Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are educational institutions that make a real contribution to society, with all their advantages and disadvantages. Each Islamic boarding school has a distinctive character, both in cultural, institutional and scientific excellence aspects. This research aims to investigate and optimize the mental quality of student learning at Mahad Aly Nurul Jadid through a holistic approach. This research methodology involves surveys, interviews, and observations to gain an in-depth understanding of the students' mental learning conditions. The research results show that a holistic approach that includes physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects can contribute significantly to improving the mental quality of students' learning. Efforts to optimize the mental quality of learning involve developing holistic mental development programs, improving facilities, and creating an environment that supports the psychological well-being of students. The implication of this research is that a holistic approach in developing the mental learning of santri at Mahad Aly can be the basis for creating a more balanced educational environment and supporting the optimal growth of santri in cognitive, emotional and spiritual aspects. It is hoped that this study can contribute to the development of mental learning development strategies in similar institutions and enrich the literature on holistic Islamic education.

Abstract

The role of the leader is very important in the progress of an institution or agency. The leader is the driving force of all sources in an institution or agency, therefore the leader must have a good leadership capacity so that the goals of the institution or agency can be achieved. The focus of this research is how to implement prophetic leadership in improving the quality of education at MI Al-Husna Dawuhan Krejengan. The purpose of this study is to find out how the implementation of professional leadership in improving the quality of education at MI Al-Husna Dawuhan Krejengan. This research uses a qualitative approach method of case study type, which is located prophetically in MI Al-Husna Dawuhan Village, Krejengan District, Probolinggo Regency- East Java. The source of the data is the informant. Using primary and secondary data with data collection techniques through observation and interviews. The results of this study that the basis of the leadership of the Prophet applied by the head of the MI Al-Husna Dawuhan Krejengan madrasah is based on the mission of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, namely: the mission of humanization, the mission of liberation, the mission of plurality and tolerance, and moderation. The application of these 4 missions is carried out by applying the 4 qualities of the Prophet and Apostle, namely sidiq, amanah, tabligh and fathonah

Abstract

Efforts to form human beings with good morals are the goal of education in general, especially Islamic boarding schools. Implementation of akhlakul karimah through the habit of Boso Kromo in communicating well among students, will be able to help the students themselves in communicating with others and can make the good name of the alma mater they bear. Meanwhile, at the Darun Najah Islamic Boarding School, Petahunan Village, Sumbersuko District, Lumajang Regency has implemented procedures for having good morals through the habit of boso kramo in communicating, both to caregivers, teachers and friends and even family. This can be attempted through direct examples from caregivers and teachers who are exemplary figures in the pesantren. But in reality there are still some students who have difficulty communicating using Boso Kromo because of the limited vocabulary of Boso Kromo words that are known by students. The purpose of this study was to find out how to implement Akhlakul Karimah through the habituation of Boso Kromo in communicating among Santri. In order to collect data, the authors use observation techniques, interviews and data analysis.

Abstract

This research is to determine the impact of the implementation of social media as a learning media in particular. Field facts where the use of social media in the form of the internet in Indonesia shows that the development of technology has progressed rapidly. Not a few schools and universities in Indonesia that utilize technological advances as one of the media in learning, one of which is Islamic religious education. The author then by applying qualitative method, with a literature study examines the impact of the use of social media in learning Islamic religious education, both about positive and negative effects. This is also motivated by the use of social media which is recently used by students. Social media has a positive influence on socialization among its users but can also have a bad effect in real life. This then causes changes in the ability of children in learning and understanding the teaching material of Islamic religious education, both in the form of academic abilities or personality.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of participatory management in improving community welfare in Pematang Serai Village. Through a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, this study found that community participation in the decision-making process and implementation of local development programs contributed significantly to improving welfare. Such participation builds community belonging, involvement, and capacity, and strengthens relationships between village government and communities. However, challenges faced include lack of awareness, cultural and structural barriers, and limited resources. Recommendations were given to strengthen community capacity, increase understanding of the benefits of participation, and strengthen cooperation between village government and communities. This research provides guidance for policymakers in designing inclusive, participatory, and sustainable development programs.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out and describe (1) the concept of implementing full day school management in strengthening the values of Islamic education in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Denpasar, (2) inhibiting and supporting factors, (3) solutions to overcome obstacles. Descriptive research method with a qualitative approach, data collection, observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research that; (1) the concept applied at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Denpasar is full day school with a focus on strengthening the values of Islamic education. Implementation of full day school by strengthening the values of Islamic education aims to make students have good morals and character through habituation, daily prayer and dhikr, dhuha prayer, recitation, and obligatory prayer in congregation, (2) the inhibiting factor is the input variety, location and school regulations. The supporting factors are the support from teachers, parents, and the organization, and (3) intense coaching is provided by bringing in special ustadz and ustadzah to teach students to recite and memorize the Quran (tahfidz), carry out daily worship habits, increase activities that breathe Islamic education, build good communication and cooperation with parents of students. The conclusion is that the full day school concept applied is a full day school with the strengthening of Islamic educational values implemented through various habituation activities. Various inhibiting and supporting factors arise from within and outside, but can be overcome with solutions in the form of coaching and communication.

Abstract

The aim of the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka policy is to encourage students to master various fields of science with their areas of expertise, so that they are ready to compete in the global world. This policy gives students the opportunity to choose the courses they will take based on their own wishes. The implementation of the Independent Campus Learning policy encourages the learning process in higher education to become more autonomous and flexible. Education always strives to create students who always make updates all the time. Not only highly educated but able to be an agent of change in small and large scopes. The resulting changes and innovations are able to provide maximum contribution to the progress of a nation so that it has quality human resources. In writing this article, we used qualitative research methods and approaches with the type of library study. The learning process on an independent campus is one manifestation of student-centered learning which is very essential. Learning on an independent campus provides opportunities as well as challenges and opportunities for developing innovation, creativity, capacity, personality and student needs, as well as developing independence in seeking and finding knowledge through the realities and dynamics of the field such as ability requirements, real problems, social interaction, collaboration, management self, performance demands, targets and achievements. Through the Merdeka Belajar program which is well designed and implemented, students' hard skills and soft skills will be formed strongly. However, a curriculum that is considered to be able to develop student capacity has challenges that must be faced and prepared for by the implementing agency Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Among the opportunities for implementing BMKM are collaborative learning-based learning, encouraging opportunities for cooperation and fostering a sense of diversity in accordance with the mandate of Pancasila as the basic norm of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI). The challenges are technical, namely the established program implementation mechanisms, accessibility of information and communication technology and human resources (HR). Talking about the accessibility of information technology is closely related to the thinking patterns of generation Z.

Abstract

Madrasah is one of Islamic education institutions that develops in Indonesia cultivated in addition to mosques and boarding schools. In the process of learning Islamic Education in madrasah, learning activities cannot always run smoothly. So students seem slow to do tasks related to learning activities. This learning difficulties are already a common problem that occurs in the learning process. The phenomenon of learning difficulties, especially the subjects of Fiqh experienced by students at Darul Lughah Wal Karomah Islamic Senior High School usually seems clear from the decline in academic achievement or learning achievement. To prevent and overcome the causes of student learning difficulties, one alternative that can be taken in overcoming learning difficulties is to conduct remedial teaching. The results of this study are as follows; (1) The causes of learning difficulties faced by students in Fiqh at Darul Lughah Wal Karomah Islamic Senior High School subjects include; The language of the teacher is poorly understood by students, poor psychology or mental atmosphere of the students, and the unrelevant motivation from the teachers to the students. (2) The implementation of remedial teaching in the learning of Fiqh at Darul Lughah Wal Karomah Islamic Senior High School Kraksaan Probolinggo is applied by giving re-learning with different methods and media, giving special guidance, increasing training tasks, and giving intensive training.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the models and strategies for increasing competitiveness at Madrasah TsanawiyahMiftahulMidadLumajang. Over the years, this madrasa has been in terrible condition. However, it has risen drastically in the last few decades and proved a superior and competitive madrasah. This change is then interesting to study so that other madrasas can later duplicate the achievements of this madrasa. This research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Observation, interviews, group discussions and document searches were conducted for data collection. This research found that the leading factors of the madrasa head, learning innovation, teachers, and quality madrasa facilities are the main aspects that can improve the quality and competitiveness of this madrasa. These factors have made this madrasa achieve achievements in various fields and made people flock to send their children to this madrasah.

Abstract

Globalization is a process of losing boundaries between world communities. In the current era of globalization, there are many cultures that enter and develop in Indonesia. Both culture that has a good or bad impact on the lives of Indonesian people. The existence of reporting must be accompanied by a wise attitude so that it can be utilized properly and can become knowledge that has a positive impact on us. Globalization concerns various aspects of life, one of which is education. Because it involves various aspects, globalization greatly affects and changes the order of human life. The purpose of this writer is to determine the impact of globalization on changes in education. The method used in this research is library research or literature study. By searching for various written materials from books, articles, and relevant journals. The results of this study are that globalization is a process of expanding foreign culture into local culture, where there is dependence between countries around the world. Thus giving birth to a global society, which influences human life including education. The results of the growth of globalization have had positive and negative impacts on education. The positive impact is the ease of accessing educational information, increasing the quality of educators, increasing the quality of education. As for the negative impact, the decline in the moral quality of students, the erosion of local culture, and the emergence of fast and instant traditions.
