Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of character building through community-based service activities at Pondok Pesantren Al Fadlliyah Tuban Purwaraharja Bojonggambir Tasikmalaya, particularly for sixth-grade students or third-grade Madrasah Aliyah (MA) students. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that: (1) the planning of community service activities is carried out systematically through setting character-building objectives, selecting locations, and providing student preparation; (2) the implementation involves students actively participating in various religious and social activities, such as teaching, leading prayers, and engaging in community service; (3) the character-building process is conducted continuously through guidance, monitoring, and evaluation; and (4) community service activities have a positive impact on students’ character development, particularly in terms of independence, responsibility, social awareness, communication skills, and self-confidence. Therefore, community-based service activities can be considered an effective strategy for character building in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study discusses the application of the Tahsin method assisted by the Genially application to improve students' ability to read the Qur'an in Qur'an Literacy activities. This study aims to determine the improvement in the ability to read the Qur'an in the application of the Tahsin method assisted by the Genially application in class VIII B SMPN Tana Lili. This type of research uses classroom action research (CAR). The subjects of the study were 23 students of class VIII B at SMPN 2 Tana Lili. Data collection techniques were through tests, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used were quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the test scores of students' ability to read the Qur'an increased by 39% from cycle I to cycle II, with a classical completeness score of 91% (complete). The score obtained from the N-Gain test was 0.65 or 65% with a fairly effective category. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Tahsin method with the help of the Genially application can improve the Qur'an reading skills of class VIII B students at SMPN 2 Tana Lili. Therefore, the Tahsin method can be recommended for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the philosophical perspective on the meaning of life and the role of Islamic education within the national education system. The research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, through the analysis of philosophical literature, the thoughts of Islamic and Western scholars, and educational policies in Indonesia. The findings indicate that, from an Islamic perspective, human beings have dual roles as servants of God and vicegerents (khalifah) on earth, which require an educational system that balances intellectual, moral, and spiritual dimensions. Islamic education plays a strategic role in shaping insan kamil, a complete human being characterized by faith, knowledge, and noble character. Within the national education system, Islamic education has been integrated through institutions such as pesantren, madrasah, and Islamic schools, although challenges remain in the integration of Islamic values. Therefore, strengthening a holistic and integrative educational approach is necessary to produce a generation that is both morally grounded and capable of facing contemporary challenges

Abstract

The development of the internet, technology, and information has forced the education sector to adapt to these changes to graduate students who are well-prepared for future needs. Currently, there are various platform options for learning media, one of which is Zep Quiz. This study aims to evaluate the use of Zep Quiz as a learning medium for Islamic Studies. The research method employed is Research and Development using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the study indicate that the game-based learning evaluation tool using Zep Quiz has a validity score of 0.90, a practicality score of 0.95, and an effectiveness score of 0.87. Therefore, the Zep Quiz evaluation tool is suitable for use, as it is highly valid, practical, and effective

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the context, input, Process, and product aspects of the implementation of the Industrial Work Practice Program at SMKN 1 Lembah Melintang, West Pasaman Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive evaluative research type using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The research data were obtained through distributing questionnaires to 126 respondents consisting of students, supervising teachers, principals, and DUDI (Industrial and Industrial Business World) parties. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis techniques with percentages. The results showed that the evaluation of the context aspect obtained a percentage of 78.82% with a good category, the input aspect was 74.20% with a good category, the Process aspect was 74.01% with a good category, and the product aspect was 73.45% with a good category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the PKL Program at SMKN 1 Lembah Melintang, West Pasaman Regency has been running well and is able to support the improvement of students' competencies and work readiness as well as the development of students' Islamic character, although some improvements are still needed in the aspects of monitoring and coordination with the Business World and Industry (DUDI)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of nature exploration activities in developing the curiosity of Group A children at RA An-Nur, located in Mentor Village, Probolinggo. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that nature exploration provides direct learning experiences that effectively stimulate children’s curiosity through observing, questioning, discovering, and discussing. Children became more active in asking questions, showing exploratory interest, and communicating their findings to teachers and peers. The teacher played an essential role by providing guiding questions and support that encouraged critical thinking. Moreover, this activity positively influenced children’s language and social-emotional development. Therefore, nature exploration is proven to be an effective and relevant learning strategy for fostering curiosity in early childhood

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation and implications of the Sekolah Sak Ngajine Program in enhancing holistic Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Miftahul Ulum Islamic Elementary School, Klemunan, Wlingi, Blitar. Methods: The research employs a qualitative approach with a single case study design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, teachers, and students, as well as document analysis. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman model (data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing). The program implementation consisted of two main stages: (1) The conceptual/planning stage included Program Planning, Foundation Consolidation, Curriculum Integration, and Procedure Development; (2) The practical stage involved Socialization, Execution/Implementation, and Monitoring & Evaluation. The program had positive implications across three holistic education domains: (a) Increased understanding of PAI materials (Qur'an, Fiqh, Aqidah-Akhlaq); (b) Enhanced student character, responsibility, spiritual awareness, and worship discipline; (c) Improved skills in reading the Qur'an with tartil and practicing worship (ablution, prayer). Sekolah Sak Ngajine Program has proven effective as an integrative model for realizing holistic PAI, aligning with Ki Hajar Dewantara's "Cipta, Rasa, Karsa" (Cognitive, Affective, Psychomotor) concept. The program's success is supported by the synergy of the three educational centers (school, foundation, family) and systematic managerial implementation.

Abstract

Environmentally-conscious Islamic Education at SMA Plus 30 Juz, Serang, Banten, serves as a relevant case study to address the challenges of the ecological crisis while optimizing the role of Islam in building environmental awareness. This qualitative research aims to examine in-depth the implementation, value construction, and internalization of Islamic education integrated with ecological awareness at the school. The results show that the holistic integration of Islamic values ​​(such as the concept of caliph, trust, and morals) with environmental education operationalized through a contextual curriculum, participatory learning methods, and school-based programs successfully created a transformative educational ecosystem. Collaborative strategies between teachers, students, and all stakeholders, supported by school policies, not only enrich theoretical religious understanding but also internalize it into concrete behaviors such as waste management, hydroponics, and energy saving

Abstract

This research aims to formulate a character education model built through the habituation of congregational Dhuha prayer at SMK Turen in 2025, serving as a strategy to strengthen students' religious character and discipline. The approach applied is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, which encompasses the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation studies, and subsequently analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. The research findings reveal that the resulting design integrates religious values into learning activities, designs schedules and procedures for congregational Dhuha prayer, and develops habituation monitoring instruments. Expert validation results categorized the design as "highly feasible," while effectiveness testing indicated a significant increase in students' discipline, responsibility, and spiritual attitudes. Thus, the habituation of congregational Dhuha prayer is proven to be a practical and consistently applicable character education approach within the school environment.
