Abstract

In the modern era like now, there are many activities that use technology, especially in the world of education. Technology is said to be important to apply in the process of teaching and learning activities. Seeing this statement and visiting partners directly, some students are still having problems using technology, especially using the Canva Platform which is often used in the learning process, especially for designing posters and product labels. For this reason, there is a need for training for students to be able to apply technology well. This training was carried out with partners, namely SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kertanegara, Purbalingga Regency, which was carried out offline. The training participants themselves, namely all grade 8 students, use non-premium Canva so that students do not need to pay to access and search for poster templates and labels to use. The aim of this training is to improve the ability of students at SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Kertanegara to be able to make posters and product labels using the Canva application. The conclusion from this activity is that this activity is useful in introducing the world of graphic design and can improve students' abilities in designing effective and attractive posters and product labels using Canva.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the presentation skills of MTs Mambaul 'Ulum Jetak students. Activities are carried out using socialization methods and face-to-face public speaking training by applying theoretical and practical learning. The approach is carried out by means of interviews to look for problems then followed by training activities as an implementation of problem solutions. Problems are obtained and discussed during socialization and problem solving during training sessions. The results of the activity showed that MTs Mambaul 'ulum Jetak students were able to improve their communication skills in presentation activities in class so that this could also support learning activities

Abstract

The availability of professional human resources, especially teachers, is the most important capital to improve the quality of human resources, especially in the field of education, therefore efforts are needed to improve the understanding and ability of teaching staff in keeping up with information technology developments and utilizing these technological facilities in teaching and learning activities in schools. Education in the digital era requires innovative approaches to improve students' literacy and numeracy. One of the solutions carried out is the implementation of web-based learning media, which has great potential in supporting the learning process in the midst of the dynamics of technological developments. This service aims to explain and analyze the implementation of learning media using web-based canva as an effort to support literacy and numeracy in the digital era. Presentation methods, training and independent practice are the methods used so that teachers can make interesting percentages, learning videos, storybooks, worksheets on literacy and numeracy themed subjects based on the web after the implementation of a series of skill development training activities and skills to teachers at SDN Handil Bakti 2, there is an increase in the abilities and skills of teachers by an average of 59% in terms of making Web-Based media to support Literacy and Numeracy in the Digital Era

Abstract

Indonesia is a democratic country, one of the indicators of a democratic country is the holding of general elections in the process of filling political positions. The election process in Indonesia is carried out to elect the President and Vice President, DPD, DPR, Provincial DPRD and Regency/City DPRD. In addition, general elections are held to elect the Governor and Deputy Governor, Regent and Deputy Regent or Mayor and Deputy Mayor. The implementation of the Election to elect the President and Vice President, DPD, DPR, Provincial DPRD and Regency/City DPRD in 2024 was held on February 14, 2024. Meanwhile, the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor, Regent and Deputy Regent or Mayor and Deputy Mayor will be held on November 27, 2024. Based on the stages of the implementation of the 2024 regional head elections, Bawaslu needs to analyze the stages of implementation and analyze potential vulnerabilities in the implementation of the 2024 elections. Based on this analysis, it is necessary to prepare preventive measures involving various election stakeholders. The results of this analysis are used as provisions for supervisors at the regional level. Bawaslu Kebumen needs to strengthen the institution internally, emphasizing the importance of mastery of technical matters related to supervision, prevention, dispute resolution, work area analysis, and prevention cooperation efforts through various activities.

Abstract

The quality of college graduates can be influenced by selection to enter State Universities (PTN). Therefore, the PTN selection process is an important aspect that needs to be paid attention to by prospective students, parents and the wider community. This service activity aims to provide training on scholastic potential test questions and increase the graduation percentage of Gamaliel Makassar High School students at PTN. The method used is lectures and providing training in taking scholastic potential tests, especially mathematical reasoning. The training participants were 50 class XII students at SMA Gamaliel Makassar. The results of this activity increase students' ability to understand and take scholastic potential tests, especially mathematical reasoning through practice.

Abstract

Pada era disrupsi, perubahan sistem dan tatanan sosial menuntut pelaku usaha kecil dan menengah untuk beradaptasi, termasuk Industri Rumah Tangga (IRT) di bidang makanan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan dalam branding dan pemasaran digital kepada IRT Sambel Pecel di Kelurahan Manggala, Kecamatan Manggala, Kota Makassar. Metode pendampingan dilakukan secara langsung melalui beberapa tahapan, termasuk perencanaan, pelaksanaan, hingga evaluasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terciptanya desain label produk (brand) dan akun Instagram Sampel Pecel Kanaya sebagai media pemasaran daring. Kegiatan ini juga memunculkan perubahan pola pikir mitra mengenai pentingnya branding dan strategi pemasaran dalam menjaga keberlangsungan usaha. Dengan adanya branding yang kuat dan strategi digital marketing yang tepat, mitra dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan menjawab tantangan di era disrupsi ini.

Abstract

Students who want to become entrepreneurs need to understand how to manage their business finances. Financial reporting serves as a valuable tool in assessing the financial performance of a business. It can point out potential problems, as well as decision-making that drives business growth. Many students have difficulty documenting financial reports clearly, in detail, and systematically when starting a business. To overcome this, this activity aims to provide insight related to entrepreneurial financial management to the students of Pondok Pesantren Mahasiswa (PPM) Tebu Falah, so that students are able to make simple accounting records and produce financial reports. The training material focuses on accounting records and financial reporting, through the use of a combination of 3 exposure methods, namely: lectures, tutorials, and discussions. Through this training, students will gain additional skills in making simple accounting records and producing financial reports as expected.

Abstract

Everyone must experience problems, and everyone must have had problems, because problems teach a person to be more mature. The form of individual expression when facing problems is different. Some isolate themselves from the crowd and other people, meet other people for example counselors just to tell what disturbs their thoughts, feelings and self. However, there are also those who write down every incident and event that disturbs their thoughts, feelings and self as a diary, then immortalize it as a diary or diary as a form of expression. Therefore, this community service activity generally aims to help counselees strengthen their capacity in undergoing life problems through a series of mentoring activities for counselees in Peer Counselor Community. This community service activity can empower the counselee to keep struggling in his life path. The method of implementing this service starts from (1) preparation, (2) preparation of materials, (3) introduction, (4) training, (5) closing, and (6) reporting. Technical data analysis used using SPSS 26 using the Wilcoxon test to determine differences in mental health conditions before and after training. The results of the implementation of the service that there is an effect of writing for healing training to improve students' mental health.

Abstract

Socialization of organic fertilizer for horticultural crops aims to provide information regarding the benefits of using organic fertilizer for sustainable agriculture, providing education on making organic fertilizer from agricultural waste. This community service activity was carried out in Central Kuta Village, Karo Regency. Participants in this activity were 35 people from Central Kuta Village, Karo Regency. They work as farmers on horticultural crops such as vegetables and fruit. The methods used were lectures, demonstrations and discussions regarding the benefits of organic fertilizer and how to make organic fertilizer using agricultural waste. The results of service activities show that there is community awareness and interest in processing agricultural waste into organic fertilizer. This is proven by the appreciation and enthusiasm of the community in discussions. People are interested in using their agricultural waste to be processed into organic fertilizer because it can maintain soil fertility or improve soil structure and from an economic perspective it is enough to minimize the budget for purchasing fertilizer.

Abstract

Graphic design skills are one of the skills that are increasingly needed in the digital era, both in the world of education and the creative industry. However, limited access and lack of training make high school students, especially at SMAN 1 Gowa, not have adequate skills in this field. This service aims to improve students' creativity and digital skills through practice-based graphic design training. Methods used include interactive lectures, live demonstrations, and self-practice using Adobe Photoshop and Canva software. This activity was attended by 30 students who were selected based on their interest and interest in graphic design. The results of the evaluation showed that 85% of the participants were able to understand the basic concepts of graphic design and produce simple design works with a good level of creativity. In addition, this training also increases students' confidence in participating in various design competitions and extracurricular activities. The conclusion of this activity is that graphic design training has a positive impact on the development of students' skills, as well as opening opportunities for them to contribute to school promotion activities and other creative projects.
