Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk interaksi sosial. Salah satu aplikasi AI yang semakin populer adalah sebagai teman virtual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi persepsi, preferensi, dan dampak penggunaan AI sebagai teman virtual melalui survei terhadap 330 responden dari berbagai latar belakang usia dan profesi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil dengan teknik Porpusive sampling dengan rentang usia 16-60 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan model TAM sebagai acuan dasar untuk menyelesaikan masalahnya. TAM memiliki empat konstruksi utama: persepsi kemudahan pengguna (perceived ease of use), persepsi kegunaan (perceived usefulness), sikap pengguna (attiude torward using) dan pengguna sebenarnya (actual usage). Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan 72% responden merasa nyaman berinteraksi dengan AI sebagai teman virtual, terutama dalam kepuasan penggunaan AI. Namun, 53,3% responden mengungkapkan kekhawatiran terkait data privasi dan 30,2% reponden takut ketergantungan emosional pada AI. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa AI sebagai teman virtual memiliki potensi besar untuk memberikan dukungan emosional dan sosial, namun perlu adanya regulasi dan etika yang jelas untuk mengatasi tantangan yang muncul sehingga penggunaan AI bisa lebih jelas manfaatnya.

Abstract

The counselor's personality is very important for establishing a therapeutic relationship with the counselee, such as the personality according to Carl Rogers, namely unconditional positive regard and sincerity, the counselor can develop a good relationship with the student/counselee so that the counselee has an interest in conducting counseling to solve problems. The aim of this research is to determine the profile of unconditional positive regard and sincerity in fostering interest in counseling at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Surabaya. This research used 68 students as subjects using random sampling techniques. For this research instrument, the researcher used a sincerity and unconditional acceptance questionnaire based on Rogers' theory. The data analysis technique uses descriptive percentages, based on the results of this research, it shows that a) n-conditional positive regard based on students' perspectives is classified as very high with a percentage score of 64.7%, while b) counselor sincerity based on students' perspectives is classified as high with a percentage score of 61.8%. This research shows that the counselor's unconditional positive regard and sincerity have a positive impact on fostering interest in counseling.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship between Self-Regulation and Narcissistic Tendency in students with the research subject consisting of 70 students who are in the social sphere, the majority of whom have a sense of efficacy to anticipate themselves through social media. Posting their activities and personal life through social media in the hope of getting notice or praise from others reduces the sense of empathy, self-esteem, and self-control included in the self-regulation system. Data collection in this study uses the Self-Regulation scale and the Narcissistic Tendencies Scale. The data analysis techniques used were the normality test through SPSS statistic 25 (sig. 0.200 > 0.05 value) and the linearity test (sig. 0.307 > 0.05 value). From the value of the Pearson correlation test, it is known that the significance value of -0.827 > 0.05 between the two variables can be said to be a relationship between the self-regulation variable (X) and narcissistic tendency (Y) which means that the relationship is strongly correlated and has a negative effect.

Abstract

Internet sudah menjadi kebutuhan pelajar dalam menyelesaikan tugas sekolah. Namun internet juga memberikan dampak negatif pada anak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui, 1) Gambaran penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan oleh anak, 2) Dampak negatif kecanduan gadget pada anak, 3) Peran pengasuhan orang tua di Era digital.  Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode naratif. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak usia sekolah, yang merupakan binaan Rumah Keluarga Indonesia (RKI) kecamatan Makasar, Jakarta Timur. Penelitian ini menggunakan pedoman wawancara sebagai alat bantu dalam pengumpulan data. Kemudian data dianalisis dengan menggunakan model interaktif dari Milles & Huberman dengan tahapan reduksi data, display data, dan simpulan berupa gambar. Hasil Penelitian ini adalah : 1) Penggunaan gadget pada anak usia sekolah saat ini lebih intensif terlebih pasca pendemi, dimana anak-anak pernah melalui masa sekolah online yang mau tidak mau para orang tua memfasilitasi anak dengan gadget dan kuota internet. Sehingga anak terbiasa mengakses bebas internet. Bahkan, sebagian besar anak-anak sudah masuk dalam kategori kecanduan penggunaan getget. 2) Dampak negatif penggunaan getget yang bisa dirasakan saat ini, terutama oleh orang tua adalah, anak-anak jadi susah dikontrol, menjadi anti sosial, terkesan tidak peduli dengan dunia sekitarnya, cenderung emosional, bahkan dunia maya yang mudah diakses saat ini, menjadi jembatan anak-anak dengan dunia kekerasan, bulliying, dan juga pornografi. 3) Peran pengasuhan yang bisa dilakukan orang tua adalah, memahami teknologi, menjalin komunikasi yang erat, mengajarkan keamanan, mengatur penggunaan waktu yang seimbang, dan menjadi panutan yang baik, orang tua dapat membantu anak untuk mengembangkan kemampuan teknologi yang bijak.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of self-esteem on narcissistic tendencies among Instagram users at SMK Negeri 41 Jakarta. In the current digital era, social media platforms like Instagram play a crucial role in adolescents' lives, potentially influencing their self-perception and social interactions. This research employs a quantitative method with a survey design to identify and analyze the impact of self-esteem on narcissistic behavior among students using Instagram at SMK Negeri 41 Jakarta. Data were collected using a questionnaire from a population of 281 individuals, selected through random sampling techniques and the Slovin formula. The instrument used was a questionnaire adapted from relevant theses. Data analysis involved normality and linearity tests. The normality test results showed a sig. (2-tailed) value for self-esteem of 0.001 and for narcissism of 1.802. Since the Asymp. sig. (2-tailed) values for both self-esteem and narcissism are greater than 0.05, the data are normally distributed. Additionally, the linearity test showed an F (Linearity) value of 46.354, which is greater than 0.05, indicating a significant linear relationship between self-esteem (X) and narcissistic tendencies (Y).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate relational aggression if any, the detrimental consequences of relational aggression for eighth-grade students’ psychological well-being at one of the junior high schools in Jakarta. The present research utilized a quantitative correlational research design involving 150 students, randomly selected. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple regression with IBM SPSS version 20. The research report showed a significance value of .000 (p < .005); with a t value of –10.054 indicating relational aggression had a significant negative impact on the students’ psychological well-being. The negative t-value indicates an inverse correlation between relational aggression the students’ psychological well-being; the higher the relational aggression the less psychological well-being students exhibited on the measure. The R Square value of 0.406 indicates that relational aggression accounted for 40.6% in the variance for psychological well-being. While the remaining variance of 59.4% would be indicating variables not previously assessed in this study. The model provides a suitable account to predict psychological well-being. Relational aggression must be taken into consideration if we expect to promote positive mental health for students.

Abstract

The increasing tendency of adolescents to adopt a hedonistic lifestyle, characterized by hedonistic behavior and the pursuit of pleasure, has become a concern in schools. One factor that can counteract this tendency is self-efficacy, or an individual's belief in their ability to regulate behavior and face challenges. This study aims to identify the self-efficacy profile of eleventh-grade students at SMAN 44 East Jakarta, describe their hedonistic lifestyle tendencies, and examine the influence of self-efficacy on this lifestyle. The population consisted of 120 students, with a sample of 80 selected using the Slovin formula and purposive sampling. The research instruments included the Self-Efficacy Scale (SES), based on Bandura's indicators (magnitude, generality, strength), and the Hedonistic Lifestyle Scale (HLS), based on Engel's indicators (consumption, pleasure seeking, peer conformity). Instrument validity was tested with Pearson correlation and reliability with Cronbach's Alpha, resulting in α = 0.87 for self-efficacy and α = 0.85 for hedonistic lifestyle. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean, percentage, and distribution by gender) and simple linear regression with SPSS. The results showed that self-efficacy had a significant and negative effect on hedonistic lifestyle (p = 0.01 < 0.05), with R² = 0.390. This indicates that self-efficacy explains 39% of the variance, while 61% is influenced by other factors. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening self-efficacy to reduce students' hedonistic tendencies, which provides practical implications for guidance and counseling interventions in schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM), Upah Minimum Provinsi (UMP), dan inflasi terhadap tingkat kemiskinan di Provinsi Maluku selama periode 2005 hingga 2023. Data yang digunakan merupakan data sekunder dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Provinsi Maluku dalam bentuk deret waktu. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi berganda dengan desain korelasional prediktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan ketiga variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kemiskinan. Secara parsial, UMP dan inflasi berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap kemiskinan, sedangkan IPM justru menunjukkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan IPM belum sepenuhnya diikuti oleh pemerataan kesejahteraan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar kebijakan pembangunan lebih menekankan pada aspek pemerataan agar efektif dalam mengurangi kemiskinan.

Abstract

Dinamika relasi antara pekerja sosial dan klien dalam tahapan pendampingan asesmen awal merupakan aspek kritis dalam praktik pekerjaan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis interaksi, tantangan, dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi hubungan profesional antara pekerja sosial dan klien selama proses asesmen awal. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui studi literatur sehingga mengidentifikasi bahwa asesmen awal tidak hanya bersifat teknis tetapi juga melibatkan dimensi relasional yang kompleks. Keberhasilan asesmen sangat dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan pekerja sosial dalam membangun kepercayaan, komunikasi efektif, serta sensitivitas terhadap kebutuhan dan konteks sosial klien. Di sisi lain, faktor seperti bias profesional, keterbatasan waktu, dan hambatan struktural dapat menghambat dinamika relasi yang optimal. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa pendekatan berbasis kekuatan (strengths-based approach) dan partisipatif mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan klien, sehingga asesmen menjadi lebih holistik dan akurat. Implikasi dari temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan pekerja sosial dalam keterampilan interpersonal serta pengembangan kebijakan pendampingan yang berorientasi pada hak dan kebutuhan klien. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam memahami kompleksitas relasi pekerja sosial-klien sekaligus rekomendasi praktis untuk meningkatkan efektivitas asesmen awal dalam intervensi pekerjaan sosial.

Abstract

Adolescents face various developmental challenges, ranging from academic demands, social relationships, to the search for identity, all of which can affect how they assess themselves. This study aims to determine the effect of body image on students' self-confidence and its implications for guidance and counseling services. The research design used a quantitative correlational approach. The study sample consisted of 138 grade 10 students selected using a stratified random sampling method. The instruments used were the Body Image Inventory and the self-confidence Inventory. Data analysis was carried out using simple regression techniques and correlational analysis. The results showed that body image significantly influenced students' self-confidence. In addition, it was found that adolescents' self-confidence was in the moderate category, body image was in the neutral category, and both had a significant positive relationship.
