Abstract

SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) is a statistical analysis software widely used in quantitative research. A socialization program on SPSS usage for students of the Faculty of Mathematics, Natural and Earth Sciences (FMIPAK) at Manado State University (UNIMA) aimed to enhance their understanding and skills in data processing, result interpretation, and overcoming challenges such as limited statistical uses and software access. The activity was conducted through three main stages: introduction to the SPSS interface, technical training (descriptive analysis, parametric and non-parametric tests), and consultation sessions to address specific student inquiries. Active participation indicated high enthusiasm, with evaluation results showing an improved ability to operate SPSS and interpret analytical outputs independently. Technical issues, such as internet connectivity during software downloads, provided lessons for future event preparations. This program not only supports academic tasks (e.g., thesis completion) but also equips students with analytical competencies relevant to professional settings. Training programs are necessary to strengthen mastery of modern statistical tools, ensuring students are prepared for research challenges and competitive job market demands.

Abstract

Social media has become an effective tool for promoting products and services, especially for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, many MSME players, particularly those running angkringan-type businesses, still lack the knowledge and skills to use social media effectively to increase sales and expand customer reach. The objective of this community service activity is to enhance MSME players’ understanding of the importance of social media marketing, and to equip them with effective digital marketing strategies. The method employed involves training sessions that begin with a presentation on optimizing social media for marketing purposes, delivered by resource persons, and continue with practical sessions where MSME participants apply digital promotion techniques. The results of this activity indicate an improvement in participants' knowledge and understanding of social media marketing strategies, as reflected in their ability to implement the tools and techniques introduced during the training.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan lahan yang tidak terpakai dengan membudidayakan Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA) sebagai solusi berkelanjutan untuk kesehatan masyarakat. Program ini dilakukan di Desa Bersujud dengan menggunakan pendekatan Pendidikan dan Partisipatif (EAP). Kegiatan termasuk mengidentifikasi lahan potensial, melakukan survei lapangan, pembukaan lahan, dan penanaman langsung TOGA yang melibatkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat. Bibit tanaman disediakan oleh tim pengabdian untuk mendukung proses budidaya. Sesi edukasi dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang manfaat TOGA dalam menjaga kesehatan dan potensi ekonominya. Pemanfaatan TOGA diharapkan dapat mengurangi biaya pengobatan rumah tangga, melestarikan keanekaragaman hayati lokal, dan mengubah lahan kosong menjadi sumber daya produktif. Selain itu, inisiatif ini memperkuat kohesi sosial melalui aksi kolektif. Hasil yang diharapkan termasuk peningkatan kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang kesehatan berbasis tanaman obat dan penciptaan lingkungan yang lebih sehat dan produktif melalui penggunaan TOGA yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Edutourism is very suitable to be implemented in agrotourism areas. In addition to getting education, tourists will also be treated to natural beauty and agricultural products. This is the basis for this research to develop edutourism in Nursery Fruit Garden. The development of the Edutourism Concept in Nursery Fruit Garden that will be carried out is grafting edutourism and plant nursery cultivation edutourism. In addition, development will also be carried out in the marketing field to increase visitor enthusiasm and also to increase income. The method used in this study is the best practice analogy. The best practice analogy method is carried out by searching for data and literature studies and benchmarking to determine the image of the Fruit Garden area so that the best image is formed. The results of the research on the development of the edutourism concept that was carried out showed positive results. This can be seen from the increase in the number of visitors and the increase in additional competence of garden managers and field assistants.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to develop the potential of agricultural land into an educational tourism destination at Kebun Buah Nursery. Agricultural educational tourism is an alternative strategy in increasing the economic and educational value of agricultural land, while providing learning experiences to the community and students about fruit plant cultivation. This community service activity was carried out in Negara Beringin Village, Sinembah Tanjung Muda Hilir District, Deli Serdang Regency. Participants in this activity were 35 people from Negara Beringin Village, Sinembah Tanjung Muda Hilir District, Deli Serdang Regency. This activity was carried out through a participatory and collaborative approach with local farmers, the local community, and related stakeholders. The results of the activity showed an increase in community understanding of educational tourism potential, as well as the preparation of a design for an agricultural educational tourism area based on local potential. The community is interested in utilizing their agriculture to be processed into tourism because it can maintain plant sustainability or increase sales and from an economic perspective it can improve community welfare.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service activity is to provide an understanding of the importance of understanding the characteristics and types of illegal investments to minimize financial risks for mothers who are members of the Family Empowerment and Welfare (PKK) RW 07, Jombang Village. The method used in implementing community service activities is material presentation. The technique used in implementing community service activities is brainstorming and discussion with 25 (twenty five) participants at PKK RW 07 Jalan Sumatera Kampung Rawa Lele RT 004 RW 007, Jombang Village, Ciputat District, South Tangerang City, Banten 15414. Abstract

Djasmine Bordir MSME, located in Kudus, faces several major challenges in business development, particularly in terms of production capacity and marketing. The problems encountered include a shortage of skilled labor, manual production processes that result in low efficiency and production capacity, as well as conventional marketing strategies that limit market reach. To address these issues, this community service activity aims to enhance the competitiveness of Djasmine Bordir MSME by providing computerized embroidery machines and digital marketing training. The methods implemented in this program include training on the use of computerized embroidery machines to improve workforce skills, intensive assistance during the production process, as well as training and mentoring in digital marketing to enable products to reach a wider market. In addition, regular monitoring and evaluation are conducted at each stage to ensure the effectiveness of the program. The expected outcomes of this activity are increased production capacity, improved production efficiency, and expanded market reach through the utilization of digital technology. With this intervention, it is hoped that there will be an increase in turnover, operational efficiency, and the sustainability of Djasmine Bordir MSME, thereby contributing to local economic growth and community empowerment.

Abstract

The availability of professional human resources, especially teachers, is the primary capital to improve the quality of human resources, particularly in the field of education. Therefore, efforts are needed to enhance the understanding and abilities of educators in keeping up with technological advancements and utilizing these technological facilities in teaching and learning activities in schools. At SD Negeri Jelapat II.I, there is a limitation in utilizing technological media for learning, which is integrated with AI as part of the learning process. Many teachers still use conventional methods that are not engaging for students, which can affect the low motivation and learning outcomes of students. Presentation methods such as socialization activities to enhance knowledge, training and mentoring methods, as well as self-practice methods can improve participants' skills in using learning media from Canva AI, Quiziiz, Wordwall, and applications like ChatGpt, Meta, and Gemini to enhance the competencies of teachers at SD Negeri Jelapat II.I. after the implementation of a series of training activities for the development of skills and expertise for teachers at SD Negeri Jelapat II.I. there has been an increase in the abilities and skills of the teachers by an average of 59,5% in terms of creating AI-based web media.

Abstract

Digital transformation has brought significant changes across various aspects of life, including the dissemination of information and religious practices. In the context of mosques, high-quality audiovisual documentation has become an effective strategy to enhance the visibility and role of mosques as centers of religious, social, and educational activities. However, observations of IPNU and IPPNU youth in Banyumas Regency indicate that there are still challenges in utilizing this technology, particularly in producing high-quality mosque profile videos. The main obstacles include a lack of technical skills in video production, limited access to production equipment, and a lack of understanding of effective digital content strategies. As a solution to these issues, the Mosque Profile Video Production Training Program was designed to equip mosque youth with video production skills, including cinematography techniques, scriptwriting, editing, and digital publishing strategies. In addition, this program also aims to help participants optimize the use of mosque social media as a more engaging platform for da’wah and public outreach. This training is intended to improve the quality of mosque audiovisual documentation, encourage innovation in digital da’wah, and strengthen youth involvement in utilizing technology as a broader and more effective means of Islamic propagation.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship training, including creating business proposals and pitch decks to attract investors, is an activity required of lecturers to fulfill the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This training serves as a transfer of knowledge relevant to their field of study and duties as lecturers. This business proposal and pitch deck training is expected to equip participants with the skills to properly start a business, thereby ensuring its continued growth and attracting investors. This training is a collaboration between the UPKK UIN Antasari Banjarmasin and practitioners and professionals in their respective fields, providing useful and easily applicable materials to participants. The results of this training are expected to provide knowledge and share experiences with participants.
