Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement in student learning outcomes using a computer-based learning model tutorial type on integrated thematic learning in class IV SDN 01 Benteng Pasar Atas. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) that uses quantitative and qualitative approaches which are carried out in two cycles. The research subjects were teachers and grade IV SDN 01 Benteng Pasar Atas with 30 students. This research was conducted in two cycles, cycle I two meetings and cycle II one meeting. The results showed an increase in 1) The average assessment of the RPP cycle I 83.33% (B) and the second cycle 94.44% (SB), 2) The average observation of the implementation of learning aspects of the first cycle teachers 81.25% (B ) and the second cycle 93.75% (SB), 3) The average observation of the implementation of learning aspects of students cycle I 81.25% (B) and the second cycle 90.62% (SB), 4) Average learning outcomes learners knowledge aspects of the first cycle 69.80 (B) and second cycle 80.05 (B +), 5) The average learning outcomes of the students aspects of the first cycle skills 72.09 (B) and second cycle 80.00 (B) . Thus the computer-based learning model can significantly improve student learning outcomes in integrated thematic learning.

Abstract

Abstract This research was done because teachers did not explain learning materials in details as well as did not provide opportunities to the students to give their opinions and to read the materials as a whole. This research aimed at describing the improvement of students’ social science learning outcome by using the talking stick model. The subjects of the research were thirteen fourth grade students. The result of the lesson plan analysis in cycle I was 87.49 and in cycle II was 92.85. The result of the teachers’ activities analysis in cycle I was 83.32 and in cycle II was 91.66. Meanwhile, the result of the students’ activities analysis in cycle I was 74.99 and in cycle II was 91.66. Finally, the learning outcome in cycle I was 70.89 and in cycle II was 93.24.   Keywords: social science lerning process, the talking stick learning model

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research is to extend teaching content, data presenter by using edmodo aplication, this research is an extending research with 17 people included as subject and gas been done at SDS Al-Azhar Bukittinggi. This extension research is conduct ini several step which are define, design, develop and disseminate. The total of all validation result is 80 which chategorized as sangat valid. Average percentage of practicality test using quistionnaire teacher's responses ia 89,28% which identified as sangat praktis. In the other hand student responses is 90,73% which identified as sangat praktis. Based on validation and practicallity result stated that teaching content which is being extend  is very valid and practical. As a conclusion, the extended teaching content using edmodo aplication on presentasion of data content on elementary school is identified as very valid and very practical. Key words: extention, teaching content, edmodo aplication.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the improvement of student learning outcomes in Civic learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class V SD Koto Gunung, Pesisir Selatan. The type of this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a qualitative and quantitative approach. The study subjects were teachers and 16  students in the grade. This study was conducted in two cycles. Research procedures include, (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results of the study showed an increase in RPP in the first cycle with an average value of 83.91% (B) and the second cycle with an average value of 92.87% (B). Aspects of teachers of the first cycle with an average value of 78.57% (B) and the second cycle with an average value of 91.06% (SB). Aspects of first cycle students with an average value of 74.99% (C) and the second cycle with an average value of 91.06% (SB). Student learning outcomes of cycle I with an average value of 73.35 (C) and cycle II with an average value of 84.27 (SB). Therefore, the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes in Civics in Primary Schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of turn poetry into prose skill by using ICARE models at grade VI student of Elementary School. The type of research is PTK by using qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 29 Pitameh, Padang city with a total of 21 students consisting of 14 male students and 7 female students. The result of the narrative writing skill in the pre-writing at cycle I 66,67 (C) increases on cycle II 82,74 (SB). The writing phase in the first cycle 49,60 (K), increased in the second cycle 79,36 (B), the post-writing phase cycle I 57,54 (C) increases in cycle II 82,54 (B ).                                                                            Keywords: Increased, poetry, prose, ICARE model.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to improved the learning outcomes of student in Social Science Knowledge used PBL on 5th grade elementary school. Types of this research were 25 people consist of 12 men and 13 women. The implementation of this research was conducted in two cycles with research procedure that consist of planning, implementation, observation and reflectio. The results showed an increase in terms of (a) the RPP of cycle I with an average of 75% to 89,28% in cycle II, (b) Implementation teacher’s activity cycle I with an average 83,92% to 92,85% in cycle II, while for the implementationon the students cycle I with an average 80,35% to 92,85% in cycle II, (c) Students learning outcomes in cycle I with an average of 77 be 87,3 in cycle II. It can be concluded that used PBL model can improve students achievement in Social Science Knowledge of 5th grade elementary school at SDN 31 Jati Padang.Keyword : Learning outcomes, Social science, PBL

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in integrated thematic learning caused by several aspects. These aspects include aspects of planning and implementing learning. This study aims to describe the increase in student learning outcomes using the model Group Investigation in integrated thematic learning in Class V B of Bandar Buat 09 Elementary School, Padang City. This type of Classroom Action Research uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research used two cycles consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects needed are researchers, homeroom teachers, and up to 24 students. The results of Cycle I lesson plans were 82.9% (C) and then increased in Cycle II by 95.4% (A). Assessment of the learning process in Cycle I reached 87.45% (B) and increased in Cycle II by 93.7% (A). The learning outcomes of the knowledge aspect of Cycle I was 75.7 (C) then rose to 93.9 (A) in Cycle II. Furthermore, the learning outcomes of the skills aspects of Cycle I were 81.3 (C) increasing to 94.7 (A) in Cycle II. So, it can be said the use of the model Group Investigation is able to increase the learning outcomes of students in integrated thematic learning in Class V B of Bandar Buat 09 Elementary School, Padang City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning results improved by applying a model of integrated thematic study on PBL. This research approach was qualitative and quantitative. Types of penelitianya are the PTK. Research conducted in SDN 15 Ulu Gadut kota Padang. The techniques used are observation, tests and tests. Observational research results RPP cycle I with 92.19% percentage increase in cycle II becomes 96,87%. Aspects of teacher cycle I by 87.5% percentage increase in cycle II becomes 92,85%. Aspects of the learners I cycle with 87.5% percentage increase in cycle II becomes 92,85%. On the attitude of the people there are 8 cycle and cycle II there are 8 learners had attitude stands out. Aspects of the knowledge cycle I with an average increased 75.15 cycle II with an average of 83.96. Aspects of skills on a cycle I by averaging 82.25 escalated on cycle II with an average 87.18. This proves that the PBL model can improve the learning process and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aim was to describe for improve learning achievement  comparison and scale with Media Gambar at the primary school ini 22 Baduih Simawang. The study was a classroom action research consisting of two cycles. Each cycles consisted of planning, action, observation, relection. The data analyzed by using qualitative and quantitative approach.The research subject  at class student IV  SD Negeri22 baduih Simawang with 25 students. The result of the research showed improve learning achievement with Media Gambar Kata Kunci : hasil belajar ; pembelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan : media gambar

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the influence of NHT type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in social studies subjects. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The research design used is nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Based on the results of hypothesis test analysis at 5% significance level obtained t count> ttable (1,798>1,674). The conclusion of this research is the influence of NHT type cooperative learning model to student learning outcomes in IPS subjects.Keywords: Cooperative learning, NHT, learning outcomes
