Abstract

This study aims to analyse the strategy of using interactive multimedia-based learning media in improving students' critical thinking in Fiqh learning subjects at Madrasah Aliyah Unggulan Nur Al-Jadid Waru Sidoarjo. This research uses a qualitative approach, data collection methods using interviews, observation and documentation, descriptive analysis. The results showed that the use of interactive multimedia is able to create a more interesting and interactive learning environment, thus motivating students to be more active in the learning process. This interactive multimedia provides a variety of visual and audio resources that support the understanding of complex Fiqh concepts. Through this method, students can more easily understand and analyse the material, as well as engage in discussion and critical problem solving. The research data showed a significant improvement in students' critical thinking skills after the implementation of this strategy, which was evident in their ability to identify problems, analyse arguments and devise solutions based on Fiqh principles. Thus, the use of interactive multimedia-based learning media is proven effective in improving the quality of learning and students' critical thinking skills in Fiqh subjects.

Abstract

Islamic education is the process of fostering, nurturing and teaching students, so that they can always understand and know Islam as a whole and practice it and teach it, meaning that Islamic education aims to produce generations of Muslims who always believe and fear God and have good morals and are able and skilled in social life. Abdul Malik Fadjar's general thinking shows that Islamic education thinking must show fundamental changes and improvements in the system and management of Islamic education to achieve quality education goals that can mobilize all educational resources, which are taken from Abdul Mallik Fadjar's thinking. Based on the results of the study, the values contained in Islamic education according to Abdul Malik Fadjar are to form students to develop as a generation of khaih ummah, faith and devotion, mature in attitude, have independent thinking and spirit, creative, dynamic and noble character.

Abstract

Memorizing the Quran is a noble deed that requires seriousness and strong motivation where motivation plays an important role in encouraging students to continue to struggle and not give up in facing challenges during the memorization process. This study aims to examine the urgency of motivation in memorizing the Quran at Ma'had Tahfidz Al-Quran Ihyaul Ulum Gresik, as well as factors that can increase this motivation. The research is qualitative descriptive, with data collection methods of documentation, observation and interviews. The analysis is descriptive. The results showed that motivation plays an important role in the process of memorizing the Quran at Ma'had Tahfidz Al-Quran Ihyaul Ulum Gresik, including providing positive energy, encouraging discipline, overcoming boredom and laziness, and arousing enthusiasm. Factors that can increase motivation in memorizing the Quran include: 1) Giving motivation in class at every KBM, 2) Ascension exam every one Juz, 3) Examination for every five juz at the tasmi' and muraja'ah event, and 4) Support from parents.

Abstract

The importance of Islamic Religious Education in elementary schools is to foster and nurture students to always understand the values of Islamic teachings as a whole, because in essence Islamic Religious Education aims to increase students' faith, understanding and practice of Islam so that they become students who are faithful and devoted to Allah SWT and have noble character in personal life, community, nation and state. The purpose of Islamic Religious Education is as an identity that contains the values of Islamic teachings that must be applied in the learning process gradually. In line with that, basically the purpose of Islamic Religious Education is aimed at implementing values derived from Islamic teachings as an effort to build student character that is upheld by an educational institution. This research uses descriptive research methodology. Descriptive studies, or data collected using words or pictures rather than numbers. In this case, data is collected using interview transcripts, field notes, photographs, videos, personal letters, memos, and other official records. The results of the PAI teacher's research in improving the religious character of students at MI Al Ishlah Sidowayah Beji Pasuruan both have in common, namely the cultivation of values given in each activity and the role of extracurricular youth mosque which greatly helps the teacher's efforts in improving the religious character of students through various religious activities at MI Al Ishlah Sidowayah Beji Pasuruan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning strategy applied in the boarding school by feeling comfortable in memorising the Qur'an according to the target set, research at Raaudlatul Arifin Beji Pasuruan Islamic Boarding School. Qualitative methods will be used in this study, the type of research used is descriptive qualitative, which aims to describe and analyse events, activities and events. The results showed that the learning strategy applied at the Raudlatul Arifin Islamic boarding school is to foster a sense of comfort for each student. With a sense of comfort, it is expected that students can memorise the Koran with focus. Because in memorising the Koran if comfort and peace of mind are disturbed then memorising the Koran cannot be memorised properly. Supporting factors when memorising the Koran include students, teachers, environment, intelligence, motivation. There are also inhibiting factors in memorising the Koran, which include laziness, the age factor of students, family, memorising followed by reading friends

Abstract

This research is based on the background of an institution that always needs new teachers to fulfil the growing quota. The existence of teachers who die, retire and even get sick or absent is the cause of the shortage of teachers that continues to occur every year. In Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah Batee Iliek Samalanga, there is always a shortage of teachers due to the rapid growth of the dayah so it is necessary to recruit new teachers. This research uses a type of qualitative research with a case study approach. The object of this research was carried out at Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah Batee Iliek Samalanga. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources in this study include the Leader / Kyai, the person in charge of the boarding school, the dayah leader, the Head of Curriculum, the Head of Pengaian, teachers, and students. The analysis techniques used in this research are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. Triangulation used to test the validity of the data is triangulation of techniques and sources.The results showed that: a. Understanding the vision and mission of the institution. Understanding the vision and mission of the institution by the recruitment executive committee in order to form a good and qualified teaching staff. b. The formation of the committee. The formation of the committee was carried out in the context of recruiting teachers, Dayah Jamiah Al-Aziziyah Samalanga formed a small team to manage the recruitment of teaching staff. c. Determination of implementation procedures. The implementation procedure is formed by the team or committee itself, the implementation procedure is used as a reference when the recruitment takes place, so that the recruitment will have direction and can focus on the objectives of the activity

Abstract

This research aims to optimize Islamic religious education through extracurricular activities Al Banjari at Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman High School in Taman Sidoarjo. The method used is quantitative involving 5 informants, namely 1 school principal, 1 vice principal, 1 Al Banjari teacher, and 2 students. The approach used is descriptive with a phenomenological approach. The Al Banjari extracurricular at Wachid Hasyim 2 Taman High School in Taman Sidoarjo is the focus of the research due to its significant potential in strengthening Islamic religious education within the school environment. Al Banjari activities serve not only as a platform for religious learning but also enrich Islamic culture and traditions. By understanding the experiences and perceptions of the informants, this research aims to identify factors influencing the effectiveness of Al Banjari extracurricular activities in optimizing Islamic religious education at Wachid Hasyim 2 High School in Taman Sidoarjo. The results of this research are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the contribution of Al Banjari in enhancing the understanding of Islam among students. Thus, potential and challenges in implementing Al Banjari activities can be identified, along with providing recommendations for further development. This research makes an important contribution to strengthening Islamic religious education in schools through extracurricular approaches. With a better understanding of the factors influencing the effectiveness of Al Banjari extracurricular activities, it is hoped that improvements and better developments can be made to enhance the quality of Islamic religious education at Wachid Hasyim 2 High School in Taman Sidoarjo.

Abstract

The focus of this research are: planning, implementation and evaluation of Islamic education in shaping the discipline of students through the habituation of congregational prayer at MAS Darussalam Sengkubang Islamic Boarding School in Mempawah Regency. The research approach used is qualitative with a phenomenological paradigm. The type of research used in this research is field research (Field Research). The results of this study indicate that: 1) The planning of establishing the programme of establishing Dhuha and Fard prayers in congregation at MAS Darussalam Sengkubang Mempawah includes: a. The first submission of the idea, b. The welcome of the foundation and school administrators, c. The stages of maturation and stabilisation of the idea, d. The decision of establishing the idea. Decision-making on the determination of the idea. 2) The implementation of the programme of establishing Dhuha and Fard prayers in congregation at MAS Darussalam Sengkubang Mempawah shows: a. the realisation of the implementation of the programme, b. the content of activities in the programme, c. the method of providing guidance in the programme, d. the character values that are prioritised. Character values that are prioritised. 3) Evaluation of the Programme of Establishing Fard Prayers in congregation on the formation of Islamic character.

Abstract

This study departs from the phenomenon of Arabic language learning in class X of Madrasah Aliyah Darussalam using ?ar?qah Mub?syarah, students in the class consist of different school inputs who have different basic Arabic language skills, besides that the Arabic teacher's background is not a graduate of Arabic Language Education. This study discusses how the lesson plan, implementation and evaluation and what are the implications for improving Mah?ratul Kal?m. This research is a field research with a qualitative approach, the type of research is phenomenology with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses an inductive model which includes data reduction, data display and data verification, while checking the validity of the data is done with observation persistence, triangulation and member check. The results of this study show that Arabic language learning at Madrasah Aliyah Darussalam focuses on mastering speaking competence by using ?ar?qah Mub?syarah in the form of implementation: planning in the form of learning tools which include objectives, materials, learning resources, student characters and methods.  learning implementation consists of pre-learning, core learning and end-of-learning activities, learning evaluation contains student learning evaluation results. learning implications on improving speaking skills that have an impact on creating a language environment and developing Islamic understanding

Abstract

Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah Litahfizhil Qur'an Darussalam Sengkubang has attracted the interest of parents to be the main choice as an educational institution for their children at the basic education level, this is motivated by the use of the Qur'an learning method with the Ummi method applied. High public trust is certainly inseparable from the role of teachers who succeed in educating their students to be able to read, write and memorise the Qur'an properly. This study aims to reveal and analyse the efforts of al-Qur'an teachers in improving the ability to read the Qur'an with the Ummi method implemented at MI Litahfizhil Qur'an Darussalam Sengkubang. This research uses a qualitative approach and case study type. Data collection techniques were interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive analysis model which includes data reduction, data display, and verification/conclusion drawing. The results showed that 1) The steps of the teacher in planning the learning of al-Qur'an Ummi method are guided by the rules set by the Ummi Foundation. 2) The teacher's process in implementing the learning of al-Qur'an Ummi method refers to the learning stages set by the Ummi Foundation and adds a slight variation to the implementation process. 3) Teacher techniques in evaluating learning Qur'an Ummi method refers to the evaluation techniques set by the Ummi Foundation. The application of the Ummi method by teachers in learning the Qur'an has a very good impact on students' ability to read the Qur'an.
