Abstract

Sajang Village, Sembalun District, East Lombok Regency is one of the villages located at the foot of Mount Rinjani that has a very good coffee commodity but is only marketed by word of mouth. Digital transformation is the key to raising the potential of coffee commodities as a central element in local economic development. Sajang Village needs to publicize its coffee potential so that the wider community can easily get information about the village. Based on this problem, the community service program in Sajang Village provides assistance in developing an information system to manage coffee marketing in the village, as well as training in digital marketing management using the information management system that has been developed. The methods used are improving coffee marketing methods with attractive packaging, marketing coffee with garden tours, creating digital marketing accounts, as well as entrepreneurship training and marketing with social media. The purpose of implementing this program is to improve Sajang coffee products with attractive packaging, improve marketing with garden tourism by combining natural beauty, the authentic coffee production process, and educational experience, is not only a tourist destination, but also as a learning, providing media to publicize all the potential of the village so that it can be easily accessed by local and foreign communities, as well as conducting entrepreneurship and marketing training with social media to help develop the skills and knowledge needed to market Sajang Village coffee products through social media platforms. The result of this activity is the packaging of Sajang coffee products that are uniquely designed, making it easier to remember and identify by consumers, increasing farmers' income and encouraging economic growth in the area around the plantation, production and quality of Sajang coffee can increase through the application of digital technology so as to encourage local economic growth, and train how to market coffee products, equipping trainees with in-depth skills and knowledge to be able to market Sajang coffee products through various social media platforms.

Abstract

Geres Village is one of the areas located in Labuhan Haji District, East Lombok. Garbage scattered in every ditch, poor environmental sanitation, and dusty and sandy soil types cause environmental problems in this kelurahan. Therefore, socialization and training are held regarding the processing of organic and inorganic waste from household waste. This aims to increase knowledge related to the processing of organic and non-organic waste from household waste, so that it can reduce the negative impact of environmental pollution as well as improve the economy of the Geres Village community. The results of these activities show that it can increase community knowledge regarding the processing of organic waste into compost and non-organic waste into products of economic value such as trash cans, key toys, and flower pots. With this socialization and training, it is hoped that any knowledge shared can be properly conveyed and applied.

Abstract

Loyok Village is one of the Tourism Villages in Sikur District, East Lombok Regency. Many tourists come both from within and outside the country to see and enjoy the tourist objects in Loyok Village such as the woven bamboo art shop and the beautiful views of the rice fields. The English language training activities conducted by the University of Mataram KKN-PMD 2023 aim to improve English language skills for junior high/high school youth in Loyok Village. It is hoped that this capacity building will benefit the people of Loyok Village to make it easier for them to communicate with foreign tourists who come to Loyok Village. The training was attended by 23 representative participants from each hamlet in Loyok Village. This training includes several Speaking materials such as Greeting, Asking and Giving Opinion, Agree and Disagree, and Asking and Giving Direction. This training activity is carried out for 3 weeks, namely every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. This English training activity brings directly tutors who are experienced in speaking English.

Abstract

The climate and regional conditions in Sembalun Lawang Village make it possible to cultivate various types of plants, both types of food crops and horticultural crops. Problems that are often encountered in crop cultivation are pests and diseases that damage cultivated plants, especially for horticultural crops. The use of chemical pesticides is a mainstay of farmers in dealing with pests and diseases. On the other hand, the use of chemical pesticides threatens environmental health. In addition, the stunting rate is also one of the problems in Sembalun Lawang Village. The solution that can be offered is the cultivation of Brazilian spinach organically, namely using compost, seeing that this Brazilian spinach cultivation technique does not require extra care so that it can minimize the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides. Apart from that, Brazilian spinach has many benefits, one of which is that it contains magnesium which is good for bone growth and is good for preventing anemia. Then this Brazilian spinach can also be processed into various processed products that can be consumed by children such as porridge, pudding, smoothies and others which can reduce stunting rates. Apart from processed products that are consumed by children, there are also processed products that can be developed and become new businesses such as Brazilian spinach chips. Therefore, counseling activities on Brazilian spinach cultivation and the manufacture of preparations from Brazilian spinach are one of the things that must be done with the aim of increasing public knowledge and awareness so that they are wiser in using chemical fertilizers and pesticides and opening up opportunities for villagers to open new businesses. from processed Brazilian spinach. This activity was carried out on July 14th and 26th 2023 at Sembalun Lawang Village Office. This activity was attended by Sembalun Lawang Village officials, farmers, female cadres in each hamlet, and mothers with stunted children. This activity is carried out through lecture methods and direct demonstrations. The results of the training show that the community is interested in cultivating Brazilian spinach and interested in making processed products from Brazilian spinach.

Abstract

Pariwisata menjadi salah satu sektor pembangunan yang sangat erat kaitannya dengan pembangunan yang bersifat berkelanjutan sesuai dengan program pemerintah. Berbagai jenis bentuk destinasi wisata merupakan bukti keberagaman yang dimiliki oleh Desa Segara Katon merupakan cakupan sosial budaya yang perlu dijaga dan dilestarikan. secara administratif luas cakupan destinasi pariwisata di Desa Segara Katon dipandang sebagai kegiatan yang mempunyai multidimensi dari rangkaian suatu proses pembangunan yang bersifat berkelanjutan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur pendekatan penelitian yang bersifat kualitatif dan deskriptif. Metode dalam pencarian data dilakukan secara langsung terjun ke lapangan, dimana perolehan data secara langsung merupakan data primer dan data sekunder. sedangkan di daerah pantai mutiara dusun karang jurang dilakukan dengan metode action center : save our earth untuk membersihkan pesisir pantai dari sampah dan pemasanga penunjuk arah pada air terjun tiu pupus. dari semua kegiatan yang dilakukan selama menjalankan KKN di Desa Segara Katon direkam untuk dijadikan bahan video promosi wisata. dari hasil pelaksanaan KKN di Desa Segara Katon, saran yang kami usulkan terhadap pemerintah desa agar melakukan pengelolaan wisata segara katon dengan cara (1) Mengaktifkan POKDARWIS Segara Katon sebagai pengembangan wisata khususnya kepada masyarakat lokal sebagai pelaku atraksi desa,(2) Mengurus legalitas pengelolaan yang perlu di urus dengan Dinas Pariwisata Lombok Utara.

Abstract

Sesait Village is a village with abundant agricultural producers located in Kayangan sub-district, North Lombok district. This village is a village that has a lot of potential to be developed, especially in agriculture and animal husbandry. The livelihood of the majority of the population is farming, gardening and animal husbandry. Honey bee farming is an alternative choice for the people of Sesait village, namely the Trigona honey bee. The purpose of this study is to provide information about the role of the government and the community in dealing with the stunting problem that occurs in Sesait Village. This research partnered with the Sesait village government, Sesait village PKK women, the Dasa Wisma group, and the Santong health center. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of requests for stunting data, interviews with related parties and surveys. Stunting which began to occur in 2021 until now has been able to be overcome by the Sesait village government with an initial number of 165 children affected by stunting until the latest data in 2023 totaling 101 children still suffering from stunting. This drastic development from 2022 to mid-2023 from 134 to 101 children affected by stunting occurred due to the additional nutritional intake of Trigona honey bees for children affected by stunting. In general, giving trigona honey is a solution in dealing with stunting prevention because the content contained in the honey is useful as additional nutrition for toddlers who are stunted.

Abstract

Creative economy empowerment for the community is needed to solve problems, especially in the aspect of abundant harvests. Creative economy is local-based economic development carried out by increasing the selling value of local products so as to increase community income. Therefore, we motivate the community to be able to utilize the harvest into creativity that aims to provide opportunities, development, and development of life welfare, create jobs and independence in building a decent and sufficient life and utilize the potential of the village from abundant harvests to improve the economy. The method used is community-oriented with an approach in development that can realize the order of social life where the actors and determinants of development are the community itself. Based on the research found, we and the community have a decision to make better use of the harvest to improve the quality of life. Creative economy community empowerment aims to provide opportunities for development and development of life welfare, the creation of employment and independence in building a decent and sufficient life and utilizing the potential of abundant harvests to improve the economy of rural communities.

Abstract

Fish potential can be used as one of the foods. This aims to train the community to process fish catches into value-added products, namely fish crackers. Fish crackers, dried snacks made from catambak fish meat, tapioca flour, garlic and flavorings are not widely known by the public. Therefore, we make and introduce the catambak fish cracker product to the public in order to gain popularity because of its enjoyment and delicacy. The inclusion of catambak fish in this business has considerable potential, given its high protein content and economic significance.

Abstract

University of Mataram Real Work Lecture on Village Community Empowerment (KKN-PMD) with the theme "Preneur Village" which was held for 54 days in Suela Village, Suela District, West Lombok Regency which started from 12 June 2023 to 12 August 2023 aiming to help MSMEs in obtaining business licenses, namely Business Identification Number (NIB) and Home. Industry Food Production Certificate (SPP-IRT). Most of the MSMEs in Suela Village do not have legal business licenses, as it is known that MSMEs themselves play a very important role for the economy of Suela Village. The increasing participation of the community in the MSME field has led to an increase in the number of MSME actors in Suela Village. However, with the lack of knowledge about business legality and licensing, many MSMEs do not have business licenses such as Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and Home Industry Food Production Certificates (SPP-IRT). The method used to overcome these problems is to carry out observations and surveys as well as data collection on MSMEs in each hamlet, register business licenses, and carry out outreach to the community. University of Mataram KKN-PMD students assist rural MSMEs in issuing their business permits through Online Single Submission (OSS) and provide understanding related to the importance of legality in doing business and product marketing through socialization held by KKN-PMD University of Mataram students for the continued development of MSMEs in the Village Suela.

Abstract

Labuhan Haji Village has a potential tourist destination. Labuhan Haji Beach has a tourist attraction because around Labuhan Haji beach it not only provides beautiful views but there are mostly grilled fish sellers, food stalls and cafes managed by investors. The problem with the Labuhan Haji beach tourism destination is that they don't have access to markers or directions to tourist sites in Labuhan Haji, especially for new visitors to the area. Directional signs and bulletin boards are very important to show directions and locations in a tourist destination area, as a guide to tourist locations. The absence of direction signs and bulletin boards makes it difficult to find tourist destinations in the village of Labuhan Haji. This Village Community Empowerment Real Work Lecture activity aims to design, manufacture, and install signboards and bulletin boards. The construction of direction boards and bulletin boards consists of poles, plate boards, writing and banners. The pole is designed to be made of iron as high as 2.5 meters. Directional signs are designed to be 60 cm long, 12 cm wide and 0.8 mm thick, made of iron plate. Writing is designed with computer software and made by cutting method and then given a white pilox. While the bulletin board is designed to be made of iron as high as 3 meters and the plate board is designed to be 100 cm long, 70 cm wide and 0.8 mm thick. Iron pole and plate board are welded into one piece with arrow shape. Work on direction signs and bulletin boards includes cutting, welding, sanding, painting, pasting writing, spraying pilox, removing writing residue, excavation and installation.
