Abstract

This study discusses "The Role of Career Women as Housewives in Fostering Children's Morals". The purpose of this study was to determine the role of career women as housewives in fostering children's morals and to find out the problems faced by career women in fostering the morals of their children. The type of research used is a type of qualitative research. The approach used is a qualitative descriptive approach that describes and analyzes the problems raised by the informants. Data collection techniques are based on primary data and secondary data. The main data used include observation (observation) and interviews. Meanwhile, secondary data are data obtained from the documentation. The data analysis in this thesis uses data triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the role of career women in fostering children's morals is to continue to accompany and provide education, especially religious education to their children. Education that is implanted as an effort to foster children's character is faith education, such as the pillars of Islam and the pillars of faith. Then worship education, such as prayer, ablution, and tayammum and reading the Qur'an. And of course, moral education, such as honesty, discipline, likes to help others, has a cheerful face every time you meet other people, likes to say sorry, asks for help and thanks as a form of respect for others, and behaves and speaks well. To support these efforts, several career women send their children to Islamic-based schools and some choose Islamic boarding schools as a place for their children to deepen their religious knowledge. Meanwhile, the problem faced by career women in fostering the morals of their children is the limited time to accompany and provide education to their children

Abstract

This study aims to determine: 1) the implementation of the school literacy movement; 2) determine students' reading ability after the school literacy movement is held; 3) the influence of the school literacy movement on students' reading ability. This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of survey research. The population of all students in grade 3 SD Al Irsyad, Sorong City. The sampling technique used a saturated sample by making the entire population the research sample. The data was collected by providing analysis and tests through google forms, then analyzed using simple linear regression test statistics. The results showed that: 1) the implementation of the school literacy movement at SD Al-Irsyad Sorong City was in the high category (74%); 2) the reading ability of grade 3 students at SD Al-Irsyad, Sorong City is in the high category (71%); 3) the school literacy movement has a positive and significant effect on the reading ability of 3rd graders at Al-Irsyad Elementary School, Sorong City. In conclusion, the school literacy movement at SD AL-Irsyad can improve students' reading skills

Abstract

This study aims to determine 1) descriptive implementation of the leadership function by the principal; 2) descriptive teacher performance through teacher competence; 3) the influence of the principal's leadership on teacher performance at Al-Irsyad Elementary School, Sorong City. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a population of all teachers at Al-Irsyad Elementary School, amounting to 30 teachers. Sampling using non-probability sampling and saturated sample techniques. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires and then analyzed by descriptive analysis and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study stated that 1) the principal carried out the leadership function in the good category, namely 76.7%; 2) teacher performance at SD Al-Irsyad is in the moderate category, which is 59.8%; 3) Principal leadership has a positive and significant influence on teacher performance at Al-Irsyad Elementary School, Sorong City. Abstract

This research is backgrounded by the ability of students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in solving science learning problems. Therefore, a learning model is needed to improve students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) abilities. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) model is a model that is very possible to be able to develop HOTS. Participants are trained to be able to design science learning based on the PBL model so that learning objectives related to the development of HOTS for students are achieved properly. The PBL model has learning stages in the form of 1) the orientation of the educated to the problem; 2) organizing learners to learn; 3) guiding individual or group investigations; 4) develop and present the work; and 5) analyze and evaluate problem solving. Therefore, the PBL model can help develop higher order thinking skills in science learning in elementary schools

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the level of satisfaction of PGMI students with Tarbiyah faculty services was in accordance with student experiences related to Tarbiyah faculty services at IAIN Sorong. The results of this study indicate that the services provided by the Tarbiyah faculty to PGMI students which consist of five aspects indicate that the reliability aspect of the lecturers is 49.5%, the staff/educational personnel is 40.9% and the Tarbiyah Faculty 46.2% say good. of services received by students. Aspects of responsiveness from lecturers as much as 49.3%, staff/education personnel as much as 45.9%, and faculty of tarbiyah as much as 35.8% said they were good at the services received by students. Aspects of certainty from lecturers as much as 41.2% said it was very good for the services received by students while 45.2% of staff/educational staff said, and Tarbiyah faculty 42.9% said they were good for the services received by students. Aspects of empathy from lecturers as much as 47.0%, staff/education personnel as much as 45.8%, and Tarbiyah faculty as much as 41.6% both towards the services received by students. And aspects of physical evidence from lecturers as much as 43.7%, and Tarbiyah faculties as much as 40% said it was very good for the services received by students while 49.3% of staff/educational staff said they were good for the services received by students. When viewed from the results of the study as a whole, shows that student satisfaction includes the achievement of being satisfied to very satisfied with the services received by students

Abstract

This study discusses the development of akhlakul karimah students at MI Darussalam Pacet through duha prayer activities. The background of this research is in order to foster the morals of students through Duha prayer activities. Given the importance of prayer, it is very necessary to instill it in students from an early age. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, research that produces descriptive data, with the type of case study research. This research was conducted in class V with the subject of the principal, 1 class teacher, and 4 parents of students. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. While the analysis is through the stages of reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. After conducting research, it was found that the Duha prayer at MI Darussalam Pacet had gone well. The impact of implementing Duha prayer activities on the morals of students includes time discipline, patience, courtesy, and mutual respect. While there are interesting things found in the Duha prayer at home, namely the participation of other family members to carry out the Duha prayer. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that coaching through Duha prayer activities brings many benefits and positive impacts to the daily lives of students.

Abstract

The Pancasila Student Profile is a character strengthening in education, especially among the younger generation. The character which is the ideology of the nation can be formed from the diversity of local wisdom. The introduction of the values ​​of local wisdom to students is very important because the values ​​of local wisdom are one part of the manifestation of the nation's cultural wealth. This study aims to describe the cultivation of local wisdom values ​​through the concept of the Pancasila student profile so that it can be implemented in everyday life. The method used is a library approach (data collection method in the form of documents in the form of books, literature, and scientific journals). Based on the results of the study through the application of the 6 dimensions of the Pancasila student profile, it is expected that students will become intelligent and characterized individuals by applying local wisdom values ​​and being able to face the challenges of the 21st century and course instilling the values ​​contained in Pancasila.

Abstract

The teacher is one of the important factors in determining the success of the teaching and learning process in the classroom. Therefore, teachers are required to improve their role and competence. Competent teachers will be better able to create an effective learning environment and will be better able to manage their classes so that student learning outcomes are at an optimal level. Classroom management is a teacher's effort in creating good classroom environmental conditions with students acting according to their abilities, students can study in an orderly manner, student output is in accordance with the goals to be achieved with a social atmosphere that provides satisfaction, an atmosphere of discipline, intellectual development, emotional, attitude, and appreciation of students so that learning objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently. Classroom learning and management are two things that are carried out simultaneously in the learning process in class and have a very close relationship. Learning includes all activities carried out to achieve learning objectives, and classroom management includes activities that create and maintain optimal conditions for the learning process to occur.

Abstract

The ability to read must be possessed by every student as a necessity in obtaining knowledge and information. Without having the ability to read, students will find it difficult to follow the learning process. This study aims to determine the strategies used by teachers in increasing the motivation to read grade 1 students during the pandemic. The research approach used is qualitative with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The research was conducted at SDI Al-Hakim Boyolangu, and the subjects of this research were the teachers and students of grade 1 SDI Al-Hakim Boyolangu. The data that has been obtained is analyzed using reduction, then presented, then drawn conclusions. The results obtained that: 1) the teacher uses an interactive and bottom-up learning model. 2) the learning method used is the syllable method for students who are not yet proficient at reading. 3) the learning media used by the teacher to increase the motivation for reading skills of grade 1 students are flash cards and blackboards

Abstract

Sekolah Dasar Luar Biasa yang berada di kota sorong ini mendidik peserta didiknya didasarkan pada struktur kurikulum sekolah (SDLB) tetapi menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan anak berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah tersebut. Perubahan kondisi fisik juga berpengaruh pada rasa kepercayaan diri seorang anak, serta ketidak mampuan fisik atau mental dapat menyebabkan seseorang merasa rendah diri dan bahkan malu untuk berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Hal ini menjadi menarik untuk diteliti karena dalam penelitian ini berfokus pada peran guru kelas untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri penyandang disabilitas. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif penelitian ini berupa tindakan serta kata-kata dari sampel yang diamati maupun yang telah diwawancarai secara langsung yakni kepala sekolah, guru kelas dan murid Sekolah Dasar Luar Biasa Inpres 73 Malaingkedi Kota Sorong. Ada berbagai macam-macam cara untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta didik penyandang disabilitas, hal yang harus ditanamkan pada diri peserta didik bahwa harus berani mencoba hal baru yang bersifat positif serta selalu menjalankan ibadah dan mendekatkan diri kepada Tuhan hal tersebut dapat mengajarkan peserta didik untuk selalu bersyukur atas keadaan yang mereka miliki.
