MUNAQOSYAH : Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan dan Pembelajaran adalah jurnal ilmiah yang dikelolah oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masuarakat (LPPM), Sekolah Tinggi Islam Blambangan (STIB) Banyuwangi. Jurnal berfokus pada pembahasan tentang isu-isu pendidikan dan pengajaran. Jurnal ini terbit dua kali dalam setahun yaitu di Bulan Mei dan November.

<![CDATA[To build and foster a modern society, education is a very important part as a medium for transformation of values, culture and knowledge. Therefore, the thinking and institutions of Islamic education must be modernized. The establishment of IAIN played a very important role in influencing the modernization of Indonesian Islam. He became the mouthpiece of progressive Islamic thinkers who managed to move the wave of Islamic thought productively. Meanwhile, the dynamics and dialectics between conservative romanticism that always look into the past, and progressivists who always want to reconstruct Islam into the future, are a latent agenda of Muslims throughout history. Finally, the modernization movement must be continuously carried out while still paying attention to the basic principles of Islam that already exist and are agreed upon so that they will have a positive impact on the progress of Islamic education.]]>

<![CDATA[Islamization of knowledge emerged when the first world conference was held on Islamic education in Mecca on March 31 to April 8, 1977 with the theme, "Basic for an Islamic Education System". The Islamization of science as one of the integration models is affirmed by Arqom Kuswanjono, that the best model of the relationship between science and religion is an integration model, of course when compared with the other three models, conflict, independence and dialogue. While in the Indonesian context, Mulyadi Kartanegara identified four types of Islamization of the knowledge practiced; integration of science and religion, modernization, "ayatisasi": Islamic Justification of Modern Science, and "Islamic cultivation": Scientification of Islam.]]>

<![CDATA[Islamic boarding schools are the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia and make important contributions in the socio-religious field. Islamic boarding schools as educational institutions are able to maintain and maintain their survival (survival system) and have multi-aspect education. Islamic boarding school education needs to be developed and adapted to what is set by "National Education" so that pesantren education graduates have a competitive and creative advantage in accordance with national and international education quality standards. As part of the community infrastructure, macro-boarding schools make the community aware of having idealism, intellectual abilities, and noble behavior (akhlaqul karimah) to organize and build a complete national characteristic. This can be seen from the strategic message of the pesantren which was developed in the internal culture of the pesantren education. The pesantren education system that has been maintained has turned out to have significant results in building an effective learning atmosphere and learning process. Being an obstacle to national education in rejecting changes in the era of technology and information requires the reconstruction of the national education system by looking at the needs of today's global society. Seeing the multiplicity of pesantren in people's lives, it cannot be denied that Islamic boarding schools have great potential to building a nation that is more moral, personable and knowledgeable. Seeing the condition of national education which unable to overcome social problems, pesantren appear in improving the weaknesses of national education and supporting national goals. Evidenced by the existence of community empowerment institutions that handle various community issues both in terms of economic, political, cultural and educational.]]>

<![CDATA[One of them is Tegaldlimo Banyuwangi TK At Toyyibatul Islamiyah educational institution which has succeeded in gaining public trust in the formation of children's character. Various programs of the kindergarten At Thoyyibatul Islamiyah educational institutions are very supportive towards the formation of children's character by internalizing the values of Islam in depth. For example children are introduced to the holidays of Islam and at the same time celebrate with selametan events which also involve the role of parents. Besides that they are also accustomed to pray in every activity carried out. Like prayer when learning will begin accompanied by prayer and prayer when going in and out of class. The school also cooperates with parents to internalize religious values early so that children are accustomed and firmly planted until someday and anytime. Good religious values related to faith, morals and worship. From some of the descriptions above, this study discusses how to internalize the values of Islamic religion in shaping early childhood with character in TK At Thoyyibatul Islamiyah with conclusions. From some of the descriptions above it can be concluded that the internalization of Islamic values to form early childhood character Atthoyyibatul Islamiyah kindergarten can be carried out with various strategies carried out by the teacher including strategies with exemplary, habitual, wise advice, by giving attention and punishment. The five strategies are carried out so that students have a quality character in terms of worship, behavior and socialization.]]>

<![CDATA[Educational management is the process of applying management principles and theories in managing activities in formal educational institutions to streamline the achievement of educational goals. The nuances of Islamic boarding schools which are arguably backward and difficult to open new breakthroughs as a renewal of the education system must be forced to make changes by incorporating Islamic Education Management. Application of management in the management of education in Islamic boarding schools, madrasah, universities must be supported by personnel resources and other resources that are used to realize the performance of high education organizations in order to achieve reliable quality graduates, mobilize these personnel there are elements of motivation, directing and leading them cooperate well and harmoniously. It must all be done in order to answer the challenges of the times like today. Islamic education management will not lose its function in humanizing humans because management of Islamic education is the most important part of managing education in introducing humans to worldly and religious values.]]>

<![CDATA[The role of Islamic Boarding Schools from hereditary in maintaining and strengthening Islamic literacy and building national moderation is very large and undoubted. It is evident from the existence of pesantren graduates who are easily accepted in the midst of society (Out Coming), and many Islamic boarding school alumni become determinants and changes to the real conditions of society, both in the order of worship, mua'amalah, aqidah, and other living rules. <![CDATA[Arabic is the core material in pesantren. Likewise also in the boarding school Mitra IAIN Purwokerto. The form of learning activities and presentation of the material is determined by the orientation of Islamic boarding schools to the understanding of Arabic itself. This paper discusses the Arabic language curriculum in Islamic boarding school students in Purwokerto with a focus on research objectives of learning Arabic, Arabic learning activities, and Arabic learning materials in five Islamic boarding schools namely Islamic boarding schools at Thohiriyah, Islamic boarding schools al-Hidayah, Islamic boarding schools and Najah, pesantren Qur'an al Amin, and Darussalam boarding school. After discussing and analyzing data, it can be concluded that two Islamic boarding schools still consider Arabic as a tool to understand the sources of Islamic studies, namely Islamic boarding schools at Thoriyah and Islamic boarding schools in the Qur'an Al-Amin. While the other three Islamic boarding schools namely al Hidayah boarding school, a Najah boarding school, and Darussalam boarding school combine basic Arabic (as a tool) and practical Arabic. However, all Islamic boarding schools have in common that is placing Arabic in their respective Madrasah Diniyah programs.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the role of character education in building the personality of students especially at Salem SMA I Salem. The method used in the study is qualitative. This type of research is field research, while the data collection technique uses interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: a. The existence of school activities that functioned for the formation of student character, the role of character education can be found in organizations and in extracurricular activities organized by SMA N 1 Salem b. The relevance of character education in building the personality of students, character education is very necessary to maintain the quality of the personality of students by providing understanding, direction, and assistance so that students display a good personality.]]>

<![CDATA[Portraits in schools still do not show the ideal ideals of education. Practices of violence often still emerge, not infrequently taking lives. Strategies of learning methods in schools must be conditioned towards peace. Creating an atmosphere as conducive as possible by seeking non-violence to minimize vertical-horizontal conflict. Education is a medium that is quite effective in efforts to transform all forms of study of peace. Through morally-spiritually enlightening education, violence can be prevented. The main foundation of pedagogic peace education is cooperative learning, democratic society, sensitivity to morals, and critical thinking. Furthermore, Islamic education, in this case, is intended to participate in taking part in efforts to minimize the potential for conflict - or even avoid sharp disputes - as a result of the inevitability of meeting global currents. This paper is an alarm ongoing with the real demand that education must develop, metamorphose into a better form.]]>

<![CDATA[Muta'alim Ta'lim Study of Values of Moral Education. The background in writing this scientific paper is education is something that must be taken by everyone. Existing education should be able to produce children who excel in the intellectual, emotional and spiritual. All education is important, but the author will explain about moral education, because according to the authors of moral education is the answer in solving the moral crisis in this nation. The problem of this writing is what are the values of moral education in the book Ta'limul Muta’allim in education today. The purpose of this study is to describe and know the values of moral education contained in the book Ta'limul Muta’allim. This research is a research library research. With the object of literature study material, primary and secondary sources from the book ta’limulmuta’allim. In the process of analyzing the author using Content Analysis in drawing conclusions using the deductive method, the results of this study indicate; moral education values in the book Ta'limul Muta’allim are divided into several points, namely morals to God, morals to humans and morals to science. It is very suitable if implemented in the world of formal education in Indonesia because it will form a virtuous national character.]]>
