Abstract

Kampus adalah wadah yang menaungi individu-individu dengan tekad kuat untuk berkembang, baik dalam aspek fisik, spiritual, maupun intelektual.. Kampus juga merupakan arena bagi manusia yang mempunyai intelektualitas tinggi, artinya menonjol aspek argumentasi, pemikiran, gagasan, konsep dan solusi intelektual. Kampus, terutama yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai Islam, menjadi tempat bagi individu yang mampu menjaga keseimbangan antara iman, ilmu, dan teknologi. Ketiga aspek ini dapat menjadi alat strategis bagi kaum akademisi untuk mengatasi berbagai bentuk kemerosotan di berbagai sektor kehidupan di Indonesia, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan moral dan akhlak yang kian menurun. Tingkat intelektualitas dan profesionalitas yang tinggi dapat menjadi fondasi yang kuat dalam menegakkan nilai-nilai kebenaran. Hal ini jelas merupakan potensi besar di bidang dakwah. Dakwah yang bertujuan mengajak manusia menuju jalan Allah SWT serta menghapus segala bentuk jahiliyah—baik dalam pola pikir maupun perilaku—dapat diemban oleh para pembawa risalah Islam di lingkungan kampus. Lebih spesifik lagi, ini diwujudkan dalam aktivitas dakwah kampus.

Abstract

This study evaluated student characters in schools, analysed the role of school staff in shaping good characters, explored parental influence on student character, and examined measures guiding schools in character development. It used a descriptive survey design with a sample of 540 students from public secondary schools in Ondo State. Results revealed that students arrive early (mean: 3.71, SD: 1.12) and attend classes regularly (mean: 3.80, SD: 1.03). Collaboration and helping behavior (means: 3.47 and 3.53, SDs: 1.16 and 1.13), as are honesty (mean: 3.71, SD: 1.12), respect for authority (mean: 3.87, SD: 0.93). Resilience (mean: 3.41, SD: 1.08), adherence to school hours (mean: 3.24, SD: 1.24). Teachers exhibit punctuality (mean: 3.87, SD: 0.93), confidence (mean: 3.67, SD: 1.07), and approachability (mean: 3.59, SD: 1.04). Parental support (mean: 3.62, SD: 1.07) and school regulatory measures (mean: 3.67, SD: 1.07). The findings showed the importance of cohesive efforts by students, staff, and parents in fostering positive character traits and values in school settings. The study concluded students’ value and character can be shaped through quality education.

Abstract

This study examines the call to da'wah of the Prophet PBUH contained in his letters through a stylistic approach, focusing on the call addressed to Muslims and infidels. Da'wah is one of the main missions of the Prophet PBUH which is not only carried out orally, but also through writing in the form of letters sent to various leaders and communities at that time. The research method used is stylistic analysis with a descriptive-qualitative approach to the text of the letters of the Prophet PBUH which contain the call to da'wah. The analysis focused on the language style, word choice, sentence structure, and rhetorical strategies used in conveying the message of da'wah to two different target groups: Muslims and infidels. The results of the study show that the Prophet PBUH used a different stylistic approach in preaching to Muslims and infidels. In the appeal to Muslims, the language style used tends to be persuasive-educational with an emphasis on strengthening faith, reminding of religious obligations, and motivation to increase piety. Meanwhile, in his appeal to the infidels, the Prophet PBUH used a more diplomatic but firm approach, with an emphasis on the invitation to convert to Islam, an explanation of the oneness of Allah, and a warning of the consequences of rejecting the truth. This stylistic difference reflects the wisdom of the Prophet PBUH in choosing the right communication strategy according to the background and psychological condition of the message recipient. These findings contribute to the understanding of the da'wah method of the Prophet PBUH and its relevance for the development of contemporary da'wah strategies

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model pendekatan kolaboratif dalam dakwah dan pengabdian masyarakat yang diterapkan oleh Yayasan Pendidikan Tinggi As-Syafi’iyah (YAPTA). Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bentuk kolaborasi YAPTA dengan berbagai pihak, seperti pemerintah, organisasi masyarakat, dan Badan Kontak Majelis Taklim (BKMT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kolaboratif YAPTA mampu memperluas jangkauan dakwah serta meningkatkan efektivitas program pengabdian masyarakat, khususnya di lingkungan perkotaan dan kelompok masyarakat kurang mampu. Faktor pendukung utama keberhasilan kolaborasi ini adalah integrasi antara pendidikan formal dan nilai-nilai keislaman, keterlibatan aktif berbagai pemangku kepentingan, serta adanya inovasi program berbasis kebutuhan masyarakat. Namun, penelitian juga menemukan tantangan berupa keterbatasan sumber daya dan koordinasi antar lembaga. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan sinergi antarlembaga dan pengembangan model kolaborasi yang adaptif agar dampak dakwah dan pengabdian masyarakat dapat lebih optimal. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi institusi dakwah lain dalam mengimplementasikan strategi kolaboratif berbasis pemberdayaan masyarakat.

Abstract

Negara Singapura yang terletak di kawasan Asia Tenggara merupakan negara sekular di mana adanya pemisahan antara urusan negara dan agama. Menjadi seorang mualaf di negara Singapura memperoleh tantangan tersendiri dalam menjadi kehidupan sebagai Muslim. Ada beberapa alasan seseorang menjadi mualaf. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi melalui analisis video, serta studi literatur yang melibatkan penelaahan terhadap buku dan jurnal relevan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori pilihan rasional James S. Coleman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa para informan Muslim memilih menganut agama Islam ditinjau dari teori pilihan rasional yaitu mendapatkan sejumlah manfaat seperti memperoleh kedamaian dalam hidup, mendapatkan sejumlah keuntungan ekonomi, lebih dapat mengendalikan emosi, mendapatkan pasangan seiman dan mendapatkan ketenangan. Kerugian yang timbul berupa tidak dapat mengonsumsi daging babi dan minuman berakolhol, mendapatkan stigma dari masyarakat maupun keluarga, dan harus selektif dalam memilih bahan makanan. Kesimpulannya, bahwa menjadi seorang mualaf di negara sekular dan berpenduduk mayoritas non-Muslim seperti Singapura merupakan proses yang penuh tantangan namun juga memberikan manfaat tersendiri bagi individu yang menjalani proses tersebut. Berdasarkan analisis menggunakan teori pilihan rasional James S. Coleman, para mualaf memutuskan untuk memeluk Islam karena mempertimbangkan manfaat yang lebih besar dibandingkan kerugian yang harus mereka tanggung.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies of Islamic Education and Character (PAIBP) teachers in enhancing students’ emotional intelligence through contextual teaching and learning at SMA Negeri 1 Kota Tangerang Selatan. The research employed a mixed-method approach with an explanatory sequential design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires, and then analyzed using both qualitative descriptive and quantitative techniques. The findings reveal that PAIBP teachers implemented various strategies such as modelling, cooperative learning, role playing, and reflection to help students recognize, regulate, and develop their emotional intelligence. Supporting factors include teachers’ readiness to design relevant learning materials, supportive school environments, and adequate literacy resources. However, limited literacy among some students emerged as an obstacle in applying contextual learning effectively. Overall, this study highlights that contextual teaching significantly contributes to the development of students’ emotional intelligence and provides valuable insights for improving PAIBP instructional practices.

Abstract

Penting bagi pendidik untuk tidak hanya berperan sebagai pengajar, tetapi juga sebagai pembina hubungan emosional yang positif dengan peserta didik. Rendahnya kualitas hubungan emosional antara guru dan peserta didik dapat berdampak pada lemahnya motivasi, antusiasme, dan kenyamanan belajar di lingkungan sekolah, sehingga menghambat tercapainya tujuan pendidikan secara optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui “Efektivitas Penggunaan Bahasa Cinta Dalam Mempengaruhi Psikologi Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas X di MAN 2 Jakarta”. Bahasa cinta yang dikemukakan oleh Gary Chapman mencakup lima bentuk, yaitu sentuhan fisik, kalimat penguatan, waktu berkulitas, hadiah, dan tindakan pelayanan, yang dapat digunakan sebagai pendekatan afektif dalam membangun relasi yang kuat antara guru dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran dengan desain concurrent triangulation. Data kualitatif diperoleh melalui observasi dan wawancara dengan guru serta peserta didik, kemudian dianalisis melalui proses reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Sementara itu, data kuantitatif diperoleh dari penyebaran angket kepada 70 peserta didik kelas X, dan dianalisis menggunakan uji Independent Sample T-Test serta perhitungan effect size (Cohen’s d). Hasil temuan kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan bahasa cinta dapat mempengaruhi kedekatan emosional, motivasi, minat belajar, serta mengurangi kecemasan, dan meningkatkan self-esteem. Secara kuantitatif, hasil uji Independent Sample T-Test diperoleh nilai Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000. artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok, dengan tingkat psikologi belajar kelompok pertama sebesar (103,69) yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelompok kedua (82,00). Selain itu diperoleh nilai Cohen’s d sebesar 2,901, ini menunjukkan effect size yang sangat kuat bukan hanya secara statistik, tetapi juga secara praktis. Dengan demikian, penggunaan bahasa cinta terbukti efektif dalam mempengaruhi psikologi belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that one of the factors that can improve student learning outcomes is complete and adequate infrastructure. Infrastructure facilitates and facilitates student learning in the learning process, thus facilitating optimal learning outcomes. This study aimed to determine the effect of infrastructure on improving learning outcomes at Harvard Junior High School, Jakarta. The method used in this study was correlation with a quantitative approach. Simple random sampling was used, with 27 students as respondents. The results showed that the Product Moment coefficient test yielded an "rxy" or "ro" of 0.232, while "rt" at the 5% significance level was 0.388 and at the 1% significance level was 0.496. Therefore, the null hypothesis (Ho) was accepted, while the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Based on these results, it can be concluded that infrastructure does influence learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the tendency of Indonesian Muslims to often equate the terms da’i and muballigh, even though both have fundamental differences in meaning and function within the framework of Islamic preaching. The reduction of da’wah understanding merely to sermons results in the narrowing of Islam’s da’wah role, which should be transformative. The purpose of this study is to explain the terminological distinction between da’i and muballigh based on Qur’anic sources, hadith, and da’wah literature, to elaborate on their social roles, and to demonstrate their significance for the development of da’wah studies. The research method used is a literature review by examining books, journals, and previous studies, which were then analyzed using Qur’anic Semantics and Role Theory. The data show that a da’i plays a broader role as a mentor and agent of social change, while a muballigh focuses on message delivery. In conclusion, this terminological distinction is crucial for strengthening the epistemology of da’wah and contemporary da’wah practices. Abstract

Entrepreneurship education has been a vital solution to the difficult problem of unemployment and job creation. The present study examines the potential of entrepreneurship education in addressing the controversial issues of job creation and unemployment in Nigeria. With the provision of required skills, knowledge, and capacities, entrepreneurship education makes people self-employed as well as employable. The study observes the benefits of entrepreneurial education, including the creation of employment, minimization of unemployment, and encouragement of sustainable development. The study also identifies the need for responding to changing skill requirements and nurturing an entrepreneurship ethos. The findings observe that entrepreneurial education can play a major role in mitigating the effects of unemployment and aiding economic growth, innovation, and self-sufficiency. Through investment in entrepreneurial education, individuals, communities, and nations can create new economic opportunities and prosperity. It provided possible solutions to the challenges, and therefore conclusion were drawn. It was however recommended that the government should give adequate attention to entrepreneurial development in the country through the provision of good economic environment to encourage individual participation in business. While this is guaranteed, entrepreneurship will thrive and consequently create jobs and mitigate the effects of unemployment of graduate in Nigeria.
