Abstract

Perilaku agresif adalah luapan emosi sebagai reaksi kegagalan remaja yang dimanifestasikan dalam kata dan sikap-perilaku. Penelitian ini ingin menguji hubungan antara perlakuan orangtua dan perilaku agresif remaja. Penelitian dilakukan atas siswa SMAN di Malang. Sampel multistage terdiri atas siswa SMA pusat kota dan pinggiran kota. Data dikumpulkan dengan inventori perilaku agresif dan inventori pola sikap orangtua. Analisis dilakukan dengan korelasi momen tangkar dan regresi umum. Ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pola sikap orangtua dan perilaku agresif anak (remaja). Namun pola sikap demokratis memberi sumbangan yang kecil terhadap pembentukan perilaku agresif.

Abstract

Government decision for developing affective domain at school is a wise policy. It is done by integrating the teaching of affective domain in all teaching activities, and the teachers here should be the models for their students. Teaching evaluation is focused on the process of teaching and group work. Through this activity the students will be able to live together, respect their diversity, and love each other.

Abstract

Hedonism’s View of Moral Education. Hedonism believes in pleasure as the highest good and humankind’s proper or sole aim. Moral education which is based on this philosophy will result in learners who pursue satisfaction of desires or wishes or immediate physical-biological enjoyment and thus neglect the mental-spiritual aspects of the education as these aspects do not offer immediate satisfaction and physical-biological enjoyment. As a result, teachers and learners place heavy emphasis on educational activities which are concrete and useful for practical purposes in life.

Abstract

The aims of this causal, comparative survey were to describe lecturers’ commitment and to examine the effects of personal, organizational, and non-organizational factors on lecturers’ commitment. Using proportional stratified random sampling, this study involved 153 lecturers of the III-rank wage scale selected out of the 513 lecturers. The data were collected through questionnaires and documents and then analyzed using correlations, multiple regression, and t-test. The findings suggest that personal and organizational factors were of good category and had positive relationship with lecturers’ commitment, whereas non-organizational factor was not as good and had no correlation with lecturers’ commitment. In general, the lecturers were highly committed and there was no difference in commitment between male and female lecturers.

Abstract

The study aimed to describe the relevance of vocational-school programs to job-vacancy requirements. Proportional cluster random sampling was employed to take the sample. Data were collected using documentation, observation, questionnaire, and interview and then analyzed for their content and percentage. The results show that vocational school’s programs had relatively a high relevance to job vacancy (66%). Among graduates of vocational schools, improving skills was done through courses, experience, and information from fellows and industry. Self-study and working experience were found useful to improve knowledge.

Abstract

This classroom action research was designed to improve the capabilities of primary school teachers' in applying simple experimenta-tions in science learning. This three cycles study was held in class III of a public primary school in Makassar Muicipality. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and discussion, and then analyzed by percentage in the end of each cycle. The results indicated that the teachers' capabilities seemed to be increased in planning experimentations, in designing work-sheets, and in guiding pupils' practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan pelaksanaan CBSA dan motivasi berprestasi serta hasil belajar di Kodya Blitar, dan untuk menguji hubungan antara CBSA dengan hasil belajar, antara motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar, serta antara CBSA dan motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar. Populasi adalah siswa SD kelas V Kodya Blitar tahun 1993/1994. Sampling dilakukan secara rambang purposif berstrata. Data dianalisis dengan uji t, korelasi momen tangkar dan analisis regresi. Ditemukan bahwa CBSA dan motivasi berprestasi siswa di Kepanjen Kidul lebih tinggi dibandingkan di Sanan Wetan dan Sukorejo. Hasil belajar siswa di Sanan Wetan lebih tinggi dibandingkan di Kepanjen Kidul dan Sukorejo. Ada hubungan positif antara CBSA dengan hasil belajar, antara motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar, serta antara CBSA dan motivasi berprestasi dengan hasil belajar.

Abstract

This studi was aimed at describing the problems faced by women working as street-vendors. The sample consisted of 98 female street-vendors (PKL) in five cities of West Sumatera using cluster proportional random sampling. The data were collected through interview and analyzed statistically using percentage technique. The findings indicated that the problems faced by the women in household were lack of time to educate their children and conflicts with their husbands. The problems seemed to have some implications to the practices of guidance and counseling done through the out-of-school programs.

Abstract

Filsafat pendidikan orang dewasa adalah cabang filsafat pendidikan yang mempelajari dasar-dasar filosofis dan hakikat tujuan pendidikan orang dewasa. Aliran pendidikan humanisme orang dewasa menitikberatkan tujuan pendidikan pada pengembangan manusia otentik yang memiliki kemampuan untuk menghadapi kerumitan dan masalah hidup modern. Untuk mencapai tujuan itu, pendidikan humanistik harus bersifat manusiawi, dengan memperhatikan aspek kebutuhan dan minat orang dewasa. Tema-tema utama pendidikan orang dewasa menurut pandangan humanistik adalah pendidikan yang berpusat pada subjek didik, proses belajar aktif dan mandiri, serta fungsi guru sebagai fasilitator.

Abstract

This experimental study aimed at investigating the influence of booklet media toward students’ knowledge and attitude toward narcotics abuse. Pre-test post test design was used and the subjects were 40 students who were divided into two groups. One group received information about narcotics abuse and dangerous drugs from booklets and the other did not. Data on students’ knowledge were collected by using learning achievement test, and data on students’ attitude were taken by using Likert attitude scale. Varian analysis was used to analyze data. The result showed that independently, the students’ knowledge and attitude were not different. In pairs, in the treatment group, there was difference in students’ knowledge.
