Abstract

The implementation of the Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) in vocational high schools aims to enhance the flexibility, efficiency, and accountability of school financial management. SMKN 2 Depok Sleman began implementing BLUD in 2024 and faced several adjustments in planning, implementation, reporting, and supervisory processes. This study aims to describe the implementation of BLUD Financial Management at SMKN 2 Depok Sleman. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design through interviews and observations, analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model. The results show that financial planning and budgeting are carried out through the bottom-up preparation of the Business Plan and Budget (RBA) at the department level, increasing participation and accuracy in planning. The implementation stage provides flexibility for the school to finance teaching factory activities and operational needs in accordance with regulations. In terms of reporting, the school prepares seven financial statements based on Government Accounting Standards (PSAP) 13 and completes monthly accountability reports as a form of transparency. Additionally, capacity-building programs from DIKPORA and BPKA support the improvement of human resources in managing BLUD. Overall, the implementation of BLUD at SMKN 2 Depok Sleman strengthens the school’s financial independence and improves the quality of financial governance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the application of the role-playing method in history learning to increase the learning interest of eleventh-grade students at SMA 5 in North Maluku Province. The problem underlying this research is the low interest of students in participating in history learning, indicated by a lack of attention, motivation, and active participation during the teaching and learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type, with the research subjects being history teachers and eleventh-grade students at SMA 5 in North Maluku Province. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and then analysed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the application of the role-playing method can increase students' interest in learning.It can be seen from the increased enthusiasm of students, their active involvement in discussions and role-playing, as well as their sense of responsibility in performing their respective roles. The classroom atmosphere becomes livelier, more enjoyable, and interactive. The challenges faced include limited time, students' mastery of the material, and some students lacking confidence. However, these challenges can be overcome through teacher guidance and the allocation of roles according to students' abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the use of serial image learning media to improve the understanding of disaster mitigation in geography learning on natural disaster material for eighth grade students of SMP Peduli Bangsa Wooi, South Halmahera Regency. This study uses an action research type, which focuses on classroom activities so that the research is in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SMP Peduli Bangsa Wooi, South Halmahera Regency. The subjects of this study were 20 eighth grade students of SMP Peduli Bangsa Wooi. The techniques used in collecting the data include. Observation, Test, and Documentation. The use of Serial Image Media can improve the learning outcomes of eighth grade students in the Social Studies subject of natural disasters. This can be seen from the learning outcomes of students from cycle I and cycle II which have increased. Student learning completeness in cycle I was 61.35% and in cycle II was 86.45% with an increase of 21.1%.

Abstract

Local wisdom consists of tangible local wisdom in the form of rules/value systems, building architecture, traditional tools and weapons and intangible such as advice/proverbs, songs, rhymes, and folk tales. The loss of local culture in Indonesia is a serious concern along with the rapid development of technology and the flow of global information. Technological advances allow people, especially the younger generation, to be easily exposed to foreign cultures through social media platforms, films, and music. This design uses a type/research approach in the form of Library Research. Library study is a study used in collecting information and data with the help of various materials available in libraries such as documents, books, magazines, historical stories. This study shows that Pancasila has a close relationship with local culture. As Indonesian citizens, we must preserve local culture in Ternate City through various means and facilities, because local wisdom in Ternate City has behaviors, procedures, and values ​​contained therein to uphold togetherness in various dynamics of community life so that attitudes of tolerance, mutual cooperation can be developed in accordance with the characteristics of local wisdom.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the scientific argumentation skills of Biology students at ISDIK Kie Raha across different academic semesters. Four semester groups (1, 3, 5, and 7) were assessed using seven indicators of argumentation: logical reasoning, data analysis, conclusion development, digital literacy, critical thinking, use of evidence, and oral argumentation. Data were collected through observation sheets and analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, and Tukey HSD post hoc tests. The results indicate a significant increase in argumentation skills with higher semesters (p < 0.05). First-semester students demonstrated basic argumentation abilities, while third-semester students showed moderate improvement. Substantial gains were observed in the fifth semester, particularly in data analysis and evidence use. Seventh-semester students achieved the highest scores across most indicators, reflecting more advanced, coherent, and evidence-based scientific argumentation. These improvements were influenced by academic experience, laboratory activities, research engagement, and scientific discussions. The study concludes that the curriculum effectively supports the development of students’ argumentation skills; however, strengthening argumentation-based learning is necessary at earlier semesters to ensure more consistent progression. The findings provide important implications for the implementation of evidence-oriented and inquiry-driven instructional strategies in higher education.

Abstract

The increasing number of unemployed graduates in Indonesia illustrates the weak absorption capacity of the labor market. One solution is to cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit from the university level. This study aims to describe the influence of entrepreneurship courses on the entrepreneurial motivation of midwifery and education students in Ternate City. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with 40 student participants from Cahwala Midwifery Academy of North Maluku and ISDIK Kie Raha of North Maluku. Data were collected through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques, as well as source triangulation. The findings reveal that entrepreneurship courses positively influence students’ motivation to engage in entrepreneurship. Students reported feeling more confident, creative, and encouraged to develop businesses based on local potential. This study highlights the importance of optimizing practical entrepreneurship learning to support graduates’ readiness to become young entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the feasibility of multiple-choice questions on the topic of Professional Ethics in Finance and Accounting, which are compiled based on modules and e-books, and then tested online via Google Forms to 10th-grade high school and vocational high school students. The assessment covers four main aspects: validity, reliability, discriminatory power, and difficulty level using Anates software. A total of 25 students participated as respondents through a test designed according to the basic competencies in the professional ethics material. The analysis results show that the reliability of the questions is in the very high category with a value of 0.92. In terms of validity, the majority of the questions are in the very high category, followed by a small number in the high, low, and very low categories. The discriminatory power shows a variety of quality from very good to needing revision. The level of difficulty is generally in the moderate category, with some questions categorized as easy, very easy, and difficult. The distractor evaluation also indicates that there are answer options that are not functioning optimally. Overall, this instrument is considered suitable for use, although several components still need improvement to be able to measure students' abilities more accurately.

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has transformed the global entrepreneurial paradigm through the integration of digital technology, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data. These changes require the younger generation to have critical, creative, and adaptive thinking skills in response to digital transformation. However, in Indonesia, the entrepreneurial spirit still faces challenges such as low digital literacy, limited access to innovative financing, and weak cross-sector collaboration. This study aims to analyze effective strategies for fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era through a literature review of theories, research results, and the latest national policies. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with a literature review technique of scientific publications from 2019–2025 from various academic sources and official reports. The results of the study indicate that digital entrepreneurship education, strengthening the ecosystem based on the Quadruple Helix model, and the integration of national strategies such as Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka and the National Movement of 1000 Digital Startups are key to building the entrepreneurial character of generation 4.0. In addition, experiential learning, collaborative innovation, and mastery of digital literacy have been shown to increase students' entrepreneurial self-efficacy and creativity. Thus, fostering an entrepreneurial spirit in the digital era not only impacts economic growth but also serves as a fundamental strategy for building the nation's economic independence and resilience towards Digital Indonesia 2045.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian requires students to understand various types of texts, one of which is procedural texts, which explain the steps for carrying out an activity. However, procedural text learning in schools is often poorly connected to the local cultural context, thus not providing a relevant learning experience for students. This study aims to describe the integration of local Ternate vocabulary into procedural text learning for high school students and analyze its impact on text comprehension and cultural appreciation. The method used is descriptive qualitative research through classroom observations, student assignment analysis, and teacher interviews. The results show that the integration of local vocabulary, especially those related to culinary arts, traditional tools, and cultural activities, increases student engagement, enriches vocabulary, and strengthens understanding of procedural text structures. In addition, contextual learning based on local culture contributes to the preservation of regional languages ​​and the cultural identity of Ternate students. This study emphasizes the urgency of an ethnopedagogical approach in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model based on local wisdom in Economics learning as a strategy to foster entrepreneurial spirit among classes (X IPS) Muhamaddiyah high school students . The background of this research stems from the need for education that not only develops students’ understanding of economic concepts but also builds creative, innovative, and opportunity-oriented character. Integrating local wisdom into PjBL is believed to enrich students’ learning experiences through the utilization of cultural potential and local resources. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach involving Economics teachers and students as research subjects. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation throughout the learning process. The findings show that PjBL based on local wisdom can enhance students’ active engagement in designing, developing, and presenting products or projects with economic value. Furthermore, students demonstrated improvements in critical thinking, creativity, responsibility, and collaborative skills. This model also encourages students to better recognize regional potential and develop business ideas rooted in local traditions, making learning more relevant to real-life contexts. The implementation of PjBL provides meaningful and contextual learning experiences for students. Thus, the use of PjBL based on local wisdom can serve as an alternative instructional strategy in Economics learning to foster entrepreneurial spirit from an early age.
