Abstract

The problem based learning model is an innovative learning model that can provide active learning conditions for students. Problem Based Learning is a learning model that involves students to learn knowledge related to problems and at the same time has the skills to solve problems, from the experience of solving problems on their own without help from the teacher causing these students to understand more so they can create a learning environment as a social system characterized by a democratic process and a scientific process. The application of the problem-based learning learning model to teaching Hindu religion and morals in class XI IPA at Dharma Praja Denpasar High School brings a new learning atmosphere because it is very liked by students in the class because learning feels fun with solving cases related to life real. The results of this study will show how the application of the problem-based learning model in Hindu religious education and character education in class XI IPA at SMA Dharma Praja Denpasar, by going through the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluation stage as well as the constraints and efforts made and the implications happen.

Abstract

Character education when viewed in the context of education in Indonesia refers to 18 noble values originating from the nation's culture and o foster the personality of the next generation (the younger generation). The teachings of character education can not only be found through learning in schools but can be seen in geguritan literary works. Geguritan Budi Pekerti is one of Bali Purwa's literary works which contains ethical and Hindu religious values. The problem that is studied in this scientific article is the structure of the teaching of character education in ethical behavior. The theory used in this study is Hans Georg Gadamer's Hermeneutical Theory which is strongly related to the interpretation of literary works and Charles Sanders Pierce's Semiotic Theory to study the doctrinal structure (icon) in Geguritan Budi Pekerti. This research is a qualitative research conducted by data collection methods through interviews, documentation, and literature study. The collected data were analyzed using the hermeneutic data analysis method and presented using inductive deductive techniques. The results of this study are in the form of a structure of character education teachings in Geguritan Budi Pekerti that is religious teachings, tolerance, honesty and social care.

Abstract

Religious moderation character education must start early, especially in heterogeneous areas or communities such as in Gorontalo Province. Religious moderation character education is carried out through three domains, namely education in the family, education in schools, and education in the community. Community support in Hindu religious education is through the provision of non-formal education in the form of pasraman. The purpose of this research is to find out the form of strategies to strengthen character education in forming an attitude of religious moderation, knowing the constraints and efforts and understanding the implications. This research method uses a type of qualitative research. This research was conducted at the Kilat Pasraman, Banuroja Village. Data collection techniques were obtained from observation, interviews, literature studies and document studies. Based on the results of this study, a strategy for strengthening character education in forming an attitude of religious moderation at the Kilat Village Islamic Boarding School in Banuroja Village is carried out by means of lesson planning, learning materials and learning implementation. Constraints include management of time allocation, distance to be covered and also learning facilities. Efforts made to overcome these obstacles apply a personal approach to optimize learning time, provide time flexibility for students, make use of the facilities and infrastructure they have. Implementation of the character of religious moderation through respect and appreciation, acceptance of differences and tolerance, helping, willing to share, polite, and humble. Implementation in learning is done with the lecture method, question and answer and practice is done with skills training.

Abstract

Video Based Learning Media has advantages, which are more effective and efficient, and support a more active learning process. The learning process at SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar is currently not as expected because the learning outcomes of class XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar have not yet reached the completeness set as it should. The issues that will be discussed include (1) What is the form of application of Video Based Learning Media in Hindu Religious Education and Characteristics in Improving Student Learning Outcomes (2) How are students' responses to the application of Video Based Learning Media in Improving Student Learning Outcomes. This study aims to (1) Know the forms of Application of Video Based Learning Media in Religious and Moral Education Learning (2) Analyze the level of student response to the application of Video Based Learning Media in Improving Student Learning Outcomes. This study uses theory (1) Constructivism Theory (2) Cone of Experience Theory. The subjects of this study included all students of class XI IPA 3 at SMA Negeri 8 Denpasar. Methods of data collection using test methods, interviews and observation. Student value data that has been collected is analyzed quantitatively. The results of the data obtained showed an increase in learning outcomes from cycle I, there were 23 students or 51.1% of students who had not completed and 22 students completed (48.8%) increased in cycle II 45 students completed (100%) and all students received a complete score . Student responses were very positive, they liked video-based learning because it was easy to understand and fun. It is suggested to teachers of Hindu religious education and morals to make Video Based Learning media an alternative choice so as to keep abreast of educational developments.

Abstract

Hindu religious education and ethics as an effort to prepare students to know, understand, live, have piety and have noble character in practicing the teachings of Hinduism. In forming the religious character of students at SMK Negeri 2 Kintamani, they internalize Hindu religious education and ethics. The results of this study indicate: (1) The internalization of Hindu religious education and ethics in shaping the religious character of students in class X SMK Negeri 2 Kintamani is carried out because of the existence of the environment and the influence of modernization on student behavior, learning and religious habits (2) The teacher's strategy in the process of internalization Hindu religious education and ethics in   Shaping the religious character of students in class X SMK Negeri 2 Kintamani, includes: learning, habituation and development of school culture. (3) The implications of the internalization of Hindu religious education and ethics in shaping the religious character of students in class X SMK Negeri 2 Kintamani, namely: the cognitive domain (students remember, understand and apply the concepts of Hinduism), the affective domain (students accept and familiarize themselves with the concepts of religious teachings Hinduism), the psychomotor domain (students imitate or follow the concepts of Hinduism).   Keywords: Internalization, Hindu Religious Education and Character, Religious Character

Abstract

Early marriage is a physical and spiritual relationship between men and women in the household at a young age.  Early marriage that occurred at Auman Bukit Munduk Tiying Banjar is an event that is contrary to religious teachings and law No. 16 article 7 of 2019. Based on this background, the formulation of the problem in this study is: 1. What are the factors-factors that cause early marriage at Auman Bukit Munduk Tiying hamlet, Pelaga Village, Petang District, Badung Regency, 2. What are the implications of implementing early marriage at Auman Bukit Munduk Tiying hamlet, Pelaga Village, Petang District, Badung Regency, 3  How are the efforts of the village government or community in anticipating early marriage at the Auman Bukit Munduk Tiying hamlet, Pelaga Village, Petang District, Badung Regency.  The research method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach.  The theoretical basis is the theory of social change, the theory of behavior change (behavioristic), and the theory of symbolic interactionism.  The informant determination technique is purposive.  Data collection techniques are interviews, literature, observation, and documentation.  The results of this study found that 1) the occurrence of early marriage in hamlet Auman Bukit Munduk Tiying was a result of internal and external factors, 2) the implications of early marriage that occurred were implications for education, psychology, reproductive health, religious, moral, social,  and law 3) the efforts of the village government or the community in anticipating early marriage are by providing outreach to the community regarding the implications of early marriage, the role of parents in protecting and reminding their children and reminding them of the laws and regulations that have been made by the government.  Keywords: Implications, Early Marriage

Abstract

The learning of Hindu Religion and Moral Education which has a tendency only leads to memorization efforts and is not based on experience, can cause the knowledge gained to be easily lost from students' memories. So that students will be smart theoretically without any application and practice in life. The purpose of this research is to identify the forms of contextual learning models, the supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as the implications for students and teachers. The theories used are: (1) Constructivism Theory from Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky, (2) Humanism Theory from Abraham Maslow, and (3) Stimulus Response Theory from Edward Lee Thorndike. This type of research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection uses techniques or methods of observation, interviews, documentation, and literature. The results of the study show (1) there are 3 forms of contextual models, namely, the planning stage, the implementation stage, and the evaluative stage. (2) Supporting factors: student enthusiasm in learning, adequate facilities, teachers who master the material. Inhibiting factors: inadequate teacher preparation, students not interested in following lessons, lack of learning media. (3) Implications for students: growing student character, being able to understand subject matter and being able to implement it in everyday life, increasing critical and creative thinking skills. The implication for Hindu Religious Education Teachers is being able to provide meaningful subject matter because of the process of linking the material to students' lives.

Abstract

  The very high level of plurality that belongs to Indonesian society is a potential as well as a very big threat. Strategies that are actualized within the scope of learning can help students shape character, develop their potential towards thinking and acting critically. The Hindu Religious Education Teacher's Strategy plays a very large role in strengthening students' understanding of good and true multicultural beliefs and understanding. The aim of this study was to find out the strategy of Hindu religious education teachers in forming students' pluralist humanist personalities which later can be used as evaluation material in implementing student personality. The theories used in this research are multiculturalism, counter-stimulation theory, and humanistic theory. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The research location was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Kediri, Tabanan. The technique of determining informants in this study used a purposive sampling technique with data collection in the form of observation, interviews, literature study and documentation. The collected data will be analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique. The results of the study show that the Hindu religious education teacher's strategy in forming the pluralist humanist personality of students is through three types of activities, namely intra-curricular, extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. The role of the Hindu religious education teacher in forming the pluralist humanist personality of students is as a facilitator, motivator, mentor and educator. The challenge for teachers of Hindu religious education in shaping students' pluralist humanist personalities is to face the influence of globalization and challenges in dealing with ethnocentrism. Abstract

Religious spiritual strength is achieved by the application of Hindu Religious Education and Ethics lessons. The importance of this lesson makes the learning outcomes a benchmark in seeing students' understanding of religion. The learning process factors such as reading interest and learning motivation are important to have, but in fact these two things are one of the weaknesses of students, so it is important to examine this. This research aims to (1) To determine whether there is an influence of reading interest on the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education and Ethics class XI at SMA Dharma Praja Denpasar. (2) To find out whether there is an influence of learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education and Ethics class XI at SMA Dharma Praja Denpasar. (3) To analyze whether there will be an influence of reading interest and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education and Ethics class XI at SMA Dharma Praja Denpasar.The type of research used is quantitative research, ex post facto studies. The population in this study was all grade IX students at SMA Dharma Praja Denpasar who were Hindus. The data collection techniques used are questionnaires, literature studies, observations and documentation. The results in this study show (1) There is an influence of reading interest on the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education and Ethics class XI at SMA Dharma Praja Denpasar with the results of the Sig. (2-tailed) independent t-test of 0.000<0.05. (2) There is an influence of learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education and Ethics class XI at SMA Dharma Praja Denpasar with the results of the Sig. (2-tailed) independent t-test of 0.000<0.05. (3) There is an influence of reading interest and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education and Ethics class XI at SMA Dharma Praja Denpasar with test results f (one way anova) value Sig. Abstract

The Baligia ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency has a uniqueness that distinguishes it from Baligia ceremonies in other regions, especially in Bali, namely that the Baligia ceremony is carried out specifically and takes the most important levels, as a form of final respect from the sentana (descendants) to all Puspa and Name (spirits) who are purified. And this Baligia ceremony is carried out for almost a year. Based on this background, the problems obtained are; (1) How is the Representation of Hindu Teachings in the Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency? (2) What are the characteristics of the Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency? (3) What are the Values of Hindu Education in Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency? This study aims to gain a fundamental understanding related to the Representation of Hindu Education Values, namely (1) To describe the Representation of Hindu Teachings in the Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency, (2) To describe the Characteristics of the Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency, (3) To describe the Values of Hindu Education in the Baligia Ceremony in Jungutan Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem Regency. From this research, it is expected to be a reference and provide benefits for all parties. This research uses a type of qualitative research with the theories used to analyze the problem are Representation Theory, Ritual Theory, and Value Theory to dissect the research problem. Data collection techniques are interviews, documentation, and literature studies. The data that has been collected is then analyzed by descriptive analysis methods with steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study show (1) the representation of Hindu teachings in the Baligia Ceremony is divided into three, namely; sincere and sincere holy sacrifice, Atman's death to Brahman, and the spirit of togetherness and mutual assistance. (2) The characteristics of the Baligia Ceremony, namely Peminehan Anyar which is a ceremonial procession to obtain chess oil through a special process, which is obtained by filtering from feces, urine and milk from purified oxen. (3) The value of Hindu education contained in the Baligia ceremony is the value of tattwa education, the value of moral education, and the value of event / ceremony education.
