Abstract

This study aims to analyze the characteristics of partial discharge (PD) on a 13.8 kV Outdoor Station Post Insulator exposed to urea dust contamination at PT X Palembang. Urea dust deposited on the insulator surface increases surface conductivity and triggers PD activity that may lead to insulation degradation. Measurements were conducted using a Megger PD Scan device with a  ultrasonic sensor, then processed in MATLAB to generate Phase Resolved Partial Discharge (PRPD) patterns and Time Frequency Partial Discharge (TFPD) analysis using STFT, FFT, and CWT methods. Results showed  ultrasonic values of -5 dB to 4 dB, with the highest PD activity detected at Reactor P4. The PRPD pattern displayed symmetric pulse distribution across both half-cycles of the AC waveform at low intensity, indicating surface discharge due to surface contamination. TFPD analysis revealed a dominant frequency of 24.41 kHz. Overall, the insulation condition remains good and safe for operation, confirming that the combined PRPD and TFPD methods are effective for comprehensive insulator condition monitoring.

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the construction of educational ideology in the virtual linguistic landscape of the National Nutrition Agency's official Instagram account through the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) content. A qualitative approach with a critical paradigm was employed using Norman Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis model. The data consist of 42 Instagram posts from January–May 2026, including infographics, photos, videos, captions, hashtags, and institutional symbols. Data were collected through digital documentation and virtual observation. The findings reveal that MBG discourse represents nutrition as an educational investment. In the text dimension, diction such as golden generation, balanced nutrition, and children's rights construct moral legitimacy. In discursive practice, Instagram integrates information, education, and emotional narratives. In social practice, BGN discourse naturalizes MBG as a welfare program and human resource development strategy toward Golden Indonesia 2045. This study confirms that government social media serves as an ideological space shaping public awareness through language, visuals, symbols, and national narratives.

Abstract

Key personnel turnover creates knowledge gaps in document-based service organizations, where information is distributed across technical specifications, operational databases, and team discussions. This study develops a multi-source Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) based Question Answering (QA) system that automatically integrates heterogeneous knowledge sources through a unified source parameter. Using the Adapter Pattern, the system converts PDF/TXT documents and PostgreSQL tables into a common representation, builds a FAISS vector index, retrieves relevant context, and generates grounded answers with Gemini 2.5 Flash. Evaluation employs eight metrics and three composite scores: Knowledge Transfer Effectiveness (KTE), Multi-Source Retrieval Score (MSRS), and Answer Quality Index (AQI). Experiments were conducted on the BOND_SYS dataset using 25 Indonesian questions covering specification documents, an 8-table PostgreSQL database, and 908 developer discussion messages. Results show perfect retrieval performance (Precision@K = 1.000; MRR = 1.000) across all scenarios. The full hybrid configuration achieves the highest Overall score (0.373), while Scenario C records the highest MSRS (0.825). Scenario E obtains ROUGE-L = 0.181 and BLEU-1 = 0.196 using five manually curated reference answers. Two baseline comparisons further support this contribution: a zero-shot LLM without retrieval correctly answered only 8% of questions, while a BM25 keyword-search baseline, competitive on single-source scenarios, was outperformed on cross-referencing tasks, underscoring the added value of dense multi-source retrieval.  The findings demonstrate that integrating formal documents, structured databases, and discussion logs enhances knowledge transfer and question answering for organizational support and employee onboarding.

Abstract

Arak Bali is an intangible cultural heritage with religious, social, and economic significance for Balinese society, yet it is also vulnerable to misuse as a recreational alcoholic beverage. Bali Governor Regulation Number 1 of 2020 was enacted to protect Balinese traditional fermented and distilled beverages while controlling their negative impacts. This study aims to analyze the policy paradox and the mechanisms for controlling the negative impacts of arak Bali through the perspective of Travis Hirschi’s Social Control Theory. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed using in-depth interviews with five key informants, supported by participatory observation and literature review. The findings reveal that the regulation has strengthened legal protection and increased the economic value of arak Bali for local artisans, but has also encouraged a shift in its meaning from a sacred ritual object to a commercial commodity. The negative impacts are controlled through formal mechanisms involving government and law enforcement agencies, and informal mechanisms through traditional villages, banjar, pecalang, and awig-awig. The study concludes that policy effectiveness depends on the synergy between formal regulation and culture-based social control in Balinese society.

Abstract

Urban development and the increasing number of vehicles in Dumai City have led to a growing demand for an effective and sustainable transportation system. This condition may reduce road network performance due to the increasing traffic volume that is not balanced with adequate road capacity improvements. This study aims to evaluate road performance in Dumai City, analyze traffic movement distribution patterns, and determine appropriate improvement strategies for road segments experiencing performance degradation. The research method was conducted through road capacity and level of service analysis based on the Indonesian Highway Capacity Manual (PKJI) 2023 and transportation modeling using PTV Visum 25 on 14 selected road segments within the study area. The data used include traffic volume, road geometric characteristics, side friction conditions, and supporting transportation network data. The results show that most road segments still maintain good performance under existing conditions; however, performance degradation occurs under the 10-year projection scenario. Prof. M. Yamin Road is identified as the most critical segment, with a degree of saturation value of 0.89 and a Level of Service (LoS) E. The proposed widening scenario from 8 meters to 9 meters increases the road capacity from 2823 pcu/hour to 3096 pcu/hour, improving the road performance and supporting future traffic growth.
