Abstract

This research explored how emotional intelligence impacts critical thinking disposition, considering the learning environment as a potential moderating factor. Employing a quantitative explanatory survey approach, the research engaged a accidental selected sample of 164 students from accounting education programs. Data collection was facilitated through Google Forms and analyzed using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The analysis revealed that emotional intelligence positively influences critical thinking disposition. Furthermore, it was found that the learning environment enhances the effect of emotional intelligence on critical thinking disposition. Therefore, enhancing students' emotional intelligence and cultivating a conducive learning environment can significantly bolster their critical thinking disposition.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze entrepreneurial interest in vocational students with gender as a moderating variable. According to Personality Theory, entrepreneurial interest can be predicted based on a person's personality traits. Entrepreneurial interest is essential for both male and female vocational students to prepare themselves for the future. Entrepreneurs have the potential to achieve financial success, build essential skills, and make a positive contribution to society. This research is quantitative. The population in this study is SMKN Kedawung, Jamblang and Susukan. The research data is primary data by distributing Likert scale questionnaires. The data analysis technique uses SEM_PLS to analyze data with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study: Gender affects the interest in entrepreneurship, The need for achievement affects the interest in entrepreneurship, Locus of control affects the interest in entrepreneurship, Need for achievement on the interest in entrepreneurship with gender as moderation no effect and Locus of control on the interest in entrepreneurship with gender as moderation no effect.

Abstract

Indonesia is a large country and has diversity in terms of ethnicity, religion, race, ethnicity, culture, language and so on. The pluralism of Indonesian society is a big challenge in maintaining unity and integrity. The world of education is one of the institutions that plays an important role in maintaining the integrity and unity of society through implementing the values of multicultural education in schools. multicultural education as a perspective that recognizes the political, social, and economic realities experienced by each individual in complex and culturally diverse human encounters and reflects the importance of culture, race, sexuality and gender, ethnicity, religion, social status, economics, and exceptions in the educational process. This research aims to get an in-depth picture of how multicultural education values are implemented in the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 7 Bekasi City. The approach used in this research is a qualitative research approach with the method used is a case study. In the qualitative approach, researchers used interview data collection techniques, observation and documentation studies at SMAN 7 Bekasi City schools, selecting informants using purposive sampling techniques. The results of the research is the school community's understanding of the concept of multicultural education is very good because the school community already understands the essence of the concept of multicultural education, namely education about the values of diversity that exist in society, including diversity of ethnicity, religion, language, race, culture, gender and including differences in socio-economic background.

Abstract

This research and development is motivated by because the LKPD teaching materials used to support accounting learning activities for service enterprise accounting at SMKN 1 Surabaya do not attract students’ interest in learning, are not based on problem based learning, and do not utilize electronic media such as smartphones or laptops. The use of interesting and creative teaching materials by utilizing technology can help understand the material and reduce boredom in learning. This study aims to develop E-LKPD based on problem-based learning, analyze the feasibility of E-LKPD based on problem-based learning, and analyze students' responses of using E-LKPD based on problem based and learning on service enterprise accounting for class X AKL at SMKN 1 Surabaya. Researchers used the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) research model developed by Branch. The results of this study are E-LKPD based on problem-based learning obtained an assessment from material experts reaching 90% with the category “very feasible”, an assessment from media experts reaching 95% with the category “very feasible”, an assessment from linguists reaching 99% with the category “very feasible”, and student responses after using teaching materials reaching 97% with the criteria “very understanding”. Therefore, E-LKPD is effectively used in the learning process.

Abstract

Several previous studies have established that entrepreneurship education has an essential effect on students' entrepreneurial interests. However, studies that combine entrepreneurship education, emotional quotient, and parental are still rare. Therefore, this study aims to inform whether there is a potential impact of entrepreneurship education, emotional quotient, and parental support on students' enthusiasm in entrepreneurship at university. A quantitative approach with correlational was employed in this study. The population is all students at Padang State University who are part of the entrepreneurship organization. The sample for this research is students who have taken entrepreneurship courses using a purposive sampling technique, totaling 138 respondents. Data was obtained from the results of the google form questionnaires. The following data analysis stage used SPSS v.22 to analyze the relationship between variables with multiple regression analysis. The analysis results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between entrepreneurship education and students' interest in entrepreneurship, there is a positive and significant impact between emotional quotient toward students' interest in entrepreneurs, and there is a positive and significant relationship between parental support on students' entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the mediating role of entrepreneurial attitudes on the relationship between risk-taking tendencies and entrepreneurial intentions by using family's background as a control variable. The theory used is the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The population amounted to 244 students so that the sample size used amounted to 152 students of economic education at the Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Data collection using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart PLS 3 because Smart PLS 3 can measure a small population. The results showed that the tendency to take risks has no effect on entrepreneurial intentions, the tendency to take risks has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial attitudes, entrepreneurial attitudes have no effect on entrepreneurial intentions, entrepreneurial attitudes do not mediate the effect of risk-taking tendencies on entrepreneurial intentions, and there are no significant differences in entrepreneurial intentions in terms offamily background.

Abstract

This research aims to improve creative and critical thinking skills in culturally rich Indonesian material by implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model for grade 4 elementary school students. This research method is classroom action research. Data collection techniques in this research are non-test techniques and test techniques. Non-test techniques include observation, questionnaires and interviews. All of the students in the class were the subjects of this classroom action research IV D of SD Negeri Pujokusuman 01, totaling 28 students, consisting of 14 female students and 14 male students. The results of observations and interviews found that after the treatment was carried out, students were able to find many problems and solutions from learning sources and in their own sentences. The results of the questionnaire data analysis showed that the ability to think creatively and critically had increased, from 69.7% in the pre-cycle, 73.4% in the first cycle to 83% in the second cycle. The results of data analysis using tests showed that the ability to think creatively and critically had increased, from 68% in the precycle, 77% in the first cycle to 84.5% in the second cycle. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the creative and critical thinking abilities of grade 4 students at SD Negeri Pujokusuman 01 on Indonesia Kaya Budaya in IPAS culture.

Abstract

This research seeks to examine how creative project-based learning outcomes and entrepreneurial activities influence students’ interest in entrepreneurial activities influence students’ interest in entrepreneurship by considering their internal locus of control at SMK Negeri 1 Surabaya. The research method used is quantitative with the type of explanatory research. Data collection using questionnaires and analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) with path analysis using SmartPLS 3.0 software the population was 160 students in class XI of the office management skills program with a sample size of 110 students who had taken Creative and Entrepreneurial Projects (PKK) according to independent criteria. The results showed that PKK learning outcomes have there is constructive correlation, albeit not statistically significant to entrepreneurial interest. PKK learning outcomes have a positive relationship, but not significant to the internal locus of control. The internal locus of control strongly correlates with entrepreneurial interest in a meaningful way. Internal locus of control cannot mediate the relationship between PKK learning outcomes with entrepreneurial interest.

Abstract

Geography education is an integral part of the education curriculum in Indonesia, especially at the senior secondary education level. This research is intended to find out how high school geography teachers who are members of the Subject Teachers' Conference (MGMP) in DKI Jakarta utilize various learning resources. The research method used was a survey using questionnaires to geography teachers. The respondents in this study were 15 people who were geography teachers from various high schools who were active in the DKI Jakarta MGMP. Data was collected through a questionnaire which included questions about the type of learning resources used, frequency of use, effectiveness according to teacher perceptions, and obstacles faced in using these learning resources. The analytical method applied in this study is the use of descriptive statistics. Based on research results, it shows that the majority of geography teachers use a variety of learning resources in teaching, including textbooks, digital materials, online sources, and other sources. This research provides valuable insights for improving curriculum and teacher training in the area of using learning resources in geography learning in high school. Thus, the use of learning resources by high school Geography teachers at MGMP DKI Jakarta highlights the importance of diversification, quality and accessibility of learning resources in improving the quality of Geography learning. Collaboration between the government, educational institutions and educational groups is needed to facilitate the use of diverse and quality learning resources for Geography teachers in DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' perceptions of environmental sustainability at the High School level. This research takes a case study at Adiwiyata School in a disaster-prone area of Banda Aceh City, Indonesia, that applied the concept of sustainability in the learning curriculum. The data was collected by using Middle School Environmental Literacy Survey (MSELS) instruments. These instruments are related to knowledge, concern, and attitude domains for analyzing high school students' perceptions. Data was collected by giving questionnaires to gather information about how students define sustainability. Data analysis was performed with a statistical percentage of questionnaire answers and open-ended questions about the knowledge of students' environmental issues and sustainability from a global perspective. The results showed that the most known environmental issues by students were environmental issues related to the effects of greenhouse gases and the effects of climate change. Based on the results of the study found that as many as 73% of students said they had heard the issue and could not explain it. The level of environmental concern of students within environmental issues is quite good. Students choose the form of environmental sustainability in terms of saving energy, recycling, and developing renewable energy sources.
