Abstract

The research aimed at describing; (1) the preparation of earning programs, (2) implementation of earning programs, (3) evaluation of earning programs, (4) earning support factors, (5) earning inhibiting factors, and (6) efforts / solutions regarding earning inhibiting factors. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive case study research. The results of this study are: (1) the preparation of earning programs using a dua curriculum namely K13 and KTSP, (2) the implementation of earning programs administratively using two curricula namely K13 and KTSP. However, due to the good condition of the school condition of the condition of the facilities and infrastructure and also the condition of the students so that the earning process is closer to using KTSP, (3) evaluation of the earning program conducted by the teacher there are two types of earning evaluation namely summative evaluation which is meant summative evaluation namely evaluation conducted by the teacher in order to determine the results and development or progress of student earning, and also in addition to summative evaluation the teacher also uses formative evaluation which is an evaluation conducted by the teacher in order to improve and enhance the earning and teaching process, (4) there are two factors supporting earning the first source is the school’s internal environment and also the school’s externa environment, (5) there are two factors that inhibit earning, the first is from the school’s internal environment and also the school’s externa environment, (6) efforts/solutions regarding earning inhibiting factors, there are two ways that schools do in dealing with earning barriers, namely depending on the source of the obstacle. Efforts or solutions made by schools in dealing with the ack of facilities and infrastructure is to ask for more hep from the government or the Office of Education

Abstract

This research aims to understand and explore the experiences of 1st grade elementary school students in using Quizizz as an interactive learning medium. Each student's learning experience can vary based on various factors such as individual preferences, learning methods, and their educational background. Therefore, the focus of this research is to understand more deeply how these students interact with Quizizz, starting from their level of motivation to their experience in practical use of this application as well as seeing how this tool influences their motivation, participation and academic achievement. This type of research is qualitative research with the research method used, namely descriptive. The data collection process is carried out through purposive sampling where the researcher decides to determine the individuals and locations to study and understand the central phenomenon. This research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Tonggalan Klaten, namely in class 1D with 1 teacher and 10 students. The data collection process was carried out using in-depth structured interviews with class 1D teachers. Next, for 10 students, a focus group discussion (FGD) was carried out which was divided into 2 sessions with each session consisting of 5 students. Using Quizizz as an interactive learning tool for 1st grade elementary school students provides a positive experience and has an impact on their learning motivation. Students enjoy the interactivity, variety of questions, and gaming elements offered by this platform. Positive impacts are also seen in increasing students' active participation, self-confidence and intrinsic motivation. From a teacher's perspective, Quizizz is considered effective in enhancing learning and providing a useful evaluation tool. Therefore, the integration of Quizizz in 1st grade elementary school learning can be considered a positive step to improve the quality of education through the effective use of technology.

Abstract

In the digital era, the leadership of school principals necessitates serious consideration to act as a catalyst for teachers adapting to changes. Principals must be capable of addressing the various challenges of education and transforming problems into opportunities to establish schools, that yield high-quality graduates. They must also generate creative and innovative ideas in their leadership role. There are several leadership styles that principals can adopt in the digital era, including authoritarian, democratic, laissez-faire, transformational, transactional, and authoritarian styles. This research aims to comprehend and describe the various challenges principals face in the digital era. It employed a qualitative descriptive approach and interview methods and was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Special Program Rabbani Karanganom, Klaten, Central Java. Interviews were conducted with the principal, ICT teachers, and a driving teacher. The research concludes that principals, as leaders, must confront various challenges in democratic and styles being the most dominant, in the digital era should provide comfort, with the democratic and transformational styles being the most dominant.  Digital leaders in schools should embody four main characteristics: problem-solving, collaboration, a love for learning, and a student-focused approach.

Abstract

Implementation of technology-based education financial management in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia can provide an effective solution for managing funds. however, the lack of education financial management is reflected in the use of applications that are not yet optimal, which results in the data collection, processing and data search processes being less efficient. this research aims not only to determine the capacity of Islamic boarding schools in Klaten in facing changes in digital-based education financial management, but also to describe and analyze digital-based education financial management at Islamic boarding schools in Klaten. the research method used is descriptive qualitative research. the results of this research show that Islamic boarding schools in Klaten have implemented digital-based education financial management with the syahriah application. the process involves planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring. the benefits of digital-based payments provide convenience for guardians of santri, including payment of tuition fees, top-ups, and monitoring of arrears. for treasurers/staff, using this application helps in checking, minimizing errors, providing payment notifications, and increasing the efficiency of financial reports. even though there are obstacles such as not understanding its use, outreach to student guardians and a quick response from BSI is a solution to these technical obstacles. the conclusion from this research is that the Islamic boarding school in Klaten has succeeded in implementing digital-based financial management providing significant benefits for student guardians and the treasurer/staff. even though there are technical obstacles, the solution presented is quite suitable.

Abstract

In the field of education, social media has a contribution to improving school branding. SMA Muhammadiyah 4 Bandung city took advantage of this opportunity as a means of promoting the school to make it better known to the wider community. The aim of this research is to determine the use of school websites and Instagram as promotional tools to improve school branding. This research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. he instruments used in this research were the principal, deputy principal for Student Affairs, deputy principal for Public Relations, website and Instagram admin. The results of this research are that schools utilize social media, especially websites and Instagram, optimally with comprehensive management; consist of good planning, clear organization, implementation that follows the school's agenda both intra and extra, as well as regular evaluation. The effectiveness of website and Instagram media can be seen from the number of views, likes, comments and additional followers from regular and continuous posts, which also has an impact on the top position in Google searches and the Instagram application. There are several obstacles in optimizing the use of school accounts, but there are future plans to develop and improve these social media accounts for optimal results in promoting school branding

Abstract

This article explores the Management of Merdeka Curriculum Digitalization at the Junior High School (SMP) level as a response to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The government and educational institutions are challenged to adapt to the new situation, including the development of online learning models. In this context, digital literacy is crucial, involving not only technical skills but also wise attitudes and behaviors towards digital information. The article highlights the importance of digital curriculum management to ensure education in line with the spirit of Merdeka Belajar. Challenges such as limited access to technology, teacher training, and the protection of student data privacy are addressed, with proposed solutions and implementation strategies. School principals and policymakers are expected to lead digital transformation in schools, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among schools, teachers, students, and parents. By understanding Merdeka Curriculum Digitalization Management comprehensively, it is expected to create an educational ecosystem that is adaptive, innovative, and responsive to technological developments.

Abstract

Education is vital in life. Educators must excel in their roles as leaders in formal education and perform well in their jobs. Any issues arising from these aspects will affect the assessment of a teacher's job performance in a school. This research aims to examine the influence of emotional intelligence, work-family conflict, and non-work presenteeism on teacher job performance at SMP-SMA Dian Harapan, Daan Mogot Jakarta. A questionnaire was distributed to gather data from 73 teachers. This study is quantitative research using path analysis as the analytical method. The results indicate that emotional intelligence has a positive influence (0,390) on job performance, while work-family conflict and non-work presenteeism have a negative influence (-0,030 and -0,293) on job performance.

Abstract

This research explains the harmonious relationship between the school principal, the school itself, and the community at SD IT Muhammadiyah Pangkalan Kerinci. The study aims to identify the strategies employed by the school principal in building harmonious relationship with the community. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method and an educational sociology approach. Data collection involves interviews, observations, and documentation. The research finding indicates that the school principal has successfully formulated effective strategies to build a harmonious relationship with the community through 1. Making collaboration the cornerstone of the principal's strategy, 2. Involving parents, teachers, and the community, 3. Mobilize the active role of teachers in strategic planning, and 4. Listen and create a positive learning environment.  This study provides a profound understanding of the importance of a harmonious relationship between the school and the community in enhancing educational quality, as well as the pivotal role of the school principal in creating a positive educational environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to decrypt the implementation of the Child Friendly School program and develop the character of students at SD Negeri 1 Pulaupanggung Tanggamus. This study provides a comprehensive overview of child-friendly school programs. The child-friendly program is not just a program at SD Negeri 1 Pulaupanggung but the importance of a child-friendly seklah program for student character building since elementary school. This study intends to find an overview of child-friendly school programs both in terms of supporters and obstacles.at SD Negeri 1 Pulaupanggung This type of research is descriptive qualitative in assessing field phenomena that occur. The implementation of child-friendly school programs is carried out by means of interviews, observations, and documentation. The implementation of child-friendly programs is carried out in 4 steps, namely: (1) Child-friendly school policy programs; (2) Educators and education personnel trained in children's rights; (3) Implementation of a child-friendly learning process, the application of non-violent discipline; and a safe, comfortable and clean school environment; (4) Student participation in learning. Child-friendly school policy programs include programs carried out in collaboration with students in the classroom, for example, teachers as role models should not commit violence against students or set an example in front of students. Educators and education personnel must understand the rights that must be obtained by students, if educators do not understand educators must attend related trainings. The implementation of child-friendly learning processes both in the classroom and outdoors is mandatory in accordance with the rules and policies of child-friendly school programs. Student participation in learning will increase because students feel safe and comfortable when studying so that achievements will be highlighted by students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling the learning environment at SMPN 1 Talang Padang. This research provides a comprehensive overview of the management of the learning environment and its impact on the student learning experience. It is important to understand that good learning environment conditions not only include physical aspects, but also involve interaction between teachers, students, and the surrounding environment.  This type of research is descriptive qualitative in examining field phenomena that occur. Data collection is carried out by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. The implementation of good management by the principal and human resources is carried out in 4 stages, namely: planning the learning environment management, organizing the management directing the management of the learning environment, and controlling the management of the learning environment. The planning stage includes improvements made by the principal by preparing a work program. Organizing is carried out by giving responsibility to subject teachers, homeroom teachers, TU staff, and ranks. The implementation of activities is carried out by all school residents in order to achieve the desired goals in accordance with the vision-mission in the school. Briefings are carried out by the principal to all school residents so that activities can run well. Controlling is a supervision carried out to find out the activities carried out both during KBM and activities related to administration that will support the sustainability of the school
