Abstract

The novel Sunset with Rosie by Tere Liye captures the setting of the impact of the bomb that occurred in Bali regarding the lives of Tegar and Rosie's family. There are many social values ​​that can be found in the novel. Tegar's sincerity in leaving his new life in Jakarta to look after Rosie and her children, the relationship between Tegar and Rosie's children, the willingness of Rosie's children not to hate the Bali Bombing perpetrators, and so on. Based on the quote above, researchers are interested in researching the social values ​​contained in the novel Sunset Bersama Rosie by Tere Liye, because nowadays social criticism has become a problem that requires a lot of action. Especially in the world of learning. The title of the scientific work is "Analysis of Social Values ​​in the Novel Sunset Bersama Rosie by Tere Liye" The aim of this research is to describe the Social Values ​​contained in the novel Sunset Bersama Rosie by Tere Liye. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research by analyzing the analysis of social values ​​in the novel Sunset with Rosie by Tere Liye. The object of research is the novel Sunset with Rosie by Tere Liye. The value contained in the novel Sunset with Rosie by Tere Liye is something that encourages a person to be better. The types of social values ​​contained in the novel Sunset with Rosie by Tere Liye contain three forms of social values, namely social values ​​towards God, oneself and fellow humans. Social values ​​of human relationships with God such as gratitude, sincerity and accepting fate. Social values ​​of human relationships with oneself such as, Never Giving Up, Responsibility, Humility, Independence and Honesty. The social values ​​of human relationships with fellow human beings include, please help, respect others, care for each other, remind each other, be willing to make sacrifices, and be alert. Of the three social values ​​contained in the novel Sunset Bersama Rosie, the social value is the most dominant in the novel Sunset Bersama Rosie by Tere Liye is the social value of human relations between humans. This is because there is a lot of social interaction carried out in the novel involving the main character and other characters which creates social interaction between humans.

Abstract

Kearifan lokal menjadi isu penting karena merupakan bagian yang tidak terpisahkan dari keanekaragaman budaya dan warisan budaya suatu daerah atau negara. Kearifan lokal mencakup berbagai pengetahuan dan nilai-nilai yang telah diwariskan secara turun-temurun dari generasi ke generasi, dan terkait dengan praktik dan tradisi yang unik dari suatu komunitas. Namun, kearifan lokal seringkali terancam oleh berbagai faktor seperti globalisasi, modernisasi, urbanisasi, dan pengaruh budaya asing yang semakin meluas. Hal ini dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya kemerosotan bahkan kehilangan nilai-nilai dan praktik kearifan lokal yang telah diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi sehingga tujuan dari penelitian ini menggambarkan kearifan lokal masyarakat di Sumatera Utara khususnya di Danau Toba terhadap film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap. Hal ini sangat menarik untuk dikaji karena film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap menyajikan aneka isu yang memiliki sangkut-paut erat dengan budaya Batak. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian antropologi sastra dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dalam melakukan kajian terhadap kearifan lokal di fim Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap. Proses pengumpulan data mencari data dengan cara menyimak dan memahami isi dari film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap, mengkaji lingkungan sosial dalam film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap, mengklasifikasikan data yang terkait dengan unsur struktural dan kearifan lokal yang ada pada film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap. Maka dapat diperoleh hasil kearifam lokal dalam film Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap sebanyak 16 data seperti: tradisi dan budaya sebanyak 10 data, kain ulos sebanyak 1 data, rumah adat sebanyak 1 data, makanan khas sebanyak 1 data, sumber daya manusia sebanyak1 data dan sumber daya alam sebanyak 2 data.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of the educational television show “Si Bolang” on life values through a literary sociology perspective. “Si Bolang” is a children’s program that shows the adventures of a child in exploring cultural diversity and local wisdom in various regions of Indonesia. By using content analysis methods and in-depth interviews, this research aims to identify the social, cultural and moral values represented in these shows and their impact on the understanding and behavior of viewers, especially children. The research results show that “Si Bolang” effectively conveys values such as mutual cooperation, tolerance, love of the environment, and respect for local wisdom. This show also plays a role in forming awareness of multiculturalism and national identity in its viewers. This research provides insight into the potential of mass media, especially educational television programs, in transmitting positive values and shaping the character of Indonesia’s young generation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan analisis sosial dalam novel Laskar Pelangi karya Andrea Hirata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Laskar Pelangi karya Andrea Hirata. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi (content analysis). Teknik analisis isi adalah teknik yang dasar penafsirannya memberikan perhatian pada isi pesan yang terdapat dalam dokumen-dokumen berupa buku teks, koran, novel dan lain sebagainya. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa novel Laskar Pelangi mengandung empat unsur masalah sosial, yaitu: (1) kemiskinan (2) permasalahan pendidikan (3) ketidaksetaraan sosial (4) Diskriminasi etnis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya perbedaan pembagian atau lapisan sosial dalam novel Laskar Pelangi karya Andrea Hirata. Terdapat beberapa simbol perjuangan kelas yang menekankan perjuangan kelas bawah melawan kelas penguasa dalam masyarakat Belitong. Tema kelas sosial dalam karya ini juga menjadi cerminan moral dan sosial masyarakat Belitong pada tahun 1970-an. Kajian terhadap novel Laskar Pelangi dari sudut pandang teori sastra Marxis diharapkan dapat mengungkap kerasnya kelas sosial masyarakat Belitong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data penelitian ini berupa kalimat deskriptif, narasi dan dialog antar tokoh dalam novel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya bentuk perbedaan kelas sosial dalam Novel Laskar Pelangi, yaitu ketidakmerataan akses dan fasilitas sekolah, tenaga guru yang kurang memadai, dan sulitnya akses perjalanan.

Abstract

The research aims to prove that a person's speech acts can be categorized as unlawful. This study includes the text and context of someone's speech. The data for this research comes from the BAP reporting from the Republic of Indonesia Police, South Labuhan Batu Police. The method used in analyzing data is speech events, aspects of speech situations according to Leech. 1. Speakers and addressees (addressers or addressees) Speakers and addressees include speakers and listeners. 2. The context of an utterance. Context is all background knowledge, 3. The goals of an utterance. The results of this research are that it can be proven that the speech acts carried out by the reporting party can be categorized as defaming the reporter or victim using the mode of accusations of lies, incitement and persecution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai moral pada kumpulan cerpen Yang Lahir Hilang Menangis karya Alda Muhsi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada permasalahan nilai pendidikan karakter yang ditampilkan objek penelitian. Nilai moral dan sikap patuh pada orang tua yang ditampilkan dalam kumpulan cerpen Yang Lahir Hilang Menangis yaitu nilai kasih sayang, kekeluargaan, kepedulian, tanggung jawab dan toleransi. Hasil penelitian ini kemudian direlevansikan sebagai bahan ajar topik cerpen di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) kelas VIII. Berdasarkan Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang dilakukan, guru menyatakan bahwa kumpulan cerpen Yang Lahir Hilang Menangis memiliki kesesuaian dengan kompetensi inti, kompetensi dasar, dan komponen RPP yang berlaku disekolah.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' understanding of the media transfer in Indonesian language learning, as well as the limited use of media/teaching materials. This study aims to describe the process of transferring the media of the short story "Robohnya Surau Kami" by A.A. Navis into a drama script, then describe the implications of changing the form of the short story into a drama script for literature learning in high school. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive research. The results of this study show that the changes in the media transfer of the short story "Robohnya Surau Kami" by A.A. Navis into a drama script have undergone changes in the form of additional dialogue, sampiran text, characters, and situations. Changes in the form of reducing dialogue and situations. Then changes in the form of changes in variations, namely characters and situations. And show teaching materials and teaching materials for teacher references in providing students with an understanding of the media transfer.

Abstract

Genetic structuralism analysis of the short story entitled Kemarau to be studied using sociolinguistic studies. This research aims to determine genetic structuralism in the form of human facts and the author's world view of a dry short story. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. This type of qualitative research has a descriptive nature and leads to analysis. Descriptive research is a research method that aims to present research results. The data in this research comes from the short story entitled kemarau. The data collection technique in this research is by reading and noting technical words found in short stories. The steps taken in this research are examining the problem, collecting data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions from the research results. The subject of this research is the short story entitled "Kemarau" by Andrea Hirata.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate social conflict from the short story titled "Dilema Nara" by AlyaKhalisah. This approach is to understand the development and present the social reality about an unharmonious family. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection technique in this study involves careful reading, noting, and case studies of conflicts present in the story. The instruments used in this study are note sheets and readings of the short story originating from a website. The steps taken in this study include identifying the problem, collecting data, presenting data, and making conclusions from the research results. The subject of this study is the short story titled "Dilema Nara" by Alya Khalisah.
