Darul Ulum: Journal of Islamic Studies, published by Darul Ulum Research Centre of STIT Darul Ulum Kotabaru Kalimantan Selatan since 2008, can be said as the oldest academic journal dealing with the theme in South Borneo. The subject covers textual and fieldwork studies with various perspectives of philosophy, Religion, education, culture, and many more. In the beginning the journal only served as a scholarly forum for the lecturers at the State Institute of Islamic Studies. However, due to the later development with a broader readership, the journal has successfully invited scholars and researchers outside the Institute to contribute. Darul Ulum, published twice a year, always places Islam and Muslim in the central focus of academic inquiry and invites any comprehensive observation of Islam as a theological belief and a system of society and Muslims as those who practice the religion with their many facets. This journal, serving as a forum for the study of Islam in Indonesia and other parts of the world within its local and challenging global context, supports focused studies of particular theme and interdisciplinary studies. Darul Ulum has become a medium of diffusion and exchange of ideas and research findings, so much so that researchers, writers, and readers from various traditions of learning have interacted in the scholarly manner.

Abstract

Hermeneutics, as a new method of interpreting the Qur'an, is expected to be able to reveal things that cannot be known with other forms of interpretation. The author strives for this research to examine various hermeneutical method approaches in Islamic studies. The technique used in this research is a literature study. The results obtained from this research are that hermeneutics can be interpreted as an interpretation method that pays attention to the context of the words of a text and the cultural context of thought. Hermeneutics is considered to have a distinctive characteristic, namely the development of contextualization values of a text to be studied. Hermeneutics in the Islamic study of the interpretation of the Al-Qur'an finds the correspondence between the verses of the Al Qur'an in science. Also, it shows the miracles of the Al-Qur'an and its glory.

Abstract

Military education has a very important role in shaping a country's identity and combat readiness. This research explores the context of military education during the Ottoman Empire, focusing analysis on the strategy, role and impact on the sustainability of the Ottoman military's educational strength. The main aim of this research is to explore how the Ottoman Turkish military education system played a key role in forming a strong military identity, increasing the combat readiness of troops, and influencing the social structure and culture of society. Research methods involve in-depth analysis of relevant historical documents, literature, and primary sources. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze how the military education system during the Ottoman period played an important role in forming a strong military identity in terms of evaluating the military education curriculum, military strategy and the role of military education in producing effective military leaders among troops and Ottoman Turkish society. The long history of the Ottoman Turkish dynasty led by several leaders resulted in different types of leadership, including differences in policy decisions that occurred at that time. Both in the social, political, educational and military fields. As a nation with military blood, education during this kingdom era was largely concentrated on military training education, thus giving birth to the Yenissari army and making this country have a formidable war machine. It is hoped that the research results will provide deeper insight into the contribution of military education to Ottoman military power and how its influence penetrated the social and cultural structure of society at that time. This discovery can not only contribute to understanding the history of the Ottoman Empire, but also contribute to thinking regarding military education in the context of history and military development in general.

Abstract

This article aims to explain how the implementation of quality management in Islamic education in Indonesia. The method used is a qualitative research method (library research) using literature (literature), both in the form of books, e-books, journals, and reports on previous research findings. The research findings show that issues related to quality are still a major concern in educational institutions, especially in Islamic education. The results illustrate that attention to these aspects can make a positive contribution to the progress of Islamic education in Indonesia. As for the conclusion of this article, to improve the quality of education, it is necessary to pay attention to four factors, namely input quality, process quality, output, and outcame.

Abstract

Lingkungan organisasi terbagi menjadi dua yaitu lingkungan internal dan lingkungan eksternal organisasi, dimana keduanya dapat mempengaruhi kinerja mahasiswa agar dapat mengoptimalkan sumber daya manusia dibidang Pendidikan secara efektif dan efisien. Lingkungan internal organisasi seringkali dihadapkan pada permasalahan misi, kebijakan, budaya organisasi, sistem informasi dan perbedaan individu mahasiswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menilai lingkungan internal organisasi terutama dilingkup mahasiswa agar dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia dibidang Pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review. Metode literatur review dilakukan berdasarkan issue, metodelogi, persamaan dan mengutip dari beberapa jurnal.

Abstract

Keberadaan agama sesungguhnya menjadi solusi bagi terciptanya realitas keadilan tanpa adanya satu pun yang dirugikan. Dalam hal ini adalah waris. Islam memperkenalkan konsep waris dalam hal pembagian harta peninggalan yang juga mengacu pada ayat-ayat substantif (uhuliyyah), sekaligus menjadi tujuan umum atas dasar syariah (maqasyid al-Syariah). Dalam konteks waris, khususnya pada masyarakat Banjar dikenal dengan istilah praktek ishlah yang menjadi salah satu cara membagi harta waris dan yang juga dipraktekkan hingga mampu disepakati menciptakan keadilan. Tulisan ini berupaya menganalisis dan mengemukakan gagasan bagaimana Islam meregulasi pembagian harta waris secara ishlah, yakni dengan cara bermusyawarah hingga menemukan kata mufakat yang berarti prosesnya menempuh jalan atau cara bermusyawarah dengan semua pihak yang berhak mendapatkan harta waris. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk mencermati dan menganalisis realitas dan fenomena yang ada terkait dengan aspek nilai keadilan waris. Penulis meneliti melalui penelitian normatif dan fenomenologis, pendekatan yang digunakan pendekatan analisis (analysis approach), dan pendekatan konseptual (conseptual approach).

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menemukan konsep model layanan konseling terintegrasi nilai-nilai keIslaman yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan pribadi sehat bagi siswa SMP/MTs yang merupakan salah satu daripada ttjuan pendidikan nasional berdasarkan UU No. 20 tahun 2003. Namun berdasarkan data dan fakta masih banyak terjadi penyimpangan perilaku peserta didik khususnya tingkat sekolah menengah Pertama (SMP) dan Madrasah Tsanawiyah baik penyimpangan pelanggaran hukum, penyimpangan perilaku kesusilaan dan moralitas, contohnya seringnya terjadi perundungan, Bullying, tawuran antar pelajar bahkan sampai menimbulkan korban jiwa dan banyak pelajar terlibat kasus narkoba dan minuman keras serta para pelajar terlibat pergaulan sex bebas. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pustaka (library reseach), teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara studi dokumentasi berupa buku, kitab, artikel,dokumen dan sumber terkait. Hasil yang di dapatkan pada penelitian ini berupa konsep Model Layanan Konseling Terintegrasi Nilai – nilai KeIslaman untuk meningkatkan Pribadi sehat bagi siswa SMP/MTs yang mencakup Empat Aspek, yaitu: Pertama, Ide/gagasan Model Layanan yang di kembangkan; Kedua, Desain Model Layanan yang dikembangkan; Ketiga, Implementasi/proses Model layanan; Keempat, evaluasi Model layanan.

Abstract

This article talks about the Arab Spring phenomenon using a different perspective. The author tries to guide the historical factors of the formation of nation-states in the Middle East and North Africa after the collapse of the Ottoman Turkish Empire with various factors that have a significant influence. Moving on from the failure of the unity of the Ummah which was carried out by the spirit of Pan-Islamism of the Ottoman Turks, which was followed by the failure of Pan-Turkism and Pan-Arabism, brought the Muslim community into the trap of narrow nationalism that was regionalistic and very tribal, group, and sectarian. These tribal, group, and sectarian fragments have a big contribution in creating the pre- and post-Arab Spring conditions that haven't found the dream; democratization, non-discrimination, and social and economic equality. Another assumption, Islam, as the main religion of Arab society, gives a positive response, or at least passively for the continuation of narrow nationalism which is identical to the interests of small groups and is contrary to the spirit of the unity of the ummah. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore processes, activities, and events. The data data taken from relevant documents and uses a holistic analysis technique by narrative-descriptive approach. In the end, this research concludes the typical tribalist and sectarian Arab culture and historical factors contributed to the gaps in Arab society which culminated in the Arab Spring.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji hadis-hadis yang berkaitan dengan keutamaan shalat berjamaah. Penelitian ini mengadopsi metode kualitatif melalui analisis isi pada sumber-sumber tertulis. Hasil dan diskusi penelitian mencakup gambaran umum tentang shalat berjamaah, hadis-hadis terkait shalat berjamaah, dan manfaat shalat berjamaah. Kesimpulan penelitian menegaskan pentingnya shalat berjamaah, karena shalat merupakan pondasi agama. Mempertahankan shalat berarti mempertahankan agama, sementara meninggalkannya dapat melemahkan pondasi agama. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membuka wawasan bagi orang tua, menekankan pentingnya mendidik anak-anak dengan baik, tidak hanya dalam hal pengetahuan duniawi, tetapi juga dalam hal nilai-nilai spiritual, terutama terkait dengan shalat.

Abstract

Pada masa Kolonial Belanda pendidikan ditujukan skala prioritas terutama para pegawai VOC (Vereenigde Oost-indische Compagnie) dan keluarganya. Pendidikan yang dikembangkan bagi kalangan pribumi hanya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan para pekerja. Pada zaman ini Belanda juga fokus pada ketiga tujuan yang dikenal dengan kata Tre G yaitu Gold, Gospel dan Glory. Pada masa penjajahan Jepang pengembangan madrasah begitu gencar dilakukan secara luas oleh Majelis Islam terautama madrasah-madrasah awaliyah yang diperuntukan bagi anak-anak berusia minimal 7 tahun. Perubahan kurikulum Pendidikan Islam yang selalu berubah-rubah sehingga menyulitkan menetapkan kompetensi secara permanen yang bisa digunakan secara terus menerus. Kurikulum merupakan pedoman dan ruang lingkup materi yang digunakan untuk mengantarkan pendidikan kepada tujuannya, maka kurikulum perlu dirancang dengan mempertimbangkan berbagai sudut pandang agar relevan baik di dalam lembaga maupun bagi masyarakat dunia luar. Kurikulum beberapa tahun terakhir selalu berubah-rubah dimulai KTSP, K13, KBK dan sekarang Kurikulum Merdeka. Pendidikan harus mampu membekali peserta didik dengan kemampuan yang dibutuhkan di abad 21, yang meliputi: kemampuan berpikir kritis, kepekaan terhadap lingkungan dan permasalahan di masyarakat, kemampuan kreatif dan inovatif yaitu mampu berpikir untuk menciptakan banyak peluang dan solusi dari setiap permasalahan, kemampuan berkolaborasi meliputi kemampuan membangun jaringan seluas-luasnya, kemampuan memimpin dan dipimpin, dan kemampuan bekerja sama untuk memecahkan masalah. Kemampuan komunikasi yang efektif, yang memungkinkan untuk mengungkapkan ide dan pemikiran yang sudah ada di kepala seseorang kepada orang lain.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how to use, the benefits, and the implications of Canva media for the poster writing skills of class XI students at SMA Negeri Kotabaru. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. The data source in this research was class XI Biology at Kotabaru State High School, totalling 173 students. Researchers in taking samples used purposive sampling techniques. This research involved students in classes XI Biology 1 and XI Biology 4 with a total of 69 students as sampling. The data collection techniques used in this research are observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. The results of Canva's superiority as a poster learning media for class So the advantages of Canva as a learning medium have good and effective implications for students to use in making posters.
