Abstract

This research is based on the phenomenon of the dominance of modern retail businesses which are increasingly displacing the existence of traditional retail businesses in society, especially in the context of sharia economic law. The aim of this research is to analyze the impact of modern retail dominance on the sustainability of traditional retail businesses and its implications from a sharia economic law perspective. The method used is a qualitative approach with case studies in several retail business locations, involving in-depth interviews with business owners and analysis of documents related to sharia economic law. The research results show that although modern retail offers various conveniences and accessibility, traditional retail businesses still have important social and cultural values, but are threatened by business practices that are not in accordance with sharia principles. In general, the presence of modern retail does not conflict with sharia economic law as long as; Competition is carried out fairly and healthily, there are no unfair practices, monopoly or exploitation, and there is attention to economic balance and the welfare of small communities. The conclusions of this research emphasize the need for stricter regulations to protect traditional retail businesses and encourage business practices that are in accordance with sharia values, so that both types of businesses can operate harmoniously in a just economic ecosystem.

Abstract

Surah Al-Nisa' verse 34 contains an explanation of husband and wife in household life, but household life that should be sakinah, mawaddah wa rahmah is difficult to achieve because of the lack of balance between husband and wife in carrying out their respective rights and obligations, which causes problems in the household. This study was conducted to describe the views of Ibn 'Ashur and Wahbah Al-Zuhaily regarding the relationship between husband and wife in the interpretation of QS. Al-Nisa' verse 34 using the library method and comparing two contemporary tafsir books, namely Tafsir al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir and Tafsir al-Munir. The interpretations of Ibn 'Ashur and Wahbah Al-Zuhaily have the same view regarding the Relationship between Husband and Wife in QS. Al-Nisa' verse 34, namely that men as husbands become leaders, protectors, and educators for their wives and carry out their rights and obligations well, such as in terms of providing a living and protection. It's just that Ibn 'Ashur's interpretation is more patriarchal and Wahbah Al-Zuhaily's interpretation is more gender-just. And women as wives are required to carry out their rights and obligations well, namely by becoming a wife who is pious, faithful and hafizah lil Ghaib

Abstract

The term engagement used in the Civil Code is known in Islam as aqad (contract in Indonesian). Jumhur Ulama defines a contract as "a relationship between an agreement and a promise that is justified by the syara' which gives rise to legal consequences for its object." A pledge is one of the most important elements in forming a contract. This agreement is in the form of an agreement and a statement. Ijab is a statement from someone (the first party) to offer something. Kabul is a statement from someone (the second party) to accept or grant an offer from the first party. If the consent and Kabul made by both parties are related and in accordance, then it happens between them. Sharia Bank is a financial institution based on Islamic Sharia. Abstract

This article explores three main perspectives in Islamic educational philosophy: conservative, liberal, and democratic, by revealing how each of these views interprets the values and goals of education. The conservative approach to Islamic education, represented by the essentialist and perennialist schools of thought, emphasizes the preservation and protection of existing traditions and customs. The concept of conservative education is more static and less open to new views or ideas. In contrast, liberal education, influenced by classical and modern liberalism, places more importance on the individual and freedom of thought, and seeks to adapt to global economic and social changes by prioritizing rational approaches and open discussion in the teaching and learning process. This model has undergone significant evolution along with historical and ideological dynamics. Meanwhile, democratic education, in the context of Islam, focuses on providing fair and humanizing educational services to each individual, by paying special attention to the development of each child's potential according to their abilities. This concept also supports academic freedom and prioritizes equal rights in obtaining education without discrimination. This study uses a literature review method to analyze these conceptions based on sources such as books, articles, and the thoughts of Islamic educational figures, both classical and modern.
