Abstract

High quality education is considered the main target in every education system. The development of management training participants is a very crucial component in achieving this target. Student management Refers to systematic efforts to manage and facilitate student growth and development in the educational environment. This research explains the concept of student management development. Regarding the method determined in this research, it uses library research which discusses the development of student management in improving the quality of education. The results of this research indicate that developing student management is an important effort to improve the quality of education. By managing students effectively, schools can create a learning environment that supports and supports the growth and development of students holistically. Even though there are challenges in developing student management, the efforts made to improve the quality of student management are very important to achieve optimal educational goals. The use of technology in student management can improve the quality of education

Abstract

This research discusses transformational leadership which is the main foundation for organizations in achieving excellence and success. The research method used is field research with a qualitative approach, involving holistic observation of individuals. The research location was carried out at the Nurul Jadid Paiton Islamic Boarding School, Paiton, Probolinggo in 2024. The main aim of this research is to contribute to the understanding of the role of transformational leadership in creating a quality organizational culture and improving team performance in religious organizational environments. The research results show that transformational leadership has a significant positive influence in forming a quality organizational culture. Open communication, regular evaluation, and building member involvement are key elements in the successful implementation of transformational leadership.

Abstract

Public Relations Management in Increasing Alumni Participation is one way to foster and develop harmonious relations between institutions and alumni in establishing close relationships with alumni. Because the success of an educational institution organization in achieving its mission and objectives is determined by the role of alumni both internally and externally. Based on this, there are three issues that are the main study in this research, namely: first, How is Public Relations Management Planning to Increase Alumni Participation at the Al-Qur’an Science Education Center Nurul Jadid Paiton; second, How is the Implementation of Public Relations Management in Increasing the Participation of Alumni at the Al-Qur’an Science Education Center Nurul Jadid Paiton; third, How to Evaluate Public Relations Management in Increasing Alumni Participation at the Al-Qur’an Science Education Center Nurul Jadid Paiton. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of field study. Data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. While data analysis using triangulation techniques. The results of this study indicate that: First, Public Relations Management Planning in Increasing Alumni Participation at the Nurul Jadid Paiton Al-Qur’an Education Center is carried out based on a public relations work meeting. Namely a. Introducing the importance of madrasas to Alumni b. Get moral and financial assistance c. Provide information to Alumni of program implementation. d. Know the needs of alumni. Second, the implementation of public relations in increasing the participation of alumni at the Nurul Jadid Paiton Al-Qur’an Education Center through several methods/tools, such as distributing brochures, installing banners, promoting institutions through the media etc. Third, a public relations evaluation conducted at the Nurul Jadid Paiton Al-Qur’an Education Center in increasing alumni participation is in two ways, namely, direct and quarterly evaluations (before the odd semester, after the odd semester before the class increase). The evaluation includes: active participation and passive participation.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is about social entrepreneurship in building and managing costs. Social entrepreneurship is a concept that can solve social problems with an ideal, directed and sustainable social entrepreneurship business approach that can be carried out through educational activities. The research method is descriptive qualitative while the sample is determined by purposive random sampling method. Data collection used a combination of approaches, including surveys, observations, field studies, and interviews and research locations conducted at SMAN 4 Jember. The results of the study show that the implementation of social entrepreneurship development is carried out in the form of snack entrepreneurs, ATK, and food and clothing cooperatives. This program is expected to be able to help generate income for educators in these institutions and have business independence as well as social sensitivity and provide a balance of academic ability, attitude and work in the framework of community self-development, both as professional, independent and innovative social entrepreneurs. The results of social entrepreneurship in managing costs have components that are obtained, namely social value, leaders innovate, economic activity, and leaders carry out cost control. This is expected to create a social business that can have a positive impact on educational institutions and improve people's welfare

Abstract

Strategic management has an important role in improving the quality of education. This study aims to find out: (1) How is strategic planning in improving the quality of education in SMA Syarif Hidayatullah (2) How is strategic management implemented in improving the quality of education in SMA Syarif Hidayatullah (3) How is strategic management evaluating in improving the quality of education in SMA Syarif Hidayatullah .This research is a descriptive qualitative research, data collected through observation, interviews, documentation, triangulation, and analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. This study aims to determine the process of planning, implementing, and evaluating strategic management in improving the quality of education at SMA Syarif Hidayatullah. In the study of strategic management in improving the quality of education at Syarif Hidayatullah High School, it shows that: (1) Strategic planning at Syarif Hidayatullah High School includes four activities, namely developing vision, mission and goals, short, medium and long term planning, identification of internal factors and external, as well as strategy formulation. (2) The implementation of strategic management at Syarif Hidayatullah High School includes four activities, namely determining madrasah policies, motivating educators and education staff, allocating human resources, and developing a strategic culture. (3) Evaluation of strategic management at Syarif Hidayatullah SMA includes three activities, namely monitoring all results, measuring individual and madrasah performance, taking corrective steps.

Abstract

This  research  is  descriptive  qualitative  in  nature  with  a  phenomenological approach in analyzing the  leadership of  village Kiai in efforts to mainstream religious moderation for the abangan in Songon, Pondok Joyo, Semboro Jember, East Java. The results  of this research  show that the  leadership  authority of village  Kiai in the  global era  has  not  been  shifted,  continues  to  exist,  and  is  the  main  reference  in  providing example,  da'wah,  education  and  consultation  in  building  the  foundation  for mainstreaming  religious  moderation.  In  implementing  his  leadership,  he  uses  a situational  approach  based  on  religious  ethics,  through  various  activities  that  are routine  and  conditional,  daily,  weekly,  monthly  and  yearly,  taking  into  account  the context  and  culture  of  the  Songon  community.  In  leading  various  religious  and  non- religious  activities,  he  always  instills  values,  develops  attitudes  and  thoughts  that  are moderate,  tolerant  and  peaceful  as  well  as  love  for  the  Indonesian  homeland  by referring  to  the  concepts  that  have  been  taught  or  embraced  by  the  NU  organization through educational, religious and cultural activities.

Abstract

Education is a deliberate and planned effort to create a teaching and learning environment where students can actively develop their potential to have personality, character, a sense of self-control, religious spiritual soul, and knowledge to live a life in society. Education is changing in the home, community, and educational institutions. The instructional leadership role of school principals as educators, managers, administrators, leaders, innovators and motivators cannot be separated from educational change in schools. One of the three implementers of the Driving School Program (PSP) is SMA Negeri 1 Gerung. Where PSP is a government program that collaborates with regional governments (PEMDA) in various interventions to improve the level of education. PSP concentrates on the process of developing holistic student learning outcomes which include basic literacy and numeracy competencies as well as character. The research approach used is empirical research, namely research with data in the field as the main data source, such as the results of interviews and observations. In this research, the researcher focuses on SMAN 1 Gerung which is the implementer of the Driving School Program (PSP) in Lombok Regency West.

Abstract

Empirical facts show that the work performance appraisal process to maximize performance tends to get stuck in a formality process. It is felt that the DP3-PNS (Job Implementation Assessment Data) has lost its meaning and substantive meaning, not directly related to what PNS has done. Therefore the government is trying to create a new way of assessing the work performance of civil servants, namely by using the Work Performance Assessment method approach. In this case, the President of the Republic of Indonesia has issued Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 46 of 2011 concerning the Assessment of Civil Servant Work Performance. The purpose of this study was to describe the achievements of SD Plus Al-ghifari Kota Bandung employees. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method using observation and interviews to collect the data. The results of this study indicate that the Rating scale, Critical Incident and Field Review applied at SD Plus Alghifari Kota Bandung produce a more valid and structured assessment because the assessment data using the rating scale is stored on a drive in the network which can be accessed anywhere with use the internet network. Then for critical incidents it is carried out in stages and over a certain period of time and the manager monitors and records all specific events or events that will be assessed and observed as a determinant of the success of the indicators on the job. And finally, the field review is carried out by means of assessors or leaders going directly to the field to assess employee performance.

Abstract

Most of the learning processes that take place in elementary schools, on the one hand, are still dominated by the role of the teacher, but also have a negative impact, namely the lack of active participation of students in learning activities. One of them is the lack of diversity in the strategies and methods used by teachers in carrying out their learning. The learning process in elementary school is relatively passive, the teacher explains the material, and students sit and listen, recite, and recite, this is what is called teacher-centered learning. The learning-by-doing learning model is the concept of learning while working and working actively. The pragmatic view of education is mainly based on two reasons: one is destiny, children are an active existence, and the other is that students need to impulsively participate in the learning process through children's work.

Abstract

This research examines the role of teachers as manager in improving academic achievement at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Hikmah Al Fatimiyah Besuki Situbondo. The main focus of the research is to identify managerial strategies implemented by teachers in an effort to improve student academic achievement. The research method used was qualitative with a case study approach, involving in-depth interviews and observations of teachers, students and madrasah heads. The research results show that teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Hikmah Al Fatimiyah play a crucial role as manager in managing the learning process. They are not only responsible for delivering lesson material, but also have a strategic role in planning, organizing, implementing and supervising learning. Teachers as manager are recognized as having a role in designing innovative learning programs, motivating students, and creating a conducive learning environment. Apart from that, teachers also act as facilitators in building good relationships between madrasah, students and parents. Parental involvement in supporting learning at home is recognized as an important factor that supports better academic achievement. In this context, the teacher's role as manager also includes coordinating with parents to maximize their support for their children's learning. This research presents an in-depth understanding of the managerial role of teachers and their contribution to increasing academic achievement at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Darul Hikmah Al Fatimiyah. The implications of these findings can help develop more effective managerial strategies in improving the quality of education in similar institutions.
