Abstract

The price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) of oil palm is the price given to farmers who sell their FFB to Palm Oil Processing Plants (POPP), middlemen, and loading ramps. Alam Tuah Loading Ramp is one of the marketing entities similar to middlemen. Alam Tuah Loading Ramp sets the price of oil palm FFB, and there is a phenomenon of price fluctuations. This study aims to address the phenomenon of price fluctuations at Alam Tuah Loading Ramp, specifically to determine the conformity of the prevailing FFB prices with those set by the government, the extent of price fluctuations, and the factors influencing the price determination of FFB at Alam Tuah Loading Ramp. The study was conducted at Alam Tuah Loading Ramp, Janju Tanah Grogot Village Subdistrict, from January to March 2024. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data and information were collected using questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed using coefficient of variation (CV) analysis to determine the extent of price fluctuations. The study reveals that the price of oil palm FFB at Alam Tuah Loading Ramp does not align with the government-set price and is lower than the government-determined price. The analysis results show that the price fluctuation of FFB at Alam Tuah Loading Ramp reached 35% in 2022, 11% in 2023, and 27% over the period from 2022 to 2023. There was a higher fluctuation in 2022 compared to 2023 at Alam Tuah Loading Ramp. The price of oil palm FFB at Alam Tuah Loading Ramp is determined based on the price of FFB at POPP CBSS, operational costs, and profit margins.

Abstract

Language is something that humans have from birth, both verbal and nonverbal. Every child's language development is different. In the early stages, children will use simple words to express what they want to say. Late talker refers to delays the development of spoken language in children, including delays in understanding language, pronouncing words correctly, and the ability to speaking fluently. This study aims to: 1. Explore the phonological processes produced by late talkers; and 2. Explore the dominant sound errors that occur in late talkers. The samples were 15 late talkers aged 3-5 years. The method used qualitative, the data was collected by observation and using the PRAAT software to analyze the pronunciation errors. PRAAT is software written and maintained by Paul Boersma and David Weenink from the University of Amsterdam. The findings show that there are 26 processes, namely lateral substitution, flap substitution, palatal fronting, onset deletion, velarization, cluster reduction, velar fronting, approximats substitution, affricates substitution, devoicing, favorite sound, voicing, nasalization, consonant vowel interaction, nasal simplification, vowel lowring, other harmony patterns (labial targeting coronal, labial targeting dorsal, coronal targeting dorsal), /s/-clusters, harmony targeting coronal, positional variation, syllable deletion, fricativization, final consonant deletion, reduplication, coda cluster simplification, and vowel raising. Late talkers employ velar fronting (41%), lateral substitution (40%), and cluster reduction (19%). The conclusion from this research is that late talkers employ 26 different processes and the process preferred by late talkers is changing velar consonants (k, g, ŋ) into alveolar consonants (t, d, s, z, n, l, r).

Abstract

Home is a very crucial thing in human life. The growth and development of each individual and how they are formed at home determines their future lifestyle. As we know, the payment methods that have been applied to most developers are cash, in-house, and mortgage payments. The research method used by the author is the doctrinal legal research method or normative law, namely research that uses legislation, legal rules, and norms as sources of law related to the problems to be studied. The purchase agreement in the Civil Code is regulated in Book III on obligations (Van Verbintenissen) Chapter 5, so that buying and selling is an agreement. The legal analysis of in-house home credit schemes from the perspective of contract law reveals several key insights regarding their structure, risks, and the protection of parties involved. Continued legal oversight and potential reforms may further enhance the efficacy and integrity of these credit schemes in the real estate market.

Abstract

Bale kambang is one of the traditional architectural spatial concepts that is always present at the core of a palace or kraton. The concept of bale kambang is generally known as a water garden and is closely related to the influence of Hindu-Buddhist culture that developed in the Archipelago from the 4th to the 15th century. This research aims to examine the philosophical concept and the concept of Bale Kambang in the architecture of the Kanoman Palace, which is influenced by the remnants of Hindu-Buddhist, Chinese, and Islamic cultures. There are four processes of study in this research: first, a review of the philosophy of the water element in Hindu, Buddhist, and Islamic beliefs; second, a review of the architecture of water gardens and floating pavilions based on their history and development; third, a comparative review of several spatial patterns of floating pavilions in Javanese and Balinese palaces; fourth, an interpretation of the symbols and meanings of floating pavilions. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method, including literature study, field research, and interviews with experts in Cirebon history and culture. The research results show that the concept of Bale Kambang in the architecture of the Kanoman Palace is represented through two types of palace buildings, namely Witana and Bangsal Jinem. Each of these buildings has the symbol of Meru and a small pond adorned with coral stones as symbols of the sacred water element. Based on its history and development, the Bale Kambang of the Kanoman palace in Witana has a shape similar to the Bale Kambang of the Kasepuhan palace, while in the Bangsal Jinem, the Bale Kambang is represented on the sultan's throne as a place to receive honored guests. Based on symbols and meanings, the concept of the floating pavilion in the Kanoman palace reflects purity, harmony between humans and nature, and spirituality that connects the material and transcendental worlds. This symbolism enriches the identity that the floating pavilion is not always in the form of a building on a pond, but can be reflected by sacred objects considered as Mount Meru and the presence of water elements as a sacred medium, which altogether express the spiritual and cultural values in the Kanoman palace. This research is expected to contribute to enhancing understanding of the symbolism of the bale kambang concept, which reflects the historical and cultural dynamics of the Kanoman palace.

Abstract

This research analyzes the impact of delays in spare parts procurement on PT Sumberbumi Global Niaga's ship operations at PT Sumberbumi Global Niaga, one of the most important shipping companies in Indonesia, especially specializing in ship ownership and transshipment services. Company vessels are used in time charter voyages because the vessels are leased to shippers for individual voyages. Disruptions to spare parts procurement are notorious for their impact on the operating efficiency and effectiveness of these vessels, resulting in lower productivity, higher costs and potential safety hazards. The purpose of this research is to explore the reasons and impact of delays in spare parts procurement on PT Sumberbumi Global Niaga's fleet operations, such as ship downtime, preventive maintenance schedules, and general business results. It is hoped that the results obtained from this research will provide useful information for companies to improve the spare parts procurement process as well as reduce delays and improve operational performance.
