Abstract

Keberadaan pendidikan luar biasa sebagai sub-sistem pendidikan nasional tidak terlepas dari masalah yang berkembang secara regional dan nasional. Salah satu bentuk rekayasa inovatif dalam pendidikan luar biasa setelah diterapkannya sistem pendidikan segregasi adalah pendidikan terpadu, baik yang bercirikan keterpaduan antaranak luar biasa dari beragam jenis (Sekolah Dasar Luar Biasa, SDLB) maupun keterpaduan anak luar biasa dengan anak normal (Sekolah Terpadu).

Abstract

Education in Indonesia relates to some theories of philosophy: idealism in the context of character building and human nature, realism in the context of human commitment to the social environment, humanism relating to moral building, and pragmatism focusing on natural and social environment. The curriculum, educational content, and educational goal in Indonesia seem to be an inseparable unity. The educational effort is aimed at improving all aspects of national personality and fulfilling the need for the balanced physical, psychological, and spiritual needs. Therefore, an integrated curriculum which involves the spirit of patriotism, skill education, and professional education should be implemented.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dalam melaksanakan wajib belajar dilihat dari komponen guru, sarana dan prasarana. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 44 sekolah/kepala sekolah dan 206 guru MI yang tersebar di wilayah kecamatan Singosari, Pujon, Bantur, dan Tajinan Kabupaten Malang. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket, wawancara dan observasi, dan hasilnya dianalisis dengan statistik rerata (mean). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa komponen guru cukup siap melaksanakan wajib belajar, sedangkan komponen sarana dan prasarana belum siap dalam mewujudkan pelaksanaan wajib belajar.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dalam melaksanakan wajib belajar dilihat dari komponen guru, sarana dan prasarana. Abstract

The problem studied is the working efficiency of lecturers within the organizational structure of the Faculty of Mathematics and Science (FMIPA), State University of Malang (UM). The design used is a survey involving the lecturers of the faculty. Data were collected using questionnaires, interviews, and inventory, and then analyzed statistically by t-test. The results show that among all the departments, student-lecturer ratio in the Department of Physics is efficient, while the ratio in the Mathematics, Chemistry, and Biology is inefficient. Viewed overall, student-lecturer ratio in FMIPA UM is inefficient. Among all the departments, lecturers' load in the Departments of Physics and Biology is efficient. From the point of view of lecturers' load, the work of lecturers in FMIPA UM is inefficient.

Abstract

This research aimed at understanding and explaining the metacognition that the lecturers experienced in their teaching. The subjects of this case study were 9 lecturers of IKIP Nusantara; the case was the metacognition of the nine lecturers, and the analysis units were their respective lectures. The data were comprised of the lecturers’ teaching acts, the process of their metacognition and their personal perception and philosophy in the forms of verbal self-reports obtained from interview. The findings show that the quality of instruction depends on the quality of the lecturers’ metacognition. Therefore, the realization of the comprehensive goals of education in the process of learning and teaching lies on the willingness and seriousness of the lecturers to monitor and tailor their teaching and learning according to the true concept of education.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to test wether there is a significant correlation between art knowledge and interest in teaching arts. Two hundred students of primary school teacher education at State University of Makassar were involved. The descriptive analysis of the data obtained from documentation and questionnaire indicates that there was a positive correlation between the students’ knowledge and their interest in teaching arts in primary schools.

Abstract

Opinions of Academic Members about Creativity Development in Facing Challenges of the Globalization Era. The purpose of the study was to obtain empirical data concerning the opinions of academic members about creativity development in facing challenges of the globalization era. The data were collected from students, lecturers and administrators of the six teacher colleges in Jakarta by using a questionnaire and then analyzed statistically using chi square. The results indicate that there is no significant difference in terms of opinions about creativity development in facing globalization era between students, lecturers, and administrators. Most of them seemed to agree on the importance of creativity.

Abstract

This explanatory survey aims to investigate teachers' understanding of inclusion program, institutions' readiness in implementing the program success. Questionnaires were distributed to 30 purposively sampled elementary teachers of special educational needs. Interviews were also carried out to validate questionnaire responses. The results of descriptive analyses reveal that teachers had little knowledge about the inclusion program, institutions were not effectively ready to enforce the program, and a number of factors, such as teachers, facilities, and parents, still doubted the program success.

Abstract

Gaya kepemimpinan ketua dan interaksi kelompok merupakan faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi angota kelompok dasa wisma dalam upaya memelihara kebersihan lingkungan. Gaya kepemimpinan dilihat dari aspek kepemimpinan ketua, sedangkan aspek interaksi kelompok dilihat dari kualitas dan kuantitasnya. Masalahnya adalah: apakah terdapat perbedaan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan interaksi kelompok terhadap tingkat partisipasi anggota kelompok. Penelitian ini ingin melihat perbedaan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan interaksi kelompok terhadap tingkat partisipasi anggota kelompok. Disimpulkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan ketua mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi anggota kelompok. Demikian pula interaksi kelompok, baik kualitas maupun kuantitasnya.
