Abstract

Abstract This research is entitled the implementation of learning the book of ta'lim muta'allim in shaping the adab of students at the Al-Khoiriyah Islamic Boarding School in Meluwur Village, Glagah Lamongan. This research is motivated by the fact that what is happening in education today is the decline in the adab and ethics of students. The existence of learning the Ta'lim Muta'allim book is a solution so that the adab of students can increase. This research aims to find out the learning of the Ta'lim Muta'allim book, to find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the implementation of learning the Ta'lim Muta'allim book, and to find out the implementation of learning the Ta'lim Muta'allim book in shaping the students' manners at the Al-Khoiriyah Islamic Boarding School in Meluwur Village, Glagah Lamongan. This research uses qualitative research and a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study are in the learning of the ta'lim muta'allim book to carry out three steps, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning and implementation went well but there were shortcomings in the evaluation. The implication of learning the book of ta'lim muta'allim in shaping santri adab is the increase in santri adab and can position themselves as knowledge seekers. However, in its implementation there are also several factors, both supporting factors and inhibiting factors. The supporting factors are educators who are experts in their fields, adequate facilities, and the number of students who can read the book because most of the students come from boarding schools. While the inhibiting factor is that there are some students who are late in learning due to several factors. Keywords: Implementation, ta'lim muta'allim book, forming. Abstrak Penelitian ini berjudul implementasi pembelajaran kitab ta’lim muta’allim dalam membentuk adab santri di Pondok Pesantren Al-Khoiriyah Desa Meluwur Glagah Lamongan. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi bahwa fakta yang terjadi di pendidikan saat ini yakni turunnya adab dan etika santri. Adanya pembelajaran kitab Ta’lim Muta’allim ini menjadi solusi agar adab santri bisa meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pembelajaran kitab ta’lim muta’allim, untuk mengetahui faktor pendukung dan faktor penghambat implementasi pembelajaran kitab ta’lim muta’allim, serta untuk mengetahui implementasi pembelajaran kitab ta’lim muta’allim dalam membentuk adab santri di Pondok Pesantren Al-Khoiriyah Desa Meluwur Glagah Lamongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif serta pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pada pembelajaran kitab ta’lim muta’allim melakukan tiga langkah yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Perencanaan dan pelaksanaan berjalan dengan baik akan tetapi terdapat kekurangan dalam evaluasinya. Implikasi dari pembelajaran kitab ta’lim muta’allim dalam membentuk adab santri yakni meningkatnya adab santri serta bisa memposisikan dirinya sebagai pencari ilmu. Meskipun demikian, dalam pelaksanaannya juga terdapat beberapa faktor, baik faktor pendukung maupun faktor penghambat. Faktor pendukungnya yakni pendidik yang sudah ahli di bidangnya, fasilitas yang memadai, serta banyaknya santri yang sudah bisa membaca kitab karena sebagian besar santri berasal dari pondok pesantren. Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis field reseach untuk membandingkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada materi Al-Kulliyatu Al-Khamsah menggunakan dua metode yang mengutamakan unsur active-learning, Jigsaw dan Point Counter Point pada kelas X SMAN 3 Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menganalisis perbedaan signifikansi antara kedua model dalam meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik melalui pedekatan kuantitatif komparatif dengan metode eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwasanya kedua model merupakan model pembelajaran yang efektif, sehingga peserta didik terpacu untuk aktif di dalam kelas. Akan tetapi, model pembelajaran Point Counter Point lebih unggul dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Sehingga terbentuk suasana belajar yang interaktif dan berdampak pada peningkatan hasil belajar.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Syaichona Moh. Cholil berupaya menanamkan hidup sederhana kepada para santri. Namun, seiring perkembangan zaman, gaya hidup sederhana mulai tergeser, khususnya di kalangan santri putri. Mereka mulai terpengaruh oleh tren fashion dan gaya hidup konsumtif yang menyebabkan pergeseran nilai-nilai kesederhanaan yang diajarkan para ulama terdahulu. Salah satu keluhan datang dari wali santri yang merasa terbebani oleh sikap boros anaknya di pondok. Hal inilah yang mendorong penulis untuk meneliti peran tabungan kelas dalam membentuk sikap ekonomis santri putri Pondok Pesantren Syaichona Moh. Cholil dalam perspektif ekonomi syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian adalah enam santriwati kelas III Tsanawiyah. Data dianalisis secara menyeluruh dengan teknik editing dan organizing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tabungan kelas memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap pembentukan kemandirian ekonomi santri. Program ini bersifat edukatif karena menanamkan nilai tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, dan kemampuan mengelola keuangan. Selain itu, tabungan kelas juga mendukung pendidikan ekonomi praktis, meningkatkan keterampilan manajemen, memperkuat kebersamaan, menjadi sumber dana kegiatan besar, serta menjaga stabilitas ekonomi pesantren. Abstract

The phenomenon of beggars is a complex social problem, especially in a country with a Muslim majority. Islam views poverty as a problem that must be overcome with the principles of social justice and economic empowerment. This study aims to examine Yusuf al-Qadawi's thoughts on the humanization of beggars from an Islamic perspective, which includes the empowerment of beggars, the role of the state in the fair distribution of wealth, and social rehabilitation approaches. This study uses a literature study method by analyzing books, articles, and scientific works that discuss al-Qardawi thought and social justice in Islam. The results of the study show that al-Qardawi emphasizes the empowerment of beggars through skills training and the provision of business capital, not just material assistance. Al-Qardawi also proposed that the state play a role as a facilitator in the policy of equitable distribution of wealth, to reduce social inequality and provide economic opportunities to the poor. This study concludes that al-Qardawi thought provides a sustainable solution in overcoming poverty by prioritizing empowerment and social integration. This approach shows that Islam offers practical solutions to social problems with more holistic principles of social justice and empowerment.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the ubudiyah program in shaping a generation of obedient worshippers at SB Ampang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur. The background of this study is based on the reality that parents' busy work schedules lead to a lack of attention towards nurturing their children's worship practices. The ubudiyah program is introduced as an effort by the school to build the religious character of students through structured worship habituation. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation involving students, mentoring teachers, and parents. The research results indicate that the ubudiyah program runs effectively and has a significant impact on the worship quality of students, such as regularity in obligatory and Sunnah prayers, recitation of the Qur'an, as well as the formation of discipline and consistency in conducting worship. In addition to spiritual enhancement, this program also contributes to the intellectual development of students in understanding religious values. This success is supported by the role of guiding teachers, parental involvement, and a conducive school environment. However, challenges in program implementation were also found, such as the negative influence of gadgets and a busy academic schedule. The school responded to these challenges with intensive coaching strategies and adjustments to activity schedules. Overall, the ubudiyah program at SB Ampang has proven effective in shaping a generation that is devout in worship and possesses good character, and it can serve as a model for character education based on spirituality in the education environment Islam.

Abstract

The phenomenon of nightlife among urban youth in Indonesia has shown remarkable escalation in line with the rapid processes of urbanization, modernization, and cultural globalization. Nightlife is no longer merely perceived as a form of leisure or entertainment but has evolved into a medium of recreation, self-expression, identity construction, and social existence. The presence of nightclubs, music concerts, bars, and even digital activities such as nighttime live streaming has become an inseparable element of contemporary urban lifestyles. Nevertheless, behind its popularity, nightlife frequently reflects fundamental problems faced by younger generations, namely nihilism and the crisis of meaning. As described by Friedrich Nietzsche, nihilism signifies a condition in which individuals lose their moral foundations, experience spiritual emptiness, and perceive life as devoid of clear purpose. Within the Indonesian context, this phenomenon has been intensified by increasingly individualistic, fragmented, and pleasure-driven lifestyles, where nightlife often serves as an escape mechanism from social pressures and existential confusion. This article employs a qualitative approach through a literature-based study to examine nightlife within the framework of nihilistic philosophy and Islamic ethics. The analysis highlights three dimensions: (1) the connection between nightlife and hedonistic lifestyles as manifestations of nihilism, (2) the crisis of meaning in urban culture that generates both social alienation and spiritual estrangement, and (3) the proposed solutions offered by Islamic ethics and law, particularly through maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah and Sufi spirituality, to restore moral awareness and meaningful life orientation. The findings suggest that nightlife represents a broader value shift in contemporary urban culture, carrying significant implications for the identity and spirituality of Muslim youth. Therefore, a critical and solution-oriented framework rooted in Islamic ethics is urgently needed to integrate recreational needs with spiritual direction, ensuring that Islamic values remain relevant amidst the challenges of modern urban life.

Abstract

This study examines Qirâ’ah al-Kutub learning for Islamic studies students using a contextual semantic theory approach, aimed at enhancing the deep understanding of classical texts. The focus of this research is the analysis of Fath al-Qarib by Shaykh Muhammad bin Qasim Al-Ghaziy, particularly on the theme of al-Zawâj (marriage). The contextual semantic approach emphasizes the importance of language, situational, emotional, and cultural contexts in interpreting mufradât and sentence structures, ensuring students’ understanding is not merely lexical but holistic. This research employs a qualitative-theoretical method, involving literature studies of classical texts and scholarly references on contextual semantics and Qirâ’ah al-Kutub learning. The results indicate that the application of contextual semantic theory facilitates students in identifying key mufradât, understanding variations in word meanings, and relating classical texts to Islamic family law practices. The study also demonstrates that contextual approaches strengthen students’ analytical, interpretive, and critical reflection skills. These findings confirm that integrating contextual semantic theory in Qirâ’ah al-Kutub learning is an effective strategy for developing comprehensive classical text comprehension skills and serves as a crucial foundation for advancing Arabic language instruction and Islamic studies.

Abstract

The concept of nasikh wa mansukh in the classical tradition faces serious problems when read through the lens of modern hermeneutics. This concept relies on often uncertain verse dating and variable identification, making it vulnerable to subjectivity. This type of research uses library research. Data sources in this study are classified into two main categories, namely primary and secondary data sources. The data collection technique applied is a library technique (documentary study). The results of the study show that: 1). The deconstruction of the classical epistemology of nasikh wa mansukh is that the epistemological foundation of the classical nasikh wa mansukh concept which rests on a speculative chronology of verse revelation, subjective identification criteria, and the mechanical logic of abrogation turns out to be fragile when deconstructed through modern hermeneutics. 2). Reinterpretation as a process of legal evolution and moral education is that the phenomenon that has been called nasikh wa mansukh has been successfully reinterpreted as a manifestation of a progressive moral education process (al-tadrij) and contextual legal evolution. 3). The implications for ethical reading and the universality of the Qur'an are that this deconstruction brings fundamental implications for interpretation, namely the creation of an approach that places universal ethical values as the main hermeneutical framework.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji makna simbolik empat anggota wudhu dalam Tafsir Al-Mishbah pada Surah Al-Maidah ayat 6 dengan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis berbasis semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Penelitian kepustakaan (library research) ini menggunakan metode mawḍū‘ī, yakni menafsirkan ayat secara tematik dengan merujuk pada Tafsir Al-Mishbah. Teori semiotika Peirce, yang menekankan trikotomi sign, object, dan interpretant, menjadi kerangka analisis utama. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa al-wujūh jamak dari (wajah) mencakup area dari puncak kening hingga dagu serta melebar dari telinga kiri ke kanan. Kata wa-aydīyakum melambangkan perintah untuk membasuh tangan, dengan interpretant yang ditunjukkan melalui kalimat fa-ghsilū. Sementara itu, perintah mengusap kepala (ar-ra’s) mengandung makna mengusap rambut. Keseluruhan simbol ini menegaskan bahwa wudhu tidak hanya dimaksudkan sebagai pembersihan fisik, tetapi juga sebagai proses kesadaran ibadah kepada Allah Swt. Shalat, sebagai ibadah paling mulia setelah iman, mensyaratkan kesucian, dan wudhu menjadi tanda sekaligus sarana untuk mewujudkan kesucian tersebut.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji konsep ekoteologi menurut Nasaruddin Umar. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dan metode studi kepustakaan, penelitian ini menganalisis karya ilmiah, pidato, artikel opini, dan berita resmi di situs Kementerian Agama yang mendiskusikan konsep ekoteologi menurut Nasaruddin Umar khususnya saat ia menjabat sebagai Menteri Agama Republik Indonesia (2024-sekarang). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekoteologi yang dikembangkan Nasaruddin Umar berakar pada tafsir Asma’ul Husna, yang menekankan sifat-sifat feminin Tuhan seperti Ar-Rahman dan Ar-Rahim serta mengkritik paradigma teologi maskulin yang antroposentris dan cenderung eksploitatif terhadap alam. Konsep ekoteologi menurut Nasaruddin Umar dicirikan oleh tiga hal, yaitu: kasih sebagai dasar hubungan manusia-alam, menolak teologi maskulin dan mendorong teologi feminin; dan memandang bahwa menjaga lingkungan dipandang sebagai bentuk konkret ibadah. Secara aplikatif, konsep ini diimplementasikan dalam berbagai kebijakan publik, antara lain melalui Keputusan Menteri Agama Nomor 244 Tahun 2025, integrasi ekoteologi dalam kurikulum pendidikan agama, Gerakan Satu Juta Pohon, dan program Eco-Masjid serta KUA Hijau. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa ekoteologi Nasaruddin Umar tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai refleksi teologis, tetapi juga sebagai model teologi kebijakan ekologis yang menyatukan nilai spiritual dengan tanggung jawab ekologis.
