Education Management: Jurnal Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (Edium) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan di bawah naungan prodi manajemen pendidikan islam fakultas tarbiyah IAIN Parepare dengan ISSN 3047-244X, terbit dua kali dalam setahun juni dan desember. Jurnal ini memiliki fokus utama pada ruang lingkup manajemen lembaga pendidikan, kepemimpinan pendidikan, evaluasi kebijakan pendidikan, dan manajemen mutu pendidikan, jurnal ini bertujuan menyajikan kajian-kajian terkini dan pemikiran-pemikiran inovatif dalam bidang manajemen pendidikan, khususnya yang berhubungan dengan konteks pendidikan islam.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini membahas implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar di Pondok Pesantren DDI Mangkoso. Pondok pesantren DDI Mangkoso termasuk dalam tipe D yang menggabungkan sistem pesantren dan madrasah. Kurikulum yang digunakan adalah perpaduan antara kurikulum nasional dan kurikulum pesantren. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis implementasi kurikulum Merdeka serta mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi dalam proses implementasinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pondok Pesantren DDI Mangkoso telah mengintegrasikan kurikulum nasional dan kurikulum pesantren dalam proses pembelajaran. Namun, terdapat kendala-kendala dalam implementasi kurikulum ini, seperti keterbatasan fasilitas dan akses teknologi, adaptasi guru dengan pendekatan baru, serta perbedaan bakat dan minat siswa. Meskipun demikian, pondok pesantren DDI Mangkoso melakukan upaya untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut agar dapat mengoptimalkan penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar. Kurikulum Merdeka Belajar di Pondok Pesantren DDI Mangkoso telah memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan pendidikan dengan memperkaya proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan siswa. Meskipun masih terdapat kendala dalam implementasinya, pondok pesantren ini terus berupaya untuk mengatasi kendala tersebut dan meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yang lebih baik.

Abstract

The dynamics of implementing educational activities in Indonesia need to be improved. For this improvement, the participation of school community members is necessary so that all existing dynamics can be handled as effectively as possible. Therefore, management and its functions need to be applied in the participation of school community members and the public so that educational activity programs can run effectively and efficiently. This research aims to determine the implementation of participatory management at SMP Pelita Harapan. The researcher used a qualitative method in the data collection process, which includes observation, interviews, and the distribution or filling out of questionnaires with the target being school community members. The observation was conducted to review the process of implementing participatory management directly at SMP Pelita Harapan. Interviews were conducted with members of the SMP Pelita Harapan community to find out their responses regarding the implementation of participatory management at the school. The distribution of questionnaires to school community members, containing statements with response classifications such as strongly agree, agree, disagree, and strongly disagree, was done to obtain more detailed information or data regarding the implementation of participatory management at SMP Pelita Harapan. The results of the research show that the implementation of participatory management at SMP Pelita Harapan is quite good, but there is a need for improvement in some aspects that hinder the implementation of participatory management, such as a lack of teachers, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and others. It is the responsibility of the school principal to address these dynamics by involving the school community so that participatory management at SMP Pelita Harapan can be carried out effectively.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out what human resources management exists at SMA Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with interactive analysis that describes based on facts in the field and information from sources that will be used as data. The techniques used in collecting data by researchers are observation, interviews and documentation. The research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura. The subject of this research is the Head of HRD of SMA Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura. The results of the research show that to improve the quality of education at Muhammadiyah Al Kautsar PK Kartasura High School, several efforts were made, including (1) Recruitment and selection of teaching and education staff was carried out using administrative selection, micro teaching, and interviews. (2) To improve the skills of teaching staff, training is carried out at least once per semester. (3) The amount of salary for teaching staff varies based on the length of time they have taught. (4) Educators are protected by insurance and have pension funds. (5) Dismissal is carried out in stages with SP 1 in the form of a warning, SP 2 and SP 3 with a warning and salary cut, and finally SP 4 in the form of transfer or dismissal.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in various areas of life, including education. Digital education is a new paradigm that changes the way we access, convey and manage information. In welcoming the era of digital education, leadership based on Islamic values ​​is important to face challenges and exploit the potential offered by technology. Leadership based on Islamic values ​​has an important role in welcoming the era of digital education. Leaders who are based on Islamic values ​​can create an ethical, inclusive and unsafe educational environment. In facing the challenges and opportunities offered by digital technology, leadership based on Islamic values ​​is a strong foundation for advancing quality and ethical education. Islamic values-based leadership in digital education involves collaboration and partnership between leaders, teachers, parents, and communities. Leaders must encourage collaboration and effective communication to achieve shared goals in digital education. They must also involve parents and communities in the decision-making process and involve them in supporting student learning. Islamic values-based leadership refers to the principles and teachings of the Islamic religion that guide leaders' behavior in leading and managing digital educational institutions. Values ​​such as honesty, fairness, justice, cooperation and love are basic affection in carrying out leadership duties. Abstract

In the learning process of course there will be interaction between educators and students who have their respective roles and functions which, if carried out well, can result in learning objectives being achieved, however many students experience delays in understanding in learning at Champion Elementary School Bandung, therefore an educator or teaching staff need to first understand the concept of teaching and learning, the factors that occur and learning strategies for overcoming delays in understanding learning faced by students. The aim is to understand the concept of learning and learning, find out the factors that influence delays in understanding, and find out learning strategies in overcoming students' delays in understanding. The type of research used in this research is a qualitative research method. There are various challenges experienced by students in learning, namely challenges that involve limited knowledge and challenges regarding behavior or behavior. Therefore, the strategies provided are through learning programs, special programs that are characteristic of SD Juara Bandung, including Tilawah tahfidz Qur' an (TiTiQ). Abstract

If conflict is managed well, it can provide satisfaction for members and can even improve the performance of the organization or institution. Educators and educational staff in the educational process play a strategic role, especially in efforts to shape the character of the nation through developing the desired personality and values.This research aims to describe conflict management and job satisfaction and analyze the relationship between conflict management and job satisfaction of teaching and education staff in State Madrasah Aliyah throughout Bandung City. The approach used is quantitative with descriptive correlational analysis methods. The data in this study was obtained through the results of distributing a questionnaire using a Likert scale model consisting of four alternative answer choices given to 40 respondents. Based on the results of conflict management research, it is included in the medium category, namely 3.37 from the results of data processing. The job satisfaction of teaching and education staff is categorized as moderate, namely 3.27 from the results of data processing. Based on the results of the correlation calculation between variable So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between employee job satisfaction management in State Madrasah Aliyah throughout Bandung City. The results of the correlation test calculation show that the significance of conflict management of madrasa heads with teacher performance is 0.001 < 0.05. The results of the correlation test are positive, which means that if conflict management is further improved, employee job satisfaction will also increase. Then, from the results of the coefficient of determination test, it was obtained (R square) of 0.385, which means that the conflict management variable with employee job satisfaction has a contribution of 38.5%.

Abstract

Education is a very important thing in everyday life. However, the quality of education in Indonesia is still limited due to various factors. Education is a very important skill for every individual. A strong education can help individuals achieve desired goals, such as achieving a higher level of education, getting a suitable job, and advancing their career. However, a strong education depends not only on individual ability but also on a good education system and effective management. Therefore, this research analyzes effective strategic management in improving strong education. This research uses a literature review as a research method. This literature review is carried out by collecting data from various sources, such as journals, books, and articles. The results of this research show that effective strategic management in improving strong education has several factors that influence increasing student achievement, including creating a sense of urgency, using new curricula and programs, setting bold and ambitious goals, and using new student admission selection, providing appropriate learning, providing additional time and assistance to students who experience difficulties, and teachers as role models. The conclusion can be drawn that strategic management requires environmental analysis, strategy formulation, strategy implementation, and evaluation and control.

Abstract

The focus of this research is the management of academic services at Madrasah Aliyah Darul 'Ulum Ath-Thahiriyah Paladang District. Pinrang. To obtain data, qualitative research was carried out, using interviews, observation and documentation as well as relevant reading sources. The results of the discussion were that academic service management in madrasas is the importance of academic services, positive influence on academic achievement, collaboration, continuity and consistency, and the importance of evaluation. Madrasah is one of the Islamic educational institutions that has an important role in spreading religious knowledge as well as providing academic education to each generation and carrying out the vision and mission of the madrasah. Management of academic services in madrasas plays a key role in providing quality education, through curriculum planning that is relevant to Islamic values, developing innovative teaching methods, and monitoring student learning progress regularly. Academic services in madrasas cover various aspects, including curriculum planning in accordance with the teachings of the Islamic religion and the needs of students, developing innovative teaching methods to improve students' understanding and skills, as well as monitoring student learning progress regularly. At the madrasah, by asking directly, contact WA because at the madrasah the website used is still being repaired. Therefore, we can identify academic service needs holistically and design effective strategies to improve the learning experience of students and staff in madrasas. Thus, academic services in madrasas can make a valuable contribution in improving students' academic success if they are designed, implemented, and evaluated well.

Abstract

Leadership involves the process of influence in determining organizational goals, encouraging follower behavior to achieve a goal, influencing the group and its culture for improvement. School principals have an important role in improving school quality. The policy decisions made by the principal are very important to achieve the school's goals and quality. This article is very important because it discusses the leadership of the school principal in making a real contribution to improving the quality of Islamic education at MTs Salafiyah Wiradesa. Many people, including school principals, teachers, school committees, the Ministry of Religion, and educational researchers will benefit from reading this article. This research aims to determine the role of school principals in improving the quality of learning at MTs Salafiyah Wiradesa. This research was conducted qualitatively and used the Miles and Huberman model data analysis method, which includes data collection, reduction and inference. The results of research based on data and information obtained through interviews and observations found that to improve the quality of learning, school principals carry out arrangements with the direction and teaching duties of teachers according to the qualifications and linearity of teacher certificates and as the main task of teachers is teaching, apart from that the principal also has duties additionally, as an activity leader.

Abstract

This research examines the implementation of the Independent Curriculum management initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The Independent Curriculum aims to provide flexibility for schools and teachers in developing a curriculum that suits students' needs and potential. This study uses a qualitative approach with case study methods in several schools in various regions in Indonesia. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with school principals, teachers and educational observers, as well as analysis of curriculum documents and implementation reports. The research results show that Independent Curriculum management provides greater freedom for teachers in developing innovative teaching materials and learning methods. However, there are significant challenges in implementation, including a lack of training and assistance for teachers, limited resources, and differences in understanding of curriculum concepts at the school level. This research suggests the need to increase teacher capacity through continuous training, provision of adequate resources, and development of a comprehensive evaluation system to ensure the quality of learning in accordance with the objectives of the Independent Curriculum.
