Abstract

The provision of gadgets to children at this age can affect language development; by frequently using gadgets, children will become accustomed to practicing speech or communication. The purpose of this research is to understand the development of children's language when using gadgets. with a research design that involves developing instruments and conducting observations in the classroom by checking items on the statement list Statistical data analysis was conducted by testing the instrument with four expert raters in their field, followed by a validity test using Aiken’s V formula. Based on the results of the statistical test conducted, there is an influence of the gadget variable (X) on language development of 65.8%, while 34.2% can be influenced by additional variables that have not yet been studied. To test the significance of the regression line equation, the p-value in the General Model Test column can be used. A p-value less than (<) 0.05 indicates that the regression line equation is significant. This indicates that the regression line equation can be relied upon to estimate the variable of device usage in the language development of 4-5 year old children.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in ethnic, religious, cultural, customs, language and background diversity, which often causes shifts and conflicts in society. Awareness and recognition of this diversity is known as pluralism, which includes cultural, political and religious aspects. Instilling the values of pluralism and tolerance is closely related to Indonesian society's awareness of existing differences. One of the ways that is considered the most effective for instilling the values of tolerance and pluralism between religious communities is through education. In early childhood, their potential includes aspects of religious-moral, physical-motor, social-emotional, language and artistic values, so that their development period must be directed at instilling moral-religious, cognitive, social-emotional, physical values. -balanced motor skills, language and art as the basis for the formation of a complete person. To implement this good behavior, an effective educational approach is needed from parents and teachers, because the school and family environment greatly influences a child's personality. Therefore, it is important to instill good attitudes in children's lives from an early age so that these values can be ingrained well into adulthood. Based on this background, this research was carried out with the title "Instilling the Value of Tolerance in Cultural Pluralism in Early Childhood."

Abstract

Teacher and parent involvement with children has been associated with a number of adaptive characteristics in preschool children, and the relationship between family and teacher is an important contributor to school readiness. This study reports a participatory, teacher-parent involvement case study approach designed to facilitate school readiness among disadvantaged preschool children, with a particular focus on social-emotional stimulation. The study aimed to extend the study of social-emotional development from ecological systems theory to the context of children's school readiness, stimulating (1) familiarity with the school environment, (2) adjustment, (3) displaying habits of independence and (4) helping behavior, and (5) tolerance. The study, conducted over a 12-month period, observed specific interpersonal competencies (i.e., attachment, initiative, and anxiety/withdrawal), in contrast, differences in the extent to which positive action was given to children experiencing behavioral problems (i.e., anger/aggression, self-control, or conduct problems) as a function of being prepared to be given action. With participants of the principal, group B teachers, who were willing to 44 children voluntarily participate in this study, Data for this study included field notes, non-participant and participant observations, curriculum documentation, focus group and individual interviews, reflective journals/diaries, and photovoice. Data were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using thematic analysis and narrative inquiry-based analysis. The contribution of this study can be used as input for policy makers, parents, PAUD teachers, and the community in Indonesia. The implications of this intervention appear to be very effective in building social-emotional competencies beyond the impacts experienced as a function of participation in the early school entry program. Limitations and implications for research can be reviewed for the future.

Abstract

This investigate employments a subjective approach to look at the part of parental communication in upgrading children's dialect insights through the Qur'an and Hadith in PIAUD Labura . Parents play a crucial role in shaping this intelligence, so effective strategies are needed to overcome challenges. One of the key steps is to improve religious understanding by attending Quranic study classes, participating in religious discussions, or reading Islamic books. Establishing a consistent learning routine at home is also essential, such as setting aside time each day to read, memorize, and discuss the Qur'an and Hadith with children. Additionally, creative methods like storytelling about the prophets or using Islamic educational apps can make learning more engaging and enjoyable for children. Good communication between parents and teachers is important to ensure continuity between home and school education. Parents should also actively participate in school meetings and events to support their child’s development more effectively. Moreover, encouraging children to ask questions, engage in discussions, and build a warm emotional connection with them strengthens their involvement in the learning process. Educational technology can be used as a tool to support this learning, and forming small study groups with peers can further encourage interaction and discussion. These strategies enable parents to overcome obstacles and maximize their role in enhancing children's language intelligence through the Qur'an and Hadith.
