Abstract

Conatruction dealy is acommon problem Which frequently happens in construction industry. The purpose of this study was to indentity and categorize the delays causing factors greatly effecting the fish quarantine center building revavation and expansion project. The Fish quarantine center building renovation project was the object of this study motivated by delays. Futhermore, based on the secondary data obtained, time schedule is entirely used as the duration and normal cost of the project. Then, the Principal Compenent Analysis (PCA) method is applied to be able to find out the main factors causing dealys. Based on the results of the normality test and principal compenent analysis, the factors that effect the delay in the renovation and expansion of the Ambon Fish Quarantine Center Building were the material factors with a total variance of 57.575% including X1.1. Lack of construction materials, X1.2 Material changes in from, function, and specifications, X1.3 Delay in delivery of materials, X1.4 Damage to materials in storage, X1.5 Inccuracy of time.

Abstract

Risk management is an effort to manage risk comprehensively, planned, and structured in a good system to prevent unexpected risks. It may allow the management to expand results by identifiying and analyzing the risk to work accident in the Auditorium building project in a IAIN Ambon. Each  risk in the work phase must be assessed risk professionally. The assessment method used a risk assessment matrix sourced from NHS Highland, which adopted from AS/NZS 1360:2004 Risk Management. Primary data were obtained from interviews and questionnaires.   Furthermore , secondary data were collected through the company’s organizational structure and project work items. In addition, data analysis was carried out through validity and realiability test, and finally, a risk assessment was implemented. The results of this study showed that there were five risk factors; injured/stabbed by risk level of 20 work accident risk variabels, there was obvioposly one medium risk inculuded in the category high risk and 19 other variables involved in the medium risk included in the category high and 19 other variebles invoveld in the medium risk category. In consclusion, strategiees that can be carried out to prevent the risk regaarding to the classification of risk levels, namely elimination, substitution, administation, and personal protecetive Equipment (PPE).

Abstract

Road infrastructure development in outermost and remote or limited areas is one of the current government's priority programs in realizing its vision and mission. However, along the way, there is limited availability of quality road materials according to specifications. So that the construction of road infrastructure requires high costs. Actually, there are quite a lot of local materials, such as granular materials in the form of a mixture of sand and stone (sirtu) and limestone or coral materials, but they cannot be used optimally for road pavement because they do not meet the specifications or requirements. often known as substandard local materials. Utilization of local materials such as in East Lamdesar Village can be used as an alternative to overcome the problem of road construction in that location. The problem is that the quality of the material at that location is not known whether it is in accordance with specifications (standard material) or below standard (substandard). For this reason, it is necessary to carry out a series of research in the laboratory, so that the properties of the material are known. By knowing the properties of the material so that it can be ascertained whether or not it can be used as a cement foundation layer for road pavement.  The research was conducted using experimental methods through laboratory testing. The results showed that local material stabilization with cement resulted in a high compressive strength value. The value of the compressive strength is higher according to the increasing percentage of cement content used. The results of the filter analysis test that entered the foundation layer gradation were 100% and the compressive strength value that met the requirements of special specifications with a cement content of 6% was 36.19 kg/cm2. Referring to the value of the resulting compressive strength (generally 25-40 kg/cm2) then the local material of East Lamdesar Village can be used as a class A foundation layer for road pavement, and for its use or application in the field, specifications are needed as recommended based on research results. this.

Abstract

In this study which focuses on the four aspects studied, where for the main reason of being interested in aspects of human resources related to competence, motivation, loyalty and work discipline are general aspects that unwittingly exist in the worker himself and the worker is one of the triggers for the success of a construction project. These four aspects have an impact on the performance of workers, because the work does not reach the deadline. Thus, it gives rise to the desire to explore more deeply the reasons for work that does not reach the target and by increasing work time (overtime), because in the construction project of Masela Block Integrated Laboratory Supporting Buliding of Pattimura University has so many workers in their fields, it is felt that there is a slight delay due to the number of workers with the work itself. The study was conducted by distributing questionnaires for the distribution of questionnaires, the data analysis technique used was SPSS 26 software. Data analysis starts from validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, namely normality test, descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and Relative Importance Index (RII) From the results of the analysis carried out on human resources on aspects of worker performance, multiple linear regression analysis shows that human resources have a positive and significant effect on worker performance, and the most dominant influence on the results of the RII calculation is the work discipline aspect, namely 0.820 or 82%, the second is the aspect, namely competency 0.411 or 41%, then the third aspect of motivational is 0.394 or 39% and the last is the loyalty aspect, namely 0.300 or 30%.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the factors that affect labor productivity in the construction project of the Police flats building in the resort, East Seram Regency. In this study, there are four factors studied, namely management factors, technical factors, human factors and technical factors, which are related to labor productivity. Therefore, the workforce as one of the parties involved in construction projects in the field must be considered, especially the factors that affect labor productivity in the field, it is very important to know in order to increase productivity in construction projects. For this reason, it is very important to maintain labor productivity not to decline. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 30 respondents. The method of data analysis starts from the validity test, reliability test, multiple linear regression analysis to determine the hypothesis test, namely the t test and f test. The data analysis technique used is SPSS software version 26. The results of the T test show that there are three independent variables that significantly influence the dependent variable (labor productivity), namely management variables with t count (2.801) > t table (2.05), technical factors with t count (2.385) > t table (2, 05), human factor with t count (3.705) > t table (2.05). Simultaneously the four independent variables affect the dependent variable where the value of F count (44.956) > F table (2.74). And the most dominant factor seen from the results of the highest beta coefficient value, namely the human factor with a beta value of (40.8%), has a dominant effect on labor productivity.
