Abstract

The infant morbidity rate is the second indicator in determining the degree of child health. Based on Paninsari (2017) research in exclusive breastfeeding mothers regarding the balance of foremilk and hindmilk breast milk, the majority of mothers have less knowledge (73.8%), positive attitude (90.8%) and did not balance foremilk and hindmilk breast milk (90.8%). Lack of knowledge breastfeeding mothers about the balance of foremilk and hindmilk breast milk will cause the baby to get more foremilk so that the baby can have difficulty in digesting all the unbalanced lactose. Imbalance of foremilk and hindmilk breast milk can cause health problems in infants such as Babies often bloated, often spit up and fuss without cause, digestive disorders such as diarrhea, watery consistency, foul-smelling, green color and foamy of baby feces and the addition of baby's weight is not according to KMS. The education carried out targeted an increase in the knowledge of participants pre and post counseling with outcomes in the form of informative leaflets, reports on the results of activities and journal publications. The implementation method is divided into 3 stages: the preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation stages. The results of the pre and post questionnaire analysis showed that the median score of correct answers increased from 3.00 to 6.00. It can be concluded that there was an increase in the knowledge of education participants regarding the importance of the balance of foremilk and hindmilk breastmilk.

Abstract

Anxiety and fear experienced by mothers especially primipara can extend the duration of labor and increase the incidence of labor by action, namely labor with cesarean section (OR 26.9 CI 95%) and vacuum extraction (OR 4.5 CI 95%). Felman et al also found that more than 12% of mothers who had given birth said that they experienced anxiety during childbirth where these experiences were unpleasant times in their lives. Anxiety will be felt differently during pregnancy and third trimester anxiety is higher than the previous trimester. Pregnancy with anxiety will affect the intrauterine environment and fetal development. Anxiety has an opportunity to increase fear three times in labor and a 1.7 times chance to increase the incidence of cesarean. Mental health including pregnancy anxiety has been proven to be reduced or eliminated through physical exercise. One of the recommended physical exercises is yoga because it is low cost, easy to do and very beneficial for physical fitness and psychology. Yoga in pregnancy is more effective in reducing anxiety and depression

Abstract

Teenagers are one of the focuses of government intervention in national action to tackle stunting. The first 1000 days of life, starting from conception until the 2nd age, is a critical time for optimal mother and child nutrition. Indonesian teenagers experience three nutritional problems, namely shortness (2.5%), too thin (8%), obesity (15%), and anemia (23%). Based on Minister of Health Regulation Number 39 of 2016, one of the efforts made to reduce the prevalence of stunting is to increase education and counseling for clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) and balanced nutritional patterns in adolescents. Handling and preventing anemia can be done by consuming foods that contain vitamins and minerals which support the formation of red blood cells as prevention, fortifying foodstuffs with iron, and iron supplementation. Consume a variety of foods rich in iron, folate, vitamin B12 and vitamin C. Apart from that, additional iron intake is also provided from blood supplement tablets (TTD). This PkM activity will be held in September 2024 with a total of 43 participants. The method used in this PkM is to provide health workers, midwife training and cadre training. The instrument used to measure knowledge uses a questionnaire. The duration of this PkM activity is 8 hours per meeting session. The results of community service activities were the formation of anti-anemia youth cadres to prevent stunting (Ranting), increasing knowledge of teenagers, namely 81.5%, teenage cadres 81% and village midwives 21%. Abstract

The incidence of falls in the elderly increases in proportion to the increase in age in the elderly living in nursing homes. The problem that often occurs in the elderly who fall is due to instability when standing and walking so that they fall easily. At the Panti, the elderly is assisted by nurses and officers in each room. The ratio of the number of officers to elderly is 1:20. This makes the officers unable to pay attention to the elderly one by one and follow the elderly who are at risk of falling wherever their elderly go. For this reason, nurses and officers need to be given an explanation about the risk of falling in the elderly and the treatment that can be done. Activities carried out in the form of socialization regarding nursing care for the elderly who are at risk of filling out a fall risk assessment in the elderly using power point and a fall risk assessment sheet. This community service activity was attended by 15 elderly companions at PSTW. The results of this activity can increase the knowledge and abilities of elderly companions in determining the risk of falling in the elderly and how to handle them at PSTW
