Abstract

The aim of this study is to assess how the Islamic Religious Education Policy responds to the emerging challenges in the globalized era. Qualitative methods, centered on case studies, are employed for this research. During the research process, data collection is conducted through interviews, Observation and documentation were used as methods. Afterwards, the data was analyzed using three techniques: summarizing data, presenting data, and making conclusions while ensuring the validity of the data. Islamic Religious Education encounters various challenges amidst globalization, such as moral crises, insufficiently qualified teaching staff, inadequate welfare for educators, a cognitive-centric approach to learning, suboptimal madrasah management, and negative community perceptions towards madrasahs. To address these challenges, several strategies for Islamic Education are proposed, including the development of an Islamic education paradigm, the implementation of effective educational practices, the enhancement of teaching resources' quality, and the creation of education tailored to the characteristics of the millennial generation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Think-Pair-Share (TPS) dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang berfokus pada studi kasus. Menurut Lofland yang dikutip Lexy J. Moleong, dalam penelitian kualitatif, informasi utama diperoleh dari perkataan dan tindakan, sedangkan data seperti dokumen dan lain-lain dianggap sebagai data pendukung. Dalam perjalanan penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan peneliti melalui tiga cara yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Kemudian data yang telah terkumpul dianalisis oleh peneliti dengan menggunakan tiga teknik yaitu merangkum data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan serta memeriksa keabsahan data. TPS merupakan model pembelajaran yang efektif untuk mengembangkan pemikiran individu, meningkatkan partisipasi, dan memperkaya wawasan peserta didik. Guru dapat memodifikasi model ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Penggunaan media dan variasi kegiatan dapat meningkatkan minat dan motivasi. Model ini dapat dipadukan dengan metode pembelajaran lainnya untuk mencapai hasil yang optimal.

Abstract

The actions taken by clerics to strengthen Islamic education in certain areas, such as Hamlet 02 in Kota Baru Village, Padang Ratu District, Central Lampung Regency in 2023, are various efforts aimed at developing and improving understanding and religious practices among the local community. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts made by kiai in reviving Islamic education in hamlet 02 Kampung Kota Baru, Padang Ratu District, Central Lampung Regency. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Then proceed with analyzing the data through a system of data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the kiai's efforts in reviving Islamic education in hamlet 02 through TPA Pondok Pesantren Baitussalam, namely by holding activities, namely Riyadah, recitation of mothers, simaan al-Qur'an, and grouping the ability of students into various classes. And there are inhibiting and supporting factors, the inhibiting factor is the lack of desire and low awareness of the community to learn Islam, while the supporting factor is funding, financial support also comes from him to develop and revive Islamic education.

Abstract

Teachers are an important role in the teaching and learning process because they are responsible for training potential human resources in the field of development and development. All responsibility for teaching, guiding, directing, training, testing and evaluating students rests with the teacher. A learning strategy is a lesson plan used by teachers and students to achieve learning objectives. However, teachers can use various strategies depending on the methods they use. On the other hand, the way of strategy implementation can be determined by different learning strategies. This research uses qualitative research methods and types. The research location is the subject of the research activities. The location of this research is in MA Al-Manar, MA Al Manar is included in the auspices of the Al Karim organization which also has a school, Fathul Mubatdiin Muslim Boarding School and most of its students are santri in a pesantren. This research uses two data sources, namely primary data and secondary data such as the use of books, journals, articles and other research. Data collection techniques are done through interviews, documents and observations. Then the data analysis technique is carried out using data collection techniques, the reduction stage, the presentation stage and the conclusion stage. aspects that influence the determination of the form of teacher training for controlling student behavior, the researcher suggests that each form of training conducted at MA Al Manar by teachers does not necessarily decide which positive value activities are directly carried out, but rather determines the form of coaching activities, different things or aspects that influence. The results of the discussion show that the results of teacher training regarding controlling student behavior are inseparable from the emotional realm in the form of feelings, values, appreciation, enthusiasm, motivation and degree of attitude. But not completely, but only the emotional domain in the form of feelings, motives and attitudes.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, which is a new curriculum introduced by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia as part of efforts to recover the education system post-pandemic. The Merdeka Curriculum offers a more flexible approach to learning, providing freedom in managing the learning process to make it more comfortable, active, and enjoyable. In this context, Islamic Education, which previously tended to use lecture methods, now emphasizes student activity and provides broader access to various sources for learning materials. The research findings indicate that Islamic Education teachers have made various efforts to implement the Merdeka Curriculum. These efforts include building student activity through triggering questions and collaborative learning, creating teaching modules to facilitate the teaching and learning process, and implementing the Pancasila student profile. However, challenges faced include disparities between teaching materials, student abilities, and time allocation.

Abstract

Islamic education at SMPN 02 Abung Pekurun is often perceived as less engaging and fails to receive positive responses from students due to the limited creativity of teachers in utilizing instructional media. A quantitative study was conducted using a Quasi-Experimental approach to evaluate the effect of using the Wordwall website as a learning media in enhancing students' learning interest. The experimental group utilized Wordwall, while the control group employed conventional methods. The t-test results indicate a significant difference in students' learning interest, with the experimental group averaging 59.18 and the control group averaging 47.35. This finding reaffirms that the use of Wordwall can enhance the effectiveness of Islamic education, enrich students' learning experiences, and provide an engaging alternative through technology in the educational process. This research contributes significantly to the development of more innovative and technology-oriented teaching methods.

Abstract

Jika ditelaah mengenai sejarah antara sains dan agama, terdapat kitab suci yang dibumikan untuk memisahkan antara sains dan agama yang sempat menimbulkan kekacauan di berbagai bidang saat itu. Adanya perbedaan antara sains dan agama, disebabkan kesalahanpahaman dalam memahami ajaran agama Islam yang bersifat universal. Penyatuan sains dan agama sedang diupayakan khususnya di Indonesia pada bidang pendidikan. Pada pembahasan ini membahas “Bagaimana penerapan Grand Desain keilmuan untuk kemajuan UIN KH. Abdurrahman Wahid berdasarkan asas aksiologis?”. Tujuan dilakukannya kajian ini adalah sebagai tolak ukur bagi sebuah Lembaga Pendidikan dalam mengembangkan keilmuannya dengan kemajuan dalam bidang Pendidikan. Kajian ini penting untuk dilakukan untuk pengembangan keilmuan Universitas Islam Negeri KH. Abdurrahman Wahid dalam mencapai sebuah universitas yang lebih maju. Hasil dari kajian ini adalah pemanfaatan grand desain UIN Gus Dur dapat dilakukan dengan upaya dinamisasi pemikiran Islam sebagai upaya menginterpretasikan kembali ajaran-ajaran keislaman sedemekian rupa sehingga dapat lebih dinamis dalam merespon permasalahan keislaman yang kontemporer. Selain itu perlu adanya pemanfaatan fasilitas dan pemanfaatan perkembangan iklim untuk peningkatan kulitas Pendidikan dalam lingkup universitas.

Abstract

Schools often organize non-formal activities to enhance students' understanding of Islamic religious education, which often receives limited time in the classroom. This underscores the need for greater attention to religious education, as it is an integral part of the school curriculum. This research aims to evaluate the impact of extracurricular religious activities on students' understanding of Islamic Religious Education at SMP N 1 Padangratu Lampung Tengah. The method employed in this study is quantitative, utilizing data collection methods such as Observation, Documentation, and Questionnaires. Data analysis involves summarizing, presenting, drawing conclusions, and verifying data validity. The research findings indicate a significant correlation between extracurricular activities and the improvement of students' understanding of PAI, with an "r" value of 0.418, considered quite strong in the interpretation category.

Abstract

Memory ability plays an important role in achieving optimal results in cognitive aspects, especially in the context of education which is measured through learning achievement. One of the methods used to hone memory is through memorizing the Qur'an. A study was conducted to examine the effect of the ability to memorize the Qur'an on improving cognitive aspects in tahfidz class students at Bustanul Ulum High School in Central Lampung. The research method used was quantitative involving 33 participants. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires to assess the ability to memorize the Qur'an, and documentation of students' report cards. The results showed that the ability to memorize the Qur'an had a significant effect on improving students' cognitive aspects, with an R Square value of 29.7%. That is, about 29.7% of the improvement in cognitive aspects can be explained by the ability to memorize the Qur'an. Other factors outside the method of memorizing al-Qur'an also contribute to the increase.

Abstract

Islamic education faces great challenges in integrating religious values with modern science in the midst of rapid social and technological change. amid rapid social and technological changes. This research aims to formulate an Islamic education paradigm that is relevant and able to overcome the problems between science and religion. and religion.
