Abstract

Leadership transformation is needed in an institution to change patterns and develop existing interests and talents in institutions to improve quality. Building a literacy culture is intended to grow and strengthen interest in reading in students. This study aims to analyze and understand the transformation of a leader in increasing students' interest in reading by implementing a literacy culture in an institution, namely SDN Kotaanyar III, Kotaanyar Village, Kotaanyar District, Probolinggo Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. The survey results show that management leadership in building a literacy culture is implemented using; Compulsory reading habits (PWB), Strengthening HR, and Integrity of Infrastructure. With the management transformation carried out by leaders in building cultural literacy, they can make it happen by fostering children's reading interest, writing skills, language proficiency and information processing skills

Abstract

  College Students always experience ups and downs in managing their lives, both as College students and as children in their families and social environment. Not to mention the adaptation of the learning process which is quite fast, from the pandemic to the changes after the pandemic. So it becomes a natural thing that during their study period, it is not uncommon for College students to experience mental health problems. The UIN Jakarta Family Resilience Consultation Institute (LK3) tries to present a spiritual approach to addressing mental health problems faced by College students. So that there is a research formulation in the form of a spiritual approach like what is used by LK3 UIN Jakarta in overcoming mental health problems for College students.  This research will use qualitative research techniques with descriptive research types to provide an overview of the spiritual approach to handling College student mental health problems after the pandemic at UIN Jakarta LK3. This study also uses bibliography studies, observations, and interviews to dig deeper into the spiritual approach provided by LK3 in dealing with mental health problems in College students. The research results obtained were that during the pandemic there was a spike in mental health cases experienced by College students, especially on the problem of adaptation to the learning process. Similar to the post-pandemic period, mental health problems were experienced by College students in terms of learning adaptation issues. LK3 UIN Jakarta tries to use a spiritual approach to overcoming mental health problems in College students. This spiritual approach is carried out in several ways, namely aspects of worship practice (Prayer Fulfillment), Belief in life (Universality), and responsibility for one's life (Relationship).

Abstract

The role of HR Competence in developing Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is very important in improving MSME performance. This study aims to: determine the role of HR competencies in MSME actors, determine the driving factors for improving MSME performance; and knowing the inhibiting factors in improving the performance of MSMEs in Pematang Serai Village. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The subjects of the study are MSME owners, MSME employees and customers. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations and literature studies. Data analysis techniques use qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that: the role of HR competence in developing MSMEs is needed who have the ability and expertise as well as good skills and innovation, so it requires special training for MSME actors. In addition to MSME owners, the government and related agencies participate in training to improve HR competence in improving MSME performance

Abstract

The aim of the research was to find out how big a role stress management plays in the stability of students. Where life in various Islamic boarding schools demands that students behave independently and are trained to do several things independently too. The research was conducted at the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School using a case study type qualitative research method. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that students who are predominantly teenagers are very vulnerable to mental health disorders. This is because the students are still in the learning process with a quite busy schedule. The role of foster carers in providing assistance to students greatly influences the development of the students' condition, especially in Mental Health. Several activities and policies are carried out by central and regional Islamic boarding school administrators to implement stress management for students in the hope that students will continue to participate in all Islamic boarding school activities well.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the characteristics of students at MTS Riyadlus Sholihin and the role of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in efforts to shape the character of MTS Riyadlus Sholihin students. The character formation of students in question is the method used by the school, both teachers and other parties, effectively and efficiently, in forming the character of students at MTS Riyadlus Sholihin. The research method used involved an initial survey to assess teachers' level of awareness and needs regarding learner characteristics, followed by appropriate program design and implementation. Data obtained through surveys, observations and interviews are used to evaluate the impact of the program on student characteristics. as a result, on learning productivity in the classroom. The results of the research show a significant increase in character and spiritual intelligence education efforts in this school taking a strong foundation from religious and ethical values, which are taught by Islamic Religious Education and Moral Education teachers. Through various roles such as educators, teachers, mentors, trainers, advisors, and role models, Islamic Religious Education teachers play a central role in helping students understand, internalize, and apply moral values in real life.

Abstract

This paper describes how the implementation of women's leadership management to improve the quality of educators and students at MIN 2, Maron sub-district, Probolinggo district. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Based on the presentation and analysis of the data, conclusions can be drawn, among others; (1) the leadership style of the principal at MIN 2 Probolinggo is based on practice and exemplary religious-socialist doctrine; (2) the improvement in the quality of students is evident in the various achievements obtained by MIN 2 Probolinggo, such as innovation in the field of religion, adiwiyata and literacy and the pioneering of 'child- friendly' madrasas. In fact, in the past year, there have been at least 19 educator and student achievements for 2022 and 4 achievements at the beginning of 2023; (3) the quality of schools can also be seen from the high appreciation from various groups such as the Probolinggo district Ministry of Religion and the East Java Regional Office in the field of religious innovation, UNESA universities in terms of literacy, the Probolinggo district environmental service (DLH) in terms of adiwiyata and support from various parties particularly relevant to the parents of students; (4) MIN 2 Probolinggo also declared "Child Friendly" madrasas as a representation of the concern of educational institutions that fulfill the rights and protection of children; and (5) an intensive evaluation is carried out by the principal by involving professional and competent parties in their fields. Abstract

This study aims to find out how academic supervision helps improve teacher professionalism at MI ManbaulUlum in TanjungsariKrejengan, which includes the program, implementation, evaluation, supporting and inhibiting factors faced by the head of MadrsahIbtidaiyahManbaulUlumTanjungsariKrejengan. Through supervisory activities, madrasas can provide guidance, motivation and technical assistance to teachers with difficulties in learning activities to improve teacher professionalism. This research qualitative uses research. To collect data using observation data, interviews, and documentation, we spoke with the head of the madrasa, the deputy head of the madrasa, and the teacher. The results of this research show that the supervision of a madrasa director in developing teachers' professional competence is going as planned. The effects of improving the professional competence of teachers include; mastery of materials, essential mastering competencies, developing materials, sustainably developing professionalism by taking reflective actions, and utilizing information and communication technology.

Abstract

Basically Islam carries the teachings of rahmatan lil'alamin (compassion for all nature). However, the reality is that inter-religious harmony in Indonesia is still being debated. The cause of the controversy is the growth and development of thoughts and movements of radical Islamic groups. Responding to the growth and development of radical understanding movements, Islamic organizations in Indonesia need to respond actively, creatively, constructively and solutively in counteracting this radical understanding. One of the religious organizations that is active in countering radicalism is Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyyah. Based on this description, the researcher is interested in writing a thesis entitled Education Values of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyyah to Shape the Character of Santri Rahmatan Lil 'Alamin Darul Hikmah Balen Bojonegoro Islamic Boarding School. This study aims to describe and analyze what are the educational values of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyyah, what are the forms of implementation and what are the factors that support and hinder this implementation. This type of research is a qualitative description. Sources of research data are caregivers, coaches, and students, as well as documentation of Darul Hikmah Balen Bojonegoro Islamic Boarding School.The results of the research findings, namely the educational values of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyyah have reached the target to shape the character of the students Rahmatan Lil 'Alamin at the Islamic Boarding School by always applying the principles of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyyah values. Implementation is carried out by providing students with the basics of the Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyyah practice. In addition, the practice of amaliyah - amaliyah which contains educational values Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyyah such as reciting the yellow book, yasinan, tahlilan, istighosah, reading manaqib, reading sholawat, reading rotib, and bahtsul masa'il. The supporting factors are the students' awareness and enthusiasm for reciting the Koran, motivation from parents, siblings, clerics and supervisors. While the inhibiting factors include the negative influence of friends, laziness, low vocabulary of students, low knowledge of the basics of Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An Nahdliyyah amaliyah

Abstract

The curriculum plays a vital role in education as a guide for future educational goals so that it runs better and optimally. The application of the curriculum developed in schools to suit the circumstances and needs of the environment because these things are related to each other in it and become a reference for all parties who play a role in implementing the applicable curriculum. The curriculum process includes planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating, in building a good curriculum certainly requires in-depth study and thought. Evaluation as the final process of a curriculum is used as a benchmark for curriculum achievement. Education is a human effort to increase knowledge obtained from formal and informal institutions. To achieve this, appropriate educational goals are needed. The purpose of education will determine success in forming the human person, balanced with other elements in education. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the critical role of the curriculum in achieving educational goals.
