Tarbiatuna: Journal of Islamic Education Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Department of Islamic Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in April and Oktober. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The Journal focuses on issues found in the field of Islamic Education, both as material objects and or as formal objects. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the disciplines of Islamic education in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

This research aims to find out how the combination of the Al-Azhar Curriculum with the independent curriculum in an educational institution, especially the impact it has on student intelligence, of course there are several schools that use an integration basis between the two. One of these educational institutions is MTs Ilmu Al-Karimiyyah Kebasen which seeks to discover new innovations in developing new curricula. In this research, a qualitative approach is used, a descriptive type of analysis, which will provide a description of narrative data related to the process of adopting an adaptation model for the integration of the independent curriculum and the Egyptian Al-Azhar curriculum in religious learning activities at MTs Ilmu Al-Karimiyyah Kebasen. The objectives of this research are: a. To analyze how the integration and implementation of the Merdeka curriculum model and the Egyptian Al-Azhar Curriculum are carried out at MTs Ilmu Karamiyyah Kebasen. b. To analyze how to adopt and adapt the two curricula. c) to explain the impact that occurs on students both from inhibiting and supporting factors in implementing the model between the two curricula. The results of this research conclude that the integration model in PAI learning between the Merdeka and Al-Azhar Egyptian curricula takes the form of a merger of the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Religion. As well as the supporting factors for this integration, namely the horizontal and vertical coordination of the Kamad and the teachers' council, the Kamad's innovation ideas, the committee in this case completely supports the madrasah in its policy of finding innovation in curriculum development. The inhibiting factor is limited ability to speak Arabic due to limited understanding of language skills and education.

Abstract

This article discusses the implementation of inclusive education policies at SMK Tujuh Lima 1 Purwokerto as a solution to reduce anomie behavior among students and enhance their emotional well-being. Anomie, characterized by norm uncertainty and deviant behavior, can be caused by various factors such as family, community, and school environments. By implementing inclusive education that emphasizes equality and acceptance, schools can create a learning environment that supports all students, regardless of their background. Religious education programs, social and emotional learning development, and counseling services are some of the approaches implemented to address anomie and improve student well-being. Research findings indicate that inclusive policies have successfully reduced anomie behavior and increased student engagement with the school, creating a more positive learning atmosphere.

Abstract

Effective negotiation strategies are essential in managing conflicts within educational organizations. This paper explores two primary negotiation strategies—integrative negotiation and participative leadership—that play pivotal roles in conflict resolution. Integrative negotiation focuses on finding mutually beneficial solutions, emphasizing the importance of understanding the underlying interests of all parties involved, fostering long-term relationships, and promoting cooperation. On the other hand, participative leadership encourages active involvement from all members in the decision-making process, creating a sense of shared responsibility and ownership. This approach not only facilitates conflict resolution but also enhances creativity, trust, and commitment among stakeholders. Both strategies, when applied effectively, contribute to a more harmonious and productive environment, enabling educational organizations to achieve their collective goals. The combination of integrative negotiation and participative leadership offers a comprehensive framework for conflict management, fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual respect within the organization.

Abstract

This writing discusses the utilization of social media, focusing on the case study of Jerome Polin, a YouTuber who has successfully conveyed Indonesian culture in Japan with 10.5 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. In the context of globalization and the advancement of information technology, platforms like YouTube have become essential tools for sharing knowledge and culture. Jerome Polin, known for his content, not only entertains but also educates his audience about Indonesian culture, language, and daily life while studying in Japan, where he earned his bachelor's degree before returning to Indonesia as a famous YouTuber. This research analyzes Jerome's profession as a YouTube content creator, which he has turned into a source of income, the communication strategies he employs, the impact of his content on cultural understanding, and the interactions that take place between Japanese and Indonesian communities through social media. Using a qualitative approach, this study aims to provide insights into the role of influencers in introducing and promoting culture in the digital era, as well as the challenges faced in preserving cultural authenticity amidst the currents of globalization. The results show that Jerome Polin has successfully educated his audience while simultaneously strengthening intercultural relationships through innovative and creative approaches.

Abstract

Research on muhkam and mutasyabih verses in the Qur‘an has been widely carried out. However, no research looks at the theological aspects historically on the implications of understanding the two forms of the verse. The muhkam verse which is qath‘i dalalah implies the birth of the basic aqidah. While the mutasyabih verse which is zhanni dalalah has implications for the birth of a branch aqidah. Based on the different understandings and interpretations of the two, the historical facts of Muslims have given birth to various opinions and schools of thought. Inevitably also cause a crisis because of cross opinion. The verse mutasyabih is misinterpreted with a narrow understanding and one interpretation. While the muhkam verse is the basis for its legitimacy. There needs to be a broad perspective in dealing with this problem. Muslims who are plural and have different intellectual capacities must be able to cultivate an attitude of tolerance for different views. The paradigm of fanatical thinking must be abandoned over branch issues. Unity must be prioritized as a starting point in building the people in pluralism. This article will examine these issues. This research is library research by looking at the historical facts that exist and using clear literature. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytical and comparative so that it can reveal the mistakes that occur among the people and see the actual comparison. The goal is to create a sense of tolerance for differences and uphold the values of equality and unity among the people.

Abstract

Development of Canva-Based Animation Video Media Using the ADDIE Model in Science Learning to Improve the Learning Achievement of Class V Students at SD Negeri 2 Yehembang Kauh. The aim of this research is to determine media design, media validation, media practicality, and the effectiveness of Canva-based animated video media on the Let's Get to Know Our Earth material. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) research and the model used is the ADDIE Development model. The ADDIE Development Model has several stages, namely analysis. This product was validated by 1 media expert, 1 material expert, 1 class teacher and 13 grade 5 students. In the initial stage, validation tests were carried out by media experts, material experts and teachers. Then test the effectiveness of the media in the form of pretest-posttest and validation tests by students. The validation results show that media experts obtained an average of 80% which is included in the Valid and Appropriate criteria, for validation results material experts obtained the Very Valid and Appropriate category, with results of 83.3% and student response tests and teacher responses obtained respective results of 89% and 81.8% are included in the feasible and practical criteria. The test results show that the overall average increase in learning achievement results obtained by students is 20%. It can be concluded that this animated video product based on the Canva application can improve student learning achievement in the science learning process at SD Negeri 2 Yehembang Kauh.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of Indonesian and Gen Z languages ​​among teenagers in the song "Komang" by Raim Laode. This song was chosen because of its popularity among teenagers and the use of interesting language, namely a mixture of Indonesian and Gen Z languages. The research method used was content analysis with a qualitative approach. Research data in the form of the lyrics of the song "Komang" were analyzed to identify the use of Indonesian and Gen Z languages, as well as the meaning and function of the use of these languages. The research results show that the song "Komang" uses both types of language creatively and effectively. Indonesian is used to convey the main message of the song, namely an expression of love and admiration for someone named Komang. Meanwhile, Gen Z language is used to create a familiar, relaxed and contemporary impression, so that this song is more easily accepted and understood by teenagers. Gen Z's use of language also functions as identity and self-expression for teenagers, as well as strengthening feelings of connection between generations. The conclusion of this research is that the song "Komang" successfully combines Indonesian and Gen Z languages ​​in its lyrics, thus creating a work that is relevant and attractive to teenagers. This song also shows that language can be a bridge between generations, as well as an expression of identity and creativity.

Abstract

This study examines the role and impact of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the context of formal and non-formal education. Technology, broadly defined as a symbol of knowledge and a means by which humans build civilization, is now intrinsically linked to computer hardware and software in the realm of information. In formal education, ICT has transformed teaching and learning methods through online platforms such as Zoom and Google Classroom, accelerating learning processes, expanding access to diverse learning resources, and supporting distance learning, particularly during the pandemic. Nevertheless, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, varying user preferences, and alignment with local values remain obstacles. On the other hand, in non-formal education, ICT acts as a key facilitator in providing access to digital skills training relevant to the job market, promoting self-directed learning through online platforms, and strengthening digital competencies. A case study at LPK Anita illustrates how the adoption of modern technology can enhance administrative efficiency, improve learning quality, and create entrepreneurial opportunities. However, non-formal education also faces similar challenges, including limited infrastructure, a lack of human resource competence, insufficient funding, and suboptimal strategic management. This study concludes that ICT is an essential effort to deliver information and optimize learning, but its successful implementation heavily depends on proactive management of the various existing barriers.

Abstract

Curriculum policy in Indonesia continues to transform dynamically in response to the challenges of globalization and the demands of internal reform. This study aims to analyze the evolution of national curriculum policy in the post-reform era and examine the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) as well as the integration of Deep Learning as adaptive strategies for addressing the complexities of the 21st century. Utilizing a literature review method, this research synthesizes data from laws and regulations, government policy documents, and various relevant scientific articles. The analysis reveals that the evolution of the curriculum from the Competency-Based Curriculum (KBK) of 2004 to the Kurikulum Merdeka represents a logical journey from a centralized paradigm to full decentralization and autonomy. The Kurikulum Merdeka, grounded in the philosophies of humanism, social constructivism, and local wisdom, emerges as a response to the need for more personalized and contextual learning. Furthermore, the integration of Deep Learning through content development, technology-based projects, and industry collaboration is identified as a strategic step in equipping students with digital competencies relevant to the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is concluded that this adaptive curriculum policy has significant potential to enhance national competitiveness; however, its success heavily relies on the education system's ability to overcome fundamental challenges such as equitable infrastructure quality and the continuous improvement of teacher capacity.

Abstract

                Communication technology has become an integral part of education, especially as a learning media that supports the effective and efficient delivery of materials. This study aims to identify and analyze various types of communication technology used as learning media in formal educational settings. The research method employed is a literature review with a descriptive approach, examining reliable sources related to the development of communication technology and its application in learning. The results indicate that commonly used communication technologies as learning media include video conferencing software (such as Zoom and Google Meet), online learning platforms (such as Moodle and Edmodo), social media (such as WhatsApp and Telegram), and interactive multimedia technology. Each type of technology has its own advantages and disadvantages in supporting the learning process, depending on the context and needs of students and teachers. In conclusion, selecting appropriate communication technology can enhance learning effectiveness and facilitate interaction between teachers and students, making the learning process more engaging and meaningful.
