Madania: Jurnal Kajian Keislaman is a peer-reviewed international journal focusing on Islamic studies. Madania accepts two types of articles: Research Articles: Scholarly reports presenting the results of quantitative or qualitative studies that contribute to the advancement of knowledge in Islamic studies across the six themes. Conceptual Articles: Papers offering theoretical perspectives, models, or philosophical analyses relevant to Islamic studies, engaging with contemporary theories and frameworks. All submissions to Madania undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure high standards of quality and academic integrity. The journal is committed to publishing original, innovative, and impactful research that addresses contemporary challenges in the Islamic world.

Abstract

Gaining a deep understanding of the curriculum development process and which parties are involved in the development of the Islamic religious education curriculum at the school level in an era that is now utterly digital technology is the primary goal of this study. We searched for data and information to answer this study through examined the literature of book publications and scientific articles. This study used an indepth interpretation approach and document analysis and data coding to produce valid evidence to answer this question. From the results of the study and discussion, it can be concluded that the parties have fully contributed to the development of the curriculum for teaching Islamic religious education in the digital era; Among others, policy making at the central level is forwarded by the education office in the provinces and ends with implementation and financial inclusion at the school unit level as well as involving the leadership of the parent committee and the wider community. Another contribution that is more important is the involvement of technology experts who accompany curriculum development. Mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang proses pengembangan kurikulum dan pihak-pihak mana saja yang terlibat dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam di tingkat sekolah di era yang serba digital saat ini menjadi tujuan utama penelitian ini. Kami mencari data dan informasi untuk menjawab penelitian ini melalui telaah literatur publikasi buku dan artikel ilmiah. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan interpretasi mendalam dan analisis dokumen dan koding data untuk menghasilkan bukti yang valid untuk menjawab pertanyaan tersebut. Dari hasil kajian dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa para pihak telah berkontribusi penuh dalam pengembangan kurikulum pengajaran pendidikan agama Islam di era digital; antara lain pengambilan kebijakan di tingkat pusat diteruskan oleh dinas pendidikan di provinsi dan diakhiri dengan pelaksanaan dan inklusi keuangan di tingkat satuan sekolah serta melibatkan pimpinan komite orang tua dan masyarakat luas. Kontribusi lain yang lebih penting adalah keterlibatan ahli teknologi yang mendampingi pengembangan kurikulum.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to explain the concept of character education contained in the book of Hikam and its relevance to Indonesia's national character education program. This research was a library study that employed the content analysis technique. The data collection method was the documentation technique. The findings of this study indicate that the concept of character education in the book of Hikam emphasizes religious character education. This approach focuses on uluhiyyah (divinity), suggesting that humans should align all their life activities with God by spreading goodness in all circumstances. The closer and more obedient a person is to God, the more character and noble that person would be. This religious education is an exercise (riyadhah) and sincerity (mujahadah) that is well organized and systematic and carried out by an educator to shape a pious personality in a student, both physically and spiritually. The concept of religious character refers to faith, honesty, piety, sincerity, and patience. Religious character teaches human being to become a person with character and responsibility. The character education values in the book of Hikam strengthen Indonesia's national character education program. In Sheikh Ibn Atha'illah's view, the character education strategy are divided into two stages: planting and spreading. Religious education is very relevant to the national character education strategy, such as intervention (instilling character in students) and habituation (instilling character through the environment). Studi ini bertujuan menjelaskan konsep pendidikan karakter yang ada dalam kitab Sufi Hikam serta relevansinya terhadap program nasional pendidikan karakter yang ada di Indonesia. Penelitian ini adalah library research yang mengunakan teknik content analisa. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik dokumentasi. Temuan dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep pendidikan karakter yang ada pada kitab sufi Hikam adalah pendidikan karakter religious yang mengacu pada karakter uluhiyyah (ketuhanan), yakni manusia harus mengorientasikan segala aktivitas kehidupanya kepada tuhan dengan menyebarkan kebaikan dimana saja berada. Semakin dekat dan taat seseorang kepada tuhanya maka orang tersebut akan semakin berkarakter dan berakhlak mulia. Pendidikan religius ini merupakan suatu latihan (riyadhah) dan kesungguhan (mujahadah) yang terencana dan sistematis, serta dilakukan oleh seorang pendidik untuk membentuk kepribadian yang shaleh pada seorang anak didik baik dari segi jasmani maupun rohaninya. Konsep karakter religius ini mengacu pada nilai-nilai keimanan, kejujuran, ketakwaan, keikhlasan dan kesabaran. Kitab Hikam mendidik seorang manusia menjadi pribadi yang berkarakter dan bertangung jawab. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada kitab Hikam menguatkan program nasional pendidikan karakter di Indonesia. Strategi pendidikan karakter dalam pandangan Syeikh Ibnu Atha’illah dibagi dalam dua tahap, yaitu proses penanaman dan penyebaran. Hal ini sangat relevan dengan strategi pendidikan karakter nasional, yaitu intervensi (penanaman karakter pada diri peserta didik), dan habituasi (penanaman karakter melalui lingkungan).

Abstract

This article aims to sense the intellectual and social dynamics of alums of Islamic boarding schools or the pesantren from Bangka Island and their role in State Islamic University, PTKIN in Indonesia. These issues are analyzed with Linton's role theory. This qualitative research takes primary data from eight informants, while secondary data is taken from other informants as an addition. The data was collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The "Snow-ball Sampling" method obtained 57 informants and narrowed them down to eight. In addition, they were analyzed using three stages: orientation, exploration, and focus study. The results of this study explain that there are eight people from Bangka Island as alumni of the pesantren who have been currently taking part in PTKIN throughout Indonesia by occupying strategic positions and having significant influence in them, such as Prof. Dr. Zulkifli, M.A (Deputy Chancellor 1 of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), Dr. Zayadi, M.Ag (Chancellor of IAIN SAS Babel), Prof. Dr. Hatamar Rasyid (Deputy Chancellor 2 of IAIN SAS Babel), Dr. Misdar, M.Ag (Dean of the Faculty of Sharia IAIN SAS BABEL), Prof. Rohimin, M.Ag (Director of Postgraduate Program at UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu), Dr. Muhamad Fauzi, M.Ag, (Deputy Dean 1 of Tarbiyah Faculty at UIN RAFA Palembang), Dr. Abdurrahmansyah, M.Ag (Head of Islamic Studies Program at UIN RAFA Palembang), Dr. Ahmad Izzan (Senate Secretary of the Ethics Commission of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung). These academics became real examples of intellectual and social dynamics of pesantren graduates from Bangka Island who succeeded in participating in their respective PTKINs. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dinamika sosial intelektual alumni pondok pesantren asal pulau Bangka dan peran mereka di PTKIN. Permasalahan tersebut dianalisis dengan teori peran ala Linton. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualilatif yang mengambil sumber data primer dari delapan informan, sedangkan data sekunder diambil dari informan lain sebagai tambahan. Cara menentukan informan mlalui, “Snow-ball Sampling” didapatkan 57 informan dan mengerucut menjadi delapan. Penggalian data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Data yang didapatkan dianalisis dengan menggunakan tiga tahapan, yaitu orientasi, eksplorasi, dan studi terfokus. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa terdapat delapan orang asal Pulau Bangka sebagai alumni pondok pesantren yang saat ini berkiprah di PTKIN se-Indonesia dengan menduduki posisi strategis dan memiliki pengaruh penting di dalamnya seperti Prof. Dr.Zulkifli, M.A (Wakil Rektor 1 UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta), Dr. Zayadi, M.Ag (Rektor IAIN SAS Babel), Prof.Dr.Hatamar Rasyid (Wakil Rektor 2 IAIN SAS Babel), Dr.Misdar, M.Ag (Dekan Fak.Syariah IAIN SAS BABEL), Prof. Dr. Rohimin, M.Ag (Dir.Pascasrjana UIN Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu), Dr. Muhamad Fauzi, M.Ag, (Wakil Dekan 1 Tarbiyah UIN RAFA Palembang), Dr. Abdurrahmansyah, M.Ag (Kaprodi Studi Islam Pascasarjana UIN RAFA Palembang), Dr. Ahmad Izzan (Sekretaris Senat Komisi Etik UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung). Para akademisi tersebut menjadi contoh nyata dalam perhelatan dinamika sosial intelektual lulusan pesantren asal Pulau Bangka yang berhasil berkiprah di PTKIN-nya masing-masing.

Abstract

This study focused on the phenomena or dynamics of the struggle for religious ideology that occur in the educational institutions (SMP/MTs and SMA/MA) of Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama in East Java. Therefore, this study sought to see the internalization of the religious ideological values of Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama in their education systems. Especially, when looking at clashes of religious thought that contain other ideologies (such as transnational (Salafi, Wahabi, and Shia), conservative/traditional, and reformist/modernist ideologies). This study used a qualitative approach and techniques for data collection used participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model consisting of four stages, namely, data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusion. This study found that the educational institutions of Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama have paradigmatic similarities, namely, ideology is positioned and functionalized as the motive and legitimacy of their educational actions and religious privileges. The expanding opportunities for dissemination and reproduction of other ideologies in their educational institutions are due to the very open nature of their religious understanding (Muhammadiyah has an understanding of Islamic Manhaji, and Nahdlatul Ulama has an understanding of Islamic mahzabi). Riset ini memfokuskan pada fenomena atau dinamika pergulatan ideologi keagamaan yang terjadi di kelembagaan pendidikan (SMP/MTs dan SMA/MA) Muhammadiyah dan Nahdlatul Ulama di propinsi Jawa Timur. Karenanya, riset ini berupaya melihat internalisasi nilai-nilai ideologis keagamaan Muhammadiyah dan Nahdlatul Ulama dalam sistem kependidikannya. Terutama ketika melihat benturan-benturan pemikiran keagamaan yang memuat ideologi lain (seperti ideologi transnasional (Salafi, Wahabi, dan Syi’ah), konservatif/tradisional, dan reformis/modernis). Riset ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data memakai observasi partisipasi, wawancara mendalam; dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis datanya memakai model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: koleksi data, kondensasi data, display data, dan kesimpulan. Riset ini menemukan, kelembagaan pendidikan Muhammadiyah dan Nahdlatul Ulama memiliki persamaan paradigmatik, yaitu: ideologi diposisikan dan difungsionalisasikan sebagai motif serta legitimasi tindakan kependidikan dan privelege keberagamaan mereka. Pembentangan peluang diseminasi dan reproduksi ideologi lain di kelembagaan pendidikan mereka, disebabkan sifat pemahaman keagamaan mereka yang sangat terbuka (Muhammadiyah berpahaman Islam Manhaji, dan Nahdlatul Ulama memiliki pemahaman Islam mazhabi).

Abstract

In order to apply what has been learnt in a contemporary situation, Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) serve as a metaphor for transferring knowledge and skills. Curriculum 2013 places emphasis on these diverse higher order thinking processes. This study intended to examine what challenges students at Islamic High School in Bengkulu had while using HOTS to answer questions about reading and what caused them to still make mistakes in this situation. The research was descriptive in nature. Techniques of data collection subsumed observation, interviews, and documentation. The results demonstrated that the students still struggled with word misinterpretation at the analysis stage. They had a hard time understanding the information in the provided text during the evaluating stage, and they also struggled to analyze the questions’ intentions. The students had a hard time coming up with concepts for new items during the creation stage. The second discovery demonstrated that the elements such as time, students’ mastery, students’ learning abilities, and the learning environment should all be taken into account. This study concluded that some of these issues, including obstacles, may be to blame for students' poor aptitude for solving HOTS-based problems. This study contributes to providing English academicians with the demographic picture of students’ challenges and factors related to HOTS. Untuk menerapkan apa yang telah dipelajari dalam situasi kontemporer, keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi berfungsi sebagai metafora untuk mentransfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Kurikulum 2013 menekankan pada beragam proses berpikir tingkat tinggi ini. Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengkaji tantangan apa yang dimiliki siswa Madrasah Aliyah Bengkulu saat menggunakan HOTS untuk menjawab pertanyaan tentang membaca dan apa yang menyebabkan mereka masih melakukan kesalahan dalam situasi tersebut. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data kualitatif meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subjek masih berkutat dengan kesalahan interpretasi kata pada tahap analisis. Individu kesulitan memahami informasi dalam teks yang disediakan selama tahap evaluasi, dan mereka juga berjuang untuk menganalisis maksud pertanyaan. Ketiga subjek mengalami kesulitan untuk menghasilkan konsep item baru selama tahap pembuatan. Penemuan kedua adalah bahwa unsur-unsur seperti waktu, penguasaan siswa, kemampuan belajar siswa, dan lingkungan belajar semuanya harus diperhitungkan. Peneliti dapat menarik kesimpulan bahwa beberapa masalah ini, termasuk hambatan, mungkin menjadi penyebab rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah berbasis HOTS. Penelitian ini memeberikan akademisi Bahasa Inggris tentang gambaran demografi terkait tantangan dan faktor HOTS siswa.

Abstract

This study has described the implementation of the morals of santri in pesantren (Islamic boarding schools) in Serang City in order to prevent radicalism-terrorism under the guise of religion. This study used qualitative research because it has emphasized on curiosity about implementing santri's morality in preventing radicalism-terrorism. In collecting research data, researchers used the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicated that students' morality could be improved through the implementation of habituation (habit) of students such as qiyamul lail prayer, reading, memorizing and practicing the Quran, morning and evening remembrance, learning faith, sharia, and morals. Religious education in Islamic boarding schools has a role in filtering and countering the notion of radicalism-terrorism. Religious education is carried out in the form of accustoming students to study according to the religious education curriculum, especially the education of aqidah firqah (group) ahlussunnah waljama’'ah, Islamic sharia manhaj (method) four schools of thought, and morals tariqah (way) sufism. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi akhlakul karimah santri di pondok pesantren se-Kota Serang dalam upaya mencegah paham-paham radikalisme-terorisme yang berkedok agama. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif, hal ini dikarenakan akan lebih konsentrasi pada keingintahuan tentang implementasi akhlakul karimah santri dalam mencegah radikalisme-terorisme. Dalam pengumpulan data penelitian di lapangan, peneliti menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah akhlakul karimah santri dapat ditingkatkan melalui implementasi pembiasaan (habit) santri seperti shalat qiyamul lail, membaca, menghafal dan mengamalkan Alquran, zikir pagi dan petang, belajar ilmu akidah, syariah, dan akhlak. Pendidikan keagamaan di pondok pesantren memiliki peran filterisasi dan menangkal paham radikalisme-terorisme. Pendidikan keagamaan diterapkan dalam bentuk pembiasaan pada santri dalam belajar sesuai dengan kurikulum pendidikan agama terutama pendidikan akidah firqah (golongan) ahlussunnah waljama’ah, syariah Islam manhaj (metode) empat madzhab, dan akhlak thariqah (jalan) tasawuf.

Abstract

The implementation of Islamic school management policies is important, keep in mind that there are still many educational issues of concern, especially regarding ethics and other values. The training strategy adds to the improvements in the implementation of the main Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. This research is expected to find out how the implementation of policies regarding the establishment of Islamic schools is carried out in the 4.0 era. Research attempts to reveal instructional arrangements in improving PAI learning in the 4.0 era which have been carried out by involving a subjective approach as a method of checking to produce information that has novelty. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach with literature study. As a result, the transformation of Islamic education is used to find a way out of the problems that occur, thus strengthening Islamic educational institutions and the need for quality management quality improvements, effective leadership, and the need to reform educational policies, so that they are able to compete and the results can create creative, innovative, possessing human beings. Good character, independence, love for the motherland and religion in order to become a stronghold in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 where in this era human resources are required to be fast, precise, attractive and productive. Implementasi penerapan kebijakan pengelolaan sekolah Islam penting, mengingat masih banyak masalah pendidikan yang memperihatinkan terutama tentang etika dan tata nila lainnya. Strategi pelatihan menambah perbaikan dalam implementasi pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) yang utama. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menemukan bagaimana pelaksanaan implementasi kebijakan mengenai pendirian sekolah Islam di era 4.0. Penelitian berusaha mengungkapkan penyusunan instruksional dalam peningkatan pembelajaran PAI di era 4.0 yang telah dilakukan dengan melibatkan pendekatan subjektif sebagai metode pemeriksaan menghasilkan informasi yang memiliki kebaruan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan diskriptif kualitatif dengan studi pustaka. Hasilnya pentransformasian pendidikan Islam digunakan untuk menemukan jalan keluar dari masalah yang terjadi, sehingga menguatkan lembaga pendidikan Islam serta diperlukannya perbaikan kualitas manajemen yang bermutu, kepemimpinan yang efektif, serta perlunya mereformasi kebijakan pendidikan, sehingga mampu bersaing dan hasilnya dapat mewujudkan manusia kreatif, inovatif, memiliki karakter baik, mandiri, cinta tanah air dan religius guna menjadi benteng di era revolusi industri 4.0 yang mana dalam era ini sumber daya manusia dituntut menjadi sumber daya cepat, tepat, menarik, dan produktif,

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of student moral formation at MTsN 1 Bengkulu City. This research uses a qualitative approach by examining social phenomena in an atmosphere that occurs naturally. The researcher acts as an observer in the formation of morals at MTsN 1 Bengkulu City. The research instrument used was data collection techniques, interviews, and observations in learning to read the Koran, as well as through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of the interviews, it was found that the formation of morals towards oneself at MTsN 1 Bengkulu City was good. This can be seen in the formation of morals by reciting the Quran before entering class, praying dhuha in the congregation, making disciplinary rules, and punishing those who violate it. The formation of morals towards parents is done by making rules that have made students have good morals, plus the role of parents as a factor that can be used as a step in improving student morals. The formation of morals towards friends/friends produces good morals that can be used in social life after they enter society. The formation of morals towards teachers needs to be improved with better steps because students will respect teachers with good morals. The formation of morals towards older and younger people states that MTsN 1 Bengkulu City has taught its students always to respect elders. The formation of morals towards the environment / surrounding environment proves that MTsN 1 Bengkulu City has taken reasonable steps in forming morals at school. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi pembentukan moral siswa di MTsN 1 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan cara mengkaji fenomena sosial dalam suasana yang berlangsung secara natural. Peneliti berperan sebagai pemerhati dalam pembentukan akhlak di MTsN 1 Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data, wawancara, dan observasi dalam proses pembelajaran membaca Alquran, serta melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara didapatkan bahwa pembentukan akhlak terhadap diri sendiri di MTsN 1 Kota Bengkulu sudah baik. Hal ini terlihat dari pembentukan akhlak dengan mengaji sebelum masuk kelas, sholat dhuha berjamaah, membuat aturan disiplin , memberikan hukuman bagi yang melanggarnya. Pembinaan akhlak terhadap orang tua dilakukan dengan membuat peraturan yang telah menjadikan siswa memiliki akhlak yang baik ditambah peran orang tua sebagai faktor yang dapat dijadikan sebagai langkah dalam meningkatkan akhlak siswa. Pembentukan akhlak terhadap teman/sahabat menghasilkan akhlak yang baik yang dapat digunakan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat setelah mereka memasuki masyarakat. Pembinaan akhlak terhadap guru perlu ditingkatkan dengan langkah-langkah yang lebih baik, karena dengan akhlak yang baik siswa akan menghormati guru. Pembentukan akhlak terhadap yang lebih tua dan lebih muda menyatakan bahwa MTsN 1 Kota Bengkulu telah mengajarkan kepada siswanya untuk selalu menghormati orang yang lebih tua. Pembentukan akhlak terhadap lingkungan/lingkungan sekitar membuktikan bahwa MTsN 1 Kota Bengkulu telah mengambil langkah yang baik dalam pembentukan akhlak di sekolah.

Abstract

This study described the education of children with special needs from the perspective of Islamic education psychology. Education in Indonesia was a right that everyone was obtained. Everyone has the right to receive a proper education, even if that person belongs to the children with special needs category. This research has been a literature study that examined the object of research on the education of children with special needs related to the psychology of Islamic education. This study used documentation techniques in terms of collecting research data. The documentation technique in question was that researchers collect related documents in the form of books, journals, and other scientific works that are relevant to the object of research. An important finding in this study has been that the psychological concept of Islamic education educates the physical and spiritual aspects. Islamic educational psychology has four essential dimensions which must be fulfilled; Physical-Biological Education for Children with Special Needs, Psycho-Educational Education for Children with Special Needs, Spiritual Education for Children with Special Needs, and Socio-Cultural Education for Children with Special Needs. These four dimensions of Education must be balanced to create a balance for the overall growth of children with special needs by training their souls, mind, and body. Studi ini mengambarkan pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus dalam perspektif psikologi pendidikan Islam. Pendidikan di Indonesia merupakan suatu hak yang bisa didapatkan oleh semua orang. Setiap orang berhak untuk menerima pendidikan yang layak meskipun orang tersebut termasuk kategori orang yang berkebutuhan khusus. Penelitian ini adalah studi kepustakaan yang mengkaji objek penelitian tentang pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus yang dihubungkan psikologi pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik dokumentasi dalam hal pengumpulan data penelitian. Teknik dokumentasi yang dimaksud adalah peneliti mengumpulkan dokumen-dokumen terkait baik yang berbentuk buku, jurnal, maupun karya ilmiah lainnya yang relevan dengan obyek penelitian. Temuan penting dalam penelitian ini adalah konsep psikologi pendidikan Islam tidak hanya mendidik sisi jasmaniah semata tetapi juga dari sisi ruhaniah. Psikologi pendidikan Islam memiliki empat dimensi penting yang harus terpenuhi agar pendidikan anak berkebutuhan khusus bisa berjalan secara maksimal, yaitu Pendidikan Fisik-Biologis Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus, Pendidikan Psiko-Edukatif Anak Berkebutuhan khusus, Pendidikan Ruhaniah-Spiritual Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus dan Pendidikan Sosio-Kultural Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus. Kempat dimensi pendidikan ini harus dilakukan secara seimbang agar menciptakan keseimbangan pertumbuhan kepribadian anak berkebutuhan khusus secara menyeluruh, dengan cara melatih jiwa, akal pikiran, dan fisiknya.

Abstract

This article explores the development of teacher quality dimensions in improving the quality of national education. Methods This research uses a case study with a mixed methods approach. The sampling technique uses a random sampling technique with respondents. Based on the findings in this study, the results of the analysis were obtained with a Satorra-Bentler Scaled Chi-Square value of 189.190 and a p-value coefficient of 0.070 > 0.05, RMSEA of 0.030 <0.080, CFI ≥ 0.90, so the model obtained is "good fit" (acceptable model suitability) then the dimensions in the professional management of teachers in improving the quality of education are the three dimensions of learning which include lesson preparation, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, the results of the information obtained by students expect quality teachers such as having preparation, knowledge/ability in teaching, class management, personality, dedication, open-mindedness, responsibility, varied teaching methods, punctual work, and good judgment. This research suggests that if changes in the education system need to be developed, policy recommendations prioritize teacher staff and the determinants of teacher effectiveness. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendalami perkembangan dimensi kualitas guru dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan nasional. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dengan pendekatan mix methods. Teknik sampling menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan responden. Berdasarkan temuan pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil analisis dengan nilai Satorra-Bentler Scaled Chi-Square sebesar 189,190 dan koefisien p value sebesar 0,070 > 0,05, RMSEA sebesar 0,030 < 0,080, CFI ≥ 0,90 maka model yang diperoleh adalah “good fit” (kecocokan model dapat diterima). Oleh sebab itu, dimensi dalam pengelolaan profesional guru dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan yaitu pada tiga dimensi pembelajaran yang meliputi persiapan pembelajaran, implementasi dan evaluasi. Selain itu, hasil informasi yang diperoleh siswa mengharapkan guru yang berkualitas seperti memiliki persiapan, pengetahuan/ kemampuan dalam mengajar, manajemen kelas, berkepribadian, berdedikasi, berpikiran terbuka, bertanggung jawab, metode pengajaran yang bervariasi, tepat waktu dalam bekerja serta melakukan penilaian yang baik. Saran penelitian ini yaitu jika perubahan sistem pendidikan perlu dikembangkan maka rekomendasi kebijakan mengedepankan tenaga guru dan faktor penentu efektivitas guru.
