Abstract

This study aims to describe the impact of learning methods in online and offline entrepreneurship learning for Indonesian students with the constraint of regional disparities in accessing learning. Many online learning platforms have been widely used in recent years due to its benefits such as flexibility and accessibility. However, offline learning is more preferable for hands on skills development in entrepreneurship learning. In this study, we use quantitative methods approach by applying Chi-Square Analysis and the Wilcoxon SignedRank Test to analyse the data of the experiment which has been conducted by collecting the data of 172 students in 4 development regions of Indonesia. Although the learning methods in online have been increasingly popular, the result of this study shows that most of the students more prefer offline learning methods because of its interactive and hands on experience. The result of this study can be a reference for policymakers and educational institutes about the importance of both learning methods even how we can overcome the problem of connectivity in offline learning in various regions so that the entrepreneurial learning can be equally accessed by Indonesian students. In addition, this study also discusses the opportunity of Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen-AI) in entrepreneurship education for achieving the learning environment which is inclusive and promote equality among students.

Abstract

The method used in this research is development research or Research and Development (R&D) adapted and modified from Branch's ADDIE Model, which consists of five steps. This study aims to (1) describe the process of developing Focusky learning media for the subject of business entities in the Indonesian economy and (2) evaluate how well the media improves the critical thinking skills of high school students. The uniqueness of this study lies in the integration of Focusky a tool rarely explored in economics education with a structured instructional design to encourage critical thinking. In this study, questionnaires and observations were used as data collection methods. Eleventh-grade IPS students at SMAN Pakusari will be the subjects of the study for the product effectiveness test, which will be conducted using effect size calculations and the Paired Sample T-Test. IBM SPSS 29 is used to assist with data analysis in this research. The results show that the integration of Focusky media significantly supports the development of students' critical thinking. Through engaging visual content and interactive features, this media facilitates deeper understanding and active learning. These findings emphasize the potential of technology-based learning tools to enrich classroom experiences and promote essential 21st-century skills in economic education. From the results of the statistical research, it shows that the Focusky learning media is effective in improving students' critical thinking skills based on the significance values of the pretest and posttest from the small group (0.046 < 0.05) and the large group (0.049 < 0.05). The effect size test results for the small group received a value of 0.79 and for the large group received a value of 0.80. Both values indicate that the developed Focusky media has a significant impact on enhancing students'critical thinking.

Abstract

The creation of effective education can guide students to develop their potential optimally. The focus in developing this potential is to create individuals who are faithful and pious, physically and mentally independent, have noble character, are intelligent and talented, and are holistically healthy. However, there are still problems experienced by teachers related to rational decisions that should be taken. This study focuses on Economic Rationality in high school economics teachers. It is generally known that high school economics teachers should better understand the concept of rationality so that it can be applied in everyday life and used as a model for colleagues and students. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory type that analyzes the influence of Welfare, Economic Literacy, and Teacher Commitment on Economic Rationality with Professional Capability as a mediating variable. The population of this study was economics teachers at Senior High Schools (SMA) and Madrasah Aliyah (MA) in Regencies/Cities throughout East Java in 2024. Sampling using multistage random sampling showed a significant influence between Welfare, Economic Literacy, and Teacher Commitment on the Economic Rationality of Senior High School Teachers in East Java through Professional Ability as a mediating variable.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of financial literacy into education curricula, with a particular focus on Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum, using a bibliometric review of 316 peer-reviewed articles from the Scopus database (2016–2025). Through bibliometric mapping via VOSviewer, the research identifies five thematic clusters: policy development, behavioral outcomes, student knowledge and attitudes, digital financial literacy, and interdisciplinary education strategies. Key findings reveal a global surge in financial literacy research post-2016, largely driven by policy mandates and the rise of digital finance, with the United States leading in scholarly output. However, research remains heavily concentrated in high-income countries, while regions like Indonesia are underrepresented despite clear policy interest. The study uncovers several implementation barriers in educational settings, including limited teacher training, inadequate resources, and a lack of standardized evaluation metrics. Promising practices—such as project-based learning, the integration of financial literacy into mathematics, and digital tools—have demonstrated improved student engagement and financial behavior. In Indonesia, six core studies suggest a growing awareness of financial education but underscore the need for contextualized curricula and community-based support. The study recommends more inclusive policies, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and longitudinal impact assessments to ensure financial literacy becomes a core competency in global education systems.
