Abstract

This research is a quantitative research using path analysis method which distributes google form questionnaires to 100 customers of Hotel Mercure Jakarta. The data is processed using SmartPLS. The results showed that the interaction of social influence was significant on hotel booking intentions through health risks. Meanwhile,hotel cleanliness has no significant effect on hotel booking intentions through health risks. Then social interaction has a significant effect on hotel booking intentions. Furthermore, hotel cleanliness has no significant effect on hotel booking intentions. Health risk has a significant effect on hotel booking intentions. Hotel guests expect a low level of social interaction from check in to check out, which can pose a health risk and intend to make hotel reservations. Hotel cleanliness through health risks cannot increase hotel booking intentions. Hotel guests expect the hotel to make technological innovations that increase guest intention to make room reservations. Hotel cleanliness is not the main expectation of hotel guests, guests expect a low level of social interaction during their stay at the hotel. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify ecotourism activities that lead to the concept of sustainable tourism. Furthermore, from this description, one can examine the sustainability of tourism from three aspects, namely environmental, economic, and socio-cultural. The research method used is qualitative research with an exploratory approach. Data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. Retrieval of informants with purposive sampling which took as many as 20 people as sources. The data that has been collected is analyzed with an interactive model. The results of this study are that the Pancoh Ecotourism Village has implemented the principles of sustainable tourism starting from participation, carrying capacity and promotion. The implementation of sustainable tourism from the socio-cultural aspect is in the form of incorporating elements of local culture into tourist attractions such as the Wiwitan tradition and learning gamelan. Environmental aspects by utilizing sustainable resources such as recycling waste, using cow dung to become biogas, and making crafts from local bamboo materials. The economic aspect is increasing people's welfare through empowering homestays. The benefits obtained from these three aspects have made Pancoh Ecotourism Village maintain its existence and strengthen destinations through tourism activities based on conservation and utilizing existing resources. Abstract

Provinsi Sumatera Barat memiliki atraksi wisata alam yang indah, berada di daratan maupun kepulauannya. Perpaduan bentang alam yang terhampar mulai dari laut hingga puncak gunungnya menjadikan provinsi Sumatera Barat sebagai salah satu destinasi andalan nasional. Saat ini, fokus pengembangan kepariwisataan Sumatera Barat adalah wilayah pesisir. Daerah yang sedang mengembangkan atraksi wisata pesisir adalah Kota Padang, Kab. Padang Pariaman dan Kota Pariaman. Penelitian ini berusaha menunjukkan bahwa untuk mendukung pengembangan kepariwisataan pesisir, upaya promosi yang tepat perlu dilakukan. Salah satu kegiatan promosi yang diselenggarakan pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Barat adalah event balap sepeda Tour de Singkarak (TdS). Penelitian ini berusaha memberikan gambaran tentang kepariwisataan Sumatera Barat secara umum, serta kawasan pesisir pada khususnya. Upaya promosi pariwisata yang tepat perlu dikembangkan untuk wilayah pesisir, terutama pantai. Hasil observasi lapangan menunjukkan bahwa kepariwisataan daratan dan pesisir (kepulauan) Sumatera Barat telah berkembang, setiap daerah fokus pada potensi yang dimiliki. Upaya memajukan kepariwisataan didukung dengan kegiatan promosi yang diinisiasi oleh pemerintah provinsi Sumatera Barat melalui penyelenggaraan even TdS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisa deskriptif kualitatif, data yang diperoleh berdasarkan wawancara serta dukungan data sekunder dijelaskan secara runut dan terperinci dalam laporan ini.

Abstract

This research discusses the introduction of the traditional game in the country. Nusantara game activities with the introduction of those aspects in which the value of culture, philosophy, history, role, application, and benefits should be part in preserving national culture and also provide for regional cultural traits. Traditional games Cublak-Cublak Suweng is a traditional game from Central Java. The history of this game, to do with the creation of the song Cublak-Cublak Suweng, derived from Walisongo, figures propagator of Islam in Java. Cublak traditional game-cubak Suweng can be used as a medium to develop the moral capabilities of early childhood. this can be seen from the meaning contained in the game Cublak-cubak Suweng that finding treasure, position, and positions do not indulgence but everything is back to a clean conscience, conscience will more easily find what wishes are looking for, do not get lost street to forget the hereafter. While the social development of children from perminan can be seen from the child benefit: interacting and socializing with friends and build sportvitas child when a turn to play, the child should receive. The results of this study identified that the game does have a big part in the archipelago nation's cultural heritage. Through the efforts of recognition given in the project, this activities carried out that the traditional games need to be introduced to the people as a cultural preservation efforts since by recognize these games and its aspects will enhance the awareness of individuals and groups about the importance of preserving the national culture in this form of traditional games.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality of organizing special events and city branding of tourist destinations in the Ciletuh Geopark area, Sukabumi Regency. This research uses multiple regression analysis method. Respondents in this study were the government, tourism managers, tourists and the community by providing a questionnaire with a Likert scale. The total population is 1,371,367 inhabitants. While the sample amounted to 139 people using the Slovin formula. The results of this study partially show that the quality of organizing special events has no significant effect on tourism destinations. While partially the quality of city branding has a significant effect on tourism destinations. Ciletuh Geopark is an area that is part of the UNESCO Global Geopark as an attraction that attracts tourists to visit, with many natural and cultural attractions that are still very strong in the local community. For the Indonesian Fishermen's Association, establishing broader relationships with stakeholders is useful in improving the quality of the organization, both in terms of marketing and the implementation of the Palabuanratu Fisherman Day Festival. The government is expected to be able to catalog events, so that visitors have the desire to explore tourist destinations. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of employee involvement and corporate culture on company performance. The research method uses multiple regression analysis. The population in this study were all employees at the Horison Hotel Bandar Lampung. While the sample amounted to 100 respondents. The results of the study partially involve employee involvement and company culture have a significant effect on company performance. Employee involvement at Hotel Horison Bandar Lampung has a positive impact on company performance through high commitment, dedication and enthusiasm in their duties, which increases motivation, productivity, guest service, customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Corporate culture has a significant influence on the performance of Hotel Horison Bandar Lampung. A strong and clear culture creates stronger identification between employees and company goals, encourages motivation and dedication, and promotes active participation, innovation and collaboration. All of this has a positive impact on the quality of service and the overall guest experience. Hotel Horison Bandar Lampung is expected to create open and effective communication channels between management and employees and focus on developing a positive, inclusive and collaborative corporate culture to enhance employee engagement and overall team spirit. Abstract

Asia Tenggara atau yang biasa dikenal sebagai ASEAN (Association South East Asia Nation) memiliki potensi wisata yang sangat tinggi. Faktor pendukung hal ini adalah destinasi-destinasi yang terdapat di masing-masing negara, diantaranya adalah Thailand dan Indonesia yang sama-sama merupakan negara berkembang di Asia Tenggara. Dimana hal ini tentunya didukung oleh keunggulan bersaing masing-masing negara, Studi identifikasi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui secara rinci mengenai keunggulan bersaing yang dimiliki Thailand ataupun Indonesia. Dimana penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Dalam penelitian ini, data primer didapatkan dari kuisioner dengan responden wisatawan mancanegara yang pernah mengunjungi masing-masing studi kasus, sedangkan data sekunder didapatkan dari studi kepustakaan baik melalui internet maupun melalui buku-buku, jurnal, karya tulis, tesis, data statistik, artikel majalah, dan artikel dari koran. Berdasarkan hasil akhir dari penelitian, keunggulan bersaing Indonesia dapat dilihat dari sub variabel dengan angka tertinggi 3,72 yaitu related and supporting industries. Sedangkan factor conditions mendapatkan angka 3,38, firm strategy, structure and rivalry mendapatkan angka sebesar 3,28, dan terakhir yaitu sub variable demand condition mendapatkan angka terendah dibandingkan dengan sub variabel lainnya yaitu sebesar 3,27. Sementara itu, keunggulan bersaing Thailand disimpulkan dengan rata-rata tertinggi yaitu related and supporting industries pada angka 3,98, firm strategy, structure and rivalry dengan angka 3,83, sedangkan factor conditions dengan angka 3,76, dan angka terendah yaitu 3,68 pada sub variabel demand conditions.

Abstract

Increasingly intense competition in the service or service industry, making hotel organizations strive to always improve the quality of service in accordance with customer demand at present (short term), as well as future (long term) so that customers feel satisfied and continue to use services. One important hotel service is Housekeeping department because it has a role to support cleanliness, neatness, and beauty of the room. To provide quality room service standards, behavior and actions of Room Attendant must be properly considered where the room attendant must understand how to serve and understand the guests, because providing quality services to guests has the purpose of winning business competition. The research method used is the Importance-Performance Analysis method at the Inter-Continental Hotel Jakarta Mid-Plaza for 1 month, from August untillseptember 2017 with 75 guest that stay in the hotel. Analysis of customer satisfaction. the advantage of this method is the using of measurement methods that are easy to understand. This method is done by measuring five dimensions of service quality, tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy. The results of the assessment show that the average room attendant performance is slightly higher than the average guest expectation, so guests staying at the Inter-Continental Hotel Jakarta Mid-Plaza are satisfied with the service of the room attendant

Abstract

This study aims to determine the community's involvement in the development of tourism business at Wana Wisata Kawah Putih, Kaupaten Bandung. The method used is descriptive-qualitative by using the Nominal Group Technique (NGT) as a guide to analyze. Data were obtained from observations and interviews with informants purposively. The conclusion that the community is involved in functional or collaboration level.

Abstract

In the midst of the current modern globalization, the use of social media has almost been enjoyed by most people. However, it turns out that not all elements of society have the ability to use social media. The existence of this conventional media is still sustainable and is used today, in fact it is still a favorite media for villagers in Kedungwuluh, Pangandaran. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, in which the writer tries to describe in detail and detail a certain phenomenon. This study emphasizes the development of concepts and collects facts found in the field and does not carry out hypotheses. The purpose of this study was to determine the reasons for tourism managers and local village officials to maintain this conventional promotional media as one of the important media in promoting Kedung Lumpang tourism. The next goal is to find out what conventional media are used in the promotion. The result of this research is that there are several conventional media which are considered effective in the current promotion process. First, through word of mouth.
