Abstract

Learning to write news texts often leaves problems in the form of quality. Writing still seems like a mechanistic activity, not an activity that involves high critical and reflective thinking. This study aims to reveal students' metacognitive strategies in writing news texts. The problems studied are metacognitive strategies and the ability to apply metacognitive strategies. The study was conducted on students of class VIII of SMP IT Insan Kamil Halmahera Selatan qualitatively descriptively and exploratively with data collection techniques, namely questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the metacognitive strategies, namely planning, monitoring, and evaluation obtained an average score of 4.15, classified as "High" based on student responses. This finding indicates that in general students have used metacognitive strategies in writing news texts quite well. Meanwhile, the ability of metacognitive strategies in writing news texts in the aspect of structure has an average score of 3.2 (good), news elements 2.8 (sufficient), language 3.0 (good), and the aspect of creativity has an average score of 2.8 (sufficient). In conclusion, students' metacognitive strategies in writing news texts are in the good category. It is suspected that the suboptimal metacognitive strategy is closely related to critical and reflective thinking as part of the metacognitive strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of budget preparation, budget expenditure process, budget preparation, and budget supervision on the Financial Performance of the Yahukimo Regency Education Office and to examine and analyze the factors that have the most dominant influence on the performance of the Yahukimo Regency Education Office. The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and questionnaires. Data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The number of samples in this study was 78 respondents. The results of the study indicate that: Partially, Budget Factors (X1), Budget Expenditure Process (X2), and Budget Use (X3) have an effect on the Performance of the Yahukimo Regency Education Office, while Budget Control (X4) does not have a significant effect on the Performance of the Yahukimo Regency Education Office. Simultaneously, Budget Factors (X1), Budget Expenditure Process (X2), Budget Use (X3), and Budget Control (X4) have a significant effect on the Performance of the Yahukimo Regency Education Office. The variable that has the most dominant influence on the Performance of the Yahukimo Regency Education Office among the four variables above is the Budget Factor.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of operating costs and depreciation on the income of PT. PLN (Persero) in the Papua region. The analytical tool used in this study is multiple regression to determine the effect of the independent variable (X) on the dependent variable (Y). The results of the study prove that there is a positive and significant effect of operating costs on income. This can be seen from the value of ttable> tcount (3.018> 2.015) with a significance of 0.048 <0.05. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between operating costs and income. This means that the higher the operating costs incurred by PT. PLN Persero in the Papua region will increase income, conversely the lower the operating costs incurred will decrease income at PT. PLN Persero Jayapyra Branch. Losses between have a positive and significant effect on income depreciation. This can be seen from ttable> tcount (4.807> 2.015) with a significance of 0.041 <0.05. The results of this study indicate a significant relationship between depreciation and income. This means that the higher the loss felt by PT. PLN Persero Papua region, the lower the income will be, conversely, the lower the depreciation owned by PT. PLN Persero Papua region, the higher the income will be.

Abstract

Research methods used in this research is quantitative method. The quantitative method is a method of research that is based on a questionnaire, which is used to examine the population and the particular sample, data collection using research instruments, quantitative data analysis / statistics, with the aim to test the hypothesis that has been set. Results of research conducted to prove that there is a positive and significant influence between the quality of service to the level of sales. It can be seen from the ttabel> thitung (3.158> 1.670) with a significantly by 0.001 <0.05. The results of this study showed a significant relationship between the quality of service to the level of sales. This means that the quality of services provided by the Swiss-Bel Hotel Jayapura will increase sales, conversely the lower the quality of services provided to reduce the level of sales in the Swiss-Bel Hotel Jayapura. Customer satisfaction variables also affect the level of sales. It can be seen from the ttabel> thitung (2,038> 1,670) with significantly by 0.012 <0.05. The results of this study showed a significant relationship between customer satisfaction on the level of sales. This means that the higher the level of satisfaction perceived by customers on the Swiss-Bel Hotel Jayapura will increase sales, conversely the lower the satisfaction level of the customers would decrease the level of sales in Swiss-Bel Hotel Jayapura.

Abstract

This study discusses the optimization of the role of the Sawai community in utilizing local plants to overcome food insecurity in Weda Tengah District. The community has great potential in planting, caring for, and developing plants such as sago, sweet potatoes, taro, and bananas which are part of the traditional food system. Local knowledge that is passed down from generation to generation can be utilized to create sustainable food security while opening up new business opportunities. However, the role of the community has not been optimal due to various obstacles such as degradation of agricultural land due to mining activities, dependence on food from outside the region, and weak institutional and policy support. In addition, access to training, technology, and markets is still limited, and there has been a decline in the regeneration of local knowledge. However, local plants still have great potential as a solution to food insecurity if they receive targeted and sustainable support. Therefore, community empowerment based on local wisdom needs to be improved in the regional food security development strategy

Abstract

Perkembangan ekonomi global yang semakin dinamis menuntut peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia melalui pendidikan, termasuk dalam bidang ekonomi. Namun, rendahnya pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep-konsep ekonomi dasar masih menjadi permasalahan utama di berbagai satuan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep ekonomi siswa SMA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas XI IPS di salah satu SMA negeri di Yogyakarta, yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pemahaman konsep dan dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata skor posttest siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan model PBL dibandingkan dengan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran konvensional. Model PBL terbukti mampu meningkatkan pemahaman konsep ekonomi secara lebih efektif karena mendorong siswa berpikir kritis, kolaboratif, dan kontekstual dalam memecahkan permasalahan ekonomi sehari-hari. Kesimpulannya, implementasi model Problem Based Learning memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep ekonomi siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan PBL sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran dalam pendidikan ekonomi, khususnya di tingkat sekolah menengah

Abstract

This study aims to design an innovative learning environment based on deep learning to improve students' economic skills at SMA Negeri 11 Ternate City. With an interactive and contextual approach, this study shows that economic learning supported by artificial intelligence technology can improve students' abilities in economic data analysis and financial decision making. The Didactic Design Research (DDR) method was used to design and rotate learning practices. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills and understanding of economic concepts, as well as positive changes in students' attitudes towards learning. This innovation in education is expected to answer the challenges of 21st century skills in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of Deep Learning technology in improving formative and summative evaluation at SMAS IT FAGOGORU. The results show that the application of Deep Learning has significant potential in improving the effectiveness of evaluation, by providing feedback and improvements, or learning units to measure the achievement of learning objectives. The Deep Learning model is able to analyze student performance data in real-time, identify patterns of difficulties faced by students, and provide more focused recommendations for improvement, which were previously difficult to achieve with conventional assessment methods. This study also identified challenges in integrating this technology, such as the diversity of student characteristics, limited resources, and curriculum that requires adjustments to fully accommodate this technology. Nevertheless, the application of Deep Learning increases the objectivity of assessment, reduces human bias, and increases time efficiency for teachers by automating many aspects of assessment. Overall, Deep Learning technology can have a positive impact in improving the quality of learning evaluation at SMAS FOGOGORU, but more attention is needed to teacher training, curriculum adjustments, and improvements to the technology infrastructure to ensure long-term success.

Abstract

The culinary industry in Situbondo Regency continues to grow rapidly, leading to intense competition among local businesses. One of them, Seblak Cak Hen, must maintain its product quality, service performance, and pricing strategy to sustain customer loyalty. This study aims to examine the influence of product quality, service quality, and price on customer loyalty at Seblak Cak Hen. The research applies a quantitative descriptive approach using a survey method with 100 respondents who have purchased the product at least twice. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The findings reveal that product quality, service quality, and price all have a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty, both partially and simultaneously. Among these variables, product quality plays the most dominant role in shaping customer loyalty, followed by service and price. The results imply that maintaining consistent flavor, providing responsive and friendly service, and offering reasonable prices aligned with perceived value are key strategies to enhance satisfaction and strengthen customer loyalty.

Abstract

Improving Civic Education (Pkn) Learning Outcomes Through Cooperative MethodsRotating Trio Exchange (Rte)In Grade IV Students at State Elementary School 70, Ternate City, Ternate Institute of Science and Education (Isdik) Kie Raha North Maluku.This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of Civic Education (PKn) of fourth grade students of SD Negeri 70 Ternate City through the application of learning models.Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE). The problem of low interest and learning outcomes in Civics is caused by less innovative and monotonous learning methods. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted in two cycles, with 20 fourth-grade students of Gita State Elementary School as subjects in the 2025/2026 academic year.The results of the study showed a significant increase in student activity and learning outcomes. In Cycle I, student activity was in the "Sufficient" category (65%) and teacher activity was "Good" (72%). The average value of student learning outcomes was 68 with a classical completion of 60%, which had not yet reached the 80% success indicator. Based on the reflection of Cycle I, corrective actions were carried out in Cycle II. As a result, student activity increased to "Very Good" (88%) and teacher activity also reached "Very Good" (90%). This improvement had a positive impact on learning outcomes, with the average class value increasing to 82 and classical completion reaching 95%, which had exceeded the success indicator.
