Higher Education is education that is programmed after secondary school which includes diploma, bachelor, master, doctoral professors and specialist programs. pesantren is a learning resource center to explore religious knowledge. today many pesantren have established formal education.Islamic boarding schools have a distinctive and unique tradition compared to other educational institutions outside of pesantren. Islamic boarding schools have become a separate identity for Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. pesantren not only give birth to ulama 'who are intellectual or vice versa, but also create ulama'-scientists and vice versa. The work of past scholars should be used as a support system to repeat the same achievements today. For this reason, we need today to realize academics that have Islamic boarding school values, because world civilization is starting to be torn apart because of us who began to move away from moral idealism.

Abstract

The Prediction Guide Method is a learning model designed to actively engage students from the beginning to the end of the learning process. By using this method, students are expected to be involved from the start of the session, maintain focus, and keep their attention while the teacher delivers the material. The steps in implementing this method begin with the formation of study groups by the teacher in the classroom. Through these groups, students can discuss and share their understanding of the material being taught. The key to the success of the Prediction Guide Method is creating an interactive and non-monotonous learning atmosphere. One common problem in traditional teaching methods is that they are often too rigid and static, which can cause students to quickly feel bored and lose motivation. However, by implementing the Prediction Guide Method, the teaching and learning process becomes more engaging and encourages active participation from all students. This method has a particularly significant impact on student engagement in Islamic Education. As a result, the implementation of this method not only makes students more active but also improves their comprehension and learning outcomes. Students can more easily remember and understand the material because they are directly involved in the learning process. Through this method, teachers can also better assess students’ engagement and understanding, thereby enhancing the overall quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Islamic work ethics through an analysis of three key hadiths of Prophet Muhammad Sallaawahu ‘Alayhi Wasallam related to faith-driven productivity, purposeful action, and independent labor. The core issue addressed is the weak internalization of work values among contemporary Muslims, who often reduce religion to ritual practices alone. Using a qualitative approach and content analysis method, the selected hadiths are analyzed in terms of their chains of transmission (sanad), textual content (matan), and contextual relevance to Muslim work behavior. The results reveal that these three hadiths collectively offer a coherent framework for Islamic work ethics that balances spiritual motivation, time efficiency, and economic self-reliance. This study concludes that work in Islam is not merely an economic endeavor but a form of moral responsibility and social worship oriented toward barakah (blessing) and societal benefit.

Abstract

Science plays a crucial role in Islam. No other religion, and no holy book like the al-Qur’an, places such a high value on knowledge and commands its adherents to seek it. Islam is a religion of salvation that does not separate knowledge into dichotomous boxes. Islam should not be separated from science; instead, it should be integrated. Everything in the universe, including human creation and culture, essentially belongs to and originates from Allah. Science and technology are developing rapidly. Allah has provided humans with the tools of reason and senses to produce knowledge, as well as the universe and its contents. All of this serves the purpose of science and technology, which are based on religion. Science, as it develops, can originate from religious, rational, empirical sources, or a combination of all three. The integration of Islamic religious knowledge with science, or vice versa, implies that all knowledge ultimately originates from Allah. All manifestations of knowledge are ultimately aimed at serving God Almighty.

Abstract

Teacher professionalism is a major factor in educational success, as teachers serve not only as transmitters of knowledge but also as moral and spiritual role models for students. In the context of Islamic education, teacher professional development must be based on Islamic values that emphasize a balance between intellectual, moral, and spiritual competencies. This study uses a literature study method with a descriptive-analytical approach to analyze the concept and implementation of teacher professional development management from an Islamic perspective as well as Islamic managerial principles relevant to educational institutions. The results of the study indicate that teacher professional development management in Islam includes four main functions: planning (takhṭīṭ), organizing (tanẓīm), directing (tawjīh), and supervising (raqabah), which are oriented towards moral development, competency improvement, and the refinement of intentions and work ethics. Teacher professionalism is not only measured from pedagogical and professional aspects, but also from sincerity, trustworthiness, and noble character in carrying out duties. By implementing Islamic management based on the values of monotheism, continuous development, and a work culture modeled after the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), teachers can develop into competent individuals with noble character, and make their profession a form of devotion and worship to Allah Swt. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for Islamic educational institutions in designing comprehensive, sustainable, and spiritually oriented teacher development strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of self-management in the perspective of Islamic education by reviewing its integration with behavioral psychology theory and modern Sufi values. Through library research, this study explores classical Islamic works and relevant contemporary theories to find common ground between spiritual disciplines and modern psychology. The results of the study show that self-management in Islam is rooted in the values of tazkiyatun nafs, murāqabah, and muhāsabah, which function as internal mechanisms for behavioral control. Meanwhile, behavioral psychology explains self-management as a process of strengthening self-control and forming positive habits through reinforcement. The integration of the two gives rise to the behavioral-spiritual education paradigm, which is an educational model that balances spiritual, emotional, and behavioral awareness. This study contributes to broadening the understanding of Islamic education to be more responsive to modern challenges, especially in character building and mental health of students in the global era.
