Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study is that student learning outcomes are still less than optimal. This study aims to determine how much influence the Puzzle Learning Media has to improve student learning outcomes in the fourth grade mathematics subject UPTD SD Negeri 124405 Pematangsiantar. This type of research is a quantitative research conducted at UPTD SD Negeri 124405 Pematang Siantar, with a sample of 36 students. Data collection techniques using tests and documentation. And the data analysis technique used normality, homogeneity, t test and simple regression analysis. Hypothesis Testing with a significance level of 5%. The analysis in the early stages shows that the population is normally distributed, has the same variance, and has learning outcomes that are not optimal. When given the pre test, it is known that the average learning outcomes of the experimental class and control class are 50.00 and 36.18, after being given treatment then a post test is done, it is known that the average learning outcomes of the experimental class and control class are 91.58 and 52.06. So that the increase in the experimental class is 21.58 and the control class is 15.88. From the results obtained, there is a positive and significant influence between Puzzle Learning Media (X) To improve Learning Outcomes (Y) Mathematics for fourth grade students UPTD SD Negeri 124405 Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023 with a value of tcount> ttable (12.191> 2.032) and a value of Sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the analysis of Key data, the puzzle learning media has a positive and significant effect on improving student learning outcomes in the fourth grade mathematics subject at UPTD SD Negeri 124405 Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023.

Abstract

Using data from a teacher from Sukma Bangsa School Sigi, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, this paper wants to provide a preliminary finding for research on supporting teachers to learn peace. This research uses a framework that states the practice of school culture contributes to teachers’ professional development for peace education. The framework provides four categories of school culture practice that can support teachers in learning peace: institutional management, school environment, facilitation for learning, and relations among teachers. The data shows that those four categories of school culture practice are found in Sukma Bangsa School Sigi. However, each category has a different level of supporting the teacher in learning peace.

Abstract

One of the most typical problems experienced during the learning process for mathematics is the lack of student motivation in their studies. To assist students in resolving this problem, the teacher's position as a motivator is essential. It is hoped that the teacher's passion will increase the student's interest in studying, resulting in a successful learning process. This study asks the following question: How can a teacher pique a student's interest in mathematics? The purpose of this study is to examine the significance of the teacher's role as a motivator in promoting students' excitement for learning. Techniques for qualitative research were used to write this essay. The study's subject population consisted of 39 students in grades IX-A and IX-C. Reaching learning goals is hampered by learning problems. For students to achieve these goals, the teacher must be able to motivate them. The findings of this study show that a teacher's role as a motivator can correspond to the indicators of learning mathematics interest. To make it clear how the instructor's position affects students' motivation for learning, the author suggests utilizing the teacher as a motivator more than twice.

Abstract

Mathematics is taught to guide students to think creatively in solving problems which encountered in everyday life. This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical creative thinking of students who take the learning by using the Open-Ended, self- confidence approach students who followed the learning by using the Open-Ended approach, and determine the interaction between the Open-Ended approaches with students’ level of ability (high, medium, and low) towards mathematical creative thinking abilities. This study is a quasi-experimental research design with pre-test post-test control group design . The population of this study were all eight grade students of Sukma Bangsa Pidie Junior High School with two samples (experimental and control classes) which is decided by using purposive sampling. Data collection was performed using two types of instruments, test and non-test instruments. The tests include mathematical creative thinking skills, and non-tests include the Self-Confidence questionnaire. Based on statistical data analysis using t-test at a significant level of 0.05, it is identified that 1) The ability of students’ mathematical creative thinking who learn using the Open-Ended approach is better than students who learn using conventional learning; 2) Students’ Self-Confidence who follow learning using the Open-Ended approach are better than students who obtain conventional learning; 3) There is no dealings between the Open-Ended approaches with students’ level of ability (high, medium, and low) toward the ability of students’ mathematical creative thinking skills.

Abstract

The teacher community in an educational unit is needed by teachers, because it is a place for learning to organize in teaching materials and improving the quality of teaching carried out in the classroom which automatically has an impact on increasing the compe- tence of the teachers themselves. Sharing information about the latest things in the world of education will increase the knowledge of teachers in this group of organizations. This study aims to obtain information about the role of the Subject Teacher Consultation (MGMP) in improving the competence of teachers in the field of English studies in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. This study is a descriptive analysis of the number of English teachers in the West Jakarta I MGMP as many as 133 people who are the pop- ulation in this study. Sampling using random sampling technique so that the number of samples obtained as many as 54 teachers. Primary data is used in this study, which means that data are obtained directly from the respondents. The results of the study for data analysis used the average formula (mean). The research instru- ment used a Likert scale. The results showed that with the involvement of teachers as members of the English Subject Teacher Consultation community, it was very useful  to  improve  the  competence  of  teaching  English in the classroom, with the aim that students could un- derstand and master the teaching material presented by the teacher.

Abstract

The function of national education is to develop the ability to think rationally and form noble character in relation to Pancasila values, namely religious values, humanity, unity, democracy and justice. Axiology is a branch of philosophy that examines the benefits or values of knowledge acquired by humans. One branch of axiology is moral conduct (moral action that gives rise to discipline, especially ethics). Environmental ethics are guidelines on ways of thinking, behaving and acting based on positive values in order to maintain the function and sustainability of the environment. The axiological foundation of the national education system is important as a basis for analyzing the application of educational theory related to educational goals, especially in relation to Pancasila values. This study describes the benefits or values of axiology and its application in National Education. The conclusion of this study is that from an axiological perspective, the benefits of applying axiology to the environment in education that are expected to emerge are the awakening of students' conceptual knowledge about axiology-based national education, the development of procedural knowledge to develop students' skills and capacities in applying axiological principles, students are encouraged to develop their personalities to become wise and moral human beings with care for education, the realization of educational interventions for better conditions of students, successful in developing the attitudes and beliefs of students to try to become human beings with knowledge, skills, attitudes, and environmentally sound values to shape a sustainable future for future generations.

Abstract

Keterampilan dasar mengajar adalah sebuah keterampilan yang wajib di miliki oleh setiap pendidik sehingga seorang pendidik mampu melakukan pembelajaran  jika sudah bisa menerapkan  keterampilan belajar dengan sempurna. Di dalam kegiatan tersebut tidak hanya tentang guru yang memberikan pembelajaran dengan murid tetapi pendidik di tuntut untuk dapat memberikan bimbingan,mengajarkan serta memberikan ilmu terhadap muridnya yang berkaitan terhadap karakteriristiknya. sebuah keterampilan yang di berikan ini berkaitan dengan sebuah hal  yang sifatnya wajib di miliki sejak awal serta harus di miliki oleh pendidik saat melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran. Pada saat mengajar harus mempunyai dua kemampuaan yang harus di miliki  pendidik yang meliputi menguasai materi yang di berikan kemudian dan Cara dalam melakukan pembelajaran . keterampilan dasar mengajar sangat penting dimiliki oleh guru karena memudahkan proses pembelajan yang ada di dalam kelas nantinya . keterampilan mengajar ini sangat penting dimiliki oleh guru karena hasil belajar yang baik itu sangat bergantung pada bagaimana gurunya menyampaikan materi agar di pahami oleh siswanya dan sejauh mana ketrampilan mengajar gurunya. Abstract

Secara teoretis, peran guru dalam pengembangan kurikulum pada dasarnya mendapat tempat penting dalam literatur karena terkait dengan kualitas implementasi dalam peran mereka sebagai agents of change di dunia pendidikan. Namun demikian, peran tersebut berpeluang tereduksi ketika terjadi sentralisasi penyusunan dan pengembangan kurikulum, seperti ketika diterbitkan rangkaian kebijakan kurikulum nasional. Setelah menelusuri konsep-konsep yang menunjukkan betapa pentingnya peran guru sebagai pengembang kurikulum, penulis menganalisis aturan birokratis perundang-undangan, yakni UU No. 20/2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional dan UU No. 14/2005 tentang Guru dan Dosen. Hal ini dilakukan terutama untuk  melihat bagaimana guru diposisikan dalam sistem tersebut dan bagaimana semua itu memungkinkan peluang bagi reorientasi sistem pengembangan kurikulum berbasis guru. Hasil analisis menunjukkan dilema struktural atau bahkan strukturasi, di mana unsur politis dan birokrasi sangat desisif dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Di tingkat sekolah, meskipun terdapat konsep pengembangan kurikulum tingkat satuan Pendidikan (KTSP), strukturasi yang kuat menjadi hambatan utama bagi insiatif dan inovasi kurikuler di tingkat guru.

Abstract

Pembelajaran jarak jauh atau online semakin menjadi tren di era digital ini. Platform seperti Zoom dan Google Classroom (GCR) sangat membantu dalam mendukung pembelajaran online. Namun, bagaimana big data pada platform tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media penunjang pembelajaran masih menjadi topik penelitian yang menarik. Artikel ini membahas tentang bagaimana big data pada platform Zoom dan GCR dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran online. Dengan analisis data pengguna, personalisasi pembelajaran, dan peningkatan efektivitas pembelajaran, pengajar dapat memperoleh informasi yang sangat bermanfaat dalam menyusun strategi pembelajaran yang efektif. Namun, etika dan kebijakan privasi data pengguna harus tetap diperhatikan dalam penggunaan big data pada platform tersebut. Dalam rangka meningkatkan pembelajaran online, penggunaan big data pada platform Zoom dan GCR dapat menjadi solusi yang efektif.

Abstract

Manajemen Pendidikan adalah suatu kegiatan atau rangkaian kegiatan yang berupa proses pengelolaan usaha kerja sama sekelompok manusia yang tergabung dalam organisasi pendidikan, untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Tujuan dari literature review adalah untuk mereview bagaimana implementasi manajemen pendidikan dalam meningkatkan karakter peserta didik. Metode: Literatur review dilakukan berdasarkan issue, metodologi, persamaan dan proposal penelitian lanjutan. Dari 5 penelitian yang digunakan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Populasinya adalah peserta didik yang masih mengenyam pendidikan baik dalam jenjang SD, SMP maupun SMA/SMK. Hasil: Berdasarkan 5 penelitian didapatkan bahwa dalam mengimplementasikan manajemen pendidikan karakter terdapat faktor pendukung dan mengalami hambatan.
