Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Dasar Dan Karakter merupakan jurnal yang bergerak di bidang penelitian bidang pendidikan dasar yang mengakomodir pengintegrasian nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap aktivitas publikasi. Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Dasar dan Karakter diterbitkan dua kali dalam satu tahun, yaitu pada bulan Februari dan Agustus. Jurnal Riset Pendidikan Dasar dan karakter merupakan publikasi ilmiah yang bertujuan menyebarluaskan hasil-hasil penelitian Dosen dan Mahasiswa di bidang Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, serta tenaga pendidik di lingkup Sekolah Dasar/MI dan Pendidikan Guru Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini. Ruang Lingkup Riset meliputi bidang: Matematika SD, Pembelajaran IPA di SD, PKn SD, Pembelajaran IPS di SD, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, PAUD (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini), serta berbagai Inovasi Pembelajaran yang disarankan tetap mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai karakter dalam setiap publikasi.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas V SDN 35 Parak Karakah Kota Padang. Hal ini disebabkan dalam proses pembelajaran belum menuntut siswa untuk berfikir kritirs dan bekerjasama dalam kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN 35 Parak Karakah Kota Padang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimen Design dengan rancangan Posttest Only Control Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 35 Parak Karakah Kota Padang sebanyak 2 kelas (44 orang). Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan adalah total sampling dimana semua populasi dijadikan sampel, sehingga diperoleh kelas VB sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VA sebagai kelas kontrol. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan tes hasil belajar berupa soal objektif sebanyak 15 butir soal. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji t. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan uji-t dan menunjukkan thitung = 95,65 dan ttabel = 1,682 dengan db = 42 (n1+n2-2 = 23+21-2= 42), dimana thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel dengan demikian H0 ditolak H1 diterima. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan model Kooperatif tipe Team Games Tournament (TGT) memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa di kelas V SDN 35 Parak Karakah Kota Padang pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that the social emotional of Children is still not developing as expected, where in block play activities, children only want to play alone and do not allow their friends to participate in helping, then the children choose friends to play with him, and in playing children don’t follow the rules and don’t want to queue up to wait their turn. For this reason, researchers are interested in improving children’s social emotional through the tradisional sonlah/engklek game. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement of children’s social emotional trough traditional sonlah/engklek game. The Research method used is a qualitative method with a literatur approach with data collection techniques and data sources obtained from reference books and journals relevant to the Research problem. After obtaining the required data , then the data will be analyzed by connecting the problem with relevant concepts and theories. The results of the research obtained from this study indicated that the traditional sonlah/engklek game is a folk game that is usually played together or in groups so that the traditional sonlah/engklek game can improve aspects of children’s social emotional such as having skills in working together, skills in adapting interacting, adaptibility, self-control, skills in empathy, obeying rules, and skills in respecting others. So in this study it can be concluded that the social emotional of children can be improved through the traditional sonlah/engklek game

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem that the child has not been able to do simple scientific experiments and the child is still unable to recognize cause and effect about the environment. This study aims to improve the science skills of children aged 5-6 years through a simple experiment of mixing colors at the Daud Kholifatulloh Islamic Kindergarten in Padang. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings. While the data analysis technique uses a percentage formula and uses a frequency distribution table. The research procedure starts from planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The results of each cycle showed an increase in the child's ability to do simple scientific experiments and recognize cause and effect about the surrounding environment through a simple experiment of mixing colors at Daud Kholifatulloh Islamic Kindergarten, Padang. Through a simple experiment of mixing colors in conducting simple scientific experiments in pre-action 0% increased in cycle I to 30% and increased again in cycle II to 80%. Meanwhile, in recognizing the cause and effect of the surrounding environment in pre-action, 0% increased in the first cycle to 40% and increased again in the second cycle to 90%. So it can be concluded that a simple experiment of mixing colors can improve the scientific skills of children aged 5-6 years at Daud Kholifatulloh Islamic Kindergarten, Padang.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of developing learning media used by teachers in the learning process. The main objective of this research is to produce an ICT-based learning media product in the form of Macromedia Flash 8 which refers to the 2013 Curriculum and to describe the quality of ICT-based learning media products referring to the 2013 SD Curriculum. This type of research is development research. The development procedure used in this study consists of 4 steps, namely: 1) Define, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Dissemination (Dissemination). The instrument used in this study was the learning media validation instrument sheet. The validation instrument was used to determine the validity of the designed Macromedia Flash 8 media. Validation is carried out by design experts and material experts. The results showed that ICT-based learning media in Integrated Thematic learning in grade IV SD is very valid when used in learning. This is evidenced by (1) the results of expert validation "Y" in ICT-based learning media are included in the criteria of "very valid" with a score of 95.83%. (2) the results of expert validation "FOF" ICT-based learning media are included in the "very valid" criteria with a score of 95.83%. (3) the results of expert validation "A" ICT-based learning media are included in the criteria "very valid" with a score of 93,75%. Thus, the developed ICT-based learning media is very valid if used as a medium in the learning process.

Abstract

This study examines how the ideal principal leadership in the new normal is to improve the quality of education. The existence of Covid-19 is a factor that accelerates humans to make changes. From the literature study conducted, it can be concluded that in conditions of massive change, leaders are needed to respond quickly, agile and deftly to respond to situations appropriately. So transformational leadership competence is needed in the new normal situation. This change is referred to by many as the educational revolution. Therefore, it is imperative that the principal with all his potential and his surroundings must collaborate to bring the best education for students in improving the quality of education. Abstract

Form a complete Indonesian man depicted in the description of the National Education Goals faithful, pious, virtuous, intelligent, skilled and healthy. Description of the National Education Goals can essentially be used as a parameter nationally desired generation born from the process of education in Indonesia. The 21st century is marked by the challenges of globalization in almost all sectors of life both in economics, culture, education, technology. Facing the challenges of the 21st century, we need a reliable human resources capable of critical thinking, moral good, skilled and intelligent collaboration. Indonesian Golden Generation is the generation of reliable and is expected to appear on the 100th anniversary of Indonesia's independence (2045) future. Desired Golden Generation is the generation that is able to compete internationally but mastering excellence Indonesia's natural resources in an attempt to survive the threat of globalization of the world. Therefore, it is necessary to develop parameters golden generation of local excellence in the development of education in Indonesia.

Abstract

Surau merupakan salah satu bangunan yang cukup penting bagi masyarakat Minangkabau. Keberadaan Surau bahkan sudah ada sejak Islam masuk ke wilayang Minangkabau, yaitu pada zaman Hindu-Budha. Surau digunakan sebagai bangunan kebudayaan dan adat. Surau menjadi tempat untuk mempelajari adat, musyawarah, dan membahas hal-hal yang dapat memberikan solusi ideal terhadap problem sosial yang terjadi dalam masyarakat. Sebelum datangnya Islam, surau telah menempati struktur sosial yang sangat penting dalam masyarakat Minangkabau sehingga bangunan surau tidak diganti dengan bangunan simbol Islam, yaitu masjid. Surau ternyata tidak hanya ada di Minang, surau kemudian dibawa oleh perantau-perantau Minang ke tempat tinggal mereka yang baru. Ini dikarenakan surau merupakan institusi yang berfungsi untuk mengembangkan nilai-nilai moral agama dan budaya di Minangkabau

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di SMPN 2 Lubuk Basung belum mencapai kriteria ketuntasan. Berdasarkan data, siswa mengalami kesulitan saat menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh model pembelajaran yang diterapkan belum memberikan soal pemecahan masalah dan juga model pembelajaran kurang bervariasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh Model M-A-S-T-E-R terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan empat instrumen yaitu lembar observasi, soal tes pemecahan masalah matematika, catatan lapangan dan dokumentasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Teknik analisis data dengan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa ketuntasan kemampaun pemecahan masalah matematika meningkat dari 55,6% menjadi 78,37%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan menggunakan Model M-A-S-T-E-R dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas VIII3 SMP Negeri 2 Lubuk Basung.

Abstract

This research was motivated during the learning process at the preparation center, with the activity of sticking, the child was not able to paste the numbers according to the number of orange trees and when the teacher asked how many orange trees, the child was not able to add how many orange trees. This study aims to improve cognitive abilities of children aged 4-5 years through the traditional game of congklak in Al-Ziqri Kindergarten, Padang City. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings. While the data analysis technique uses the percentage formula and uses a frequency distribution table. Research procedures ranging from planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the research from each cycle carried out showed that there was an increase in cognitive abilities in children in counting many objects from one to ten and recognizing the concept of numbers through congklak traditional game activities. Including the traditional games activity of congklak in counting many objects one to ten in the pre-action 20%, continuing to cycle I with a result of 26%, in cycle II with a result of 83%. While the ability to recognize the concept of numbers in pre-action 10% continues to cycle I with a result of 30% in cycle II with result of 80%. It can be concluded that the traditional game of congklak can increase the cognitive level of children aged 4-5 years in Al-Ziqri Kindergarten, Padang City.

Abstract

There are many English teaching materials that available for English teaching, but English teaching materials oriented to High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are the important thing that must be provided in the classroom to fulfill students’ needs in this 4.0 era. HOTS can stimulate students to apply, analyze, evaluate, and think creatively in and outside the classroom. This study is the analysis of the student’s need for English teaching materials oriented to High Order Thinking Skills in STKIP Adzkia. This research was conducted on the first-year students of STKIP Adzkia in the year 2019/2020. The sample of this study was 40 students from 147 students who were chosen randomly. The instrument in this research was a questionnaire. The questionnaire was designed to get information about the learners’ need for English materials integrated into high order thinking skills. The data were analyzed by using the descriptive method. The findings suggest that students of STKIP Adzkia need English teaching materials that are oriented to High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).
