Jurnal Keislaman is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (March and September). Jurnal Keislaman is published online by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Taruna Surabaya in March 2018 as a continuation to the previously printed journal, which was initially published in 2012. Jurnal Keislaman was registered as p-ISSN (2089-7413) and e-ISSN (2722-7804) at BRIN. Jurnal Keislaman has been a member of crossref with DOI prefix 10.54298. Therefore, each article has a unique DOI number.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of collaborative methods in learning Islamic religious education to increase student participation. The research method used in this study is field qualitative method. Collaborative method is an approach that emphasises cooperation between individuals or groups to achieve a common goal. Collaborative method in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) refers to a learning approach that prioritises cooperation between students in groups to achieve common goals in learning. In this method, students are invited to discuss with each other, share knowledge, and work together in solving tasks or problems related to Islamic learning materials. A concrete example in the application of collaborative methods by doing practical tasks to students. Factors affecting success in the application of collaborative methods in Islamic learning depend heavily on student participation. And a conducive classroom atmosphere is a factor in the success of collaborative learning methods.

Abstract

This research is a type of development research or Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. Data collection techniques in this study were through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively. The results of the study showed that the development of QR Code-based teaching materials was carried out through five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the development of these teaching materials are suitable for use as teaching materials in class X in the PAI subject at SMAN 15 Surabaya. Student learning interest in the experimental class reached 87.26% with a very good category while the control class reached 81% with a very good category. So, the percentage of learning interest in the experimental class is greater than the control class. The development of QR Code-based teaching materials to increase student learning interest in the PAI subject at SMAN 15 Surabaya can be seen from the results of the unpaired sample t-test analysis through the SPSS version 26 application with a significance level of 0.05 obtained Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 (0.000 <0.05). So Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that the development of QR Code-based teaching materials can increase students' interest in learning Islamic Religious Education subjects in class X at SMAN 15 Surabaya.

Abstract

A harmonious household is the dream of every couple. This study aims to analyze the role of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid in building family life and analyzing the concept of household in the perspective of KH. Abdurrahman Wahid's gender. This type of research is library research using a qualitative research approach. The object of this research is the concept of a good household which is analyzed through Gus Dur's gender perspective. This study uses two sources of data, namely primary data and secondary data. The results of the discussion show that the concept of a gender-equitable household in Gus Dur's perspective is a household concept that prioritizes the principles of equality, interdependence and justice. In a household, each individual must respect each other's differences. There are at least three important points that can be taken as a reference in building a gender-equitable household. First, respect each other both husband and man. Second, a husband must help his wife's domestic work. Third, as parents, especially fathers, they must free their children to make their own life choices.

Abstract

This research discusses the concept of "Baiti Jannati" or "My Home is My Paradise" as an ideal in forming a harmonious family (usrah sakinah) among the asatidzah (Islamic teachers) of Sekolah Tinggi Dirasat Islamiyah. Emphasizing Islamic values and the teachings of the Qur'an and Hadith, this paper analyzes the importance of the roles of husbands and wives in creating a harmonious and happy household. Using a qualitative method involving interviews with 11 asatidzah, this study identifies key elements required to achieve family harmony and the faktors that may hinder the implementation of this concept. The results indicate that the application of religious values and effective communication between spouses are vital aspects in creating an ideal family. Enhancing moral education within the family environment is also recommended to strengthen the foundation of the "Baiti Jannati" concept in daily practice.

Abstract

Through the study of philosophy, education not only functions as a means of transferring knowledge, but also as a vehicle for character building, critical thinking, and social awareness of students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method, which aims to analyze the implications of philosophy for modern education. Data were obtained from various sources of academic literature, including books, scientific journals, and education policy documents. The data analysis technique was conducted through content analysis, by examining various philosophical concepts and their application in the contemporary education system. The results show that philosophical thinking contributes to shaping an adaptive curriculum, innovative learning methods, and the role of teachers as facilitators in the educational process. In addition, philosophy also plays a role in designing educational policies that are responsive to social and technological changes. By understanding the relevance of philosophy in education, it is hoped that the modern education system can produce individuals who are not only academically competent, but also have high moral, social and ethical awareness. Therefore, the integration of philosophical thinking in education needs to be continuously developed in order to create a learning system that is more holistic, innovative, and in accordance with the needs of the times.

Abstract

The LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) phenomenon has become a controversial global issue, including in Indonesia, where social and religious norms play a major role in shaping people's attitudes. Within the Islamic context, the LGBT community is regarded as being in opposition to human nature and the tenets of sharia law, leading to its frequent rejection. From a psychological perspective, individuals who identify as LGBT face mental distress, anxiety, and identity conflict due to social stigma. This research aims to analyze the influence of Islamic views in shaping attitudes towards LGBT and to examine the psychological impact of social marginalization, with a case study of the "56 Gay Sex Party" in South Jakarta. The research employed a qualitative approach, incorporating a literature review, social media analysis, and a Likert scale survey of religious leaders and the general public. The results indicated that 83.3% of respondents exhibited a negative stance towards LGBT individuals, with religion being the predominant factor influencing their attitudes. Moreover, a significant proportion of religious leaders, 85.7%, firmly asserted the pivotal role of Islamic teachings in shaping attitudes toward LGBT individuals. From a psychological standpoint, individuals who identify as LGBT frequently encounter identity conflict and emotional distress, which, in some cases, is influenced by factors such as parenting, trauma, or emotional escapism. Furthermore, 66.7% of respondents expressed the opinion that the LGBT community is growing, particularly through the medium of social media, which has emerged as a platform for advocacy and debate.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see how Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers use various approaches to increase students' professionalism and desire to study at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. PAI teachers have an important role in shaping students' character through implementing innovative learning approaches based on Islamic values. This research collects data from various relevant literature sources; Data analysis methods are used to study various learning approaches in Islamic education. The research results show that PAI teachers use various learning approaches, including role playing, question and answer, lectures, and project and problembased learning approaches.  This method has proven effective in increasing teacher professionalism and fostering students' desire to learn. In addition, methods that suit students' needs, a fun learning environment, and rewards can strengthen students' desire to learn. This research helps improve the quality of learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and helps PAI teachers create better and more meaningful learning strategies.

Abstract

This research is based on the decline in interest in reading the Qur'an that occurs in the nation's young generation among the factors causing it is negative parenting style, family interaction that is less supportive in creating a conducive home environment to stimulate children's interest in the habit of reading the Quran. This research aims to improve the habit of reading the Qur'an in children. The research approach uses a qualitative approach through a qualitative descriptive method The source of data for this research is the head of RTQ (raudhatul ta'limil qur'an), students and parents of RTQ subulus sholah. Data analysis technique with three main steps. namely data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of the study showed the development of Santri in the habit of reading the Quran.

Abstract

The purpose of a study is 1) to analyze the role of social media in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic religious education subjects at SMK Miftahul Ulum Bandar Lampung, 2) The most effective type of social media in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic religious education subjects at SMK Miftahul Ulum Bandar Lampung, 3) The challenges of the role of social media in increasing students' learning motivation in Islamic religious education subjects at SMK Miftahul Ulum Bandar Lampung The type of research used by the researcher is qualitative research using descriptive methods, data collection methods in the form of interviews and documentation, data sources via the principal, teachers, and students. The results of the study are as follows: 1) The role of social media is not only communication but also innovation for teachers and students, 2) The types of social media used are Whatsapp, Instagram and Youtube, the researcher uses whatsapp as a type of social media because SMK Miftahul Ulum is more dominant in the use of these social media, 3) The challenge of the role of social media is to distinguish between fake news and valid news, as a teacher it is wiser to provide guidance and wiser in education about the use of social media and the role of teachers must also keep up with the times so as not to be left behind.

Abstract

This study aims to determine various Islamic monetary policies that can be used to deal with economic crises such as monetary crises and inflation. Monetary policy is a policy carried out by the central bank in this case is BI (Bank Indonesia) to regulate the amount of money in circulation and interest rates. However in the Islamic perspective,  the interest rate is a form of usury, so in the Islamic perspective the interest rate is changed to zakat of 2.5%. Through the library research methodology, researchers collect data from previous journals and several books to find out what models can be done by Islamic monetary policy in dealing with economic crises. The results of the study show Islamic monetary policy models that can be used to deal with economic crises such as 1) Reserve Ratio, 2) Moral Suassion, 3) Lending Ratio, 4) Refinance Ratio, 5) Profit Sharing Ratio, 6) Islamic Sukuk, 7) Government Investment Certificate, and 8) Sharia mutual funds. This study provides an understanding of various models of Islamic monetary policy to avoid usury to overcome economic crises. And this proves that sharia-based monetary policy can compete in modern times today.
