Abstract

The utilization of mobile applications in the service sector has experienced significant growth, fueled by increased access to the internet and the use of smartphones. The M-TIX app, which provides online movie ticket booking services, is one example of an app that has become an important part of movie fans' routines. Despite its popularity, users have reported various issues related to usability and overall user satisfaction. In this study, we focus on the user experience of the M-TIX app by using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the user experience aspects. Through a structured qualitative approach, the UEQ enables an in-depth evaluation of six key dimensions of user experience, namely Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency, Dependability, Stimulation, and Novelty. The study involved respondents predominantly aged between 17 to 21 years old, with the largest group being 20 years old (15 respondents), and most of them (26 respondents) were students. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable recommendations for improving the design and functionality of the M-TIX application, as well as increasing the understanding of the relationship between users' characteristics and their perceptions of user experience in the context of online movie ticketing applications. This research aims to address the existing problems and enhance user satisfaction by providing actionable insights.

Abstract

The problem of this research is that there is still a lack of student activity in participatory learning as well as interaction and collaboration between students in group learning activities. In this research, Classroom Action Research (PTK) was carried out in three meetings. The subjects of this research were 25 class V students of SDN Antasan Besar 7 Banjarmasin. The measure of research success with learning completeness is that 80% of students achieved a KKM score above 80. The results of this research show that at Meeting I to Meeting III there was an increase in the acquisition of learning activities in the application of the learning model, resulting in the "Very Active" criteria at Meeting I, II and III. At Meetings II and III, learning activities increased to almost all very active. Students' critical thinking skills increased to almost all highly skilled at Meetings II and III. At Meetings II and III, students' collaboration skills increased to Almost All Skilled. Meanwhile, completeness of learning outcomes increased again to 100% at Meeting III. From the results of this research, it can be concluded that educators' activities experienced a very significant increase when implementing the PBL model supported by DNGM using Wordwall media and the Dragon Snake game, as well as student activities, critical thinking skills, collaboration skills, and learning outcomes.

Abstract

Language is not just a means of communication, but a force that shapes our perspective and behavior towards the environment. In the digital era, social media has become an important platform for environmental conservation campaigns, with hashtags (#hashtag) functioning as frames that direct meaning and mobilize action. This research examines how the Instagram account @griya_Luhu uses hashtags to campaign for environmental issues. Through ecolinguistic framing analysis of popular hashtags used, this research reveals @griya_Luhu's strategy in: Framing environmental problems and solutions, defining individual and collective roles, and promoting pro-environmental values. The research results show that @griya_luhu effectively simplifies complex issues, encourages real action, and builds collective awareness. However, some potential biases and simplifications need to be criticized. This research underscores the importance of language analysis in examining the effectiveness of environmental campaigns on social media and provides an analytical framework for future similar research.conservation. Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of the Course Review Hooray (CRH) method in teaching vocabulary and to see students' perceptions of the use Course Review Hooray (CRH) in their class. This research was based on the problem of students lack of vocabulary and motivation in learning vocabulary. The design of this research is qualitative approach. The Participants in this research were 28 students from the fourth grade of elementary school in Jrambe, Dlanggu, Mojokerto Regency. The data was collected through observation and questionnaires. The result of the first research question is the implementation of Course Review Hooray (CRH) in the classroom. There are fourth steps for the implementatition. The first, students are instructed to form groups with a total of 5 students in each group. Second, each group is given a card that is used to collect points. Third, when the teacher throws questions related to transportation material and if anyone can answer the question, the students raise their hands, and then they answer the question. Fourth, if the group's answer is correct, then 1 group cheered together “Hooraay” and followed by teacher giving points to the group's card in the form of a stamp. The group that gets the most points will get a reward at the end of the lesson. Based on the results of student perception from the implementation of Course Review Hooray (CRH), most of students feel this method is exciting, fun, the class atmosphere becomes lively, and they understand the material better if they use Course Review Hooray because it is challenging as they should collect points and they are actively involved in the learning process.

Abstract

The research focuses on creating an automated attendance system using face recognition through the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) approach at IPB University's Vocational School. The current manual attendance methods show limitations, such as potential inaccuracies in recording and the risk of cheating, like attendance proxies. To overcome these challenges, this study applies the CNN approach with Python and OpenCV, enabling automatic face detection and recognition for students. The system accurately logs attendance by identifying faces in real time. Testing indicates that the system records attendance reliably, whether with a single individual or with multiple faces present within a single frame.

Abstract

This research focuses on the use of hand tracking technology in a drawing program based on the MediaPipe framework. The aim of this study is to develop a digital drawing system that can track hand movements in real-time without additional input devices like a mouse or stylus. This technology utilizes computer vision algorithms to detect and track the user's hand movements, which are then translated into strokes on the screen. The study employs a descriptive-qualitative method with a software experimentation approach. The results show that the system has a high level of accuracy and is responsive to hand movements, providing a more natural and intuitive user experience. The implications of this research are significant in supporting technology-based educational and creative applications.
