Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the validity, practicability and effectiveness of LKPD based on learning outside the classroom. This type of research is R&D using the ADDIE model with stages, including analyze, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The research subjects were students in classes VIA, B, C at SDN Tanggul Wetan 02, Tanggul District, Jember Regency. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests and documentation. The data analysis method used is preliminary data analysis, observation and interview data in preliminary research are analyzed using comparative analysis. Analysis of LKPD validity data, LKPD practicality data analysis, effectiveness data analysis. The results of the research showed that the validity of the syllabus, lesson plans, LKPD, teaching materials, learning outcomes tests was obtained in the mode value category 4 with an average reliability of above 89% and was declared valid/suitable for use. The practicality of LKPD development based on the assessment results of three observers in three classes stated that the LKPD developed was very practical and was at 89.62% to 90.69%. The effectiveness of developing LKPD based on out-of-class learning based on the N-Gain results obtained from the pre-test and post-test in classes A, B, and C was obtained in the high category, so it can be stated that LKPD based on out-of-class learning is declared effective and can be used. improve inquiry abilities and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis validitas, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan e-modul berbasis google sites untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran berbasis bukti pada siswa SD Al-Furqon Kabupaten Jember dalam pembelajaran IPA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan Research and Development dengan model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahapan meliputi analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada uji validitas, uji kepraktisan, dan uji efektifitas. Analisis hasil tes kemampuan penalaran berbasis bukti menggunakan analisis n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas e-modul berbasis google sites adalah 95,2 % dengan kategori sangat valid. Uji kepraktisan dengan respon siswa terhadap penggunaan e-modul interaktif sebesar 93,5% dengan kriteria sangat baik, dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan e-modul berbasis google sites sebesar 93,2% dengan kategori sangat efektif. Hasil analisis n-gain menunjukkan penggunana e-modul berbasis google sites dapat meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran berbasis bukti sebesar 0,96 dengan kategori tinggi. Implikasi penelitian ini hasil pengembangan e-modul berbasis Google Sites dapat menjadi alternatif pendukung pembelajaran, untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran berbasis bukti dan memberikan kemudahan serta membangun pengetahuan peserta didik dalam memahami materi IPA. Abstract

Pada era abad 21 perkembangan teknologi dan informasi berkembang dengan sangat pesat. Untuk mengadapi perubahan yang sangat cepat tersebut diperlukan strategi yang baik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Hal ini dilakukan agar kegiatan pembelajaran sesuai dengan tuntutan perkembangan jaman. Para guru harus bisa menciptakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang konstektual atau sesuai dengan kondisi lingkungan belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) sebagai salah satu model pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan karateristik pembelajaran abad 21. Permasalahan pada penelitian ini adalah “Apakah melalui pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) dapat meningkatkan kompetensi kekongruenan dan kesebangunan siswa kelas IX di UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Konang Bangkalan tahun 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa kelas IX di UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Konang Bangkalan tahun 2023 dalam memahami kekongruenan dan kesebangunan melalui pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics). Subyek penerima tindakan dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas IX-C semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 18 orang, yang terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 6 siswa perempuan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif, yakni bersifat praktis berdasarkan permasalahan nyata. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua siklus tahapan PAOR (Planning, Acting, Observing dan Reflecting). Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan non tes yang meliputi tes, observasi, dan diskusi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa melalui pembelajaran STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) diperoleh data penguasaan materi dari siklus I ke siklus II, yaitu dari 68,50 menjadi 77,01 atau naik 8,51 poin (naik 12,42%). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui pembelajaran STEAM STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) dapat meningkatkan kompetensi siswa dalam memahami kekongruenan dan kesebangunan.

Abstract

Teacher feedback becomes essential things for student-teachers. It assists them in evaluating learning progress. However, student-teachers’ engagement is under-explored. This present study is objective to showcase Indirect-focused written corrective feedback (IFWCF). This case study focused on investigating the combination of indirect-focused written corrective feedback (IFWCF) simultaneously to the higher education students in Indonesia who engaged affectively, behaviorally, and cognitively in narrative writing class. This study uses the narrative inquiry method. The data were collected from students’ reflective journals and their corrected worksheets as teacher’s feedback and interviews. The results indicate that effectively, students engage IFWCF positively although two participants by birth felt confused and frustrated. Cognitively, students think of making plans to follow up on IFWCF, and behaviorally, they materialize the plans to fix the corrected worksheets. In conclusion, the implementation of IFWCF in writing courses has pedagogical implications for EFL students.

Abstract

Mini Herba Park (Family Medicinal Plant Education Park) is a program to develop a Toga (Family Medicinal Plant) garden which is used as a learning medium for students at RA Miftahul Ulum. This community service aims to introduce and utilize Toga Park as a instructional media. Methods for implementing this program include conducting initial site surveys and interviews, making program plans, planning learning media and teacher modules, preparing the Mini Herba Park in the form of a place, tools and materials needed as well as other needs, carrying out learning and finally carrying out monitoring and evaluation. The results of this program include a Toga educational park in the school environtment, learning media in the form of accompanying books for teachers and students who have registered with HKI.

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA rendah sehingga masih perlu dikembangkan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembangkan e-LKPD berbasis scaffolding question prompt yang valid, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran IPA. Desain penelitian pengembangan ini menerapkan model ADDIE. Teknik dan instrument pengumpulan data penelitian ini antara lain angket, tes keterampilan berpikir kritis, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi yang kemudian dianalisis. Subjek uji coba dengan uji coba kelompok besar terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas VII SMP. Hasil penelitian validitas e-LKPD berbasis scaffolding question prompt tergolong berkategori sangat valid sebesar 99%, tergolong sangat praktis dengan rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 93%, tergolong efektif dengan hasil nilai N-gain sebesar 0.73 dan rata-rata angket respon siswa sebesar 85%. Berdasarkan hasil presentase validitas, kepraktisan dan efektivitas telah mencapai kategori sangat valid, sangat praktis dan efektif sehingga e-LKPD berbasis scaffolding question prompt layak digunakan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Harjomulyo Village, located in Jember district, covers 38.44 km2 and is 700 meters above sea level. Given its geographical location, Harjomulyo has promise in the agricultural and plantation sectors, which is aided by the presence of wadung plantations that surround the majority of the communities. Despite this promise, the author believes that some issues, particularly those concerning education, life skills, and economics, require further discussion. Based on the problem identification, the remedy was bundled into the "Sekolah Perempuan Perkebunan" program. The purpose of this program is to create a platform for women in Harjomulyo Village to improve their reading ability, life skills, and capacity to manage and improve the quality of their families. The implementation process is separated into three stages: preparation and recognition of potential, challenges, and community needs; training and provision; and measurement and evaluation. The program's results include improved living skills such as making eco-prints, aromatherapy candles, and banana leaf purses. The initiative concludes with the establishment of a "Sekolah Perempuan Perkebunan," which will help Harjomulyo Village residents enhance their life skills.

Abstract

The concepts of Work, Energy, and Waves in physics often present challenges for students in Senior High Schools and Madrasah Aliyah due to their complex nature and mathematical applications. To enhance teachers' pedagogical skills in teaching these topics, continuous professional development is necessary. This study aims to improve teachers' mastery of physics content through training that incorporates two approaches: off-site and on-site training. The off-site training, conducted over two months at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Jember, included material dissection, discussions, and practice in writing teaching materials. Evaluation showed an improvement in teachers' content mastery and success in classroom implementation. The activities focused on designing simple experiments and applying innovative teaching strategies. The findings support the importance of ongoing training and the use of the TPACK framework to enhance the quality of physics teaching. The program is expected to continue with additional training sessions for the professional development of physics teachers in Jember Regency.

Abstract

Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh LKPD berbasis inkuiri berbantuan peta Vee terhadap kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa pada pembelajaran IPA di SMP. Penelitian quasi experiment melibatkan siswa kelas VIII G dan VIII H di MTsN 2 Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain non-equivalent control group design. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji independent sample t-test, kemudian dilanjutkan uji N-Gain untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan LKPD berbasis inkuiri berbantuan peta Vee berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 71,11% menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis inkuiri berbantuan peta Vee cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran ilmiah siswa.

Abstract

A sense of community enhances the exchange of information, fosters cooperation and support, and strengthens commitment to group objectives. Numerous studies have investigated the importance of community and collaborative learning activities within online environments. However, online collaborative learning and a sense of community in an English Drama Course (EDC) are still under-explored. The current study aims to fill that gap by following a group of 131 undergraduate students participating in a 16-week online EDC. Data was gathered via a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview coded by following the dimensions of the questionnaire. The current study reveals that students view online collaborative learning in an EDC positively and generate interactive engagement, teamwork, creativity, efficacy, social skills, problem-solving skills, idea generation, and enjoyment, which is particularly advantageous for navigating unfamiliar subject matter or foreign language contexts. The collaborative learning process hinges on establishing a robust sense of community, emphasizing shared objectives, effective communication, trust, collective problem-solving, and a supportive environment, highlighting the importance of addressing barriers to fostering this communal ethos for successful collaboration. The implications of this study might catalyze researchers and educators to consider developing a sense of community in online collaborative environments.
