Abstract

The Impact of a Spiritual Well-Being program on Preventing Quarter Life Crisis in Association Muhammadiyah Thailand Students. Objective: This program aims to provide preventive action in the form of spiritual well-being training to prevent Quarter Life Crisis among students in the Muhammadiyah Association of Thailand. Method: The quantitative research method approach with an experimental design of one group pretest and posttest design. This study was attended by 41 students of the Muhammadiyah Association of Thailand from the Faculty of Education, Fatoni University, Thailand. The sample was selected using the purposive sampling technique. Findings: The results of the independent sample t-test analysis showed a t-value of -5.583 with a degree of freedom (df) of 40, indicating a very significant difference between the pre-test and post-test results. The significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 is less than 0.05 after the implementation of this training. This shows that the program is effective in reducing the level of quarter-life crisis in Thai Muslim students. This finding supports the theory that spiritual well-being helps individuals face life crises more meaningfully. This program strengthens the meaning of life, self-reflection, and Islamic values, which have been shown to increase resilience and inner peace. Conclusion: This program offers substantial advantages, including the enhancement of students' inner well-being, the reduction of tension, and the assistance in identifying the purpose of life and making informed decisions during the transition to early adulthood. These results have the potential to serve as a preventative measure for the quarter-life crisis. The implications encompass the enhancement of mental resilience, social relationships, and spirituality in the field of education. Despite the presence of challenges such as time constraints and disparities in comprehension, partner support is extremely beneficial. The outcomes of this training are incorporated into the learning process and will be implemented as a consistent program in order to provide students with the support they need to confront life's obstacles from a spiritual perspective. Keywords: spiritual training, well-being, quarter life crisis, the muhammadiyah association of Thailand.

Abstract

Literature Review on the Effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom learning Model in Enchancing Students’ Academic Achievement This study discusses the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom instructional model in enhancing academic achievement based on a literature review. This learning model is an innovation that transforms the conventional teaching paradigm by utilizing information technology. The research aims to explore the impact of implementing the Flipped Classroom model on improving learning outcomes in Economics by presenting a comprehensive literature review on the use of the Flipped Classroom model in the context of economic education. The research method employed is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) from various sources, where the author explores various related studies to determine whether the Flipped Classroom model consistently improves students' academic performance in an educational context. The literature review results indicate that the Flipped Classroom has the potential to enhance students' academic achievements. Some studies show a significant improvement in conceptual understanding, learning motivation, and active student participation when this model is well implemented. However, there are also findings highlighting challenges in implementing the Flipped Classroom, such as adequate material preparation, teacher roles, and technology access. Keywords: flipped classroom, academic achievement, learning model, students, economics learning.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v13.i3.202330

Abstract

Factors affecting the Learning Outcomes of College Students during Online Class. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the factors affecting the achievement of learning outcomes of college students during online class and to know how they cope with the shift to online class to achieve learning outcomes. Methods: The study employed qualitative method that focused in the identifying and analyzing what all the respondents’ experiences do have common factors in the context of the phenomenon. With this, the data was gathered through an interview of five (5) 3rd year and 4th year students of Western Mindanao State University who were taking Bachelor of Elementary Education and enrolled in online classes during the academic year 2021-2022.  Findings: The study found out several factors experienced by the students that affected their learning outcomes during online class which can be summarized as internet connectivity, physiological factors, non-academic influences, technological satisfaction and learning environmental. Conclusion: Based on the result, it clearly shows that online learning has significant issues that need further investigations. It can be assumed that the sudden shift of classes to an online mode of learning is less effective than the face-to-face set-up. Various issues were disclosed and these factors can be subdued by adjusting oneself into this mode of education.  Keywords: learning outcomes, online class, college students.DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpp.v12.i3.202212
