Abstract

The Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the competence of human resources at the Ummul Quro Islamic Boarding School in facing the challenges of the industrial era 4.0. This study uses a qualitative approach with a participatory training method involving 45 ustadz, ustadzah, and administrative staff. The activity was carried out through a series of intensive workshops that included digital literacy, modern education management, and technology-based curriculum development. The results showed a significant increase in digital competence by 78%, understanding of modern management by 82%, and readiness to integrate technology in learning by 75%. This program makes a strategic contribution to the transformation of traditional Islamic boarding schools into adaptive and competitive Islamic educational institutions. The implications of this research strengthen the role of universities in community development through the PKM program which has a direct impact on improving the quality of national religious education.

Abstract

Human resource (HR) and financial management in Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia still face various structural challenges, especially related to the limitations of digital-based information systems. This Community Service Research (PKM) aims to design and build an integrated digital pesantren management application to improve the efficiency of human resource and financial management at the Ummul Quro Islamic Boarding School, Pondok Cabe Ilir, Pamulang, South Tangerang City. The method used is qualitative descriptive with a participatory action research (PAR) approach, involving pesantren administrators, educators, and students actively in the system design process. The results of the activity show that the digital application developed is able to integrate attendance management, payroll, financial reports, and student administration in one integrated platform. The implementation of this application contributes significantly to improving operational efficiency and transparency in the management of Islamic boarding schools. This finding has strategic implications for the development of digitalization of Islamic boarding schools nationally in the face of the era of globalization.

Abstract

Early leadership competence development is a fundamental aspect in shaping students' character and readiness to face challenges in the workplace and community life. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to enhance leadership competencies of students at SMK Buana Mulia Parung Panjang Bogor through a series of structured training activities and workshops. The implementation method uses a participatory approach with a combination of interactive lectures, group discussions, leadership simulations, and direct practice during the period of March 7-9, 2026. The activity was attended by 45 students from grades X and XI who were selected through a selection process based on leadership potential and learning motivation. The results showed a significant increase in understanding of leadership concepts, with an average pre-test score of 65.2 increasing to 82.8 on the post-test, indicating a 27% improvement in material mastery. Participant evaluation showed that 87% of students felt more confident in taking leadership roles and 92% stated that the activity was very beneficial for their personal development. The conclusion from this activity indicates that structured leadership training programs are effective in increasing the competence and motivation of vocational high school students in developing leadership spirit from an early age

Abstract

  Developing entrepreneurial spirit among pesantren students is an important need to prepare them to face future economic challenges while maintaining Islamic values in business. This Community Service Program aims to improve the entrepreneurial competence of Pesantren Ummul Qura students through comprehensive and applicable MSME financial management training. The activity was conducted on March 7-9, 2026 using interactive learning methods that combine lectures, practical workshops, successful MSME case studies, and sharia-based business financial management simulations. Program participants were 42 santri who have interest and plans to become entrepreneurs after completing their education at the pesantren. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in financial management understanding with average pre-test scores of 61.5 increasing to 83.7 on post-test, indicating a 36% improvement in material mastery. Practical skills assessment through business simulation showed 86% of participants were able to prepare simple financial plans for small businesses correctly. Satisfaction survey showed 91% of participants rated the program as very beneficial and 88% felt more confident to start their own business. This program proves that structured and contextual financial management training can effectively equip santri with solid entrepreneurial competencies that are in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to strengthen the economic capacity of students through the development of innovation and entrepreneurial creativity at the Ummul Quro Islamic Boarding School, South Tangerang City. Pesantren as the oldest Islamic educational institution in Indonesia has great potential in producing young entrepreneurs with character, but still faces serious challenges in terms of business literacy, simple financial management, and competitive product development in the market. The implementation of PKM lasted for three days, namely from March 7 to 9, 2026, involving 60 active students, boarding school administrators, and a team of lecturers from the Management Study Program of Pamulang University. The methods used include interactive lectures, focused group discussions (FGDs), simulations of the preparation of Business Model Canvas, digital marketing workshops, and direct assistance in the development of local potential-based business ideas. The evaluation was carried out through pre-test and post-test, where the results showed an increase in the average score of entrepreneurial understanding by 85.7%, from 42 to 78 on a scale of 100. The participants managed to produce 10 business plans in the Business Model Canvas format that were considered feasible and relevant to the local potential of the Islamic boarding school. The institutional commitment of the leadership of the Ummul Quro Islamic Boarding School to integrate entrepreneurship materials into the formal curriculum of the Islamic boarding school is a strategic achievement that ensures the sustainability of the program's impact. This activity is expected to be a model of pesantren-based economic development that can be widely replicated in other Islamic educational institutions throughout Indonesia.

Abstract

Marketing skills are fundamental competencies that must be mastered by business major vocational high school students to face increasingly competitive workplace challenges. This Community Service Program aims to strengthen the marketing skills of SMK Mulia Buana Parung Panjang students through comprehensive understanding of marketing mix management that is applicable and in accordance with digital era developments. The activity was conducted on March 7-9, 2026 using interactive learning methods that combine lectures, practical workshops, real product marketing case studies, and marketing strategy formulation simulations. Program participants were 46 students from grades XI and XII of the Business and Marketing expertise program selected based on learning motivation and career plans in marketing field. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in marketing mix understanding with average pre-test scores of 64.3 increasing to 85.6 on post-test, indicating a 33% improvement in material mastery. Practical skills assessment through marketing plan projects showed 88% of participants were able to develop comprehensive and creative marketing mix strategies for their chosen products. Satisfaction survey showed 92% of participants rated the program as very beneficial and 87% felt more prepared for careers in marketing or starting their own business. This program proves that structured and contextual marketing mix training can effectively equip vocational students with solid marketing competencies relevant to modern industry needs.

Abstract

The modern industrial era demands human resources who are not only technically competent, but also possess high professionalism in facing the dynamics of technological change and labor market demands. This Community Service Program aims to strengthen the professionalism of students at SMK Mulia Buana Parung Panjang through comprehensive training covering digital literacy, financial management, professional work ethics, and adaptation to Industry 4.0 technology. The activity was conducted on March 7-9, 2026 using participatory learning methods combining interactive lectures, practical workshops, case studies, and workplace simulations. Program participants were 48 students from grades XI and XII selected based on learning motivation and post-graduation career plans. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in understanding of professionalism concepts with average pre-test scores of 63.8 increasing to 84.2 on post-test, indicating a 32% improvement in material mastery. Professional attitude evaluation through observation showed 89% of participants were able to demonstrate better professional behavior in various work situation simulations. Satisfaction survey showed 93% of participants rated the program as very beneficial and 85% felt more prepared to face modern workplace demands. This program proves that structured intervention in professionalism development can effectively prepare vocational high school students to face the dynamics of the modern industrial era with more confidence and competence.
