Abstract

Penelitian ini memaparkan dampak permasalahan kesehatan mahasiswa semester awal di suatu perguruan tinggi terhadap performa akademik. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan survei online yang disebarkan dengan hasil 104 responden yang merupakan pelajar laki-laki dan perempuan berusia 16-20 tahun. Tujuannya untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang prevalensi gangguan kesehatan mental di kalangan siswa dan dampaknya terhadap performa akademik. Temuan ini menyoroti nilai korelasi sebesar -0.403<0.001 yang artinya terdapat hubungan yang negatif antara gangguan kesehatan mental terhadap performa akademik, bahwa semakin tinggi tingkat gangguan kesehatan mental, semakin rendah perfroma akademik. Adapun beberrapa strategi seperti menerapkan kebiasaan gaya hidup sehat, manajemen waktu yang efektif, dan mencari dukungan bila diperlukan dapat membantu mengurangi risiko gangguan kesehatan mental dan menjaga prestasi akademik. Melalui mengintegrasikan strategi ini ke dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, individu dapat berupaya mengurangi stres, meningkatkan kesehatan mental, dan mempertahankan performa akademik.

Abstract

Academic worry is something commonly experienced by many people.One of the frequently used ways to overcome academic worry is to listento Murottal Al-Quran. Study This aims to evaluate how effective listeningto Murottal Al-Quran is in reducing anxiety among students in the city ofPalembang. Research methods This uses a design experiment withtechnique taking random samples One pretest-posttest group. A total of15 students in the city of Palembang became the subjects of this study.Anxiety scale from Isthifha (2011) is used in this study. Research resultsshow that therapeutic listening to Murottal Al-Quran is not valid and hasa significant impact in reducing academic worry in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menelaah secara mendalam dinamika perkembangan psikososial yang dialami oleh siswa muallaf di dalam lingkungan madrasah, dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi. Kajian ini memusatkan perhatian pada pengalaman personal siswa, khususnya dalam proses adaptasi sosial, pembentukan identitas keislaman, serta interaksi mereka di lingkungan pendidikan yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai agama. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan kerangka fenomenologis digunakan dalam studi ini, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi secara langsung, dan analisis dokumentasi yang melibatkan siswa muallaf, tenaga pendidik, serta staf madrasah tingkat menengah. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa siswa muallaf menghadapi dinamika transisi psikososial yang tidak sederhana, yang terlihat melalui proses pencarian identitas religius, tantangan emosional, dan upaya menjalin hubungan sosial yang harmonis. Adapun demikian, keberadaan madrasah yang inklusif, keterlibatan guru dalam pembinaan spiritual, serta partisipasi siswa dalam aktivitas keagamaan turut memperkuat proses internalisasi nilai Islam dan pembentukan jati diri.

Abstract

Technological developments have changed the way students prepare academic assignments, including the use of Gemini technology. Students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, class of 2022, Raden Fatah State Islamic University, Palembang, have begun to utilize this technology to increase the effectiveness of searching for references, compiling arguments, and editing writing. This study aims to determine the benefits of using Gemini technology as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in completing the paper assignments of students of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program, class of 2022. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses reduction, presentation, and verification techniques. The results of the study show that Gemini technology increases efficiency in searching for references, organization, and writing quality. Supporting factors include ease of understanding complex material and acceleration of reference searches. While inhibiting factors include lack of technical skills of students, unstable internet access

Abstract

This community service aims at improving English speaking skills through an English Speaking Club for teenagers of Budi Mulya Village, Banyuasin Regency. The location of the English Speaking Club is Budi Mulya Village, Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin Regency. The target of this activity is the village youth in Budi Mulya Village, totaling 25 people. These village youth are aged between 12 to 18 years old. Before the English Speaking Club was formed, a driving team was formed to assist in the formation and implementation of Speaking English Club activities in Budi Mulya Village. The team consisted of 1 lecturer of English Education Study Program and 3 students of English Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Keguruan Sciences, UIN Raden Fatah Palembang, who carried out the Real Work Lecture for 40 days (14 January to 24 February 2025) in Budi Mulya Village, Banyuasin Regency, and 1 English teacher of SDN 15 Air Kumbang. The result of this community service covered some steps, including (1) the process of socialization and recruitment of members; (2). determining the schedule and learning materials; and (3) the activities carried during the community service. With the ability to communicate in English that Budi Mulya adolescents gained at English Speaking Club, they could also participate in student exchange programs, seminars, discussions, and various other activities that could broaden their horizons.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of self-regulation and social support on academic procrastination among students at one of the private universities in Jakarta. Academic procrastination, defined as the intentional delay of academic tasks despite awareness of negative consequences, is a prevalent issue that undermines student performance, increases stress, and affects well-being. This quantitative research employed a census sampling method, involving 96 students from the Faculty of Education. Data were collected using validated psychometric scales: academic procrastination (14 items, α=0.833), self-regulation (19 items, α=0.839), and social support (18 items, α=0.946). Simple and multiple linear regression analyses, conducted with IBM SPSS Statistics 24, revealed significant results. Self-regulation exhibited a strong negative effect on academic procrastination (t=-7.189, p=0.000<0.05, β=-0.596), indicating that enhanced self-regulatory skills, such as goal-setting and time management, reduce procrastination tendencies. Social support also demonstrated a significant negative effect (t=-2.829, p=0.006<0.05, β=0.280), suggesting that encouragement from family and peers mitigates delay behaviors. Together, self-regulation and social support significantly predicted academic procrastination (F=25.629, p=0.000<0.05), explaining 35.5% of the variance. These findings highlight the critical roles of self-regulation and social support in addressing academic procrastination. Practically, the results advocate for interventions like time management workshops and peer support groups to foster academic productivity. This study contributes to educational psychology by offering evidence-based strategies to reduce procrastination, enhancing student success and well-being in higher education settings.

Abstract

Research aims to empower parents to create a strong learning environment right in their own homes. By understanding how we learn, educators and parents can develop effective teaching strategies and boost the overall quality of education. In a nutshell, learning theories are crucial for understanding how children process information and how parents can make learning more effective. Parents can utilize various strategies and techniques, drawing from both general learning theories and specific family learning theories, to improve the quality of their children's learning and academic outcomes within the family setting. This study used a qualitative approach, focusing on school-aged children. It delved into real-life events and phenomena using a descriptive qualitative method, primarily through a literature review of theories in learning and family education. The findings show that learning is a relatively permanent change in behavior or potential behavior, stemming from reinforced experience or practice. Essentially, if someone has truly learned something, they'll be able to demonstrate a change in their behavior

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh fakta dan fenomena bahwa pembentukan karakter melalui aktifitas keseharian atau Amalul Yaumiyah yang sudah menjadi program pondok pesantren Assalam Sungai Lilin Muba dalam rangka pembentukan karakter Islami bagi santri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif análisis. Menurut pendekatannya penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan Fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; pertama ditemukan strategi pembentukan karakter santri melalui aktfitas amal yaumiyah di Pondok Pesantren Assalam Muba melalui beberapa metode yaitu; melalui keteladanan, melalui pembiasaan, melalui kedisiplinan, melalui metode targhib/ motivasi, dan dengan melalui metode tarhib/ ancaman/ hukuman. Kedua, Faktor yang mempengaruhi pembentukan karakter santri pada aktifitas amal yaumiyah disebabkan oleh 2 faktor yaitu; faktor pendukung dan faktor pengambat. Dari faktor pendukung didapati ada beberapa antara lain: yaitu (a) motivasi dan semangat para santri dalam menuntut ilmu dan belajar, (b) adanya dukungun dari pengasuh santri dalam membimbing, dan mengawasi aktifitas santri selama 24 jam.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta dan fenomena pengamatan peneliti bahwa, keberadaan kegiatan pengajian atau majelis taklim kaum ibu ini, tidak hanya terbatas sebagai tempat pengajian saja, tetapi juga menjadi lembaga yang tempat penyelenggaran pengajaran wawasan atau pengajian materi agama Islam. Oleh karena itu pelaksanaan kegiatan pengajian ini juga menjadi sarana dakwah pembinaan dan peningkatan kualitas hidup umat Islam sesuai tuntutan ajaran agama. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif análisis. Menurut pendekatannya penelitian ini adalah penelitian dengan menggunakan pendekatan Fenomenologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa; Proses pelaksanaan pengajian pekanan kaum Ibu di Desa Mulyorejo dilaksanakan sepekan sekali yaitu setiap hari Kamis siang sampai sore dengan durasi pengajian sekitar 2 (dua) jam yang dimulai sekitar pukul 14.30 Wib sampai dengan pukul 16.30 Wib. Materi dan metode yang disampaikan pada pelaksanaan kegiatan pengajian pekanan An-Nur menggunakan materi dan metode pengajaran yang bervariatif di antaranya; aqidah akhlak, fiqih ibadah, tafsir al-Quran dan Hadis, serta materi lain yang berhubungan dengan materi agama Islam. Faktor yang mempengaruhi  kaum ibu mengikuti pengajian pekanna An-Nur yaitu; waktu pengajian yang fleksibel, narasumber yang berpengalaman, muatan materi yang beragam, dan menambah penguatan wawasan pengethauan keagamaan serta momen silaturahim antar sesama jamaah pengajian.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak kecemasan berbicara di depan umum pada siswa di SMA Negeri 15 Kecamatan Ilir Timur I Palembang. Dan mengambil contoh dari observasi langsung beberapa kelas yang telah disampaikan oleh guru. Ketika salah satu siswa ditunjuk oleh guru, bahasa tubuh yang ditunjukkannya sama gigihnya dengan konsep kecemasan komunikasi. Powell & Powell (2010) menjelaskan kecemasan komunikasi sebagai tingkat ketakutan individu yang berkaitan dengan situasi komunikasi, baik komunikasi nyata maupun komunikasi yang akan dilakukan individu tersebut dengan orang lain atau dengan banyak orang. Metode penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian, disimpulkan beberapa hal dalam penelitian Dampak Kecemasan Komunikasi pada Siswa di SMA Negeri 15 Ilir Timur I Kabupaten Palembang, ketiga subjek mengalami hal tersebut. dampak dari kecemasan komunikasi, seperti rasa takut, khawatir dan malu terhadap tanggapan orang lain dan subjek merasakan situasi yang sangat mengancam karena ketidakpastian di masa depan dan ketakutan akan terjadi sesuatu yang buruk.
