Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant transformations to the lifestyles of adolescents, particularly in their use of online games. This study aims to analyze how online games have become part of the lifestyle of boarding-house teenagers in the Jalur Hijau area of Medan, and how this behavior relates to digital social pathology. Using a qualitative approach through unstructured interviews with four boarding-house adolescents, the study found that online games function not only as entertainment but also as an alternative social space, a medium for escaping psychological pressures, and a means of forming self-identity. High playing intensity, discomfort when not playing, and neglect of important activities indicate symptoms of addictive behavior. The resulting social impacts include withdrawal from the surrounding environment, reduced face-to-face interactions, family conflicts, and digital consumerist behaviors such as top-ups. This study emphasizes that the phenomenon of online gaming in the lives of boarding-house adolescents has entered the realm of modern social pathology, which requires attention from families, academics, and the broader social environment.

Abstract

Aplikasi manajemen perpustakaan berbasis web dengan framework Laravel ini dikembangkan untuk mendukung proses transaksi peminjaman, pengembalian buku, serta pengelolaan data pengguna secara online. Sistem yang berjalan pada SDN Kebayoran Lama Selatan 12 sebelumnya masih menggunakan pendataan buku secara manual sehingga dinilai kurang efektif dan rawan kesalahan. Pengembangan aplikasi manajemen perpustakaan ini menggunakan metode Extreme Programming (XP) dan memanfaatkan framework Laravel serta database MySQL. Pada tahap perancangan sistem, digunakan model UML (Unified Modelling Language) untuk menganalisis kebutuhan data masukan dan keluaran, sehingga rancangan aplikasi dapat terstruktur dan mudah diimplementasikan. Extreme Programming (XP) sebagai metode rekayasa perangkat lunak menekankan pendekatan berorientasi objek dan sangat sesuai untuk pengembangan perangkat lunak oleh tim berskala kecil hingga menengah. Tahapan XP meliputi Planning (Perencanaan), Design (Perancangan), Coding (Pengkodean), dan Testing (Pengujian). Untuk memastikan aplikasi berjalan secara optimal, dilakukan dua jenis pengujian, yaitu white box dan black box. Pengujian tersebut dilakukan pada proses pendataan pengguna, pengelolaan data buku, transaksi peminjaman buku, serta penampilan laporan transaksi peminjaman buku. Melalui serangkaian tahapan ini, aplikasi yang dibangun diharapkan mampu mempermudah kegiatan administrasi perpustakaan dan meningkatkan efisiensi pengolahan data.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a gravity-powered water pump as a solution to irrigation problems in Gondang Village, Limbangan District, Kendal Regency. The village’s mountainous topography makes it difficult for farmers to channel water from the river to agricultural land located at higher elevations. The gravity-powered pump is designed without using external energy sources such as electricity or fuel, instead utilizing the potential energy of water flow (gravity). The methodology includes field studies, literature reviews, community needs surveys using questionnaires, anthropometric measurements for ergonomic design, as well as conceptualization, prototyping, and testing stages. The pump design takes into account technical, functional, ergonomic, and safety aspects, along with SWOT analysis and production cost calculations. As a result, the pump is capable of delivering water from lower to higher areas automatically and efficiently, with a production cost of Rp 700,000 and a recommended selling price of Rp 800,000. The project concludes that gravity-powered water pumps can serve as an effective, energy-efficient, environmentally friendly, and economical solution to help improve the productivity of the agricultural sector in remote areas with limited access to water.

Abstract

Digital transformation in human resource management (HRM) plays a crucial role in enhancing employee productivity, which ultimately contributes to the effectiveness of employee performance management. This study aims to examine the impact of digital transformation on the effectiveness of employee performance management. The analysis results show that digital transformation has a significant impact on employee performance effectiveness by strengthening five key work principles: accuracy, speed, efficiency, safety, and problem-solving ability. With the right implementation strategy and adaptive human resource support, digitalization not only increases productivity but also creates a safer, more efficient, and sustainable work environment.

Abstract

The number of students who are not yet fluent readers is the focus of this research. First-grade students at Rahva Marindal 1 Elementary School are the subjects of this study, which aims to document their reading comprehension during the 2024–2025 academic year. All twenty-eight first-grade students at Rahva Marindal 1 Elementary School during the 2024–2025 academic year constitute the population of this research. A software package called IBM SPSS Statistics 27 was used to assist with the data analysis process. The first-grade students at SD Marindal 1 showed improvement in their reading comprehension after using picture cards as a teaching aid. The asymp.sig (2-tailed) value was 0.000, as indicated by the "test statistics" output. The decision to reject the null hypothesis (HO) was made because the significance value (0.002) was less than 0.05. This indicates that the post-test results of the observation sample differed significantly from their pre-test scores. In other words, the test scores of first-grade students at Rahva Elementary School were significantly influenced by the use of picture card media.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of digital marketing implementation on the sales growth of mobile coffee MSMEs in Pamekasan Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach on three mobile coffee MSMEs that have implemented marketing through social media such as WhatsApp and Instagram. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of digital marketing has successfully increased consumer reach, expanded the market, and raised average sales by 35% within three months. In conclusion, digital marketing strategies are effective and relevant for mobile coffee MSMEs to improve competitiveness and sales revenue.

Abstract

This study synthesizes and analyzes the dominant factors influencing university students’ investment interest and actual investment decisions in Islamic capital market instruments, with particular focus on the intention action gap. Using a descriptive-narrative literature review approach, data were systematically collected through the Publish or Perish application from relevant journal articles and conference proceedings published between 2021 and 2025. The selected studies were thematically analyzed to identify key patterns and research trends. The findings show that students’ Islamic investment behavior is shaped by both internal and external factors. The main internal determinants include financial literacy, intrinsic motivation, and self-efficacy, while external factors comprise social environment support, the availability of Sharia Investment Galleries (GIS) on campus, and the intensity of financial education, both formal and digital. The integration of the Theory of Planned Behavior with religiosity offers a strong conceptual framework for understanding students’ multidimensional investment behavior. As a literature-based study, this research does not empirically test causal relationships. Future studies are encouraged to employ quantitative or mixed methods. Practically, the findings emphasize the importance of integrated educational programs to bridge the gap between students’ investment intentions and real investment actions.

Abstract

The case between PT Bukit Kamsiri Indah and PT Tanjung Buton Internasional originated from a land sale and purchase agreement documented in several notarial deeds. However, the Defendant did not perform the agreement properly. As a result, this dispute reached the cassation level. For this reason, the normative legal method was used in this study to examine how the courts, particularly the Supreme Court, assessed the breach of contract and determined the responsible party. The results of the discussion show that third parties are irrelevant to the Supreme Court because this case is merely a matter of contract enforcement. In addition, the panel of judges reaffirmed the principle of pacta sunt servanda, which means that the parties remain bound by the terms of a validly made agreement.

Abstract

Corruption has become an issue that erodes public trust in government institutions in Indonesia. According to Transparency International, Indonesia ranks 102nd out of 180 countries in the 2022 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI), indicating that much work remains to be done to eradicate corruption (Transparency International, 2022). In this context, the legal provisions regarding criminal acts of corruption are regulated in Law No. 31 of 1999, which was later amended by Law No. 20 of 2001, which regulates the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption. This article will provide a legal analysis of criminal acts of corruption involving civil servants who accept gifts because of their power. Using the case of Defendant Regi Artaputrawan at the Bandung District Court with Case Number 85/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN Bdg as a case study, this analysis will discuss the public prosecutor's indictment and the judge's verdict, as well as the implications of these decisions for law enforcement and anti-corruption policies in Indonesia. Through a legal analysis approach, it is hoped that this study will provide a clear picture of the challenges and solutions in eradicating corruption in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance evaluation system at the Administrative Court of Banjarmasin (PTUN Banjarmasin) and formulate an evaluation model that integrates the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) with Society 5.0 principles. A qualitative case study approach was employed through in-depth interviews, limited participant observation, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings indicate that the existing evaluation system remains administrative and does not adequately represent employees' digital workload. The integration of HRIS and Society 5.0 enhances objectivity, accuracy, and transparency by enabling real-time digital performance tracking and incorporating indicators such as technological adaptability, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities. This model can motivate staff, develop their competencies, and support the Smart Court transformation, inspiring confidence in the system's positive impact.
