Abstract

The main objective of this study is to determine how the quality of work life, empowerment, and public service affect the performance of employees at the Songgom District Office, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research uses a quantitative approach with the SmartPLS 3.2.9 analysis tool. The population used in this study consists of all employees working at the Songgom District Office, totaling 138 respondents. The sample in this study was selected using the Stratified Random Sampling method and calculated using the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample size of 103 respondents. Data collection was conducted by distributing questionnaires. The results of the path coefficients for direct and indirect effects show that the quality of work life variable has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, with a t-value t-table (11.660 1.96) and a sig value of 0.000. Empowerment does not affect job satisfaction, with a t-value t-table (0.506 1.96) and a sig value of 0.613. Public service has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, with a t-value t-table (5.536 1.96) and a sig value of 0.000. Job satisfaction does not affect employee performance, with a t-value t-table (0.313 1.96) and a sig value of 0.755. The quality of work life has a significant positive effect on employee performance, with a t-value t-table (3.655 1.96) and a sig value of 0.000. Empowerment has a significant positive effect on employee performance, with a t-value t-table (5.570 1.96) and a sig value of 0.000. Public service does not affect employee performance, with a t-value t-table (0.060 1.96) and a sig value of 0.952. The job satisfaction variable is not able to mediate the quality of work life, with a t-value t-table (0.059 1.96) and a sig value of 0.953. Job satisfaction is not able to mediate empowerment, with a t-value t-table (0.027 1.96) and a sig value of 0.979. Job satisfaction is not able to mediate public service, with a t-value t-table (0.039 1.96) and a sig value of 0.957.

Abstract

Keterlibatan warga negara merupakan gambaran peran aktif warga negara berpartispasi dalam kehidupan guna terciptanya perubahan pada masyarakat sebagai usaha memperbaiki kualitas kehidupan masyarakat. Dalam penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan metode kepustakaan dimana, Metode penelitian kepustakaan adalah teknik pengumpulan data dan informasi dengan cara menelaah berbagai buku, literatur, catatan dan laporan yang berhubungan dengan masalah yang akan dipecahkan. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan (PKn) memiliki peran krusial dalam pembangunan negara yang berkelanjutan. Pendidikan kewarganegaraan memainkan peran yang sangat penting dalam pembangunan negara yang berkelanjutan. Berikut adalah beberapa alasan mengapa pendidikan menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan warga negara yang cerdas, terampil, dan bertanggung jawab. Dengan mengembangkan kompetensi kewarganegaraan, mengembangkan keterampilan partisipasi sipil, pembentukan karakter warga negara, serta memenuhi tiga aspek penting (pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pembentukan karakter).

Abstract

Religious moderation is the most important key in maintaining harmony and harmony in a diverse society to prevent radicalism. Religious moderation and tolerance are two different and different things. Religious moderation is a path that consists of several stages that must be passed, while tolerance is the result of the stages that have been passed before. From religious moderation, an attitude of tolerance will be formed between fellow human beings, so that harmony between religious communities will be created which will later function to strengthen the unity and unity of the Indonesia nation. Humans are required to interact to meet their needs in society. Relations between religious people are based on the principle of good brotherhood, working together to face enemies and defending those who suffer. Religious harmony is needed in establishing good relationships in community life. In this context, it is discussed that this research is an inculcation of the value of tolerance between religious communities.

Abstract

This research aims to knowing how the police handle the crime of theft of two-wheeled motorized vehicles is the aim of this investigation (Study at the Munte Police). Munte Police, located in Singgamanik Village, Munte District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra, is the location for this research. Qualitative descriptive research methodology was used in this research. Five members of the Munte Police and two residents of Munte Village were the five research subjects in this study. Primary and secondary data are two types of data used in research. The data analysis method uses interactive analysis stages, including data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the findings of the study, Munte Police use punitive and preventive measures in an effort to stop people from stealing two-wheeled motorized vehicles. The preventive efforts carried out by the Munte Police include integrating security with the community in the Munte District area, improving police performance through implementing a term evaluation system, and making banners that urge the public to be more careful and alert in all their actions. Munte Police conduct regular and sporadic raids in areas with high crime rates as part of its repressive measures, including by imposing punishments on perpetrators of theft of two-wheeled motorized vehicles. The Munte Police are making every effort to tackle the crime of two-wheeled motor vehicle theft that occurs in the Munte District area. The main aim is to reduce the quantity of these crimes and enable people to live safely and peacefully.

Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises are businesses that can help neraga in improving the community's economy, reducing unemployment so that the government is now very enthusiastic in supporting the development of MSMEs. It is inseparable from the local government of Medan City which motivates business actors in using digitalisation in every sector in running a business so that it can develop not only at the national level but even at the international level. This research was conducted in Medan City with the variables used were Scale of Business, Finalcial Technology with Knowledge Management as the mediating variable on digital-based accounting of MSMEs. The population in this study were MSMEs under the guidance of the Medan City UKM cooperative office which already had a Business Identification Number of 488 businesses with a sampling method using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 5%. The analysis model used to test the hypothesis in this study is multiple regression analysis using the Smart PLS application. multiple regression analysis is a statistical method used to determine the magnitude of the influence between independent variables. Indirectly Scale of Business Mediates Financial Technology, on Digital-Based Accounting, Indirectly Scale of Business does not Mediate Knowledge Management, on Digital-Based Accounting, Directly Scale of Business, Financial Technology, Knowledge Management, have a significant effect on Digital-Based Accounting, Directly, Financial Technology has a significant effect on Scale of Business, Directly, Knowledge Management does not have a significant effect on Scale of Business micro small and medium enterprises in Medan City.

Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) sangat berperan sekali dalam kemajuan perekonomian masyarakat indonesia. UMKM juga berperan dalam memeratakan dan meningkatan penghasilan pelaku UMKM, menyokong pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan terciptanya keseimbangan Negara. Usaha  Mikro  Kecil  Menengah  di  desa Sei  Suka  Deras memiliki  banyak  potensi  untuk  memperoleh  tingkat keuntungan  yang  cukup  tinggi. Namun,  disayangkan  masih adanya keterbatasan akses internet dan pengetahuan teknologi sehingga memerlukan pengembangan UMKM yang harus kuatkan kembali. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengembangan UMKM yang berbasis media social di desa Sei Suka Deras. Metode  yang  dilakukan  dalam  kegiatan  pengabdian  ini  adalah dengan  cara Pengamatan,  observasi  serta  wawancara  kepada  para  pelaku  UMKM. Berdasarkan hasil observasi penulis, Desa Sei Suka Deras masih ada tatangan dalam akses internet dan pengetahuan teknologi bagi masyarakat setempat, namun adanya peran pemuda yang membantu mempromosikan UMKM masyarakat agar lebih dikenal, sehingga sudah sebagian UMKM di desa Sei Suka Deras yang memanfaatkan platform media social untuk mempromosikan produk mereka.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see the effectiveness of implementing Kahoot-based interactive quiz learning media in increasing interest in learning history in class XI Komet students at SMA Negeri 2 Medan. The method used in this research is classroom action research (PTK) methodology which consists of II stages (Cycles) using a quantitative approach. Questionnaires and observations are data collection instruments (techniques) that are used to see the level of students' interest in learning after using the Kahoot quiz learning media. The population taken was students from SMA Negeri 2 Medan with a sample of class XI Komet students consisting of 36 students consisting of 10 male students and 26 female students. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it is known that the results of the analysis of observation and questionnaire data in stage I which was carried out on 09 August 2024 obtained a percentage of 72.69% and in stage II which was carried out on 12 August 2024 it increased by 89.40%.  Based on the conclusions that have been produced, the researcher states that the use of Kahoot-based interactive quiz learning media has been proven to stimulate and foster students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan manusia. Pendidikan formal, seperti yang ditemukan di sekolah atau perguruan tinggi, tidak selalu menjadi sumber pendidikan. Baik pendidikan nonformal maupun informal turut andil dalam pembentukan kepribadian seseorang, khususnya pada remaja atau pelajar. Kementerian Agama, khususnya, didorong oleh situasi unik Indonesia terkait suku, agama, dan ras untuk terus berupaya menjaga kerukunan umat beragama dan persatuan Indonesia dengan membangun konsep "Moderasi Beragama". Gagasan moderasi agama adalah menjaga keharmonisan komunitas agama. Desa Teluk yang berada di Kecamatan Secanggang, Kabupaten langkat merupakan desa dengan tingkat mayoritas masyarakat beragama Islam. Kelompok KKN 173 UINSU 2024 meninjau adanya perbedaan suku dan agama di sekolah SMK Maju Secanggang, dengan tingkat minoritas umat Kristiani yang berada di wilayah Muslim. Adanya perbedaan yang sangat signifikan di SMK Maju Secanggang Desa Teluk, membuat kelompok KKN 173 UINSU 2024 berupaya untuk menjaga kesatuan dan persatuan masyarakat kecil antar agama di Desa Teluk, tepatnya di SMK Maju Secanggang. Berdasarkan kegiatan penyuluhan yang telah dilaksanakan, kelompok KKN 173 UINSU 2024 menyimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar pemahaman siswa/i yang baik terkait tentang moderasi beragama. Namun, masih ada beberapa siswa yang sulit membedakan antara toleransi dan toleransi yang berlebihan. Selain itu, guru agama masih menghadapi tantangan dalam mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moderasi ke dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi peran sosial dan budaya Istana Maimun, sebuah bangunan bersejarah ikonik di Sumatera Utara, dalam konteks masyarakat modern. Istana Maimun, yang awalnya berfungsi sebagai pusat pemerintahan Kesultanan Deli, telah mengalami transformasi menjadi destinasi wisata budaya dan pusat edukasi. Studi ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus untuk memahami perubahan fungsi bangunan ini dan bagaimana ia berperan dalam pelestarian warisan budaya Melayu. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Istana Maimun tidak hanya menjadi simbol kejayaan masa lalu tetapi juga berfungsi sebagai sarana edukasi, pelestarian budaya, dan interaksi sosial bagi masyarakat setempat. Peran ini diperkuat melalui kegiatan budaya dan edukatif yang memperkuat identitas sosial masyarakat di tengah arus perubahan sosial. Transformasi Istana Maimun mencerminkan adaptasi yang berhasil dalam mempertahankan warisan budaya Melayu di era modern.
