Abstract

Learning interest is a crucial factor in determining the success of the learning process. However, in practice, many students show a lack of interest in certain subjects, such as Arabic. One of the causes is the use of less varied teaching methods and the lack of motivation instilled in students. This study aims to analyze the influence of lecture methods and motivation on increasing the learning interest of Grade VII students at MTsN 4 Blitar in Arabic subjects. This research uses a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires distributed to 51 students as the research sample. The analysis results show that the lecture method (X1) does not have a significant influence on increasing students' learning interest, with a significance value of 0.814 (> 0.05). On the other hand, motivation (X2) has a significant influence on increasing students' interest in learning, with a significance value of 0.008 (< 0.05). Simultaneously, the lecture method and motivation together have a significant influence on increasing student learning interest, as indicated by a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). This study concludes that motivation plays an essential role in stimulating students' interest in learning Arabic, while the lecture method requires support from other teaching strategies to be more effective.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the strategies of Arabic speaking skills training at the Annuqayah Islamic Boarding School Madura. The factors that help and factors that hinder the performance of this strategy. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out by observing the Mauhibah Arabiyah Program, interviews with female supervisors, administrators and students, as well as studying documents. The Miles and Huberman method was used to analyze the data, which consists of four steps: collecting data, classifying it, presenting it, and drawing conclusions from it. The research results show that the speaking arts training strategy in the Mauhibah Arabiyah Program for Annuqayah Islamic boarding school Madura students is achieved in three forms: 1) scientific debate 2) public speaking 3) and story telling. The internal factor that plays a role is female student discipline. External supporting factors are teacher discipline, the existence of special texts, encouragement and supervision of female graduates, as well as in-depth supervision from female administrators and supervisors and the Arab environment. The internal inhibiting factor is the lack of self-confidence of new female students, while the external inhibiting factor is limited educational methods and communication tools. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas program taqdimul aro dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara (maharah kalam) bahasa Arab santri di Pondok Pesantren Darun Nun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengukur kemampuan berbicara santri sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti program yaitu pre tes dan pos tes. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kemampuan berbicara dan kuesioner, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji t-sampel berpasangan (paired sample t-test) untuk membandingkan rata-rata skor sebelum dan sesudah program. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan berbicara santri setelah mengikuti program taqdimul aro. Hasil penelitiann mengindikasikan bahwa program taqdimul aro efektif dalam meningkatkan maharah kalam santri, yang sejalan dengan visi dan misi pondok untuk "berbahasa dan berkarya". Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar bagi pengembangan program pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang lebih efektif di pondok pesantren serta memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bahasa Arab secara umum. Dengan demikian, hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan dasar untuk pengembangan program pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang lebih efektif di pondok pesantren, serta memberikan kontribusi dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bahasa Arab secara umum.

Abstract

ظهرت صعوبة إتقان فهم اللغة العربية الدي الطلاب الذين يتعلمون اللغة العربية بمعهد منبع الصالحين وذالك بسبب عدم اختيار النظرية المناسبة في العملية التعليمية. مع أن المعهد منبع الصالحين من المعهد الذي يستخدم اللغة العربية في كل أنشطة اليومية من الكلام والكتابة والقراءة ومن أنشطة اللغوية الكثيرة هناك البرنامج الخاصة لزيادة تعليم اللغة العربية خارج المعهد الرسمية ويسمى بالبرنامج “درس الإضافي للغة العربية” وفي تعليميه قد تم تطبيق طريق المباشرة في تعليم المفردات وهناك الأشياء المميزة لكون عملية التعليم مرتفعا و ترتفع كفاءة الطلاب في فهم اللغة العربية وكذالك جودتهم اللغوي ، لذا أرادت الباحثة أن يكشسف بعض الأمور التي تتعلق بتطبيق عملية تعليم المردات بمعهد منبع الصالحين، وهي : 1) لمعرفة ولكشف اللمحة عن تطبيق لطريقة المباشرة في تعليم المفردات بمعهد منبع الصالحين للبنات بجرسيك. 2) ثم لمعرفة عن العوامل المؤثرة على تطبيق لطريقة المباشرة في تعليم المفردات بمعهد منبع الصالحين للبنات بجرسيك . 3) والآخير لمعرفة إسهام تطبيق طريقة المباشرة في ترقية لمفردات بمعهد منبع الصالحين للبنات بجرسيكاستخدم البحث المدخل الكيفي بنوع البحث الوصفي و تمّ جمع البيانات عن طريقة الملاحظة والمقابلة و دراسة الوثائق . وأما طريقة تحليل البيانات فهي طريقة ميلس هوبرمان من جمع البيانات و تركيزها وعرضها و الاستنتاج منها . وخلاصة بحثها هي أن استخدام طريقة المباشرة له إيجابية في تعليم المفردات لدى المتعلمين من الناطقين بغير العربية . الكلمات المفتاحية : تطبيق، الطريقة المباشرة، تعليم المفردات.

Abstract

In order to learn a foreign language, in this instance Arabic, the direct technique is used in this study to describe the effectiveness of the outcomes. B.F. Skinner claimed that language originates from the stimulus-response (S-R) between speakers and listeners using the operand theory. Researchers employ pre-test, treatment, and post-test instruments as part of the experimental research methodology. The study's findings were based on the percentage of Mambaus Sholihin Islamic Boarding School test results that indicated improved performance on the post-test compared to the pre-test following Muhadatsah activities. Second Language Acquisition (SLA) is the process of learning a second language. The aim of this study is not to assert that this approach is the most correct and effective in SLA, but rather to show that this method and theory is one of the most effective ways. Abstract

This research is an investigation effort into Nahwu learning at the Anwarul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Malang, in order to find a learning model and its impact on the ability of class 2 of Madrasah Wustho Diniyah Nurul Huda, Anwarul Huda Islamic Boarding School, Malang, in reading. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The instruments used include: interviews, observation, documentation and tests. The results of the research are that the Nahwu learning model is based on the Teacher Centered Learning approach, thereby reducing the deductive method which begins with the ustaz's activity of interpreting books in Javanese, then providing explanations in Indonesian, and providing opportunities for students to ask questions; and the implemented learning model is able to improve students' ability to read books, but not too significantly.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the use of interactive media Froggy Jumps in improving the mastery of Arabic vocabulary in fifth grade students of SD Islam Surya Buana. The media is a digital-based educational game integrated in the Educaplay platform, designed to increase learning engagement and motivation through an interactive approach. The method used was a pseudo-experiment with a pretest-posttest design to measure the difference in achievement of learning outcomes before and after the intervention. Data analysis showed a significant improvement in Arabic vocabulary acquisition after the application of the media, which was reflected in the increase in evaluation scores as well as an increase in learners' active participation during the learning process. The research findings indicate that the use of Froggy Jumps interactive media is more effective than conventional learning methods in improving vocabulary acquisition. This media is proven to be able to motivate learners, increase active engagement, and facilitate vocabulary comprehension and retention through visual, audio, and interactive game features that are in accordance with the characteristics of learners. Therefore, Froggy Jumps interactive media is recommended as an alternative innovative learning media that is effective in supporting the improvement of Arabic vocabulary acquisition at the elementary school level.

Abstract

This research aims to identify bibliometric data and conduct a critical reflection on studies related to the use of language games as a medium for Arabic language learning. It also aims to determine which titles have high novelty value to serve as a reference for researchers in publishing future scientific works. The researcher employs a library research approach using the Systematic Literature Review method. Data collection was conducted using the Publish or Perish (POP) software, Crossref, and analysis was carried out using the VOSviewer application. The data search was based on the keyword "Arabic Language Games" in two languages, Indonesian and Arabic, within the time range of 2019–2023. An analysis of 259 published articles using the VOSviewer application through co-occurrence produced bibliometric visualizations based on keywords, including network visualization, overlay visualization, and density visualization. The findings revealed that pantomime games, digital games, bingo games, Kahoot games, and games using AI have high novelty value and potential for further research. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the content of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) questions on the Ministry of Religious Affairs Madrasah Aliyah Assessment exam questions in 2024. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis method. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman model which includes four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the details of questions containing Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) contained in the Ministry of Religious Affairs' Madrasah Aliyah Assessment exam questions in 2024 had a combination of various cognitive levels. The number of HOTS questions contained in the Ministry of Religious Affairs Madrasah Aliyah Assessment exam questions in 2024 from 40 items is 52.5%, and the number of LOTS questions contained in the Ministry of Religious Affairs Madrasah Aliyah Assessment exam questions in 2024 is 47.5%. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect al bahjah comic media to improvement Arabic reading skills student of grade VII at MTSs Perguruan Muallimat Jombang. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a research design only one group pretest posttest, which involves only one group. The research subjects consisted of 26 students grade VII Language I at MTSs Perguruan Muallimat Jombang. Sampling method used is purposive sampling. Data was collected through observation, tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysis used a paired sample t-test. The results of research analysis with the t-test obtained a sig value of 0.000, it is smaller than α, 0.05. And an average score in the pretest 55.85 and 74.00 in posttest, showing an increase of 41,111%. So, the conclucion of learning with al bahjah comic media has a significant effect on improving the reading skills of grade VII students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Perguruan Muallimat Jombang.
