Akhlak: Jurnal Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Filsafat, Jurnal ini ditujukan untuk publikasi artikel ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Asosiasi Riset Ilmu Pendidikan Agama dan Filsafat Indonesia. Jurnal ini merupakan wadah akademik yang menggali konsep-konsep dalam bidang pendidikan agama Islam dan filsafat dengan fokus pada aspek akhlak (moralitas dan etika). Dengan menggabungkan perspektif keagamaan dan filsafat, jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan pemikiran-pemikiran mendalam tentang bagaimana agama Islam dan filsafat dapat membentuk karakter dan perilaku manusia. Artikel-artikel dalam jurnal ini mencakup berbagai topik, mulai dari teori-teori akhlak dalam Islam hingga penerapan praktisnya dalam pendidikan dan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penulis dalam jurnal ini mungkin membahas tentang konsep-konsep seperti akhlak al-Quran, akhlak Rasulullah, nilai-nilai moral dalam filsafat Islam, serta metode-metode pendidikan agama Islam yang bertujuan untuk membentuk karakter yang baik pada individu. Jurnal ini terbit 1 tahun 4 kali (Januari, April, Juli, dan Oktober).

Abstract

The development of social media in the digital era has a significant impact on the lives of students, both academically and morally. High levels of social media use are often accompanied by low self-control, potentially leading to impulsive behavior, digital addiction, and moral degradation. This study aims to analyze the effect of learning Aqidah Akhlak (Islamic Creed) on students' self-control in social media use. The method used was library research, reviewing various relevant literature in the form of books, scientific journals, and other academic sources. The results indicate that learning Aqidah Akhlak plays a crucial role in shaping spiritual awareness, strengthening the values ​​of patience, mujahadah an-nafs (self-control), iffah (self-control), and taqwa (obedience to God), which contribute to increased student self-control. By internalizing the values ​​of monotheism and morality, students are better able to use social media wisely and proportionally.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of parents in increasing the motivation to learn to read and write the Qur'an (BTA) at TPQ Babul Khair Abepura and analyze its impact on the children's abilities. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving teachers/ustadz, parents, and students as data sources. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, with its validity tested through source triangulation. The results show that the role of parents is crucial in enhancing children's learning motivation, both as educators, motivators, facilitators, and role models. Active parental involvement has proven to improve discipline, enthusiasm for learning, and children's achievements in reading and writing the Qur'an. On the other hand, a lack of parental involvement negatively affects children's motivation and abilities. The motivation provided by parents helps in the smooth reading of the Qur'an, understanding tajwid, and writing hijaiyah letters. In conclusion, the success of BTA learning is not only dependent on the process at TPQ but is also influenced by parental involvement at home. The synergy between the family and educational institutions is crucial in improving the quality of Qur'an learning and shaping a morally upright generation.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in cultural diversity, one of which is the Tedak Siten tradition that is still preserved by Javanese communities, including those in Bancar Village. This tradition is not merely a cultural heritage but also contains important educational and spiritual values in community life. This study aims to understand the meaning of the Tedak Siten tradition, identify the educational and spiritual values embedded within it, and analyze it from the perspective of Islam Nusantara. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, interviews, and documentation techniques, with informants selected purposively from community members directly involved in the tradition. The findings reveal that Tedak Siten functions as a medium for character education, instilling values such as independence, responsibility, and perseverance from an early age. In addition, the tradition strengthens spiritual values through prayers and expressions of gratitude to Allah SWT. From the perspective of Islam Nusantara, Tedak Siten reflects a harmonious acculturation between local culture and Islamic teachings without contradicting the principle of monotheism. The implications of this study indicate that local traditions can be utilized as contextual learning resources in Islamic education while also serving as a means of preserving valuable cultural heritage. Therefore, Tedak Siten remains relevant not only as a tradition but also as a medium for character building and strengthening religious values in society.

Abstract

Technology is currently developing rapidly, especially in social media, social media users have not yet implemented the importance of ethics in communicating with others. The main objective of this study is to analyze social media ethics in the perspective of the Qur'an, Surah Al-Isra, verse 36. The research method used is library research by collecting data, reading and analyzing from various sources. The findings at the time of the study were that many still have not implemented communication ethics on social media, such as using AI only for popularity, and implementing social media ethics by applying the principle of tabayyun and avoiding the spread of Hoax news on social media. The results of this study show the importance of implementing social media ethics in the digital world. From the analysis of the Qur'an, Surah Al-Isra, verse 36, it can be concluded that users must remain careful and vigilant with the information received or shared because everything seen, heard and that appears in the conscience will be asked for accountability in the afterlife.

Abstract

Throughout time, understanding Digital Literacy has often been limited to technical skills: being able to operate a computer, knowing how to find information on Google, or simply understanding how to use applications. Digital literacy is not only about technological expertise but also about ethical intelligence. Understanding literacy extends beyond knowing how to upload content; it also encompasses understanding the reasons and correct ways to share content so as not to harm others. This famous book, written by KH Hasyim Asy'ari, serves as the "main guide" in Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) on ethics between teachers (alim) and students (muta'allim). This title utilizes the principles in the book as a moral guide for behavior in the digital world. According to KH Hasyim Asy'ari, we are invited to view mobile phones not simply as tools, but as a place for interaction between individuals where norms of politeness and divine values are still applied. On social media platforms, our "speech" is represented by our finger typing. The Quran reminds us to always speak in a manner that is good and correct.

Abstract

The development of social media has made it easier to disseminate information, but it has also given rise to various problems such as hoaxes and misinformation that can lead to social conflict, division, and misunderstanding in society. In Islam, the concept of tabayyun is an important principle in receiving and conveying information. This study aims to analyze the role of tabayyun in addressing hoaxes and misinformation on social media from an Islamic perspective. The method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach through the study of the Qur'an, hadith, and various scientific sources related to social media and digital literacy. The results show that tabayyun plays an important role as a form of verifying information before believing and disseminating it to others. The application of tabayyun can increase critical thinking, moral responsibility, and social media ethics among the community. Thus, the values ​​of tabayyun are relevant to be applied in the digital era to create a social media environment that is healthier, safer, and free from the spread of false information.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology in the digital era has brought massive disruptions to all aspects of human life, including the educational paradigm and societal morality. Generation Z, as digital natives who grow up alongside these technological advancements, faces significant vulnerabilities regarding character degradation and moral decadence due to boundless exposure to global information. This research aims to critically analyze the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education in shaping and fortifying the character of Generation Z amidst the complexities of the digital landscape. The method used in this study is a qualitative literature review, which systematically synthesizes and analyzes twenty relevant academic sources. The findings indicate that Islamic Religious Education serves as an irreplaceable moral compass by internalizing the fundamental values of Tawhid and prophetic ethics. Furthermore, the integration of modern digital pedagogy with classical Islamic traditions, accompanied by the teacher's role as a moral exemplar (mu'addib), is crucial for effective character building. In conclusion, a collaborative educational ecosystem involving the family, school, and society is mandatory to ensure the continuous moral resilience of the younger generation in facing future technological disruptions.

Abstract

The phenomenon of cyberbullying and the spread of hoaxes among students has posed a significant threat to the ethics of the younger generation. Consequently, the education sector must take prudent action. The purpose of this study is to examine how the integration of digital ethics into the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum serves as an effort to prevent and address online behavioral violations. This research was conducted qualitatively using a desk study. Data were collected through documentary research of educational literature, Islamic moral values, and curriculum policies. In this analysis, a content analysis method was used to examine how Islamic concepts relate to the ethics of modern digital communication. The research indicates that the current PAI curriculum requires strengthening digital transaction materials through internalizing the principles of tabayyun (religious conduct) to combat hoaxes and the principles of akhlaqul karimah (good character) to reduce cyberbullying. PAI should not be limited to theoretical literature; instead, it should develop into a practical guide that helps people improve their digital lives. To create a safe and secure internet environment, the PAI curriculum must be aligned with critical digital literacy and the strengthening of religious character. It is hoped that this integration will provide students with a strong spiritual foundation to face the challenges of future technological disruption.
