Abstract

This research and development aims to increase the effectiveness of learning in class IV SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang. The development of Islamic comic-based learning media aims to (1) produce learning media products by describing the media development process, (2) describe the level of feasibility of learning media, and (3) describe the level of effectiveness of learning media in the science material subject force and motion of Muhammadiyah 9 "Panglima Sudirman" Malang fourth grade elementary school students.This study refers to the Borg and Gall research model by adopting six main steps, namely: 1) needs analysis, 2) media development, 3) media testing, 4) media revision, 5) field testing, and 6) implementation. Data analysis used the Linkert scale for media eligibility data and SPSS 16.0 for Windows for media effectiveness data. Islamic comic-based learning media has been declared valid by experts. Attendance from stage I test material experts was 79%, stage II test material experts were 100%, linguists were 100%, media design experts were 100%, and learning practitioners or class teachers were 100%. The application of learning media was carried out in 3 stages, namely small group tests with 4 students, medium groups with 16 students, and large groups with 19 students in the control class and 19 students in the experimental class. Islamic comic-based learning media effectively improves student learning outcomes in class IV Al Batani as an experimental class, which is 90.56 with an increase in the average value of 21.18%, starting from 74.73 to 90.56.

Abstract

Ethnoscience is a learning design that integrates science with local culture. When viewed from the facts on the ground, students' interest in studying science is very low, as is their knowledge of local cultures. The results of the PISA (Program for International Student Assessment) study show that on average Indonesian students have scientific literacy which is decreasing from year to year, which is 393 in 2006, 383 in 2009, and in 2012 it is 382. This study aims to describe the role of ethnoscience learning in increasing local knowledge of elementary age children. This research method uses a qualitative approach to the type of literature study. The data sources used are taken from journals and books published in the last 10 years. The results of this study indicate that learning that utilizes local wisdom as a source of learning can increase students' scientific knowledge and Local Knowledge. Local Knowledge development in learning can be done through the preparation of lesson plans, media, teaching materials, methods and models based on ethnoscience. Based on the discussion of the results and research findings, it can be concluded that every learning using media, teaching materials, methods and models based on ethnoscience can increase the Local Knowledge of elementary age children and facilitate the teaching and learning process

Abstract

Learning is a process that requires a dialogical relationship between educators and students. In delivering learning materials, appropriate methods are needed to transfer knowledge from teacher to students. Learning methods can be interpreted as the methods used to implement plans that have been prepared on the practical activities to achieve learning objectives. Choosing a learning method that suits the characteristics of students can make it easier for educators to deliver the learning materials. The lecture method is a classical method that is frequently used in various learning. This method uses verbal explanations carried out by educators directly in front of students at the front of the class. This research, which uses the qualitative case study design, aims to determine the implementation of the lecture method in 3rd class students on learning fiqh at Tuban Islamic Elementary School.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan mengenai pembentukan karakter dan budi pekerti pada siswa melalui kegiatan apel pagi dan kefektifannya dalam mewujudkan karakter dan budi pekerti yang baik pada siswa di MA Tarbiyatul Banin Banat Jetak.  Tipe penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif jualitatif. Data yang ada dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui kegiatan observasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi dan guru yang ada di MA Tarbiyatul Banin Banat Jetak. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil bahwa kegiatan apel pagi di MA Tarbiyatul Banin Banat Jetak dapat digunakan sebagai sarana dan jalan yang efektif untuk membentuk dan menanamkan karakter serta budi pekerti pada anak seperti sikap disiplin, bertangung jawab, sopan santu, serta saling menghargai terhadap sesama siswa dan menghargai guru.

Abstract

In the current era, lecturers can provide information without having to meet students directly. The most modern situation is the growth of so-called "virtual teaching," or teaching methods carried out with the help of the Internet. Another term that is gaining popularity today is "e-learning," a learning model that utilizes the power of information and communication technology, especially the internet. The use of digital media in the learning process, apart from making it easier for students, can also chat comments with the menu that has been provided, so that students who lack confidence when in a crowd can be active with the menu. The most important aspect of the learning process, whether online or offline, is the learning process itself. This study used a qualitative research method, and the data were described descriptively. This research was conducted in 2022 during the midterm for 7th semester PGMI students at IAINU Tuban, with the aim of knowing the effectiveness of using online applications in the learning process. Data collection techniques are carried out by analyzing student learning motivation, student participation, and student activity during the lecture process using online applications. The learning process using the Google Meet application as an alternative learning medium has a positive impact on students. Where it shows the spirit of student motivation rising, student participation in attending lectures reaches 100%, and student activity also seems to reach 80%.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran kurang efektif jika mengandalkan ceramah tanpa adanya media yang mendukung. Sehingga tingkat pemahaman dan semangat anak juga menurun. Adanya metode dan media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan oleh guru, merupakan langkah yang mestisnya dapat meningkatkan semangat dan hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini melihat media yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk meningkatkan semangat sampai hasil belajar siswa di kelas. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan, SLR (systematic literature review) dengan mengumpulkan dan membandingkan 15 jurnal penelitian dengan tema bahasan yang sama. Adapun hasil perbandingan menjelaskan bahwa penggunaan media video merupakan cara yang efektif dan efisien dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

Perkembangan teknlogi yang begitu pesat diharsukan untuk menguasai literasi karena dengan kemmapuan literasi yang tinggi dapat mendorong perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan yang lebih tinggi. Kemampuan berliterasi menjadi salah satu bekal untuk menghandapi tantangan pada abad 21. Dalam kenyataannya masih banyak peserta didik yang memiliki minat baca yang rendah. MI Al Mabrur Sidomulyo Tambakboyo adalah sekolah yang baru merintis, sekolah tersebut memiliki SDM yang terbatas terutama untuk sumber daya guru yang berkompeten. Sebagai guru harus siap mengikuti regulasi-regulasi terkait kebijakan tentang pendidikan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Metode kualitatif deskriptif adalah suatu prosedur penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang, pelaku yang dapat diamati dan fenomena-fenomena yang muncul, sehingga penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun mereka memiliki minat membaca, namun pemahaman bacaan mereka rendah sehingga mempengaruhi aktivitas belajar mereka. Selain itu, siswa cenderung bertanya sebelum membaca, padahal informasi yang diberikan sudah lengkap. Oleh karena itu, siswa menjadi kurang proaktif karena kurangnya wawasan, kurang percaya diri dalam mengemukakan pendapat, dan tidak mampu mengemukakan pendapat secara proaktif. oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan penguatan minat membaca siswa, misalnya melalui pengembangan kampanye literasi di sekolah

Abstract

Berdasarkan pada masalah yang ditemukan, pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan guru MI Tarbiyatul Athfal II Lamongan dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran digital dan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran digital. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu dengan mengumpulkan data dan menganalisi secara menyeluruh terkait kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran digital, kemudian memberikan pelatihan secara langsung kepada guru dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran digital. Strategi yang digunakan yaitu dengan memberikan pelatihan penggunaan media digitalkepada guru khsususnya aplikasi mindjet, flipbook, dan quiz creator. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini disimpulkan bahwa Media pembelajaran berbasis digital telah banyak dimanfaatkan oleh guru MI Tarbiyatul Athfal II Lamongan dan memberikan dampak positif terhadap proses pembelajaran. Namun, ada tantangan yang memerlukan perhatian, seperti infrastruktur dan kompetensi guru.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the application of the study of the Ta'lim Muta'alim book in private educational institutions in the formation of student morals at MA Tarbiyatul Banin Banat and the application of this study with regular learning to support school programs. This research aims to determine the application of the study of the Ta'lim Muta'alim book in the formation of student morals at MA Tarbiyatul Banin Banat and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with field research. The informant for this research is a teacher studying the book Ta'lim Muta'alim. The data collection techniques were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and verification. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that: 1) planning was carried out by reading Asmaul Husna and continued with the presentation of the contents of the book Ta'lim Muta'alim. Furthermore, all students take part in the book study every day after completing Monday's ceremony and morning assembly, with a duration of 20-30 minutes. Lastly, there was an evaluation based on the results of observations of the majority of students who had seenchanges in their morals, such as their confidence and awareness of carrying out worship as an obligation, towards teachers being more respectful when walking in front of them, bowing their bodies, saying hello when they met, and having good manners and character towards friends. . However, there are also some students who still do not apply these morals according to those in the Ta'lim Muta'alim book, especially towards teachers because they don't like to always be ordered and are often late when coming toschool. It is not only a change in morals but also an increase in knowledge about the contents of the book Ta'lim Muta'alim because, after completing the study of the book, the study teacher will ask questions to students regarding what things were obtained when carrying out the study of the book Ta'lim Muta'alim. 2) Supporting and inhibiting factors: for supporting factors, there is he ability and willingness of study teachers; the majority of students are enthusiastic about participating in the study ofthe book; the environment is beautiful or cool; and the school facilities are quite adequate. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are still a lack of study teams or teachers, students who feel tired or fed up, power outages, and a damaged sound system.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country rich in ethnic, religious, cultural, customs, language and background diversity, which often causes shifts and conflicts in society. Awareness and recognition of this diversity is known as pluralism, which includes cultural, political and religious aspects. Instilling the values ​​of pluralism and tolerance is closely related to Indonesian society's awareness of existing differences. One of the ways that is considered the most effective for instilling the values ​​of tolerance and pluralism between religious communities is through education. In early childhood, their potential includes aspects of religious-moral, physical-motor, social-emotional, language and artistic values, so that their development period must be directed at instilling moral-religious, cognitive, social-emotional, physical values. -balanced motor skills, language and art as the basis for the formation of a complete person. To implement this good behavior, an effective educational approach is needed from parents and teachers, because the school and family environment greatly influences a child's personality. Therefore, it is important to instill good attitudes in children's lives from an early age so that these values ​​can be ingrained well into adulthood. Based on this background, this research was carried out with the title "Instilling the Value of Tolerance in Cultural Pluralism in Early Childhood."
