Studi Multidisipliner: Jurnal Kajian Keislaman (Journal of Islamic Studies) published by Postgraduate IAIN Padangsidimpuan (now the status has changed to State Islamic University Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan). This journal was started in 2014, when it was still in the form of P-ISSN: 2355-7850 published twice a year, namely in June and December. But then this journal is already in the form of E-ISSN: 2477-0280, so the management of this journal is now OJS and nationally accredited. The focus and scope of this journal is research related to Islamic Education, Islamic Law, Islamic Economics, Islamic Broadcasting Communication, Islamic Thought and Philosophy, Islamic History. Authors can submit articles to this journal by reading the template articles first.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the synergy between learning and the positive impact of K-Pop in increasing the interest and learning outcomes of Indonesian teenagers, as well as analyzing strategies to improve teenagers' learning motivation through K-Pop popular culture. This research is a qualitative case study type with primary data collected through interviews and questionnaires as well as secondary data from related literature. The analysis technique used is data condensation. previous research used a qualitative descriptive approach. K-Pop provides socialization and space for self-expression for teenagers and creates strong communities. Teenagers seek an outlet from pressure through K-Pop. Visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning methods integrated with religious understanding can maximize understanding, provide inspiration and motivation, and form a psychological approach to students' emotional and spiritual needs. This strategy can create a conducive learning environment to support student development. However, this research is limited to learning motivation strategies for teenage K-Pop fans, while the effectiveness of strategies on academic achievement results needs to be tested empirically through experimental studies.

Abstract

This article reviews the concept of educators in Islam based on the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith, by identifying relevant Islamic educational values. In Islam, the role of educators is not limited to teaching science, but also to moral and religious guidance. Terms such as murabbi (educator/caregiver), mu'allim (teacher), and mu'addib (value instiller) are used to describe the diverse tasks of educators in shaping learners as a whole. Through a qualitative approach based on a literature study, this article explores educators can be grouped into four main categories, namely Allah SWT, the Prophet Muhammad, parents, and professional educators such as teachers. The results highlight that the role of educators includes guiding learners in understanding and practicing the teachings of Allah SWT, building character through example, and optimizing their cognitive, affective, and psychomotor abilities. The Prophet's educational methods, such as the compassionate approach, interactive dialogue, the use of stories, and experiential learning, proved to be in line with modern educational principles, such asstudent-centered learning andlifelong learning. This article concludes that the values of Islamic education taught by the Prophet Muhammad provide valuable guidance to answer the challenges of education in the contemporary era.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the history of the development of ISIS thought as one of the most significant radical and terrorist groups in the 21st century. The study traces the ideological roots of ISIS, including the influence of Salaf-Jihadi ideology, as well as how the group selectively uses religious literature to legitimize its actions. With a historical and multidisciplinary approach, this study uncovers the political, social, and economic factors that supported the emergence and development of ISIS, especially after the United States invasion of Iraq in 2003. The results of the analysis show that ISIS's thinking is not only rooted in extreme religious interpretations, but also influenced by geopolitical chaos, political marginalization, and the failure of local governments in the Middle East region. This study emphasizes the importance of understanding the ISIS phenomenon holistically to design effective strategies in preventing radicalism and terrorism in the future.

Abstract

Indonesian people who have religious and cultural diversity are considered capable of showing religiosity in conflict resolution between religious communities and being a peacemaker that occurs on social media. However, it cannot be denied that, in reality, during a peaceful society with various religions, conflicts still occur with various causes and effects. So, in the end, the conflict can become a negative side and a threat to the religiosity factor. This article aims to discover how one’s religiosity can affect conflict resolution on social media. This article uses a library research method. Sources of data obtained by materials that are library. The data analysis technique used is data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the religiosity of the Indonesian people will be better if conflict resolution is built on the teachings of religion itself. Every religion does not teach conflict because if there is a high level of religiosity, everyone will feel safe, comfortable, and peaceful.

Abstract

The recommendation to get married is clearly explained in the naṣ shara', but in reality at this time many teenagers who are considered mature and ready to get married are reluctant to get married and prefer to delay being single. This phenomenon has recently become widespread and is used as a principle by many teenagers in various parts of the world to Indonesia and is known as waithood. In the context of millennial adolescents today, the reasons that become factors for choosing waithood are so diverse that it is interesting to study and review their correlation with Islamic studies and gender issues. This research is a library research with a normative-sociological approach by analyzing the phenomenon of the idea of waithood through gender studies and Islamic law. The results of this study indicate that there are many factors, concepts and goals of waithood carried out by millennial adolescents today that contradict Islamic principles which clearly recommend getting married immediately if you are able and there is a connection to gender issues in the case of women who prefer waithood to not getting married, as well as gender inequality which is being called for by the UN program Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which is not only on the issue of roles in marriage but even on many other factors so that the shift in the meaning of marriage and the decision to have children is no longer considered an obligation, but a choice that can be made by women

Abstract

Banyak keluarga yang menanamkan pola hidup konsumtif dalam menjalankan bahtera kehidupan keluarganya sehingga penghasilan yang diperoleh semuanya dihabisnya untuk kebutuhan tanpa berpikir pada masa depan yang serba tidak pasti. Bahkan banyak kehidupan keluarga itu yang mengambil langkah dengan cara utang demi memenuhi keinginannya. Tujuan dari artikel ini untuk mendeskripsikan tentang pandangan Islam terhadap aktivitas investasi dalam keluarga. Metode yang digunakan kajian teoritis melalui penelusuran literatur yang berupa buku teks, jurnal-jurnal yang berhubungan dengan topik kajian ini. Dalam hasil kajian diperoleh bahwa pertumbuhan ekonomi keluarga harus dikuti oleh aktivitas investasi. Demikian juga dalam pandangan Islam bahwa investasi dianjurkan untuk menjadi bekal dimasa depan yang penuh dengan ketidakpastian. Investasi yang akan dilakukan harus memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip syariah, agar dapat memberikan manfaat baik bagi diri sendiri, lingkungan dan negara.

Abstract

The term Fana' in Sufism is the elimination of all forms of lust and despicable traits in human beings, this has similarities with the concept of Nibbana found in Buddhism, Nibbana is achieved through the practice of curbing greed, hatred and avarice. This research aims to explain the relevance of the teachings of Fana' from the perspective of Abu Abdullah Al-Harawi and Nibbana according to Buddhism. The method in this research is qualitative analytical with the primary source being the book Manazil al-Sairin and secondary sources in the form of journals and books that are still relevant to the research topic. This discussion explains the meaning of Fana' in Sufism according to Al-harawi and the meaning of Nibbana according to Buddha and the relevance of both. This research has implications for understanding the concept of teachings that deal with aspects of personal purity from the perspective of different religions, namely Islam and Buddhism. The results of this research explain that both teachings emphasize the aspect of purifying the human soul from all despicable traits, according to al-Harawi Fana is not eliminating the form of something that has been embedded in the soul or body, because the mind and body are one unit and are able to receive the nature of Haqq's existence, then fana' will not be formed without deepening ma'rifah. In Buddhism, a person reaches Nibbana when he has escaped the bonds of the world in all its aspects, so that a person feels a spiritual satisfaction that he experiences. Therefore, between Fana according to Al-Harawi and Nibbana according to Buddha, both have a concept towards the culmination of the highest moral teachings of the human soul, because both provide the conclusion of separation from the worldly life.

Abstract

This article examines the strengthening of character education based on the philosophy of Islamic education, which is based on the values of monotheism, morals, and social responsibility. The research approach applied is qualitative, using the literature review method by collecting and analyzing various relevant literature sources. The results of the study show that the integration of the principles of Islamic educational philosophy into the educational curriculum can have a positive impact on the formation of the character of the younger generation, increase moral awareness, and reduce negative behavior. Thus, this article recommends the application of Islamic educational values in the education system to address the problem of moral degradation and form a responsible generation.

Abstract

One of the important roles in the Islamization process in the archipelago is the tariqat. Tarekat is literally a "path" referring to a system of meditation exercises or practices dhikr, wirid, etc. In this study, it focuses on da'wah communication in the tarekat, especially Mursyid or the teacher of the tarekat in communicating to the congregation or prospective students in the procession of bai'at of the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah Tarekat. This research adopts a qualitative approach to describe the problems and focus of the research. The data collection method uses a descriptive method of analysis designed to obtain information. Data analysis in qualitative research is carried out during the data collection process. The data analysis techniques proposed by Miles and Hubermen include three activities, namely Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawn. In this Stimulus Organism Response communication model, the main focus is on the message conveyed as well as efforts to foster motivation in communicators, so that they can quickly receive messages and experience behavioral changes. Based on the understanding of the Stimulus Organism Response model, it can be concluded that this communication is very important to be applied by the Murshid of the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah order in Rejoso Jombang, because it can have a positive impact on the students of the order and improve the quality of understanding of the students of the Qadiriyah wa Naqsyabandiyah order in Rejoso Jombang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of Human Resources (HR) development of lecturers at the Ibn Rusyd d College of Islam (STAI) in the modern era, focusing on strategies, implementation, and challenges faced. The approach used is qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results showed that the development of human resources of lecturers at STAI Ibnu Rusyd d includes three main aspects, namely improving academic qualifications, strengthening professional competence, and fostering an Islamic work ethic. The strategies applied include the provision of further study scholarships, need-based training, and coaching through scientific forums and research activities. The implementation of this strategy is quite effective despite several obstacles, such as budget limitations, lack of active participation of some lecturers, and challenges in adapting to the latest educational technology. The research also found that the success of lecturers' human resource development management depends not only on the formal policies of the institution, but also on the commitment of the leadership, the motivation of individual lecturers, and the support of the academic ecosystem. This research is expected to be a reference for other higher education institutions in formulating adaptive and sustainable HR development policies.
